How sad that 2 twin bed sets were rejected when the truck arrived. I personally checked the mattresses there are no stains. Someone could use these but now they will end up in the landfill which is in itself another shame.

Warehouse type place with a ton of random building supplies with some furniture. Good prices and decently organized. Staff were helpful and pleasant, would recommend.

Every time Ive attempted to donate nice things to them, theyll make every excuse in the world to not accept it if it involves some manual labor; and gives you a pickup date thats way out to discourage you. Every time Ive gone there theyre just standing around. Not even worth the bother. If youre not sincere in what you do,lets somebody else do it.

I personally have purchased several items in the store I would purchase more but their prices are extravagantly High.As a Fredericksburg Virginia resident I am happy to see these type of organizations however, anytime money is involved for any organization, there tends to be graft and fraud.Is this a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit if so where do I find your quarterly report on how much donations you give to the community?

My husband and I had a very unfortunate experience at this restore trying to return a dryer that we purchased a week ago, that did not work. My husband had to load and drive the dyer 1-hour each way. When he brought it back to the store today, he was told that he did not have the right receipt. He explained that it was the only receipt that we were given - and that it showed every detail of our purchase on it. Instead of trying to help, he was told no - at which point he drove it around back to drop it off (watch out, they might have tried to restock it!). The man in the back was surprised by the stores refusal to take it back. He looked at the receipt and explained that it must be a mistake, that they take these receipts all the time. He asked my husband to meet him around front to work it out. When he got there, the man quickly dismissed my husband, with our receipt in his hand, threw his hands in the air and asked my husband to leave the store!At that point I called the store manager, Cynthia Miller. She told me multiple stores in various formats, all leading to the same answer - they would not be able to return the dryer without a different receipt. Even after I explained that we never received such a piece of paper, and that my husband drove an hour to return it, that he would have to come back and she would see what she could do. This was after he was asked to leave the store! She refused to help me work it out over the phone, and said she could not do anything unless he came back to the store again. When I told her that his receipt was not given back to him, she denied it. I challenged her on that as well, at which point it was magically found left on the counter by your husband. At that point she admitted that all she had to do was re-generate the receipt, since you know, our names are already in their database. But that she would not do it for me, and my husband would have to come all the way back.I guess we will have to find a different nonprofit to support. Very sad day.

Great cause, but the prices are high.I looked at a worn chair and was surprised that the price was so high. After a quick glance around I realized everything was pricey.Very organized.I left without buying anything.

Prices are sky high for used items. Rarely, you can find a good deal. The people who volunteer or work there are very nice and helpful. Too bad about the prices.

Music is loud, which has kept me from coming more often. Some items are overpriced and outdated. Gave two stars because they do have some nice furnishings, once in awhile.

My mom just past away and I tried to use there service to get the rest of there items out . However Ive explained all the items that needs to be removed. They only took what they can take on one trip downstairs. The employees who came where very disrespectful and rude to me about my mothers passing. It took me half a day to find some one else to pick up the rest of the items. Which took time away from grieving with my family. Ill never recommend and use this company. I go here usually on weekends & there are some good items but.. as others have said, its a lot of furniture or electronics that are priced ridiculously high as if new & thats odd considering the majority of things there are used. I was thinking that i was the only one whose noticed the pricing for much of the used items they sale. But after reading many other reviews.. seems others have taken notice of the ridiculously high prices they continue to demand for 2nd hand or used items. Not only that but they dont offer layaway, even Walmart has that if not just for Christmas and those are brand new items theyre selling - not used. I think they need to rethink how this place is run

Ive been to habitat for humanity stores all over hampton roads and richmond area. This is the best one so far.

Since they moved to the new store their prices have skyrocketed. Six panel door they wanted $35.00. I bought a new one for $33.00. They need to rethink their pricing.

I called ahead to see if I could donate specific items. I was told yes we take those items, just bring them in. When I got there, the same day that I called ahead, I was told that the center could not use the items because they had too many of them. Really?? Why wasnt I told that when I called? I suggest the people answering the phones be provided with a list of items you are not taking at that particular time as to not waste anyones time.
