I really tried to be fair and gave them a chance to fix my hair after my first bad experience. The stylist that attempted to fix my hair tried his best with what was left on my head but I’m still disappointed and in my opinion it looks worse than when he started. I would normally just put on a hat and get over it but I’m supposed to get married Monday and I still feel hideous. I do not feel comfortable without a hat even in my own home. I have very thin hair and it already takes forever to grow out but after it’s been razor cut like this I don’t know when I’m ever going to be comfortable with my looks again

Great experience with Horacio. I have curls so it’s hard trusting someone with my hair and he made sure that I was comfortable and didn’t do something that I don’t like. He also isn’t like other hir styles that do it there own way he listens and make sure that he does what the customer wants. I would 100 recommend him.

Im trying to be fair here and I love giving praise when its due but this, unfortunately, was not the case and its at my expense. I set up an appointment for a bayalage. It came out fair but the price I paid, it shouldve been AMAZING. I cant totally tell you the result because my hair is still WET. IN FAIRNESS, they did tell me they would not be able to blow dry or straighten due to being the last appointment of the day. HOWEVER, SHE PULLED ME 20 MINUTES LATE AND WAS WORKING ON ANOTHER CLIENT STILL FOR THE FIRST HOUR OF MY APPOINTMENT! She would leave for about 5-10 minutes at a time with foils in my hair to work on the other clients hair. There couldve been time for a complimentary blow dry (especially considering she was late pulling me and working on someone else) if I was given the full attention of my appointment time. The employees who were waiting to wash hair and other hair dressers were bashing customers who were coming in for appointments right IN FRONT OF ME. I feel like there is no natural sense of customer service. I get they are young but there needs to be some kind of professionalism in front of PAYING CUSTOMERS. As soon as my hair was finished being washed she THEN mentioned that I would be charged for a childs shampoo because every bayalage is charged with one. This was NOT information that was given to me during my consultation over the phone. The price was absurd for what I was given. I dont mind paying for quality but the price did not match the result or the service.I gave an extra star because they were continuously cleaning and sanitizing.

I love this place. Always great service. However, recently I was not aware of the policy changes involving discounts. I am a life time member and was not notified. Had I known I would have changed my appt. Date. Disappointed.

Been coming here for about 3 years now and it’s awesome every single time. Horacio does my hair and he’s amazing!! Not only is he great but so is the rest of the staff. Everyone is so friendly and comforting.

Wendy is top-notch. My sister wanted some kind of Japanese haircut. Wendy took her time with my sisters hair. My sisters hair is super straight and needs tons of layering to give it any kind of depth. Wendy really took her time and really made sure she was giving my sister exactly what she asked for.

Angie is the best! She’s honest about what works and what doesn’t for the look you are going for. She could tell I didn’t want to chop my hair off after I’d grown it out. Due to the damage from using box hair color, my hair was dry and green. She was able to cut most of it out without making me have to get a pixie cut. We compromised on a shorter bob and I’m happy with the way it came out.

Stylist got attitude when he realized he had wrong customer with my wife. Rushed to get through. Cut was not exactly what my wife wanted.

Terrible front desk customer service. Hair cut was done nicely, color was terrible, my daughter went in for highlights, one side of her head was lighter than the other side. They did offer to try And fix it but after already being there for 4hrs I was done with the place. If you dont mind rude customer service this is a good place for a cut, I would avoid getting color.

What my boyfriend asked for, vs what he got. His stylist ignored his request AND reference image when he said he wanted the back long, the back is uneven, there is a distinct line where his sideburns grow in length because she failed to fade them in, and he is missing a chunk of hair on his neck. I honestly cant believe that he paid for this, he was butchered. We wont be coming back.

All the people Ive met at this chain are extremely accommodating and professional. Very good at their craft. I showed up last minute with no appointment to get a haircut and was able to get someone that would be available within 30 minutes. I ate the food court while waiting and received a call/text when my appointment was up. The Creative Director level stylist I got was very sweet and attentive. She made sure I got the cut I wanted and chopped the amount I wanted. I really had a great experience here. Overall, Id recommend this salon as Id totally come back.

Got a perm for the easy spiral look without curling... it’s been about a month and my hair is straight as it was. Perm did not take. Not to mention the young man who rised my hair soaked the back of my shirt. Had to ask for a new hair gown and everything because he was oblivious.

I had a very courteous stylist, she was sweet and communicated well. However although they had already mentioned that they werent offering blow drying and styling. Id rather have had my hair cut dry than wet, and leave the salon wet. Because you always want to go back and have it dry so that you can clean it up, as hair shrinks a bit after drying. I just would have wanted my ends to be a bit more cleaned up. But nonetheless Im happy that I had my long hair trimmed.

Staff was friendly and my daughter got exactly what she asked for. The wait wasnt to bad for being a walk in.

I went in with a ton of hair, showed my picture to the stylist by the name of Andrea Solis. She seemed to immediately get an idea of what I wanted. She was a bit rough in the washing part, but during the cut I felt like she was very comfortable with what she was doing and ended up doing a very good job. I walked out with great hair. The next day, I showered and styled my hair as I normally do and am still very happy with my cut. I plan on using her for a dye and highlight session. Shes a Jr stylist, but should be able to quickly move up in position.

This past Saturday we took our 4 year old daughter to get her first haircut. We absolutely chose the perfect place! Simon Fairchild was her hairstylist and he made it such a wonderful experience for a couple of first time parents! He was so patient while we took numerous videos and photos and posed so many times for us and made us feel like he was enjoying the experience just as much as we were. Simon even had a first haircut memory keepsake that he gave us and took very serious! He made sure that we had the first cut and enough of it! He understood what this meant to us. My daughter loved being pampered and treated like a princess!! And to make her feel extra beautiful he even gave her some glitter hair spray that she absolutely loved. Sometimes the details matter most. Thank you so much Simon for making my daughter feel comfortable, giving her the royal treatment and most of all for the amazing memory.

Horacio is a life savor!!! A wedding is in two months and the person who cut my hair before botched it. Badly. Today I went in and I told him I would love to keep my length due to the wedding coming soon but if he can’t I completely understand. He saved my hair!! He cut it in a way that looks very nice even when I wear it natural!! I would totally recommend him to anyone! He’s one of the few stylist who listen and work with you! Love him!

Simon is amazing. I have difficult hair that has a slight bend to it (leans more towards straight but not totally straight) and is very fine. The density of it is more sparse at the top whereas the bottom of my head the hair follicles are very densely packed (aka all of my hair weight is at the bottom).Ive never once in my 21 years of life ever had a haircut that I was 100% happy with until Simon cut it. I showed him a picture of Alexa Chungs infamous lob/bob and he adjusted the cut to fit my face and hair texture the best.He really did an amazing job. Even after washing my hair, it still looks as good as when I walked out with it. Amazing!!

Nicole is amazing with hair color! She gives excellent advice on what will look best and makes recommendations to help the overall health of your hair. I absolutely love my hair every time she does it. Kim is amazing with cuts...she cut my hair exactly like I wanted it and actually even better than I imagined it would turn out. Worst haircut ever!! I showed the stylist a picture of a layered choppy haircut. What I got was a blunt cut you would see on a five year old. I tried to style it, maybe it will be better in a couple weeks. No, waiting did not help. Now I will have to pay for another haircut. Total disgusted and embarrassed to go anywhere.

I absolutely love the service provide by James Pittman. My friend recommended him to me and I had tried a couple times to book him and he was always booked but I had really bad experiences with haircuts that I was determined to not cut my hair until I was able to get an appointment with him. When I finally was able to get an appointment with him he made me feel very comfortable and did a great job with my hair that every since then I have not gone to anyone else for a hair cut. My daughter also needed someone for a haircut one day and her stylist had left the Visible Changes at the Almeda location that I did not hesitated and booked James I was kind of scared because she was so used to her stylist that I didnt think she would let him cut her hair but nope he charmed her and she let him cut her hair just fine. He has now become her stylist as well and does not let anyone else touch her hair if it isnt James.He is such a spectacular stylist and a wonderful person that takes his job serious and with great pride. I would recommend him in a heartbeat. Ive had people ask me who cuts my hair and I always tell them to go to him. The best of the best. The 5 stars are not for the place but for James because if he was not there I would not go there.

Absolutely love Amanda! I have had a hard time finding someone that was able to cut my hair, blend and texturize it correctly without leaving my hair all choppy and uneven. My hair always looks great thanks to her, she really knows what she is doing. She is very knowledgeable and friendly, definitely a keeper.I also would like to say that James cuts my toddlers hair and he really is awesome. Having a hair stylist that knows what hes doing (makes hair look great) and is patient and friendly with kids is hard to find. Both great people :)

Theyve earned this loyal customer!Ive never had a solid go-to stylist before coming here, but now I book here every single time!Davids a master stylist with *magic fingers*, I swear, and I go to him now for my short, tricky hairstyle. Hes wonderful and a pleasure to work and chat with; I had never felt comfortable sitting in a salon chair and fumbling through a bad explanation of what I wanted to do with my do, but he made it fun and simple, and he worked with me until we reached the style I wanted.Also, Ive come in a few times for a trim between cuts when David wasnt available; I went to Alisha, who was super bubbly and fun. She was very attentive to my requests, and she took the time to help sort out this one weird cowlick spot that was revealed when my style grew out a bit-- she tackled it like a champ, and now I use her recommended solution for that spot at every trim. Her work was clean and done very well.All the staff at this location have always been very helpful, polite, and professional, and every hair product that I use now has been a spot-on recommendation from them. The recommendations themselves have always been given with a helpful mindset and never felt like a forced sales tactic.Ive been coming to this location since July of 2016, its a definite keeper.

AMazing every time

My regular stylist couldnt fit me in for an unexpected event, so I decided to try Visible Changes Baybrook. I am pleasantly surprised that I got such a great cut from Alicia K., and she charges just a bit below what I pay my regular stylist. I really like my current stylist, but, hmmmmm.Oh, I understand there are two Alicias at this location. The one Im writing about is a pretty young blonde whos station is on the left side as you walk in.Edit; Alicia K. Is a new mom and as good moms do, shes cut back her hours to be a mom. I had my hair done by Horatio today, 9/9/21, cant sing his praises loud enough! I dont like cheating on Alicia K., but while shes being a good mom, Horatio will pick up the slack. I have zero complaints. 🙂

So I came in AND ms angie was my professional cutter. I had asked her to remove anywhere from 2 to 4 inches off and she did. She was very helpful in tips and management for dry frizzy hair . im also a curly top girl so I was asking her about masques and gels and shampoos etc. She helped me in finding a shampoo that was compatable to my hair type. She disclose that it was made from visible changes and its only found at their locations and web site as well. Luckily they had one in stock so I got it and they had an special promo of buy one and get one free. Which I took advantage of. Not sure when promo ends but I was in need for new styling creams and conditioners. Their store hours has. Been adjusted due to covid 19 and they are 11 to 7 nowadays. They keep with the mall hours as close as possible. They werent crowded when i got here and saw me right away when I got here at 11am sharp. I was screen at the door. I signed after I answered some questions about my symptoms or anything pertaining to covid which i was happy to provide. I appreciate them taking the time to make sure no one was risking exposure to me or their staff. I also wore a mask upon the entire visit and the staff as well. It was a clean environment and they quickly tidy up after I finished. My temperature was taken and normal but non invasive. I went ahead and left a tip for ms Angie in a seal envelope so she can collect it afterwards. Yes they still take tips and its appreciated. Im sure they can use our support during these trying times. Im also guessing if their hours were affected like most places during covid then it would be welcoming to help out when we can to our favorite patrons so they can stay afloat. Now some features they may not be performing so I would encourage anyone trying to come in to call first to sched an appointments. No walk INS. Also u must wash and dry ur hair before coming here. For their safety they try to minimize our time in there. Again I dont mind since I understood the steps to safe guarding their health. I believe the highlights maybe still performed but please ask first before assuming. Im not sure about balayage or Ombres or etc. Now ask about prices since again it depend on what service u need and is still around during these trying times. Also ask about the different stylist and level of their expertise. Each one is different so an stylist versus an director versus an student etc. Over all I had an wonderful time here and plan on coming back. Its refreshing to get out of house and talking with others. Thank u

Every time I go here I come home totally satisfied. I never regret making the choice to get my hair done at Visible Changes. Simon is the guy to see for your cut. Hes fun and super nice. And did an amazing job on my style. Kristen will not disappoint you with color! O went all red and my color is so beautiful and vibrant. Not too bright and not that awful red orange that happens sometimes. The perfect shade. I always get a great haircut at Visible Changes. Sky normally works on my hair but was booked up one evening, and I didnt prepare ahead of time. So although a little timid at first, I went to a new stylist. You know how youre always nervous about that? Well, I couldnt have had a better, more fun experience than what I had with Savannah! She gave me the smoothest fade in the universe. And, she was full of jokes! Honestly, she was more entertaining than the movie I went to right after!Visible changes is a great place to go to get looking your best. I highly recommend!

Vance Lee rescued me. My old stylist left the salon with out any warning to her old clients. Vance took me in and it has been heaven since. She is an excellent stylist and does wonderfully with my hair. Shes my stylist for life. If you are looking color I highly recommend Carly! She is tremendous !! The only colorist for me. I usually dont leave reviews, but I believe that if you are planning to dye your hair here, you should know that they are terrible at it so please dont go there. They might do good haircuts but hair dyes is a whole complete different level... I dyed my hair here of 1 shade of pink and they gave me 4 different shades, not to mention I wanted a light, soft pink and if they would have told me they couldnt do that shade of pink I would have gone to an actual professional, instead they made me believe they could actually do it and ended up giving me a bright neon pink, they didnt even ask me if it was okay with me, they just dyed it... it was terrible experience. So if you plan having your hair dyed please go to a professional, what they did I could have literally done it at home by myself. Thank you for your time.(to anyone reading this)

I recommend her!Sylvia has been my hair stylist for years. She is knowledgeable about hair and really listens to what you want but is also very honest about what looks good on you or not. I see Simon for my haircuts and Alyssa for my color.Simon is the best ever he listens to you and gives you exactly what you want. He educates you on your products and at home care. Alyssa is amazing at what she does all of her work is phenomenal! I would recommend them for anybody! (:

Im happy with my haircut but not the price I was charged. Went in for a $35 haircut and was charged $60! I was never told it would cost more so I was in shock when I went to pay. The stylist was wrong for taking it upon herself to do extra without notifying me of the upcharge. I never asked for anything extra or for styling tips or extra product in my hair. Then, she kept trying to make me buy products so she can get more commission. Very disappointing!!

Ive been going to this Visible Changes for ten years and have seen Christina every time. The atmosphere is awesome and Christina is the best stylist Ive ever had. Shes the only one Ive ever trusted to do whatever she wants to my hair and it always comes out amazing! Visible Changes has my business for life!
