Got great help before and now were back! Lisa helped us with some plumbing pieces we needed and offered great advice. This is how youre supposed to be treated at a hardware store! Unlike Home Depot and Lowes, they actually know everything works and goes together. That is why a small business is still successful across from their competitors. Go here!

What an amazing place. Went in for the first time yesterday and it brought me back to childhood. Going to the hardware store with dad or grandpa kind of feel. The service was top notch, with cleaver and helpful people behind the counter. This will now be my go to stop!

A lot of hardware packed into a small space. Generally plenty of staff, but the can be a wait during peak hours. Lots of oddball stuff, perfect if you own an older house. Located near the river park area, although most locals know it as Pinedale. They do a great job making keys, and most of the staff is experienced. Welding supplies and lots of tools.

Best hardware store Ive been to. Always helpful and knowledgeable when Ive got a weird situation. Been here many times and will keep coming back.

This place is a gold mine. Im partially disabled so I cant really use big box stores any more. I had an idea that would help me and asked about it. The guy had 40 years of experience at the store (thats how long Ive been going there). Walked me over to a bin pulled out exactly what I needed. Got it home worked perfectly. Ill just make this my first stop from now on.Oh, dont forget there selection of nuts and bolts SAE or Metric. Just show them what you want, they will have it.

My personal favorite hardware store. I love to shop local and support local. Plus I cant tell you how many times Ive gone to one of the other big hardware stores, and they say, sorry we dont have it, go check National Hardware!

This store has been around since 1959, I remember as a kid living in the neighborhood going in with my dad. They are very invested in there customers. Always a joy to shop and get questions answered. There inventory is massive for a small shop. So dont let the size full you. :-)

I called National Hardware while trying to track down a particular gate lock. Lisa went out of her way to search all of Fresno to find me this specific lock! She mailed it to me without up charging me and was so receptive to my request! If I were in Fresno this would be my hardware store for life after this interaction. A hardware store with a wide selection of every tool youd need for a handy job, and the supplies for the majority of the jobs Ive had to work on. Very patriotic (no surprise given the name). Ive been coming here for ~21 years and it has stayed very much the same: tools for every occasion.

I have been shopping at Natural Hardware since the middle 70s. It is a trip into the past, an old fashion hardware store. Lots of hard to find stuff. I needed a 4-ton, double pulley snatch block... ya... they had it. Plus a 90 inch Ridgit cast iron pipe wrench...climbing gear for towers and power poles, lots of metal and iron flat stock, specific one of a kind nuts and bolts.... weld-on hold downs... ya, they got it. They got stuff you dont even know your looking for yet.I read two reviews about a cranky older gentlemen behind the counter.... last time I was there.... I was told that he has retired. Nothing but nice, friendly counter people now.Parking is only on the street, on two sides.... but I have always found a place to park on the North side. So.... stop in and have a look. It is like stepping into the 50s.

This old style hardware store is a treasure. Their eclectic collection of useful and unique items can be the source for hard to find items. They often have a better slection of hardware than the big box stores and the staffs experience is top notch.

This place is a trip. Its totally old school. Nothing fancy smancy about them. But, boy oh boy, do they have all kinds of inventory that you wont find in the average hardware store. Tools, implements, hardware of all sorts..... The sort of place you should go visit, even if youre not looking for a specific item.

But, I have been very disappointed with their pricing. case in point, On 4-7-2018, I needed four 4 PVC caps for a project, Orchard Supply only had two in stock. Orchards price was $7.45 each. As said already, this place has everything you can think of. Sometimes they have even more than they know. I used to get REAL frustrated with different chain hardware stores all having pretty much the same things/sizes/types in stock. When you go to one big chain store and they dont have it dont go to the next big chain store, come here. Ive learned to come here first.

What a great store!. Its like going back in time to 40s or 50s. All they are missing is the potbelly stove and a cracker barrel. Dont take your significant other to the movies in River Park, take them here instead, it is far more interesting and enjoyable than the dribble produced by Hollywood. It has a wide range of tools, parts, and stuff (lots of stuff). If you cant find it ask the helpful and pleasant staff, most have been working there for years. The next time you leave you big box store disgusted by the staff (or lack there of) or quality of the no-named Chinese equivalent part come here instead, youll save yourself time and aggravation.
