ESTAFADORESCheated. 😠🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬my truck is in a workshop for transmission repair (warranty) it happens that the truck has been in the workshop for 6 months and they have not repaired it. # They decided to remove the truck from the commercial space and park it on the main street. without telling me. and on July 5 a vehicle (unknown) crashed my truck. there is a police report and a report number. the shop claimed that they would be responsible for the damages. but the truth is that the truck is still abandoned. # 3 I keep getting $ 25 parking tickets every 10 daysscammers

Had an excellent experience with the shop. Took my Audi there after being quoted $1600 by another shop. Turns out all I needed was a line replaced. They fixed my car within 24 hours for under $300. Did a great job and we’re honest not trying to price gouge me. Would definitely use their service again.

Brought my transmission out of my truck (1998 GMC K2500, 6.5L Diesel) to be rebuilt, and was told one price on the phone, than was called to inform to the completion of the rebuild & ended up being way more than quoted. $2395. When I picked up the transmission, the dipstick & dipstick tube were nowhere to be found. asked about it, stated it didnt come with, then after a week of calling/asking about it, I was told they would order me a new one and ship it to me. A month or so later, I still have not received my original OR REPLACEMENT dipstick. These guys are terribly unprofessional and good luck ever getting them on the phone. A month + later, and ive only been able to get them on the phone 3 times.

I was recommended to this Transmission Shop by my brother in law. They were very knowledgeable and professional. I was not disappointed. They even helped me get financed and I was able to get my car back in a timely manner. Pretty fast repair + they gave me a one year warranty. Thumbs up to Advanced Transmission!!!

I just had to have the transmission rebuilt in my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4. I am new to the area and had to find someone that was trustworthy. After doing a lot of research, I found Advanced Transmission. I went by and spoke with Otto and was able to actually speak to the person that would rebuild my transmission. They showed me around and explained the process to have my truck inspected. I received a phone call for every step of the way to explain what would be done, the cost, and to get my permission to continue.My truck was towed to their shop on Tuesday, by Wednesday they already did a general diagnostic and needed to pull the transmission. As was expected, it needed to be rebuilt. They ordered the parts, which came in on Thursday and my truck was ready for pickup by Friday morning. The end price was exactly what was quoted, and they were even able to make it stronger than it was originally. Their price, especially for my size vehicle, was very fair.Ive since driven it locally and on a trip, including pulling a trailer. It performed perfectly with all of the power I was expecting. Great service and very friendly employees. They wanted to make sure that I was happy throughout the whole process and had no surprises. I would easily go back to them with any of my other vehicles, with no problem.

Rude, they dont show any prices for there worked so your not sure they even fixed your car. They complete work on your car without your authorization and then lie and say you did give authorization without your signature. This place is a travesty and should not be allowed to conduct any business. Stay away from this place or you will have more problem then your transmission.

Be very weary of these guys. Told me a week for repair on my truck, took over 3 weeks. Was told $1195 for rebuild including parts and labor. Was charged almost $1800 not including the extra part and tax. Charge was Over $1200 just for the rebuild not including labor. Tried to contact Mark over a period of 3 weeks after repair, at both locations. He refused to return any calls from myself or the BBB. Was charged over $300 for a $100 part. Kept getting told truck will be done tomorrow, when they werent even working on it, as well as ordering the wrong parts. Mark is very unprofessional. Also would not give the finance application until I approved repairs. Financing is also misrepresented. They do not inform you of requirements and do not give any details on it. I would strongly suggest going elsewhere.

Honest. Fair. Fast. Had my F150 towed from Fairfax to Advanced Transmission in Fredericksburg, had my transmission remove, rebuilt, reinstall and I was back on the road. Great service!! My truck runs awesome!!

I really like Advanced Transmission Probably more important, they have earned my trust. They try hard, and are successful, to provide a good job. I had one experience where something went wrong, but they did everything to fix it and make it as smooth as possible for me. So even my bad experience was a good one, if that makes sense. So to me the five stars are well deserved and I will certainly stay with these guys with both of our cars. They are simply honest, hard working people, which are hard to find these days. 👍

Best experience Ive had as a single female trying to find a place to fix my car where they will be honest and thorough without treating me like an idiot.. I know I have high standards 😉 I had a dealership quote me $1000 to fix my brakes, I went to Advance transmission for a second opinion. They checked out my car and told me my brakes were fine and didnt need to be changed. Awesome! Saved me a lot of money and hassle. You should definitely come by and see Otto for Good service, and honestly (which I think is the most important).

Otto and the crew at Advance transmission are great. I own a 2008 Volkswagen Passat. I had serious transmission issues. After the repairs she was purring like kitten. Thats class! I highly recommend this garage. Professional and willing to work with you and they offer a great payment plan if needed!

I just had my 17 year old Ford Ranger XLT transmission rebuilt by mechanics at Advance Transmission and let me tell you, my truck is now running like it did when I first purchased it. The staff were very professional and the atmosphere was pleasant. If you are looking for an honest place to service your vehicle, I recommend Advance Transmission.

My daughter took her vehicle to this place, never was called to be told what the price would be, the guy Auto or whoever they have working there told my daughter and myself that they have a 24 month payment plan but never told us that it was through a 3rd party that you have to get approved for in order to have the 24 month payment plan. We get a call telling us that the vehicle is ready for pick, once we got there thats when we found out about the 3rd party payment plan. Then told us that we have to pay it all in full in order to get vehicle. Then proceed to inform me that they only take cash but then as of Sunday i spoke with the owner Mark and he informed me that they do take debit/credit cards and seemed very confused about the payment and why would i be told that they only take cash. Speak with Auto this morning now this whole thing is now we give receipts. Hes rude and wont let you speak and very disrespectful. The owner (Mark) really needs to train his employees better . So now i will have to get the police and my Lawyers involved.

I thought taking my car here to support local business. Read Yelp reviews and here. One person said Otto is a liar. He deceived me. He could give me Honda part number. I called dealership and was told it was not Honda part. So I don’t take my car to this shop because of dishonest.

They use the old bait and switch trick. Said it was only $14.95 but that was just to install all the pieces remove rebuild but not any extra parts if there was something wrong. And the only way they could check it is by me paying $14.95.

If i could go lower than 1 i would, my van was supposedly fixed less than a month ago...went on a vacation with a rental and within 3 days of driving it had the same issue, its been over 2 weeks now, owner said hed reimburse for my rental hes dodging my calls, went to pick it up today and guess what its not fixed abs light is on traction control light is on wont shift properly out of park...left the keys and told them it better get fixed...they have till Monday or im getting a lawyer

Being a woman is hard when it comes to getting your car repaired but I think I found a spot that you can trust and will walk you throughout the process. They picked up my car FREE!!!🤪 And had it diagnosed after a couple of hours they called me for authorization to have my transmission removed due to internal failure. I gave the approval they called me back with an estimate for the work need. I just picked up my car this afternoon and she runs great thank you Otto and the guys at Advanced Transmission will return and highly recommend.

They finally tried to provide Good customer service after I had to call repeatedly, screamed and yelled at them for not fixing my car and demanded a refund. They tried to fix my car for six months and It wasn’t fixed so they gave me a partial refund. They should have given me a full refund. I took the car to BMW and they replaced the transmission for $5k, which is less than I was charged at this shop to rebuild the transmission. Plus it was fixed right at BMW the 1st time and I haven’t had any problems.

Didnt have service on my vehicle here due to unforeseen circumstances, but I am giving 5 stars on the character and professionalism that I experienced.Otto is a stand-up guy and proved to me that he truly cares about his clientele, as well as the business.If you want a professional experience, I strongly recommend giving them a try.

I dropped off my Acura 3 weeks ago I had a job assignment overseas. So I dropped it off because my Transmission wouldn’t shift stuck in 1st. I received 3 phone calls permission to pull and disassemble transmission and another with estimate to rebuild my Manuel transmission 2 days later my car was done. I just picked up my baby 3 minutes ago and I’m so happy Otto and he team are on point my car is a lot more fun Otto suggested a enlighten flywheel and stage 2 performance clutch great job guy well done on my way to Florida posting this review on the side of 95 south 🤙

People don’t waste your time looking for another Transmission shop take my word Advance Transmission is the place. Otto is great he saves you time and money he is a straight shooter. They have a builder with over 25 years experience. I have a Mitsubishi Outlander and it needed a transmission nobody was able to help me the dealership wanted 6100 I saved more then half thank you Otto and advanced transmission.

This guy Otto is a big liar. They said they would do the work for 1499 plus 6% They called with the estimate afterwords for $3500 after I offered to drop the transmission and bring it in my cell this guy auto is shirred me personally that’s all it would be now I’m having a problem even getting my truck back they don’t have my key we’ve already paid them and we are now starting a lawsuit against the company

Otto is great he went over every step of the repair process with me. This team is efficient my Kia is running like new. I’m a single mother and I don’t know much about cars but I can tell you my car is great.

Otto has a great thing going on in Fredericksburg just picked up my Bmw 750 with over 200k miles needed the old transmission looked at. He diagnosed it rebuilt all in a week it just picked it up last night took it down to my house in Florida wow what a great job. Who says you have to visit the dealership for great service excellent service I’m a lifetime customer.

Unable to go an idea of what it would cost to replace or rebuild transmission..Which unless Im wrong is in their name but thats what they do.

I had a 2013 chevy cruze transmission fixed thru this place and minutes within leaving I had to turn around because they didnt bolt my front end back on and upon me opening the hood to see what the noise is I discovered they had jerry rigged my transmission lines with rubber hoses and then charged me full price for new lines for my car. Then I took my car to the chevy dealership for a recall on the computer and upon getting that done I got a piece of paper that said transmission needed to be serviced. I said wow I just spent a bunch of money on the transmission and just picked it up the day before I took it to chevy place for the recall. I call the company advance auto transmission and let them know that they did not bolt my shifter cable back to the transmission. The man told me to bring it back and they would fix it free of charge ( of course they will .. I live an hour away from this place) they would be open half of day on saturday. I said ok. Drove all the way to them saturday morning and they where not even open and knew I was coming that morning. So monday comes and I get my car back to them and they rig the bolt for the cable and says thats all they can do. Ok fine.. few weeks later me and my 3 small children where going down the road and my car was smoking like I have never seen and I told my kids when I get this car stopped you jump out and get far away from this car as you can. We get out safely. I call the transmission place and let them know that the rubber hoses they used for my transmission lines just popped off and blew all my transmission fluid out and about caught my car on fire with my children in it. I asked them to come get it and fix what they have messed up. All I got was let me make a phone call to get the tow truck and next thing I know they are not getting my car off the road and I would have to purchase new lines for my car and they would put them on free of charge but I had to get my broke down car to them. This company over charged me and didnt do nothing to fix my car. I would give them a 0 of they had one cause nobody deserves to be done dirty or shady. The lies this man told me at this place was unreal. Then they stopped answering my phone calls. I have a video on my facebook page.. from august 2 with my transmission hoses blew off.. I would not recommend this place to a dog and I will be taking them to court.

Just picked up my Lexus Sc430 from Advanced transmission I’m very happy ask for Otto he is a sweet heart.

My Lexus Rx350 was slipping and slamming into gears so I called around asked for assistance everybody wanted to charge me a diagnostic fee I took it to Lexus paid 168.99 for them to me my transmission is bad and it’s $6300. Did some research and found Advance transmission so I called and this guy named Otto called and said can I put you on hold I’m on the other line with a client and asked for my name and number. He called a few mins later and went through the process I gave him my information a hour later there was a tow truck picking up my suv. I got a call a day later and Otto was telling me I have an internal problem with my transmission later that day he called he had and updated me with what they found so I have them my ok to move forward with the repair. I just picked up the vehicle and wow she feels brand new I’m so happy I saved almost half what Lexus wanted and I got free towing and diagnostics Otto was great and he was available every time I called must of called him 100 times.

Just picked up my Bmw 335 at Advance transmission man. this is the spot I went to 3 other transmission shops first of all they were all rude. I called my man Otto he walked me thru the process and set me up with Sarah she handles the payment plans and they got me done and the best part no credit needed they gave me a fighting chance when everyone said no.

Otto seems to be very incompetent. The guy doesnt know how to use a fax, scan or email. None of these shops have a fax # listed. Filed a complaint with the AGs office trying to get a receipt, copy of warranty, itemized invoice of which is required from any auto shop. Very disappointed with the service and sure the good reviews are fake reviews! Please believe the 1 STAR REVIEW

These guys have been fantastic in terms of diagnosis and repair of my 05 Boxster. Fair rates, honest, great communication and courteous personnel. Highly recommend.March 2019 Update:A transmission shop has to do a lot of things right to make for an excellent customer experience. Scheduling convenience, verbal pre-diagnosis, mid repair communication, no breakdowns after I leave there because they caught everything, reasonable pricing including not over- prescribing work to be done. And do all this consistently. These guys have been doing it all for my 05 Boxster S my wife’s 03 Honda Fit daughter 2010 Honda Civic ex. You wont find better! Trust me, Ive had 8 eight cars!

Wow just as advertised just picked up my Range Rover brought it in for transmission shifting hard and slipping now it shifting like glass. I’m back in love with my truck thank you Otto and advance transmission and thank you for putting up with me.

I’ve been walking to work for 2 years paying Uber and taxis I don’t make very much money I work at the Walmart in town can’t afford a car. I stopped by advance transmission talked to a sharp cat I believe his name was Otto I told him about my Lincoln and he said they don’t make them like that no more lol damn right. I told him my transmission went out on it 2 years ago. I’ve been struggling to walk my knees and feet have been bothering he told me about his for rebuilding a transmission I told him I don’t have money for that he told me about his payment plan and that was the game changer. He told me the base price for rebuilding a transmission is 1495 that these include replacing the most commonly warn parts in a transmission but warn me there are hard parts and electronics that are inside the transmission I can’t see and he would let me know if there where any issues. I justed picked up my Lincoln an hour ago and she is running right. I’m so happy to be able to drive. My car won’t go into 3rd went online found Advanced auto transmission spoke with Otto and walked me thru the process. He rebuilt the transmission replaced the clutch and bam all done she drives like a new

Truck was damaged transmission broke after 2 days owner doesnt even care so good luck to you if you go here was told while i was there 5 or 6 cars on lot are comebacks meaning transmissions broke again
