Just getting emissions done, but the staff greeted me warmly. I was given a fairly accurate waiting time. Free refrigerated water was offered to me while I waited. Overall great experience, with the emissions staff member wishing me a great drive and a great day as I left. Well done!

We were on a trip back to Florida when I had an electrical issue in the ignition. I was able to get to a pet friendly hotel. I called express auto service. They were so nice as well as helpful. They said to have it towed to them. By noon the next day they had me on the road. It was very reasonable and fast. I recommend them to any one.

Used to be a loyal customer of das garage. Recently Andy left and quality of service dropped immensely. Stopped in today to Express auto with no appointment and was able to get my wifes car serviced as well as my car state inspected in about 2 hours. Everyone at this location, starting with Vicki were amazing. I will continue to make Express Auto my go to shop for all my auto needs. Highly recommended.

We LOVE these guys! Always helpful, when something is wrong with our car instead of fixing it and charging us for it, they talk to you 1st and give you cheaper option, of you decide to go through them then they will get right on it, if you decide to go another route they are OK with that too. They are honest and really care about helping even thrown in a few freebies for us over our years of going to them. Keep in mind parts and labor are going to cost no matter where you go but the service, hospitality, caring nature, and personalized service they offer you cant get everywhere (to me a few more dollars to know you will be treated with the utmost care and honesty, is well worth it)

They are sweet & kind, do state inspections on the weekends...I was in & out in 10-15 minutes. They even have a garden area to wait, as well as inside & several other places. This place is such a scam, took my car in for an inspection, was quoted $1200 for work that only cost me $220 to fix elsewhere. Went back for reinspection within 15 day time frame and they failed it for a different item not noticed on the 1st inspection?!?!? So here’s the 3 scenarios: they are either scamming me to get every last dollar; they told me the wrong part to fix and just tried to cover by saying they didn’t notice it was broken last time; or the inspector missed it because he wasn’t able to correctly complete his job duties. This is a licensed company with a state licensed inspector and I’m being told they missed it last time. I bet if I would have paid the $1200 they quoted my car would have a valid inspection sticker right now and they never would’ve even noticed the thing they say is supposedly broken now. Keep up the great work guys smh.

Came in for a state inspection which my car failed because of a light out. While I was discussing this with the service manager one of the techs started yelling at me and literally charged out of the garage threatening me! This tech had to be literally held back by the manager when I wasn’t even dealing with this person as he wasn’t the one working on my car. This place is awful and I would honestly go someplace with more professional people!

Staright forward and honest. Everything that was wrong with my car was explained to me in detail which really helps when deciding on repairs. They dont try to scam you and theres even a window in the waiting area where you can watch your car get worked on. The name speaks for itself because work that would of taken all day got done in a few hours. They only cared about what was convenient for me. They are very honest about the hard work they do and they move quick. Best place in town to go if you need a major job done. I needed my front cv axles replaced. They wanted $1100.00 When I checked online the parts were 800 and considering the amount of time and effort they spent the 300 dollar cost for labor was a discount. They got it done in only a few hours. They deserved more considering the effort and difficulty. Thank you express auto!!!

We consider ourselves regular customers of express auto. Each time we go to get our car serviced it’s returned fully repaired. I’m very happy with the car service we receive. However the reason for 4 stars is the extensive wait times. Last time I was there I was told my oil change will be only 45 minutes. I waited 2 hours, with no follow up. I had to follow up with the front desk myself. Situations like this has happened often. Customer service and accurate wait times need to be better.

Quick and for an oil change/inspection and emissions was only $94 cheaper than most places

I took our spare car for an inspection and they failed it on a few things. A few legitimate small items that I would of happily paid to have fixed to keep from taking it home, making the repairs myself, and going back for reinspection. They also failed me on an inner tie rod, which is not necessarily an expensive repair, but requires realignment so it ends up not being cheap.As soon as I got home I raised the vehicle and checked the tie rods. They were tight. The boots intact and not cracked. I had them reinspect it, and the manager checked and agreed. It was an honest mistake. The wheel did have some play, but it wasnt the tie rod and was within tolerance.

I got an oil change and state inspection in a hour! Ive waited longer at the dealership for just an oil change before. I was very happy they were so quick and the cost was lower than I expected! They added air to my tires and were nice enough to vacuum out the front of my car, which meant so much to me! very unexpected and very kind! Ive been raving about it all day!

I brought my car to Express this morning for diagnostics. The results were not good and Im at an unfortunate point in my life but these guys were so awesome. Very kind and honest. Will be going back for anything else I need, for sure. Thank you!!!

How do you completely forget to service a car when the keys were handed to you? And why would you say it was done on the phone when you didnt ever work on the vehicle in the first place? Makes no sense. The place is nice, but it is expensive and Im not sure you get what you pay for. Plus, completely forgetting to service a vehicle and not realize it is a pretty big oversight.

Failed my ntrucks emissionswith no 8dea where it was leaking from, but strongly suggested I allow them to run their diagnostic tests on it...(for a ridiculously added fee) Took truck to a different inspection station....PASSED EMISSIONS AND STATE INSPECTION WITH 0 ISSUES! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

This place is a joke. Just like someone else said They prey on women and/or those that they think dont know much about cars. I went in to get state inspection done and they tried to get me for suspension control arm bushing this and that. My advice is Dont go there!Oh, btw, just got the job done @ Jacobs Garage on Rt1 for a fraction of the price

I called in with some issues going on with my older model van and I got an appointment for the next day they called me back said they had availability today got all of the issues fixed on my van and got me out of there in no time I will absolutely a million percent come back to this place I was in search of a good mechanic and I absolutely found it you guys are the best thanks to all of you the entire staff was super friendly and super helpful definitely use this place

I want folks to know that Express Auto acts with integrity.I took my car for inspection. It needed new rear breaks ($600). My car is old and probably worth less than the repair cost. My wife and I were thinking about buying a minivan to replace it anyway. So, I told them to fail the inspection while we decided what to do.As we started to drive away, the brakes didn’t feel right, so I went back.They took a look and noticed their tech had accidentally poked something that caused a problem. They replaced the rear brakes for free. Then the car passed inspection.

Ive used this auto service center for over 7 years. They always deliver stellar service and Ive never had to take my vehicle back to fix any mistakes. Theyre quick and efficient and dont give you false info on what needs to be fixed. Give them a shot!

Stay far away. Took my car to get inspected..they failed it..Gave us an estimate for 1500 bucks. I took it to another mechanic and paid 700 bucks and was told some of the items they listed ..didnt need to be replaced. I feel that is extremely dishonest

One of my favorite places to get a quick oil change. I have been coming here for about 2 years now. They are professional, friendly, and affordable! I also love the TV and snacks in the waiting room. I go in for an oil change, and they vacuum out my car, clean my floor mats, they also let me know what I need for my car without initiating a service I didnt ask for (ex. Youll be needing two rear tires soon). I am very appreciative if all that they do! Thank you!

I was a Saturday walk in for emissions and inspection. Friendly, fast, and inexpensive. Most repair shops in the area dont even offer inspection after 12pm on Saturdays.

Wonderful customer service. People are kind and courteous on the phone and in person. They were busy when we arrived so the wait was as expected.

If I could leave no stars I would. They quoted me $1,300 for a front and rear break change with rotors. Not only is that quote absurd and out of this universe...it wasnt accurate at all. Rode over to little tire 15 min later for them to tell me the brake pads still had over half the pad on them and the rotors were perfectly fine. The prey on women and those they think dont know about vehicles. I wouldnt recommend them.

The staff is amazing! So polite and attentive. I loved the local ride to home/work option so I didnt have to spend the day in the waiting room. That said, the waiting room was clean and open, well appointed with snacks, drinks, magazines, a large tv, and plenty of chairs. I was told what was wrong with my car and given options for fixing it. I never felt pressured and never felt dramatics were used to scare me into repairs I could not afford. I was given two small discounts and they vacuumed the floor of the car too! Roger (manager I think) and Kevin (driver/runner) are both very respectful gentlemen. I also liked seeing women working at the shop. I will go here for future service and repairs.

I chose this shop based off the majority of good reviews I saw. But they were extremely slow. I arrived at their shop before they opened on a Saturday and I still had to wait over an hour and a half cause they were finishing 2 cars from the day prior. Then they failed me for a tire that they said had low tread and a license plate bulb. I priced them for a tire and they were gonna charge me $50 more than another shop in the area. So once I came back for re-inspection I waited an hour for them to look at my tire and to install my license plate bulb(which I provided). For that I was charged another $15.02. $12.71 of that was for them to install a license plate bulb. And to add insult to injury they charged me an additional $1.24 for using rags I didnt use and for them using their tools to change my bulb(which was only a Philips screwdriver). Needless to say I will NEVER go there again.

When my 80+ year old parents came into town for Thanksgiving and said they were having trouble with their 19 year old Lexus, they said they had made an appointment with a local dealer to look at it. I told them we would take it to Express Auto. The shop found the problem and my father said the car hasnt driven so well in years. It was affordable and done quickly. I love this shop!

This is a place I went to the first time to get my car inspected. The service was great and the waiting area is comfortable. Ive been back since to get other work done to my car and havent been disappointed by the way that they do their job. They dont try to push any more than whats necessary to do and the prices are fair. I would go to them first before I would go to the dealership where I bought my car to get anything fixed.

I have been coming here for years because I was so impressed with there service and expertise. I always recommended them to everyone with car trouble. Well about 6 months ago during a oil change they told me one tire is going to fail inspection (passenger front)which was due in a couple of months. I purchased a tire from tirerack.com and brang it to them to change. They were clearly aware which tire needed to be changed. Well later that day I saw that the driver front tire was changed because of the trade marking. which was completely fine. They apologized, honest mistake. I recently told them my air conditioning was not working. They told me it needed to be charged and freon needed to be added. Ok so I paid $150 and it worked great. Two days later it stopped working again. Took it back they said there was a leak and would cost another $600 to fix. I asked why this wasnt told to me before I paid the $150. The manager said it must of been a miscommunication. I dont have the $600 to fix. So I paid $150 for literally nothing. Never again!

Very efficient shop and fair price for my oil change on my F 350 diesel. I have used Ford dealers in the past and Express Auto is better in my opinion. I have used Express Auto for oil changes and state inspections on several different vehicles. They report to carfax which is very important to me. I highly recommend this shop.

Always quick and friendly. I use them for annual inspections and oil changes. In and out. I think the longest Ive waited was maybe an hour for an oil change. Bit they have a good waiting room with snacks, drinks, TV etc.... So no biggie, and this was only once I waited this long.

I found this place online. I needed an all wheel alignment and desperately needed a shop that I could get a discount at. I had to fill out a form online in order to receive the discount. And, they also gave me a time slot. Unfortunately, I was not in the system but the guy who helped me was super friendly to allow my car to be worked on immediately. I highly recommend this shop because they were very attentive and my children were able to complete school work along with watching TV and playing in the play area.

Express Auto Service has been my “go-to” service center for all of my vehicles for several years now. I do a lot of my own repairs, and I would not trust just any shop to work on my vehicles. Anytime I need an oil change, state inspection, or any repairs I choose not to do myself, I only take my vehicles to them. The staff is courteous, professional, and straight forward with my vehicles’ needs. I would highly recommend if anyone is looking for a good place to get their vehicle serviced, take it to Express Auto Service.

I was on here checking reviews because I need something simple done and dont want to be taken advantage of. But Im discovering a pattern in these reviews: women are being taken advantage of when they need real work done. A majority of the 1 star ratings appear to be single women. All of the men/ and or spouses were thrilled with their services. Ive experienced this in a lot of shops. Wish there were more honest mechanics around. Wont be coming here either.

Been a customer here for about 10 years. My wife and I have always been treated fairly. Sure its true that services are recommended, some are trivial, some are more, lets say important or necessary. My experience has been that they are pretty much spot on with their recommendations. You can always decline as there is no pressure to have work performed that you dont want. The lobby is clean and comfortable, coffee is always available and the television is (thankfully) on non news channels. You can drop your car off in the evening, they have a drop box. I have even been offered a loaner vehicle when having major repairs that require a longer wait time. My vehicle is 19+ years old, 200K+ miles and this shop helps keep it running in good form. For the record, I have shopped around, and even tried other service centers. I have always come back to express auto service.

Have always had great service at Express Auto, but the fellows went out of their way this time. Went in for general service. Oil change and just mentioned that I had a busier day than most and they moved it through so quickly I hardly had time to get set up to work in the waiting room.

Excellent service. While the repair was expensive the team was upfront and honest with the cause and the required corrective action. They did not try to milk the problem at all as some auto shops are prone to do. The mechanical issue was exactly what I thought and the price to correct was well within the industry standard based on my research for the issue my truck was having. I appreciated how quickly they were able to fix my car and the loaner car provided was a cost savings to me because I did not have to hassle with a rental for the 2 days my car was in the shop. As always the customer service was excellent.
