Been singing about this place since I was a kid! Great to stop by and grab a couple beers. Wasn’t able to stay for the show as I had to be back in San Antonio for a trade-show early the next morning. Great recommendation on beer and just a relaxed place with friendly people

Came here this past weekend to get some drinks and food and just have a good time hanging out with my motorcycle friends. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed the vibe we got from this place. The owner of the town or city even greeted us by the entrance! Well that’s at least what my friends told me! They had these huge trash bins that we could play beer pong with and that was fun! There was a live concert going on too for amazing music in the background!

Huge Thumbs up for this little tourist town! Definitely a must go and see! Just a hop skip and a jump from Fredericksburg TX. Luckenbach is a small town full of stages for local bands and their music. Check out the world famous old historic Luckenbach Post Office, now a novelty store full of relics and souvenirs and dont forget to grab your favorite beer from the bar in the back. Lots of shaded picnic tables for seating. Mosey on down to the creek across the old bridge to see the grand daddy of all cypress trees and one of the largest live oak trees seen around. For a relaxing day or an evening full of vendors and music. Head on over to Luckenbach Texas! Huge Thumbs Up!

What an experience...we had heard the song for many years, found it on the Texas map, got directions from my phone GPS (but not the trucks GPS)....so headed there in the beautiful Hill Country to see Luckenbach!! It is a veritable ghost town, once we found it on the loop road, with a saloon, outhouse, Post Office and searing areas. When we checked the city online, it shows a population of 13, up from 3 about 20 years earlier. It was a fun adventure and we sang the song while there like we do in every city/song place....Abilene, Amarillo, Memphis, etc. Have fun in Luckenbach if you can find it!!

If you havent been to this little Texas town, you should put it on you bucket list. Though any time is a good time to visit this town, I have a fee recommendations. First and foremost, if you can actually avoid summer months, you would be wise to do so. Check their website for events and live performers, as this will greatly increase your enjoyment. Go in the late afternoon. Be ready to enjoy yourself and have fun!

It was a shame that some customer while we were enjoying the live music at Luckenbach, decided to leave a HE LOST note on my friends car, because I had bought her a Trump ride on sticker.Id love to have had a beer with whoever did that to hear your point of view, rather than you taking offense to someone else having a different opinion.

First time visiting historic Luckenbach and it didn’t disappoint! The area is so pretty and cute and the people were so friendly. Despite Covid lockdowns there was plenty to see and do in the area and they still do live music daily. Even if it’s just a day trip - it’s well worth the (relatively) short drive to get out of the city and check it out.

We got to pet the cats at the general store and picked up a harmonica for our son, which he loved. On to teaching the next generation about this not so hidden southern gem.
