Took my iPhone 7 plus in for battery replacement. Easy enough repair and reasonable price the first visit. My phone never had a problem staying connected to my chargers before the visit. All of a sudden it doesn’t stay connected and I have to position it just right to charge. 2 or three weeks later it dies. I take it back and he charges me for a new charging port and supposedly another new battery. 120 the second time and 80 the first time. This guy just grins at you while stealing your money. I can’t prove he put the bad charging port in the first time, but I wasn’t born yesterday either. I used to work for a guy like this and he finally went out of business for ripping people off. Hopefully karma pays this guy a visit soon too!!!Update after the second visit. Now my phone is stuck on 4% and won’t charge. So he said he put a new battery in and now phone is glitching and won’t charge the “new” battery. I wonder what his excuse will be this time! This guy Omar is a low life crook!

Adequate service response. Cost on parts are higher than other service providers. Better than average on customer service: willing to stay late to complete repairs for that one day.

Called 8-9 repair stores before I called MW. MW guy, Omar is very friendly and his price is lowest to fix my two iPhone 10 LCD screens. Ive researched and prices elsewhere are much higher. Speedy service, very high quality and exceptional value. My phone looked new again. I strongly recommend this shop and Omars service.

I live in Fremont and I called around to get my iPhone 10 fixed. He was by far the cheapest price. He had my phone fixed in 15 minutes. I bought a case from him and he hooked me up with the screen protector for free. Awesome service this guy really knows how to treat his customers. ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rip off.......do not use this guy.......replaced battery on my phone back cover was not properly glued back on ...!!!!!!! I peeled it off with my finger..................WOULD NOT TAKE CREDIT CARD FOR PAYMENT...!!!!!.............BAD DEAL...!!!!!!

Repaired my 4 yr old Samsung Galaxy S8+.1-1/2 hrs after giving it to Omar, he returned my phone to me as good as new.

This place was the pitts! I went in for a simple screen repair that should have only taken 1 or 2 hours tops, but they kept my device for over two weeks telling me they had to order the parts. When I finally got in touch with a manager, he shifted the blame onto a new employee and promised to give me a discount for being patient. Well of course he had amnesia about the discount then charged me tax(15$) on top of the $75 repair. I would not recommend this repair shop to anyone.

3 months agoI paid $280 to get my iphone screen repaired here, walked out of the shop when it was finished (Aug 2020) and have had problems ever since. 50% of the time I cannot answer calls dues to the swipe button not aligning properly, screen would no even light up periodically, functions just seemed to shift. If i tried to touch a name to call, it would chose the name 3 names down from where I touch, etc. I called to see if I could have my screen replaced since I have had all of these issues and paid a pretty penny to fix them, they said they do no offer warranty and I am out of luck. BEWARE of SAM!!!! He said that i need to pay extra for warranty and his wrong replacement is not included in the warranty. He is a scammer

I thought this was a professional establishment until I had to come back a day later to get my phone fixed AGAIN because my phone experienced glitches and one of the workers by the name of SAM forgot to put back the screws on my phone which made my phone more susceptible to damage. During that time, after paying over $100 to fix my phone-screen I had to pay for ANOTHER screen protector to secure my phone a SECOND time even though I was not at fault for my phone needing repair. Believe it or not, my phone was still not working the same for the THIRD TIME, so I just decided to go to ORANGE PHONE CARE and they took care of everything for me and took the time to educate me on how my phone was poorly repaired; I have not had issues ever since. If SAM still works there, please do not waste your time or money. On top of that, he had poor customer service and did not take accountability for ANY of his actions.

Very bad service. I came to get my phone camera fixed, after the service phone not getting charged. I have to buy a new phone. Sam is being unethical and he tries to put blame on you. I asked him why my phone not getting charged and his answer was Its your phone. He didnt give the invoice, he gave me only receipt and said thats the invoice. He doesnt have a decency to show the fix that he made on phone to the customer. He just gave me the non working phone. Please do not go to this place at all.

I went there to have my cracked screen replaced and now have to buy a new phone. That was the only thing wrong with my phone. After the replacement, I could no longer hear unless I was on speaker phone. The owner SAM told me MULTIPLE times (over 5) that he would repair the damage and he never did either time. I repeatedly asked and was told he would fix it and never did. I am going to have to buy a new phone now so that was $140.00 wasted. He continuously gave me the run around promising he would repair it. It was a week ago. Im so mad about him repeatedly scheduling and not repairing than anything else. He wasted my time over and over again. I have never left a review before but I am stunned by how this has played out. So disappointed.A pro tip for everyone -- ALWAYS PAY WITH THE CREDIT CARD AT THIS STORE EVEN THOUGH HE REQUESTS CASH SO THAT YOU CAN DISPUTE THE TRANSACTION IF HE DAMAGES OR NOT REPAIRS YOUR PHONE PROPERLY.thanks

The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. SAM charged me 200 dollars and did not complete the job. So I asked them for partial refund, the guy with grey hair cursed at me and kicked me from his store. Sad!Go to the store at your own risk Sam is a liar

Absolutely awful. SAM sold me an iPhone 7 and said “it’s unlocked for any carrier” I put my SIM card in and 3 days later the phone is blacklisted as stolen.I tried to tell them it no longer worked and they didn’t refund or exchange it.No wonder they only allow payments in cash. If I had paid with credit or debit I’d be contacting my bank since they wouldn’t refund.Unfortunately paying with cash the bank can’t help, I think they know that.Do not buy anything from this store. Ever.

Horrible do not EVER come here to fix your phone. Brought my phone in to get the screen fixed and then I get my phone back and the screen is fixed but my phone doesnt charge. The phone was charging before I sent the phone in to get repaired. Then when I go back to get the issue resolved the owner of the store tried telling me my phone wouldnt charge this and that like if he was the one that owned the phone before the screen was cracked. One week after I got my phone repaired at their location it stopped working. I brought it here and was denied warranty because of a small scratch on my screen and they tried to charge $90 and the afghan with his generic name SAM charged me $105. This store changes their prices based on the customer (profiling) stay away  plenty of reputable shops on yelp and googleNot to mention these scam artists use generic after market screens to fix your expensive phones.

The best customer service ever! I dropped my phone, it went dead on me, I took it to 3 different repair shops, all 3 of those shops said “it can not be fixed, you need a new phone” but I needed all my data and pictures so it was important for me to get it fixed, luckily I found MW CELLPHONE REPAIR on google I gave them a call, they were very nice and very professional so I stopped by and dropped it off 2 days latter I got my phone and it was good as new. Got my screen replaced here a few months back and now it won’t respond to touches in the top and bottom of the screen.Did some googling (thought it could be an OS issue) and this is happening to iPhone users when they get their screens replaced by shops who source faulty, poor quality screens.Called up the shop and their warranty only lasts 30 days, which is shorter than most of the other stores in the area. They’ll give me a $15 discount off the $115 service, which isn’t worth it considering they use bad parts.Find a shop with a longer warranty and ask where they get their parts.The technician SAM is a big scammer

I had cracked the screen on my Nexus 6. For a couple of months, I frustratingly tried fixing it on my own… looking at how to take apart the phone, ordering a replacement screen, cell phone screwdrivers, and finally stripping the screws when trying to open up the back of the phone…! It was past due to get expert help.Visiting a couple of shops in the area, I found Sam at MW Cell Phone Repair. Talking with him, I could tell that he was very knowledgeable and could handle the hard job I was bringing. Given the condition, Sam could not guarantee a successful repair (like other shops), but we agreed on a good price for labor and I made the payment and dropped off my phone.Over the next few weeks, I called and spoke to Rahul many times. The LCD swap was not working for my phone, but he asked me to wait and that he would keep looking for another part/way to do the job. I could tell that he was trying hard and searching almost every day.In the end, my phone couldnt be repaired, so I went into the shop to pick it up. Sam was very kind to give me a partial refund, despite the original best-effort repair that I had agreed to and the countless hours they must have spent trying to fix my phone!I highly recommend Sam and Rahul at MW Cell Phone Repair! They really take work seriously and know their stuff.

Terrible service - sadly I cannot leave zero stars. I brought in an iPhone 7 that worked perfectly except for a cracked screen. MV repaired the screen but bent several interior connector clips and broke the proximity sensor so the phones speakers and front camera no longer worked. I brought the phone back but the owner was unable to figure out what was wrong with the phone and claimed he had done nothing wrong. I had to bring the phone to another repair shop where the technician stated, whoever opened up this phone sure was rough with it. This other store was able to repair the phone for a cost greater than the original screen repair. I asked MV Phone Repair for a refund but was told to take a long walk on a short pier.

I broke the screen on my phone and after reading some of the yelp reviews decided to try this place out. I was quoted $139.00 all in for the fix and 3-4 days for the part to be mailed with same day completion once the screen was in the shop. Although I have no idea what the service would be like, beware of the hours they are actually open. I have gone to check two days when they have been closed during hours when they were supposed to be open. Because my phone is broken and in their hands, I have no way of calling ahead of time to check if they are open and I have assumed I could rely on the hours posted on google.The morning I dropped my phone off he did not open his doors until after 10:30 which is over half an hour later than he was supposed to be open. He was not even a little bit apologetic at least but then yesterday morning when I went in to check if my phone was ready at 11am the store was closed (store hours are supposed to be 10am to 7pm). I returned at 6pm and it was still closed. I am unimpressed and concerned about getting my phone back.

I do not suggest this place. Both I and my roommate have taken phones in to be repaired and both times it was way overpriced and afterwards her phone didnt respond to touches properly and my screen was very loose, to the point that light was coming through the gaps around the sides.

Worst repair and fake low quality. I came here to replace my Google Nexus 6p screen, paid $160 and the screen was breaking into pieces just by touching the screen in just 1 month!. Every week piece by piece it used to break. This guys is worst. He replaces with low quality and charges premium for that. I shall never ever come to this shop. Not trust worthy.

I went to this guy for screen repair for I phone 6 plus .. he charged me $99 for changing the screen ...next day screen stopped working ... I went to him again so that he can fix it but he refused saying on the receipt it says no warranty on repairs ... I started screaming on me ... I think this guy generic SAM got some mental issues . This happens second time .. they use used parts for repairs thats why they dont give any warranties ...stay away from this shop
