Store is very dated... Prices are high... Produce is real skimpy, sale items are what draws me there and the fact that its real convenient

I went to Luckys with my granddaughter I hadnt been there for a few years. I was very pleased with the sales and fresh fruits

Bad experience today with this tall guy working at the self check out.i cancelled my items and just want to leave. Bad attitude of the store worker .I dont want to go back there, never again.

I love the convenient location but the prices here are very, very high. I have omitted purchases here even if Im inconvenienced by driving to a different store. I do agree with other reviews that the store seems to be somewhat dated. I recommend this store for quick purchases but not for all grocery needs.

Im not a fan of lucky. Its a depressing store, I had a difficult time finding what I needed. Luckys should close. It would be a good riddance. Kroger take over!!!!

The staff at Luckys are super positive and welcoming. I was in and out quickly plus they had my sugar free sparkling water! The people were so nice to me and the cashier was even polite as can be. I do enjoy the atmosphere and vibe of this Luckys

We have been shopping here for years. We support union workers for fair pay. They have drastically cut back on cashiers and what really kills me their own co workers dont care its a disgrace. They force u to use self checkout if this continues we will find other grocery stores who care about their employees and about themselves

This is one of the largest Lucky grocery stores that you will find. For those of us who are oldtimers in Fremont, we remember that it was a Gemco back in the 80s (anyone remember those?). Hence, its pretty huge. This store is clean and usually decently stocked with a good selection in every department - they even carry hard to find stuff like Tonys Chocolonely chocolate bars. These are the only chocolate bars on the planet to guarantee that they are child slave labor free...super delicious too! I like to go here when Im in that part of Fremont. Perhaps I should have given it 5 stars...I guess Im feeling extra picky today. We have one much closer to home but its dingy and often missing stuff.

I havent been in a Lucky store in years but grew up in Fremont and I was amazed how much it has stayed the same friendly local grocery store but has improved dramatically over the years. Great selection in everything and the vegetables are great.

This Lucky is doing a good job on keeping the checkout stands sanitized between customers. I have lived in the neighborhood for 24 years, from Luckys to Albertsons, and back again. Theres something to be said for a store that you could practically shop with your eyes closed.

I must commend the staff for exceptional service. Went to Lucky with a baby in a stroller to get a carton of water. I was lugging the carton of water in a bag at the cashier counter and the counter staff offered to help carry it to the car. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for the help. Am so glad excellent service from the heart exist.Another good tip: possible to get Dodge Ridge Ski pass from Lucky at a slight discount. Just go to the service desk.

I had a human to human experience, with one of the friendliest, honest, and loyal cashiers today. When people take time out of there day and talk about the love and loss in life. That’s the best 2 cashiers, today helped me.You can go to places that push you through the line or you get a great experience, and see people eye to eye, day in day out, but when they slow down to address your feelings and concerns and share and relate. Yes its a name brand but it becomes Mom and Pop store too, when you have such stand out people working in our Luckys neighborhood....Thank you more than you know...

Large selection of everything. Not crowded like most stores because it is so large. Good prices too.

I generally dont care for Luckys, but I will say this particular one is better than all the others Ive been to. It is cleaner, has more variety and the workers are very knowledgeable and nice.

My default branch is in Hayward but after coming here randomly (Fremont branch, across the street from BevMo) I never want to go back. Aisles are so much more spacious. Lights seem brighter, everything looks cleaner, they offer more products in general. Idk, maybe this Luckys is bad compared to some others, but for me, comparing it to the Hayward branch, its awesome.

I love this place. It has a good deli, bakery, butcher and even a small florist. Service is great they always smile while they ring you up.this particular one has been in this shopping center for more than 50 years. Its just sentimental too.

The store itself is huge with nice wide aisles. However, as I walked through the bakery department to get to the back of the store, I was asked for change by a panhandler. The selection of products in any department I stopped at was minimal. The cashiers were anything but friendly or courteous. With a Safeway about 3 blocks away, Lucky should just close this location.

Im at the one on Blacow and Mowry in Fremont California every day. Easy parking, spacious lanes, short lines, nice, happy, smiling cashiers, decent prices. Not always fully stocked. Cant always find Hungry-Man Country Fried Chicken that my Dad likes and Guitar World Magazine. Other wise A good place to shop

Prices are great. Love shopping here.But they have the worst public bathrooms Ive ever seen. Looks like a janitors washroom esp the sink.For a woman, u need ur purse close by. Theres nowhere to keep it close. Cant but it behind you, cant put it on the sink cause there is no counter top. Cant even put it above the toilet paper.There is a hook on the back of the door across the room. But thats no help. Even then, someone tall must have put it up there, its no good for short people.Ever since bathrooms went both gender, if u go in after some men, ull find pee on the toilet seat cause they dont pick it up. ☹

Clean store in for work staying at Best Western plus Garden Hotel. The cashier was very helpful and kind. Who ever was the young lady who worked the self checkout stands was awesome I was there about 4:16 4:20 p.m. on November 3rd so maybe you can check of who is running those robots there and give her a pat on her back she did great.

I love shopping here because everyone is friendly and helpful. Prices are good and their rewards program is very useful. They also have a wide variety of products. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because sometimes it gets crowded and theres not enough checkers so the lines get long.

Whenever I go to Lucky store on Mowry, I found that dairy products and meat products are about to expire or expired. I purchased 8 pieces fried chicken and chicken wings yesterday and chicken wings were like bricks due the sitting under the heat lamp and I think the employees dont really check the freshness and fried chicken were marginal. I ended up throwing the whole chicken wings and my family ate only parts of fried chicken. Also, I would like to mention that your meat and seafood area smell so bad always.

A place to shop in peace and quiet. I love it here. Prices aren’t too comparable but can you really put a price on quiet and short lines? I think not.

This Lucky is very clean and organized. I usually just buy the rotisserie chicken for dinner here since I prefer the Lucky brand because the chicken is always new and has a lot of sauce. Their staff is great and what I realized the most is that their carts are new and function very well unlike other places.

They need to make it easier to drive up to get refill water.🙂 Now whos bright idea was it to turn the signs around that tell you where everything is in the store to where youre standing in the middle of store and you want to look up to find something your totally lost you either got to walk to the front or to the back of the store to look at the signs this was a dumb idea I hope you guys change it

This particular location is always very well-maintained, clean, stocked and carries really good produce. Ample parking, safe lot even after dark.

HUGE, a little on the older side, and prices are a bit high, especially for organic produce...YIKES! Super close to my home, so extremely convenient- cant be that in a pinch. Staff is ok, but not the best. At least all the products are fresh and plentiful.

The store is old and the staff needs to be more customer service oriented. The parking lot is a haven for transients (homeless) but they are gross. Please watch your kids because they have triedto following my teenage daughter and son into a store and expose himself to them.

Pretty good standard go to for most grocery needs. Sometimes lacking in veg department, but I loved their baked goods and reasonable prices. Often have everything Im looking for.

Good place to make a quick stop for quick grocery list.

Just got signed up for there rewards program and it is cool! Every Friday then have something different free for rewards program people only. Yes it is absolutely free, no other purchase needed! They also have a thing called 5 at 5. Your get to choose five different or all the same specially marked items for only $5 each. I have gotten $10 items for only $5. And there are quite a few things to choose from and not unheard of stuff either, but name brand wanted stuff.

Gives good deals on certain days. If you have downloaded an app will come to know about it regularly. Staff is also ok. Overall good experience.

Great place to shop!!

Every so often I get an awesome, friendly employee but mostly they seem sad to work there. Stockers leave stacks of boxes in front of shelves so I cant reach what Im after. The scooters for disabled shoppers break down a lot, but not *completely*, theyre just stop in an aisle and wont start again for awhile. An employee told me corporate wants to wait until theyre completely non-functional before paying to replace them. Thats the beginning of the list.

I never have to wait in line. Its great that they have self check. Most of the employees are very friendly.

One of the better grocery stores on this side of Fremont, CA. Prices are often better than Safeway and Raleys. Quality better than FoodMaxx.Broad and brightly lit aisles and friendly staff. Butcher knowledgeable, nice guy. Making this my go-to grocery store.

Great customer service overall. I have been coming her for 15 years, when it was Albertson then. Since the new labor contract under Lucky produce are fresh, and you can pretty much get everything, all you need in one stop. Employees are all long timers. As I said, the last 4 years the customer service is getting better.

I want to love this place, but it is consistently just okay. Produce selection is alright, seafood section is a touch dodgy. Other than that it has all the things you might need. Not the worse store youll ever go in, but the staff arent really hoping youll stop in again either. When I was leaving they had the worst smell ever coming from the restroom area. People in line were complaining to which the cashier shrugged and gave a quick spray of air freshener hoping it would quiet the crowd.
