Highly recommend tailgate motor to be your first stop when looking for a used vehicle. My husband and I worked with Brain and normally car shopping is the worst but Brian was so relaxing to work with. He got to know us and why we were looking for a mini van and unlike most car salesmen he actually showed us he cared and was very upfront with everything. ***BUYER BEWARE*** I made the mistake of buying a used 4Runner from TG Motors without doing a proper inspection. They seemed like honest, good guys and told me this car was in good condition. I knew I would have to do SOME work to get the vehicle up to par and felt that the price that I paid was an ok deal (4Runner’s are a little pricey to begin w, even 20 yo ones). However, I would not have expected to buy a vehicle that had a dangerously rusty frame (vehicle is for my 15 yo son), a tailpipe that was disconnected from the muffler, a CEL (check engine light) with a misfiring 6th cylinder; which must have been cleared before I test drove it and lastly I had to replace the front pads/rotors (my mechanic said they were dangerously worn).I gave the dealership a chance to rectify this, to no avail. Just a bunch of broken promises about, ‘I’ll talk to the owner and call you back’. Well, still waiting...I believe this is my first bad review ever, I do not make a habit of bashing places. However, I felt that anyone who reads this should ask to take whatever car they may purchase from them to an independent shop for a good look over or just don’t buy a car from them at all.I received an estimate from an outfit here in Omaha for $3000 ($1500/side) to repair the frame. Thanks TailGate Motors for the $7000 driveway ornament 😔

First off I want to say that this place was amazing! We are from North Carolina and my husband has been looking for a Dually truck for about a year. We purchased a used vehicle from here a few months ago. Acknowledging it is a risk buying a used vehicle, we were assured the vehicle was seen by their service center. Within a couple days of purchasing, we had issues with the vehicle and discovered two fuel injectors were bad and needed replaced. We were also informed our brakes were completely worn and also needed replaced. We contacted this dealership two times, each time we were told the owner would call us back. We never got a call back and were sent a small check in the mail as good faith for the repair costs we had incurred. The check covered 15% of the repairs.

First of all: my apologies to the staff at Tailgate Motors for not writing a review sooner! I had a great experience working with Andrew. When I pulled up he already had the car out and waiting. We went for a test drive and we had very haggling and we settled on a fair price. I am very happy with the staff and had a very good experience.

I work a lot of overtime building emergency equipment and when Im off work a lot of times many businesses are closed. I never once recieved a email or call back even to say currently a vehicle like I was wanting was scheduled to come in or we will keep an eye out. Long story short I ended up buying what I wanted outside of Fremont from Dillon Auto in Lincoln.

I purchased my 2011 Jeep Liberty from Tailgate Motor Co. a few months ago. I wanted a super cheap car payment and they worked with me even though it was difficult to make it happen. I received a resonable amount for my trade in and an amazing price on the Liberty. I have not, even months later, found one cheaper anywhere else that is equally equipped as mine. Said and done I was out the door with a 148 dollar car payment including a great warranty. As for the quality of the Liberty. I did have to put around 400 bucks into it to be completely road worthy. This was primarily catching up on maintenance stuff, coolant flush, brakes, and new shocks all the way around. I do my own work so not a big deal. The only safety issue I found was a prior mechanic, more likely owner, did not install the shim kit when changing the rear brakes. Easily fixed. It has since been on several multi state trips with no problems. Overall I would say these guys do a great job at finding quality inventory in a tough car market. Thank you Tailgate Motors.

I purchased a 2011 f250 from this company. Let me tell you that the service they provide and the attitude they have is fenominal. It was a great experience and they have done everything to help as well, even after the sale. It was pretty cold out when I got the truck so the A/C seemed to work fine. Well when it got hot out I then found out it didnt work. Took it to a certified ford shop and found out it was very expensive to fix. I called Tailgate and told them what was going on. It wasnt in any way their responsibility at this point to pay for anything as I had had the truck for over a month. Guess what!?!? THEY PAID AND HELPED ME OUT TREMENDOUSLY!!!! Honestly this is one of the best companies I have ever had to work with and they have my business for the future. Great job tailgate, you guys are amazing to purchase from!!!

We bought a salvage title car about 18 months ago from tailgate, we also purchased a warranty with it . This summer we had problems with the car and the warranty company kept denying a claim and wanted to cancel our policy because a box wasnt checked and a fee wasnt paid saying it was a salvage title car.Long story short I call tailgate and they called the warranty company got the Box checked, they paid the fees and our policy is still good. They also paid for the repair on the car. The guys at tailgate are awesome to work with
