I took my car to Toyota and was given a quote for $3,0059 to replace the head unit of my car. I took it to Paciifc Stereo and paid half the price! Pacific Stereo Freemont is a classic go to in the bay area when looking to fix up your ride with slap. The offer a wide range of options when deciding on the right setup for your vehicle. The cost is competitive for the work. They mostly specialize in JL audio and Pioneer audio (which is good because those are the best brands when it comes to subwoofers). Whether W6, W7 or Kicker L7 your guaranteed to leave the lot with your windows shaking off the hinges. The only negative is that this location is a little far from San Jose, 16 miles.

One of my boys for reasons that still make me mad decided to insert a quarter in my wifes 2013 Nissan Armada CD player. After my wife called dozen audio shops around and they informed her that they didnt repair or take apart original stereos, I knew it was time to take my wifes truck to Pacific Stereo. I had a and amp, speakers, and Alpine TV installed 3 years ago by Pacific and have never had an issue. Long story short the owner was great and gave me a $25 discount from his over the phone quote because I was a returning customer. He also gave me a great price on wireless headphones for the Alpine TV. So if you are looking for great prices and even better customer service go to Pacific Audio.

Great service. I would absolutely recommend Pacific Stereo Fremont. Moe is very customer focused and would do everything to satisfy you. They also have a very solid team of experienced engineers who take time to give you the best service. The engineer Ron was awesome! The owner janky blood, I paid for alpine system to be install into my car with a 12 inch woofer and 5 channel amp. I had to take my car back twice and was suppose to take it back a third time but I said forget it. My car audio sound like it’s stock. The dash speakers in he put into my car started popping the second day of them being used. He lied and said he replaced them when I brought it to them to the second time. He charged me $1,500. A rip off for the fact I didn’t get what I paid for!!!

I was doing my own installation to my sons Toyota car and needed a good quality reasonable price indash head unit. I walked in to store for some questions and suggestions and the store manager named Monther helped me on all my inquiries and guide me on how to do the installation and what I needed. He matches online prices and sold me for the same price as Amazon and I finally bought a Pioneer indash. He was extremely helpful to me. Thanks Monther.

Worst place I ever went to first owner try to overprice me on the radio that I was getting for my dad‘s new truck I got him for Father’s Day then he lower the price I had My Wife wait to get it installed I went back to work these con artist try to get her for more money saying that my back camera didn’t work and was trying to charge me an extra $80 I got on the phone and was mad mysteriously the camera started working worse place ever these guys are a joke do not recommend

Very friendly staff and fast service. The two front speakers in my car gave out so went in for a diagnostic. Turned out speakers were dead, got them replaced right then, 30 min total in and out. Very happy with the new speakers and have nothing but good things to say about the customer service and value for your money. Will come again the next time I have the need. Thank you!

Had my Rv done here. I had to leave to go to Sacramento they installed 2 door speakers and a radio in a very efficient amount of time would recommend. Nice staff

I’ve been meaning to post this for a while but I am just now getting around to it. Sorry for the delay. In August we bought two headrest DVD players and a new touch screen radio system. The guys here are real “car salesman” kind of people. Everything is way overpriced and they talk badly about competitors to make themselves look better. Honestly I am very disappointed with the quality of the merchandise as well as the service of the job and the transaction experience. I should have gone with my gut but I didn’t and now I’m paying for it. Please do your research before coming here so you know what’s reasonable and don’t get ripped off like me. They also did a horrible job in the car. There is a chunk of dashboard missing where they wedged their tool in to take out the manufacturers radio and there is a hairline crack all the way to the airbags. Like I said very disappointed with the quality of the merchandise and the labor. I would never step foot into this place again.

This is now a late post, but it’s better late than never. I wanted to add bluetooth or aux cord to my car. My car has the original stereo & I wanted to keep it that way. At the time, my fuse was out and I did know about that part. All along they could have been ethical and said “hey your fuse is out, you can fix that & connect a FM transmitter and it will do the trick.” FM transmitters range from $10-$20!!! Instead, they took advantage that I was driving a newer car and showed up with no experience. They decided to charge me $250.00 for a FM system which took about 3 hours, took off my back seats, and ran the cord under the car. That same day, I was disappointed the aux card was really short and it was coming out near the gear shifts. The next day I went back and wanted everything to be fixed & changed w/ Bluetooth. I told them I was not satisfied with the service. Someone else did it and the station has to be on 91.2. Every time I switch the station it makes a static sound. Every time I turn off my car, my car makes a static sound. Overall, please do not come here. The prices are high, they will market the conversation for you to fall. I am disappointed that they weren’t honest from the beginning, consequently building a bad reputation. #SorryNotSorry

Zero is a pretty high rating to give them. I have been to this shop several times now. The first time I came to this shop I had bought a number of things, including a full install. I regretted ever letting them touch my car, because they did not put a single screw back into any of my interior panels. This resulted in my car gradually falling apart. As if thats NOT enough, they tried to let me drive home across the bay with no headlights in the pitch dark, after they had blown my fuse. I told them that I am not driving home and getting a ticket again for no headlights, and they basically grumbled, complained and fixed the problem. After this experience I thought I would never come back, until the other week when I was getting prices for electronic items. The shop owner had said to come in with my prices for them to match, which I did again. This time when I entered the shop owned told me that the prices I had been given by other stereo shops were fake. I was extremely insulted that he was telling me MY REAL PRICES WERE FAKE. SO immediately I left the shop because he was giving me higher end alpine prices. Thanks screwing me over again

Absolutely superb place to get your automotive electronics: stereo, alarms, hands-free, etc. Ive done business there for 7 years now and never had anything but excellent experience. Im in fact quite puzzled by the negative reviews. For me, they have never broken or disabled anything on several different vehicles that Ive taken to them.The shop is not made to impress visually; kind of a casual array of not well-displayed products. But the knowledge and service, quality and pricing are what you go there for, not the ambiance.Highly recommended.

These guys know a lot regarding stereo, speakers and automobile back up sensor, etc. I believe this shop has been around at least 22 years. The price is very reasonable and sales guys are friendly & highly recommended to friends and family. Ask for Mo and/or Jamie.

Horrible service.. I dont recommend anyone going to this shop. People working at this shop were super rude and did not have any value for the time. One of the workers was eating fries while demanding more money just because we requested them to finish the labor in the time they promised. One of the most disrespecting people ever... I had 5 TVs installed in my new car and a viper alarm, also did good but they were a little messy I had to clean my car a little afterward but other than that Im pleased, oh yeah I also had my windows retinted here they look better now than before.

Worst place to get music done in California. First of, their speakers and subs are overpriced for what they are. The guy that took care of us boasted about matching Amazon prizes. When he saw Amazon prices her quickly reversed that statement. I spent probably around close to $600 on a system and a custom 12 sub box for my chevy avalanche. They said it would need to be made. The guy that makes the boxes was in this day, they said my box would be ready Monday. Monday came and went still no box. I bought another stereo for a friend because I thought the situation was being handled, Big mistake. I was told that to make it right they would be getting me a custom box their guy makes for $600. I asked, when would it be ready. only to be told to call back. I called back the next day. Then the bull started again. The owner, or who I think is the owner told me it would be there by Thursday. That was also a lie because the next day I get a call from the person who sold me the system. He tells me that he could order a new box but it would take 2 more weeks. At that point I was done. I returned the equipment. The owner behind the desk tried to tell me that usually returns only get store credit. I am done with this place. I would avoid them at all costs. Two of cousins and their morther brought their cars her for the install. Now their car battery dies.

Horrible. Very rude and over charged tried to give me 12ft when I only wanted 6 they wanted to charge me for 12 but I said no they gave it to me for the price of 6 I measured it and it wasnt even close to 12ft. Worst stereo store I been to in the whole bay area.

Great and inexpensive place to change your stereo. My old stereo broke and my mate suggested this place because the owner is a nice guy and he had it done for about a hundred bucks. I went to Pacific with a mercedez Benz 2000 e320, and the total cost was about six hundred dollars because they have to rewire the Amp. The owner was nice and gave me discount price of $389 for the whole thing, which is less than $598 quote IGot elsewhere.There was an issue that the framing wont fit in my car, and the mechanic build a frame for me. The cost of the frame was suppose to be $170, but the owner waiver the fee because he feel it wont be right to charge it.The stereo worked very well, owner threw in a mic for Bluetooth for free so I can make phone calls using Bluetooth. The stereo was preset for max bass, which is a great touch. Definitely will return, highly recommended.

I took my dads truck here two weeks ago to replace the stereo for a video display for his birthday since the stereo in the truck was broken so Ron worked on my truck and he did a great job my dad loved it when I surprised him with it. The stereo works great I would definitely come here again.

These Guys Are Rip Off!I went there just to get my stereo installed and they quoted me for $80. After Finishing installation when i checked my car it was missing all my speakers.They told me they were already missing! I was surprised that the thief who stole my stereo and broke my dashboard did such a clean job in installing back the panels on doors after jacking my speakers. it was just out of my comprehension I was astonished.I agreed to get the new speakers on the spot with installation they quoted me for $300. While installing the speakers another guy handed me my old speakers and said they were just blown Out!!I didnt wanted to start argument, They Ripped me off good! Covered Up there own mistake!I wish I wouldve just gone to Best Buy or Frys!They Did a very crappy job on installation too. My Stereo makes squeaking sound while i drive and they put they Mic very far away instead of putting it on the sun visor.I would never go back to this placed!!Mo Foes!!

Went here to get a an estimate for installation of a stereo system and all they could ask was how much we want to spend. They made it clear that all they cared about was money. When he saw we had a Mercedes, he started spitting out all these outrageous prices. At the same time we were getting our so called estimate we had a couple of guys coming into the store complaining about what was sold to them. I know this store gets A LOT of business because I drive by it everyday and can see it from the freeway and they have been at this location for a very long time. I would never step foot into this store ever again. I wouldnt spend my hard-earned money at a place like this. Got a great stereo system at Stereo Town from a WONDERFUL person name ZACH!

Was met by a gentleman who seemed rather abrasive from the get go. Asked for a quote regarding a minor cover for our home theater system, and was told Id be charged by the hour (3 hours in all), to fabricate one. I am a auto paint tech by profession myself, and know that it wouldnt and shouldnt take more than an hour to make. Unfortunately, Ive just moved here from Europe and dont have the tools or the space yet to make it myself. But anyway, I just thought it was rather steep to ask for 3 hours @$125/hr. Have decided to invest in a saw and stapler, and have ordered the speaker mesh cloth on amazon instead. Total cost yet is $35.. 😄

I always go to pacific stereo i did sound sistem on my dodge now i have problems with my light direccions yesterday i had my honda 2004 put tint window coupe and they charge me like a big truck plus taxes like super hi he said no taxes charge. If u ask me this person is a RAT .RATA u trust them then they f@$!# u up RAT they said one price$$ sounds beautiful but when there done with your car ooo we have to do this and that and bang they charge like $$$$$$ no way i would never come back please read this keep in mind all this shead they do be careful

I tried to get my stereo wires fixed. He said itd be $85 I said no and he lowered it to $45 if its easy. I said Id think about the offer and he walked away without saying anything.

One time i went to the store to get my stereo check out because i had disconnected the battery from the car and after I plug it back in together the stereo was not sounding good so I took it to the shop and I ask for some help and the guy told me that my ears were used to it and I had to upgrade my subwoofer so I dont have extra money to buy a new subwoofer and when I told my one of my friends about my problem he looked at my stereo and notice that everything was turned down after he had turned it up and tune the radio it was sounding great i just know not to trust those people anymore

I bought from then a flip down t.v. 2 amps and a kicker speaker. They installed it on my Tahoe. When I picked it up from there shop I heard a sound throughout my speakers. I called them they said they fixed it. And every time I called they said that theyre busy. I spend $ 1700 for a BAD SERVICE. DONT GO THERE

About 5 months ago these people instald an alarm for me and some other things, the sales guy told me that if my alarm ever needed to get reprogramed i could always go back for free reprogram. Well yesturday i did and they tryde to charge $40 for pressing a single button. They suck!!!!!
