I brought my mothers vehicle here, after it overheated on us, while traveling from out-of-state. Firestone was the only local shop available to perform a diagnostic check on the weekend, and while I am grateful they were available, I am highly disappointed at their attempts to swindle as much money as possible out of a couple of women they most likely perceived to be traveling alone and unfamiliar with the ins and outs of auto mechanics.When they called me a few hours later and quoted me $1900 in repairs, I informed them I would be having the vehicle towed to the local dealership, so that they could take care of the repairs under warranty.Firestone claimed that there was a crack in the radiator, a leak in the water pump, and that the fan belt had stopped working, the latter being what had probably started this whole mess, which was a little peculiar considering we detected no leaks before, during, or after the car overheated, and it had just been serviced by the dealership two days prior. I paid Firestone their diagnostic fee and let the local dealership handle it from there.On Monday, I received a call from the local dealership, who informed me that the cooling fan assembly had failed and would need to be replaced. They detected zero leaks and found no cracks whatsoever. Their service coordinator filed the warranty claim, informed me that everything was covered, and we picked the vehicle up the following weekend. We drove it another five hours back home with no issues.If you are looking for a reputable repair shop, who isnt going to try take you for every dime and dollar, I would suggest not taking your vehicle to Firestone.

Dropped my car off for brake service, tire rotation and balance, and a front end alignment. Prior to getting this work my car was pulling to the left and was hard to keep in the lane consistently. I was told the alignment was done properly as well as the other services, but now my tires are completely unleveled with one tire at 48 pounds and one at 52 for a small Chevy Malibu!!! Ny car is now also pulling the opposite way as before, I’ve given this place a second chance as I had a bad experience before but this is the last time I’ll take my car there, I’ll pay dealership prices before I put my car in their hands again.

The but experienced in service do not go to this tall I arrived with good spectators but I came out very bad service 1 does not specify when it will be your next service. 2 accelerated the car like it was a quarter mile 3 the lady is always in bad host would have to look for another job better 4 the only good thing the Hispanic who works with them is very kind and patient

BEWARE of The Great Oil Scam of February/March 2021! I’ve now seen twice in the last week that they have drained every drop of oil then claim it came in like that! I was able to prove through Firestone that one just had an oil change 2,000 miles ago and the other my kids just checked the levels 2 weeks ago and it had too much! I fear how many people they successfully scammed?!I’ve had good and bad experiences at this location. I’ve used Firestone in 4 states to take care of my vehicles over the last 20 years. Overall, I still recommend them, just be aware of your vehicle and it’s needs and schedules. As to SEE before repairs are done, they will be glad to show you.This has been reported to corporate and I will update as necessary.

This is my usual go to place for motorcycle inspections as they usually get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, on this visit they were out of stickers so we couldnt do business.

I had freon added to my car in addition to a Schroeder valves and recharge done on my car. Jay did a great job explaining to me what was needed and handled it with ease.

Excellent service! On our way home we discovered a large screw in our tire. It was 6:45pm but we took a chance and stopped here hoping that they could still fit us in. The attendant was so kind and agreed to help us pulling our car into the bay immediately and fixing the puncture for free. Thank you Firestone for easing our minds and for your excellent customer service.

I used Car Advise to schedule my appointment for a Conventional Oil Change for $22 including tax. I get to the shop, and they put Full Synthetic oil in my truck. They wanted to charge me $55 for their mistake. I was told to make sure I put conventional oil on the envelope when I dropped it off in the drop box. They should have read the order notes for my appointment and saw conventional oil. On the receipt it even says “Order Notes: Conventional Oil Change”. I will never work with Car Advise or this Firestone again.

This shop is always friendly and knowledgeable. They try their best to get you in and out ASAP.

I was driving on the freeway and my car starting shaking. I was 3 hours away from my home. I exited off and landed at this location. So thankful for it! I was greeted by Joey and he helped me claim down. He quickly got me a quote for a diagnostic review. The other employee help my 3 year old find the toy box in the waiting area. Eric, explained the issues with my car and told me he would have it fixed in less than 30 minutes. The waiting area was comfortable and clean, the toy box was great for m 3 year old, bathrooms were clean. over all great experience. Thanks so very much for help my daughter and I get back on the road and home safely.

Cant recommend Firestone enough. Been to multiple locations. All of them have been above board with service and quality work. Not pushy when offering/recommending other services. Will be going back when needed. The warranties are top notch, too. All things excellent. Dont hesitate to go.

Kinda of pricey for the tires but the customer service was great.

Called to ask could I come in for service. A male voice said you can drop off and will be done by today. As I paused to think he said “ooook” with an attitude. I asked how long is the wait he said “ bout 2-3 hrs ok !” And I said ok ok thanks and he hung up quickly.I felt as if it seemed like I was bothering him !

After going to another Tires Plus at 4632 Mime RD, 5 times over a few months to repair/replace the same brake pads and rotors; over and over again. They never got it right! In fact, every time we went there it got worse and worse. Then we called Richmond and talked to Paul, Thank God! He sent us to Joey in Fredericksburg, 2708 Fall Hill Ave and it was like we had instantly moved from darkness to light. Expertise in knowledge, skills and abilities. Impeccable Customer Service and even had a great sense of humor. Most important he did the right things right the very first time. He turns our agony of defeat and real tears into worry free joy! I had a bad tire about to blow on my Buick Verrano. Told me it would be a two hour wait. I said I was in a rush to get to a doctors appointment. And they had me done and riding in 30 min. Wont go anywhere else for tires thier service is top notch. Love that place

Called yesterday around noon to ask for a quote to replace 2 bushings on our car. The gal who answered the phone was new and asked if she could call me back so she can double check with the mechanics, never heard back from her. Called again this morning at 8:30 am to ask the same question and the gentleman said he had a few customers to take care of real quick but promised to call me back in 1 hour, 2 hours tops. 2 hours go by and I call back and the gal who answered took my info and said she would check with the guys and called me back, I politely said With all due respect, Id rather wait on hold as Ive been told Id get a call back and I havent yet she said she has other customers to take care of and would call me back. To her credit, she did call back. She told me that they cannot just replace the $40 bushing, they would need to replace the entire $800 trailing arm. My boyfriend is very mechanically savy, however, he just doesnt have the time to take care of this. Shame on them for attempting to grossly upcharge the cost of the repair I need. I will unfortunately be taking my business elsewhere.

I do not recommend this location AT ALL!!!!!! Customer service is horrible. We had a 1:00pm appt and they told us an hour and half. We went to another store while we waited and for an hour came back and our car had not even been touched or taken back to be worked on. No one called us or anything to tell us they were behind nor did they mention it when we checked in. Bad customer service from the employee to the manager. We will not be coming back and do not recommend this location!

I didnt have an appointment. My car wouldnt start. Luckily, it was at the gas station right next door to Firestone. The amazing people at Firestone took time out of their busy afternoon, first to jumpstart my car and then to inspect it and replace its battery. They even had it ready in a hurry so I could pick it up after work. Thank you, Firestone! You really saved me.

I have been going to this location for years and knock on wood have never had a bad experience. The work has always been excellent with no issues. Price is better than any other shop in the area. Customer service is outstanding. The job I had done yesterday was going to be high dollar. Other shops quoted me $1200, $900 etc. Firestone had me out the door for less than $700. Highly recommend.

OK, either I had an unusually great experience here or the bad reviews I see got unlucky. No matter, heres my experience. I was in for warranty work. Things could have started a bit smoother, but I must say that Joey who was manager on duty handled things beautifully. My service was completed ahead of schedule and all arrangements were handled professionally and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this place based on my experience on June 7, 2017.

Joey was amazing from the time I walked into the store until I picked up my vehicle. He listened to all my concerns and called to inform me of the things that needed to be addressed immediately. Best experience Ive never felt so comfortable taking my vehicle somewhere when it came to cost and my vehicle being in good hands.

It was Sunday November 3rd 2019 when all of the sudden, I lost my left headlight and my rear brake light, so I found Firestone close by since others are either closed or working on a very limited schedule. The agent didn’t want to service my car since the shop was overwhelmingly busy according to him, I only saw three cars, yet, after I urged him to help me out, he agreed to replace the light bulbs. After 10 mins he came back and he told me that they discovered five light bulbs out, he quoted me around $120 for changing 5 light bulbs. I was shocked by the price and his unorthodox techniques. I am very familiar with his approach, yet, I had no other choice, I had to fix the lighting, unfortunately, I am disabled and I can’t do it. While I was waiting, I called two other places and I asked them for a quick quota over the phone and they both were almost 50% less than Firestone. They both asserted they will not be able to take me in either Sunday or Monday. They were very busy. The car was done in 22 mins and the bill was around $120. On my way out, I stopped next door at Advanced Auto Parts, I asked them about the five light bulbs and how much it costs, for all 5 bulbs, I was quoted the price of $33.55...I am NOT GOING TO TELL YOU DONT GO TO FIRESTONE; I am only saying Firestone knew how to synchronize my auto problems, my dire need to fix my car and above all they will took advantage of the circumstances. The salesman demeanor was great with wonderful attitude, yet he overcharged me by far 50% more than others. There is no workmanship or talent about changing light bulbs, all mechanics have to take the old light bulb and replace it with new one. A good mechanic will go above and beyond normal service and conduct a quick electrical diagnostic on the car, yet, Firestone never took the extra step and never offered . For five light bulbs to go out all of the sudden at the same time something had to happen, Obviously, I am not a mechanic, yet, Firestone didn’t care and they didn’t want to bother with any extras. Additionally, I counted five mechanics working in the bays. I only saw 3 cars in the bays. I will leave the final comments to you guys, don’t take my word for it, go to Firestone and experience it for yourself, however, please be aware you’ll be OVERCHARGED And the staff will be super nice to you...Unfortunately, I am NOT GOING BACK THERE, EVEN THOUGH I NEED TO PERFORM LOTS OF REPAIRS ON MY CAR, BUT I WILL FIND ANOTHER DECENT PLACE TO DEAL WITH...Last but not least, I had no one to warn me when I went to Firestone, now, I am warning you, THEY WILL BE SUPER NICE TO YOU BUT IT WILL COME AT A VERY HIGH PRICE...

I was out of town and at 4:48, realized that my battery had died. I called Firestone and spoke with Russell. He agreed to wait for me and replace the battery. I was due a discount because I was a Geico town-in and they searched to ensure I was getting the very best deal. Not sure if the battery will fix the problem, but I am so thankful for the Firestone team staying late to help!!!

I greatly appreciate the honesty and the service I received, particularly from this Firestone Tire and Auto. I have been to a lot of auto care shops in Fredericksburg and Northern Virginia, but this one honestly cares that I am a college student and am in a very limited budget. They dont pressure you to do anything. When you want pricing, they give you pricing. The area I am not a big fan of but pricing and honesty hands down the best. I am willing to travel 1 hour even after I graduate to go to this Firestone.

This shop does the maintenance on my car. They do good work and make recommendations as needed. I would give them 5 stars however I always have to clean the greasy handprints from my door every time I go...

Firestone has taken very good care of us for almost 2 decades now. Especially Joey . He has never led us wrong. Very highly recommended.

Took my vehicle in for an oil change and tire rotation. The receipt said the tire rotation was done when I picked the car up. The vehicle has the security device on one of each of the wheels lug nuts that you need the adapter to before you can remove it. That adapter was hidden. I completely forgot about the lug nut lock when dropping the car off. When confronted they did admit that the technician lied about rotating the tires. Cannot trust these folks.

We had an issue with our car after these guys worked on it. Even tho the work they did was almost two months prior to the incident, and they could have easily denied any responsibility, these guys were totally professional and took care of us. The reimbursed us for the tow, the repair, the car I had to rent during the incident, and even some parts that had been damaged. They didnt *have* to do all that, but they did, and they did it with efficiency and professionalism. Firestone has won a new life-customer. Well done!

I usually do my own work but, since I had more money than time in this instance, I took my car in to Firestone to change the front pads. Told I needed 4 new rotors because the rear rotors were rusty. The car has rear drums. Also, the front rotors and rear drum assemblies were smooth as silk and not warped. Beware of unnecessary up-charges.

Firestone is my go to place for tires. Joey is the best I have ever seen - remembers my name when I come back six months later for work on my vehicle, knows the tires I like and they dont try to identify a bunch of additional work to do on my truck. Recently, I had gone to a dealer for routine maintenance and they gave me a list of $1700 worth of work that needed to be done to my truck. I declined the work and took the truck to Firestone for a second opinion. They saw a few things wrong, but to the tune of $300. Again, they do not try to tell you a bunch of stuff is wrong just to make you pay more. I appreciate that. I also like their tires - the Dueller AT REVO 2 tires have been perfect for my truck and I have bought two sets already from Firestone. Now, I am waiting for the call from Joey to get my REVO 3 tires put on when they come in stock!

I bought new tires and with in 10 mins, one of the tires started losing air. I would think a new tire would stay good at least for a month. The technician was telling me there might have been an issue with the valve or something. I am just saying a new tire leaking air in 10 mins is not a good service.

Firestone is my favorite place to stop for tires. Some of the guys even remember you after a few times and look up your account right away. I have had tires done here 5 times in the last four years for my vehicles, a lot of routine maintenance, inspection discrepancies. These guys will tell you what is wrong without jacking up the price. Highly recommend them.

It was a very smooth transaction. The tire that I ordered were no longer available, so the manager upgraded me to the next tire up in price. Fantastic customer service.

Claims they can perform oil changes on foreign made cars. Expert technician found that was a LIE! Left with oil leak TWICE. After believing the car was the problem, only to find out they were not putting proper seals in place! Don’t fall for it!

Oil change yesterday. Only one person working the front area. I had to wait 15 mins to pay once my vehicle was ready. 15 boring minutes. Nice people but you really need to hire an extra person. 15 boring minutes, I’ll never get those back.

Appointments mean nothing here. I made a 11AM appointment to get 4 new tires on my 2011 Toyota Tacoma. They didnt pull the truck into the bay until 11:45. Cost about $650 and took 2 hours. I paid for TPMS calibration, but apparently they didnt do it right because the tire pressure dash light came on minutes after I drove away. Asked me three times if I wanted a Firestone card, which got annoying. Waiting area was cold. Wont be going to Firestone again.

I was in and out in less then 30 minutes for 2 new tires.

Really poor. Dropped my car for a safety inspection, 3 hours later and no word from them. I told the lady at the counter I needed it by 2pm, that won’t be an issue I was told. In the end I went to another place and picked up the car. Would not ever go there again. Some of the lowest customer service I’ve ever received. Will not go there ever again.

I asked them to balance tires and change oil. They messed up the tire balance by having weights on the inside and outside of the rim. The Truck has expensive Mag wheels, weights are always glued to the inside, since I had the truck.They first said - I didn’t request weights on the inside of the rims, when I then noticed they had weights on the inside and outside they changed their story yet again. What happened is they never removed the old weights on the inside of the rim and placed apposing weights on the outside rim of the tire.

First time we went here it was a smooth experience and got new tires, no issues . The second time we went to get tires on another vehicle they tried to tell multiple things were wrong with my vehicle. However, I never asked them to check my car. I only wanted new tires. I felt like they were trying to scam me.

This shop did the job well and took care of my ride to make sure I was safe on the road. Thank you for the quick service on such short notice!

The Firestone Store at Fall Hill gave me the best service, at the best price, of any tire dealer, in the area. I called Russell Pacifico at the Fall Hill store. He was able to price 2 new tires, at a price that was $65.00 lower, than all the competition. I am very happy with my experience at the Firestone Store. I would highly recommend dealing with either: Russell Pacifico or Joey Staats, at the Fall Hill Firestone Store. They are both courteous and professional.

Waited an hour and a half for a state inspection, fine, first Monday of the month. Then get the license plate light bulb is broken and needs to be repaired for $14 additional. Maybe it was, but it probably wasnt and who wants to wait another 2+ hours for a re-inspection? Not me.

Every time Ive gone here they have been professional with my automobiles and the service has been quick. Some service places try to push or guilt you into services such as lifetime alignments or fluid flushes, this place isnt like that at all! This is my preferred place to have inspections and tire installs done on my automobiles.

Brought my car to get my head light changed. The mechanics removed my bumper off my car for no reason and took them 4 hours to change the head light. They didnt attach the bumper back to my car property. Went back to get my bumper re-attached. The manager told me he couldnt do it and that I had to take my car to a car body shop and that FireStone might pay for it. The manager didnt not take my complain seriously. Dont take your care there you will regret it!

They suck. I brought them brand new oil and filter for my 2015 Mazda3 and they said it was against company policy to use it. My ass, more like its against company policy to not rip you off on the markup of the oil and filter they use.

Dont bother making an appointment, they dont stick to their schedule regardless. Took 2 and a half hours to complete an alignment past my appointment time which I showed up for 30 minutes in advance. Good for tires, horrible for service. Will never come back for service

Very professional if not friendly when I showed up just before closing on a Sunday. A very busy place. Josh said hed be in first thing Monday morning to repair my seized brake caliper. It wasnt cheap but by 10 AM Monday morning I was on my way.

Horrible. Although I could have changed the rotors and brakes myself, I chose to get them professionally repaired and save my time. Big mistake as my multiple visits for the replaced brakes/rotors accomplished neither. I wasted two weekends bringing the vehicle back for sticking brakes that you could smell by driving less than a mile. The second time I had the original repair fixed, I was told it would only take an hour and a half, so i waited. Two hours later, i was told it would be anther 2 1/2 hours. When i explained how disappointed i was, the service manager argued that he was just a frustrated because he is personally losing money every time i returned for the same repair. As i sit here and wait, I am completely flabbergasted at the service and regretful i didnt make the repairs myself.

We made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 2pm on 8/2/14 for the following day. We arrived at 2pm on 8/3/14 and handed in our keys. This individual did not ask where our vehicle was located in the parking lot. We waited until 2:50pm and decided to go to another business to have our oil change done. This same Firestone also ordered the wrong tires for us in the past. When I make an appointment, I expect the customer service to be provided close to the appointment time. We will not be returning to this place for future business.

Such nice guys! I locked my keys in my car and they were nice enough to help me out.

Good price on my tires and the customer service the first day was good, but after some problems with their equipment the people in the facility were not very forth coming with information and the technition did not have enough ambation to wipe the tires down after installing them on my truck. This is not unsual for workers now a days they just dont care what people think about where they work. Like I said the first day the gentleman at the desk was very helpful.

Worst auto care shop I have ever been to. Was completely disrespected by the mechanics, who also did not do any of the work I asked. I gave them a full list of the problems my car was having, along with instructions to diagnose and drive the car. Well, their definition of diagnosis is to scan the computer for codes, but not drive it. However, computer scanning for codes is free...so im completely confused. They stated my Head Gasket Valve was leaking oil everywhere, but refused to take me back and show me due to safety reasons. They broke my AC knob, rolled their eyes when I maturely and respectfully questioned them for clarification on their list of issues my car had, as anyone should. One last thing. They stated I needed full brake replacements. However, they charged me for that one month prior. This firestone is a complete joke. Seemed to think because I was a woman, I didnt understand. I had to have my father come in talk to them (which as soon as he did, their attitudes changed). Extremely sexist and rude.

They are one of the best shops around here, and they have good pricing.

Call to say my inner tie rod ends had a little too much play for va state inspection quoted me $400 on parts i just had installed. Then failed me for rear suspension and windshield when i said id go elsewhere with my busniess... then to top it off the desk lady had some smart imploite remarks. To top it all off THEY LEFT MY CAR OUTSIDE UNLOCKED WITH MY KEYS IN THE IGNITION. I WILL BOYCOTT THESE PEOPLE

I had 2 seperate cars in one weekend at firestone. I must say the service was excellent. The staff is willing to give you professional advice which lets me know that my car is in good hands. Technician joey in particular was excellent. He kep me updated on the status of the work i was getting done he he always spoke with excitement which makes all the difference so he was great.
