Not only have I waited more than an hour for my order, they also screwed up my signature taro soup that tastes terrible. And the portion is pitifully small. I understand they are super busy on a weekend night, but that’s not an execute to compromise your food quality for such an expensive dessert.
Unique way to enjoy dessert. Just takes more time to order due to the line of people.
Always a great place to have a dessert and not feel too bad about yourself afterwards. My girlfriend and I come here once a week to either get an Ube flavored treat or something with grass jelly. The desserts here are all going to be 12 bucks or more, and are more than enough sharing between two people if youve already ate dinner prior to coming. You can order two ways: online, in store on the tablet, and in store at the register. If you order online, you CANNOT dine in. Dine in orders are larger because they do not need to fit in a to go container. I prefer to order on the tablet and scan my member code from the app (PS the app is pretty garbage). You get points and save money in the long run for loyalty.Definitely one of my favorite spots in Fremont. Great AC, great food, and a clean store. Will continue to go!
. Their sign said theyre open until 12am. We walked in at 10:15pm. Their employees yell at us WERE CLOSE!!!. Well, good luck staying alive during this pandemic.. Theyre so many other places that are much better in food and service.
Reminds me of bingsu from Taiwan with more attention to aesthetics. Tastes great and service is above par, although there is minimal interaction with the staff from ordering your dishes on a self serve kiosk to bussing your own tables. 5/5 would recommend for a nice, cold, and refreshing summer treat.
I love this chain! Ive been to this chain when I was in China and so glad theyve expanded to the Bay Area. Grass jelly is a must have and the winter melon drink is also very good. The taro balls are better in a warm dessert but they still retain their soft, chewy texture in a cold dish. The fremont location is not as crazy as the Cupertino one so this location is highly recommended.
What happened to this business?I used to go there every weekend before the pandemic and the dessert used to be very generous and delicious. We went tonight and for our surprise the menu have changed... So we were Ok what that, ordered our favorite bowl and for our surprise the price went up from 7 to almost 10 with taxes, the portion was less than usual and the taro root was uncooked! Did it change owner? Not sure, but if it keeps going this way the business will go down.
Casher is super rude. Insult customers in Chinese.
Saw the offer for BOGO oolong milk tea w boba(need to like them on fb) so I got that along with the cold taro ball tofu pudding. Oolong milk tea w boba was bad. I didn’t like the tasteless tea + hard boba. The taro balls were also hard to chew and the tofu wasn’t really soft but still way better than the taro balls. Won’t recommend 🤷🏻♀️
Not the kind of Chinese dessert I am looking for. A bit overpriced too. However it is a good place to hang out with friends for a night.
Delicious dessert chain that was transplanted from Taiwan but has all the staples that made it famous over in Taiwan before they closed down. They have 2 ordering lines, 1 human and 1 automatic. Sadly they didnt refill the automated pagers which are required for ordering so we had to wait for the human line to process the order. Thankfully when we went around 10:30pm on Saturday, the line wasnt too long and we were also able to find a table immediately for 2. Be aware that it does get popular and it can be a short wait before finding a place to sit after getting the food.I would highly recommend ordering the grass jelly signature dessert. My favorite is the mini taro balls which are just delicious little fluffy and chewy pillows. Theyre not too sweet but the texture reminds me of a cross between jello and candy. The signature grass jelly ice is extremely unique and the highlight as its very light and combined with the cream, makes for a refreshing combo on a hot summer day.
Great place for comfort desserts. Used to go there a few time a week before the pandemic. Spent a good hour with a big bowl of shaved iced with generous mango toppings. It could cool me down in a hot summer afternoon.
First time there. Ordering was bit challenging but the cashier and the lady behind me were very helpful. I selected the boba drink that just came out...love it!
Poor service, the taro balls are very disgusting very hard to chew
Came here yesterday and although the app is a bit difficult to navigate, the desserts and drinks were so yummy! The staff was attentive and answered all our questions, especially Andrew! :) Great Meet Fresh store, I’ll definitely come again!
Clean. Loved the fruit bowl.
The store cant take your order with live cashier only kiosk. The menu was a bit confusing. The one the advertised on the queue line (matcha drink) was not available on the weekends. A bit frustrating experience.
Meet Fresh is such a wonderful treat every time we go. They have take out, but your can enjoy in the patio area. Desserts are always delicious. The kids enjoy it and is friendly with allergies. We were able to find something to eat for someone who has egg, dairy and milk allergies.
Tasty Taiwanese desserts (mostly in the form of sweet soup or shaved ice with toppings)/drinks sold here. The selection is wide and the quality is decent.
Very good service and a lot of very delicious boba milk tea. My favorite is the milk tea caramel with lichee and black pearl
I have to wait a long time to order because only one system is available to order
We can dine outside patios now. Deserts are still taste the same delicious before COVID-19. Highly recommended if you feel like getting some sweet Deserts.
Always a good spot to get my taiwanese dessert craving.Menu can be a bit confusing but its because they have a large assortment of choices
HORRIBLE. The service is soooo bad. They got my order wrong and even the sugar level! I ended up not finishing the drink, it was extremely sweet. It tasted horrible. I ordered a fresh milk w/oolong tea and I could not even taste the tea at all!!! I had high hopes for this place. My go to bubble tea shop is TeaTop- the cups are way bigger and their tea is much better.
Very good!
So far, i have only visited this location for my Postmates & DoorDash deliveries but i definitely want to go in for some personal experience soon.
This is a great late night dessert/hang out spot with really nice staff! I was able to call in to pre-order some desserts 15 minutes before closing. One of my favorites is their signature icy grass jelly and sesame balls...definitely a must try!
I love Meet Fresh in Taiwan (but theyve all closed down in Taiwan?), so I was very happy to see one open in Fremont! The first time I came here, I was sick so I got hot grass jelly with red bean, taro balls, kidney beans. I came here again to have their purple sticky rice drink with milk tea and I added red bean and mini taro balls. Their taro balls just taste like flour, theres not really any flavor. Its almost like boba but slightly differently chewy. The desserts are quite pricey too for the portions, as the grass jelly was $7.87 post-tax and the drink was $8.41 post-tax.
This location has grown in popularity since opening day. Seating is usually hard to find on busier times but the signature jelly and sweet milk tea is worth the wait. If you come in a group, grab a table as soon as you see people heading off!
Food is good but service is not as good as expected. I also pay at least 10% tips still need to clean my own tray. The front desk sense has no patience to answer my question.
A little pricy. Kind of sucks to go here during the summer. The shaved ice was completely melted when I ate it last time. When I went around November in colder weather it was much better. Still a bit pricy for what it is.. I do like how they close late. It is also a decent hangout spot. Plenty of tables. The place use to be very populated, but Im not sure how it is now.
The service was very good, but we were always have to look for a table. I would wish the owner should expand more spaces or tables.
If youre into Taiwanese desserts then Meet Fresh might be to your liking. Most items are made with some combination of glutinous rice/rice flour, beans, or fruit. Wish they had more chocolate items.
Great place to try something new and different if you like boba
Great food.We went there at 10:30 pm and waited in line for 15 minutes. Then we waited another 30 mins for food. I think it’s a bit slow.
I happened to be shopping around the corner at tj max and happened to find this place. I was excited to try it out since I saw signage for it at the Oakland Chinatown location. I got the shaved ice with lots of mochi bits. I waited in a long line and waited even longer for my dessert. It was okay, nothing that stood out. If you didn’t have any other place to go then it would be okay. It was also very noisy inside. I did however enjoy the self serve water and sink.
It’s so good! Every time my wife and I go to LA we get Meet Fresh. I’m glad they’re expanding their business all over California. We were in Fremont over the weekend and had to stop in here for some dessert. They didn’t disappoint. It’s just as good as any other location. I don’t know the name of the dessert we ordered but it was very delicious! Shaved ice, condensed milk, ice cream, a whole bunch of chewy things, jelly, etc. So gooooood!Someone wrote about the noise level here. Haha well blame your people. Asians talk loud! It’s a fact. Don’t like it? Then don’t come to this type of place. It’s not the restaurants fault.Meet Fresh has amazing desserts, plain and simple. Give it a try. I think you’ll like it.
Food is consistent, very tastyService is very poor and getting worse
Very good taro balls, grass jelly and shaved ice. Can have extra cups for sharing.
Always great service and amazing food! Just like Taiwan! (No lie, its just like Taiwan. )
Seating area and staff are the nicest part about this place. Their drinks and desserts are subpar at best and the self service machines UI are designed very poorly, making it hard to use for some.
Love the food but the wait is crazy. 40 mins wait for just packing a pre-made food! Totally under staff!!
Nnot bad, great place to eat woudnt recommend coming here again
Theres issues with their online ordering system during rush hour (8PM+ Friday - Sunday).I made an order at 8:30PM and got it at 10:20PM. Almost 2 hours to get tofu pudding with extra rice ballsWere supposed to get an email notification that our order is ready, but apparently they put it out, announced an online order and somebody just stole it. I say stole because if it was a mistaken grab, there wouldve been an extra order out for whoever mistakenly grabbed mine.Since it was grabbed, the workers didnt send a ready-order email. I dont blame the workers, rush hour is insanely busy right now since theres both indoor customers combined with a large amount of online orders. Theyre simply too busy trying to catch up.Chowbus also doesnt help since their ordering system doesnt seem to show add-ons. I added extra rice balls to my order, but the online receipt only shows the item. The only way I can prove that I have an add-on is to show the workers the pricing on the online ordering system and the receipts total. Im wondering if this is partly why the workers seem to regularly forget add-ons.Ill probably never bother with online orders from Friday - Sunday. Its just not worth waiting in-store for over an hour after the initial 45 minute wait time. I didnt get an email about my order being ready or that it was picked up, or that the order may be lost. I just dont think their online ordering system works with the returning indoor customer base. They forgot my add-ons to my tofu pudding again. Ive been coming here for the past 3 years, and theyve consistently forgotten additions lolPretty consistent Meet Fresh, glad I dont have to go to Cupertino to get Taiwanese desserts. They occasionally do a BOGO promo, last time it was the black sugar milk tea on Tuesdays. The tofu pudding and almond soup are my go-to. Throw in some taro rice balls and its a perfect treat to cleanse your palate after a heavy dinner. One thing to note is that this place can be crazy packed at 8PM during Friday and Saturday. Seems like a lot of families that finish dinner quickly move over here for a sweet treat right after.
Its always great to have a refreshing treats here.
Tasty but expensive...
Great drinks but go around noon as boba team is not ready at 11:00 AM
Ineffeient front cashing. Self order line was blocking the front enterance and nothing everything is available on the self order machine.
Just opened. Plenty of parking spaces and a short line compared to MF in Cupertino.Taro no4 + mini boba is my favorite. Old-time milk tea is a bit sweet, so 50% sweetness is recommended
Great Taiwan desert shop, a little bit pricy, price changed a little, should offer more sweet thing for customers.
Similar to the meet fresh in Cupertino. This one has less indoor seats.
Nice dessert, slow service. They are really understaffed.
Same as what I had at China and Taiwan. It’s good to have this dessert place at Bay Area now
Good stuff but very sweet.
Service gone down recently. They not polite.
It was very pleasant visit. Kiddos enjoyed it so much.
Much better than the Cupertino location. No wait when we went!
This place is less chaotic than the others meet fresh establishments. The quality is similar.
The shaved ice was not delicious enough to justify the 45 minute wait. Skip.
Place is nice bright and clean. Food is not bad.
Ineffeient front cashing. it takes almost 50 minutes to get the food.
Great service, delicious desert, very spacious place
Hope they are as good as Cupertino
Clean, comfortable setting and yummy dessert.
The signature grass jelly is the best dessert Ive ever eaten.
The food is really good
The tapioca is too tough and hard to chew
40 mins waiting is more than common on each Sat
Very low efficiency, and get wrong stuff after 50min wait
High expectations from many friends, family. Im not a fan. Too bland for me.
After ordering, long wait to get a simple drink
Mediocre everything
Great food, always has long lines though.
Large selection in all departments of the store and plenty of parking.
Train your staff and keep the environment clean! Staff could not answer customers questions effectively. Someone vomited in the restroom... so disgusting!
Reasonable, relatively small space for a hangout place
Great tofu Pudding
Yumm yumm
30 min for an order, bad service
Excellent food and staff!
Wait at least 1 hour here
Little portion and very pricy
