My mom and I went to see the optometrist in this location but the receptionist was not gracious. We were late because we couldn’t find a closer parking. My mom has arthritis and needs assistance. We had to walk far, so I explained the reason to the receptionist but she refused to take us in because she said it’s almost their lunch time.. she said…’maybe next time you should leave early from your house.’ (And by the way, when we arrived we had to wait for the receptionist because she was talking on the phone). Because she did not accommodate us, my mom and I left and I called my husband right away. My husband called them and the receptionist said, they have a 10-minute grace period and definitely not more than 15 minutes. WE WERE late for only 10 minutes and she was not gracious. She even said to my husband that there was a language barrier between her and me of which my husband refuted. I felt my mom and I were racially discriminated at that time.

I am so thankful for the WONDERFUL staff here at the vision center in Walmart in Central Park. I’m traveling though and my contact ripped in the car and I needed a new one ASAP! I came in, the staff was so nice and so helpful! They were happy to have my vision center at home fax them my prescription and then they were able to fill my prescription and give me the contacts I needed within 10 minutes. Simply amazing - I even hugged them all! I definitely would recommend - there still are nice people in this world! So thankful!!

The side you order your contacts an glasses are fine. But the side for exams. This was my last year going there. Very unsanitary. Jus plain dirty. I paid my co payment. Once the doctor got me in chair. Saw I needed strong contacts. Sent me back out to desk to pay more money. Before finishing eye exam. Wanted make sure they got money first an foremost. She would not look me in my face to tell me. I have cataracts. Stood behind me at her desk ! No. I won’t go back. An going to encourage my family not to either ...

Great place. Good price and very grateful with Marilu, she knows her work very well and has vocation. She took her time to get to know me and know the models I be comfortable . Thank

Only attempted to use Optometrist, so cant comment on Glass and Vision store front itself. Was given misinformation from front desk, paid the requested fee, charged was as a debit instead of credit card as requested, then appointment was interrupted by Dr after exam had already began and I was sent back to front, given different cost and asked to pay more to continue. At that point, I asked for a refund, was given handwritten refund slip as computers were down, still havent received refund to my card and cannot dispute with Visa as they submitted it as debit against my request. Was kind of glad to be leaving as I had been observing the unclean floors, walls, and ceilings, and just general mess etc during my short visit, and was definitely questioning my choice of Drs. Will definitely not return, not even to purchase glasses and contacts front store front. Dr was not professional at all. I cannot believe such an unscrupulous, unsanitary place is supported by Walmart.

I called trying to price some contact lenses, and the customer service was probably the worst it’s been. Ashley who answered the phone was very rude and super unhelpful, it seems to be the norm amongst the employees at this location. Don’t waste your time.

The eye doctor is very informative, very personable. The staff is great. I came in on Doctor’s lunch time as a walk-in and he seen me. If I can rate more than five stars I would. 😊

I dont give many reviews unless a place is exceedingly awesome or just plain horrible. I had to come here and give my most honest opinion. Within the course of a year of coming to this office I found myself most impressed with the services I received not only for myself but also my 5 year old son. The glasses ship quicker than most other places and the people have what seems to be love for what they do. I can recall leaving feeling like so much grace was given to me that I cried. You dont go many places that you walk in frustrated about life and leave with gratitude because of the care shown in a matter of minutes. Im thankful for this place and I highly recommend it.

I have a very horrible experience to this optometrist Dr. Tran. First i took my kids(5 and 6y/o) there for eye check up since the school needs it and the pediatrician as well. As we are preparing for the eye exam she is in a hurry to do everything and she didn’t even take her time to fully assess their eyesights. I Told her she was rushing to do this test and told me that she needs to go because she has a appointment. She handed me the prescription and shock to see that my kids eyesight are not normal under her examination. I took my kids to a Eye specialist the following week and I was surprised to know that it was normal. This Optometrist is misdiagnosing and i would be scared to go back there again. Secondly i went there for eye check up on my own. It’s the same thing very bad experience. I will not definetly recommend this place.

Everyone was always really helpful and friendly, even when my kids became bored and rambunctious both when ordering and when picking up and sizing. Have not had a bad experience with them now or when my husband used them either.

Amended to reflect the great care and attention of the vision center of Walmart. I recommend them for all vision needs. However, I would highly recommend not going to the optometrist office, separate from the vision center.

The customer service is extraordinary, and the staff are highly professional. Marilu was very kind and pacient. Based on her recommendations as an Optician she help me choose the correct and more convenient lens and frame among the vast variety in the store.

If I could put zero stars I would shame Walmart name is attached to the optometrist who works there! Very unprofessional! Unhealthy ! No hand washing or cleaning equipment between customers ! Staff rude and dis honest to customers! Warning!! Stay away from this optometrist “ Diana Tran”. Save your vision. Go somewhere else for a true professional exam!!!!

Pathetic customer service... the actual eyeglass part is very nice, but the vision center and the doctor and employees on the other side are a joke! Starting with my glasses, I was given a prescription and I felt like it was to strong, called and told them.. and she made me feel like an idiot over it. Then I go to get contacts pay the fee, was misinformed on the amount of time I had for the discount to come back to get fitted. So, when I came back I had to pay extra... get my first pair, I told her before I even left that my right eye was off and blurry. Instead of fixing the problem then she told me when she gives me the RX after the trial she would write it correctly.. Obviously since the strength wasn’t write, I couldn’t even wear them? So I went back and got a different strength “the correct one” and a different brand. The second pair was great, except that they gave me a poking sensation on the outer corners of my eyes like they didn’t fit them properly. When I called the front desk lady tried to tell me “maybe contacts aernt for me..” and that I’ve already tried two pairs there isn’t anything else left... then proceeded to tell me if I was to try a different pair, that they don’t have a rep, so I would have to wait until the end of the week and she would do her best.. honestly, the customer service provided by her was poor, she made me feel like I was a burden and that she couldn’t provide me with a solution, just a bunch of excuses why it wouldn’t work.. the place is ridiculous honestly. If I hadn’t already paid almost 100 for the trial visit I would take my business elsewhere. I can promise you, I will not be going back!

Probably the worst experience I have ever had. The receptionist was outstanding but over tasked for a busy office. The doctor was horrible. Diana Tran spent less then 2 minutes with me and then said I needed two pair of glasses even though I told her the lenses she wanted to give me were blurry. She was in a hurry and not listening to my concerns. When I tried telling her she said your 42 what do you expect. I told her I expect her to listen and demanded a refund.

Please take your business elsewhere. I have never felt more of an item rather than a human in my life experience with doctors. The whole process felt very rushed, and very assembly line like. The optometrist rushed through my exam and gave me a prescription and when testing it with the contacts, i couldnt see. i felt very crossed eyed. She also NEVER addressed my eye pressure which was recorded as high prior to my exam. I had to be the one to bring it up and she waved it away as if it was nothing to be concerned about! She also claimed i had a lazy eye, which i was never made aware of in my entire life. Then was heavily persuading me to purchase special contact lenses, which costed a fortune. When i said i still couldnt see well enough she said it was good enough and sent me out. $114 later, i still couldnt see and my doctor didnt seem to care much. I ended up getting a second opinion and came to find out, not only do i not have a lazy eye but my prescription was COMPLETELY WRONG. It is obvious the optometrist here doesnt care about anything other than making money, so please find another doctor who will genuinely care for your concerns and asset you correctly.

I did a walk in appt. On July 27th. When I arrived The Optometrist, Diana Tran was interviewing a possible candidate for the front desk. While I filled out my paperwork she continues to do the interview in the waiting room. After a very akward exam where she giggled the whole time I did not feel very confident in the exam results. I went into the Vision Center afterwards and there were several associates and no one waited on me after 10 minutes of browsing the selection I decided to get another eye exam before I spent $400 on glasses. Glad I did...had an exam at another location, not Walmart and it is no where near the prescription I was given. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Please don’t get your eye exam there. I’m not kidding when I say, my daughter was asked by the doctor to flip her own lenses during her exam as the doctor filled out paperwork. Needless say her prescription is completely off.

The Dr. Rushed the entire exam and my script is all wrong, when I returned to tell her I feltIt needed tweeking, the Dr was extremely rude.I walked out very upset with no resolve!But I will say Ron In the vision center was very helpful when picking out my frames and tried to help me after the Dr next door was horrible.Please do not get your exam there

The manager Ron is amazing at his job and always helped pick out the perfect glasses for my husband. Have been going here for years !

Great selection on frames and lenses, and fantastic prices.

Do not go to use vision center in Walmart. They don’t like to help you out after making mistakes. They close without warning. They cause my child not to have her contacts for a long time by a simple mistake and didn’t even offer to speed up redilivery on their mistake. Only to say sorry about your problem.

Just got new glasses and love them, Im so glad I took their advice and got the no line bifocals. They also always call me to let me know when my sons contacts are on sale!

The lady who was serving in vision center was very rude and arrogant... she didnot wanted to get up from her chair and help me, she was just making faces sitting over there as if I have disturbed her by coming to get glasses, I had a 4 month old baby with me who was crying and she was even irritated by that... will never recommend anyone to come in this vision center of Walmart where employee dont want to help customers....

Do not order from here. I called and ordered my contacts, gave them my credit card info over the phone only to go in to pick up the contacts and have them tell me theres no record of me purchasing my contacts. Receptionist was very rude as well.

The service of Marilu Carrasquillo was an excellent one, she is very kind, she was very attentive to me and my family, I looked for the eyeglass according to my taste and type of face. Highly recommended, very professional and knowledge in what it does. You can tell he likes what he does.
