Great place to find all your sewing projects; although even with their discounted fabrics its still a bit pricey compared to fabrics r us in sa jose. To their credit they do have a bit more color options than their competitor. For cosplayers looking for Eva foam they have a good variety here as well. My only complaint would have to be the lady that cut my fabrics. I asked her if the fabrics were already discounted since there were signs posted. She replied if the signs says they are then they are ill find out when I scan it with a snappy reply. After scanning the fabrics she gave me the fabrics and the price and said take this to the registers and pay for it. No thanks or have a nice day. She just went back to talking to her other female colleague. The cashier on the other hand was pleasant and asked if I found everything I needed and told me thanks for shopping at. Joanns.

Because of my photo booth business, Im constantly buying props, craft and background materials from places like Joann Fabrics. Today, was exceptionally a good experience because of the cashier attendant that helped me find what I was looking for. Of course, she could not leave her post at the cashier terminals but she was very knowledgeable of the store, products and their exact location. Outside, I noticed they have a dedicated curbside parking stall now too. Absolutely pleasant experience shopping at Joanns. I highly recommend a visit.

I found everything I needed in 15 minutes. I did a quick run just for basics..spools of thread, sewing needles and pins. Friendly employees, excellent service and excellent selection.

Good store. A lot of fabrics and materials for needlework. I was looking for a large roll of padding polyester filler. Searched on Amazon. There I did not find the size I needed. And in this store I found what I need. It helps a lot when you can touch and choose what you want. I am very glad that I found such a store for myself.

I am new at sewing, and the person behind the counter showed me how to measure what size, etc. that was needed for each project.He was great!

I was needful of several pieces of Christmas fabric and caught some great post Christmas markdowns along with a great in-house sale. It seems I can never walk away with just what I came for, because the oh so helpful staff pointed out other items to help me with my project. It was not crowded and a good shopping experience.

Came around 10:20a at the fabric cutting desk, when team lead or manager could treat their employee nicer. As a customer, it can be unsettling watching or listening to a manager speak in a condescending tone while coordinating a break between two co-workers. I understand adhering to strict guidelines in public service can be stressful, but it’s more reason to be respectful to each other

Under normal circumstances, this store is outside my demographics circle and my usual type of store to visit. But that said, I have, oddly enough, found good reason to visit when I needed something like banting material or some other kind of paint or some other material that lends itself to the kind of things you get at a craft store. And if thats your need, this location seems to be very well stocked and has a decent number of people to provide help. I know its very popular with a number of friends who are into more hobbyist craft pursuits.

Huge Joanns! So many more items than my local one!! Although less of the specific fabric I wanted I still left with enough to make me happy. I also had one of the best check-out experiences I’ve ever had with their salesman, I wish I could remember his name but he is awesome and made me smile. He also took his time and care with my fragile items and alerted me to damage I had missed on another item. A+ for him!

This store is AMAZING!! Its HUGE, very clean well stocked. Their fabric section has some outstanding fabrics, some Ive never seen. Who ever is their buyer has an outstanding eye for detail and colors!! Every kind of craft is represented in this store, their customer service is fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable. Fantastic store worth the drive from Castro Valley to Fremont and will be a customer from now on!👍

I love this store! I go there for crafting items of all sorts. They have a wide variety of items to choose from. They also have great sales along with great coupons. I have the app. So I get emails notifying me that they are available for me. Im also on their mailing list which also has coupons. I prefer this store over the leading craft store.

Its always fun to shop here for sewing, gift and craft items. The store is usually neat and clean and you can get a good deal with their coupons and sales.

I came to buy a tool for beading. They have a lock device so, I needed help. I asked the clerk why they were locked?? They only cost about $10. When she took mine down, the 3 behind it were gone! Maybe they should put a staple in the sides of the package. The staff was friendly and helpful

Just dont go there close to their closing time, its a little crazy during that period of time. Long line to cut fabric, long line to check out, and dont expect any customer service. I think better buy online and pick up in store.

The store is clean and well organized. They have a large selection of many sewing and craft projects, and they often have sales on fun mdse. Staff is usually very helpful. My most recent experience with a cashier was less than stellar though when I made multiple purchases and he responded whatever floats your boat. It was kind of off-putting. I felt kind of judged.

Good sewing and craft supplies. They have a little of everything, and great selection on a few things. I dislike their loyalty coupon system. Why cant they just offer slightly lower prices all the time rather than making such a game of trying not to get cheated?

If you need kids crafts or flannel and fleece, this is the place to be. My experience looking for quality fabrics to sew my wardrobe has been getting worse in the years Ive lived in Fremont, and now even finding most of the notions I might want is impossible. I have found this to be consistent even after submitting responses to surveys after my visits to the store.

Nice fabric and crafts store. Staff is friendly and courteous. Always willing to help. They will remind you at the cashier if there is a coupon available through their app. The lines at the cutting table can get long even with 3 people working. Prices are reasonable.

This is a great place for crafty people to get ideas. The staff is pleasant and helpful. They offer classes to teach all ages and skill levels. They are definitely not just a fabric store!

I love that this store is so large. I feel like the items are priced high, because they have so many sales & coupons. Some items I will not buy at the regular prices, but I will, when they are on sale. Unfortunately, the quality of fabric tends to be shabby, which is sad, as there are very few places to buy fabric, anymore.

This is one of the largest and nicest Jo-Ann Fabrics and Crafts anywhere. If Jo-Ann sells it, they have it here, and they probably have a lot of options for whatever it is youre looking for.Budget a LOT of extra time for fabric cutting and checkout if youre here in the evening or on the weekend. Always check the website for coupons first.FYI, they have a limited selection of fine arts supplies. Their focus is on crafts. If youre looking for student-level oil paints and that sort of thing, Michaels is the chain store youre looking for. University Art (a small local chain) is your best bet for top-quality art supplies.

This store has a wide variety merchandise for crafting and has alot of great decor. They have alot of good sales and markdowns and coupons help Everytime I buy something. Good customer service and the store is very clean and well stocked.

This place is like a Michaels with fabric. They have different type of fabrics. Went here to get materials to make a star trek uniform. Staff at the fabric counter are very knowledgeable. Lots of times here to create something. Lots of parking. Expect to be there for at least an hour or more when shopping for fabric. Prices are decent and not to expensive.

Okay Im a customer service knob. Im the first to admit it and Im super big on customer service I dont care what type of business you have. However I went into this establishment on one day and the sales associate was less than helpful. I dont do less than helpful. Unfortunately they have products that I need so I just changed the place that I go to for that. I dont usually frequent the same Jo-Anns Fabric if I have an issue. But customer service who always be improved upon

The service is horrific, the lines are long, nobody seems to be able to think for themselves, and their phone line is disconnected. I would not come back here unless it was an emergency.

My wife loves Jo-Ann, but this store is not up to par. Its always dirty, the décor is dated, and they dont carry much inventory- theres never more than 3-4 of anything. They have great prices though, you wont be disappointed there.

I go here all the time and my only complaint is they only have one cashier working and the line is ALWAYS long. They will call for help, but sometimes it takes the backup cashier forever to show up. There have been times I walk in and out cause the line is so long and I just go to Michaels cause I know they will have more cashiers working. Otherwise the store is organized, clean & items are in stock.

Lots of fun seasonal stuff. Huge clearance section with great prices on home decor. Fabricd variety was unbelievable along with all.

My wifes favorite store

I went to buy copic markers and which were put in the locked section. I went to staff asked them for help, got a worker to open it for me, however their attitude was not what I wanted. I felt rushed and after they grabbed the marker which I didn’t ask for they suddenly grabbed all the rest of my items and dashed to the cash register. I went to tell them they got the wrong one, but they were already at the register and they was others in line which pressured me. Also, I still wasn’t done and wanted to browse....BUT NOPE. At checkout, I bought only two items, and they total was just.....I was dumbstruck. It was so expensive and I feel like I truly got ripped off. Luckily they have a return policy, but after that horrid experience, I’m never going there again. I would suggest to go to Micheal’s where they give discounts and coupons every visit and where there staff are actually welcoming.

Its one of the bigger Joanns store, with good collection of fabrics and art supplies.

Good selection of fabrics, limited selection of buttons and other notions, signage is small and hard to locate. Overall the staff are friendly and helpful. In general the store is a bit cluttered and in need of a good deep-cleaning. Prices are a bit on the high side for the quality.
