My mom ordered her MOB dress here in late April for my wedding in November. They assured her that it would be here in plenty of time to have alterations done. We have called many times, each time the person on the phone didn’t give much information and just said it should be in the next week. Next week came and we never heard from them, and when we called no dress. We finally called today and they said “oh it’s in”. They didn’t call us to let us know the dress is in…we had to call? It is 23 days until my wedding so there is a lot of stress involved. The dress is beautiful and we are happy, just wish the process would have been easier and quicker. Hoping their alternations are quick….

I really wanted to love my experience today for wedding dress shopping as I heard amazing things and had high expectations but myself and my guest were very disappointed. From the initial walk in we felt unwelcome and rushed. I don’t even know my consultants name I don’t think she even gave me it. I was also disappointed that we weren’t told ahead of time we couldn’t browse dresses even though she ended up letting me after I tried on about 15 dresses. Granted I had no idea what I wanted but everything I said I hated she kept pulling. Nothing about my appointment was personable I felt like I was just another “sale” I felt like no one listened to what I wanted and the dresses being pulled were WAY off what I kept saying I like. What I did end up liking or getting close to liking they had nothing in the store to show me. I’ve been wedding dress shopping before as a guest at other salons and the experience was spectacular and my experience here was not. I gave it 2 Stars because the salon itself was beautiful and so classy the suite was very secluded and nice.

POSH was so wonderful to work with! Excellent selection, and great customer service. They helped my daughter find her dream dress within her budget, had a really nice selection of suits for the groom and groomsmen and dressed them all well, and helped me find my mother-of-the-bride dress and the grooms mother hers as well. Their seamstress is amazing and did an fantastic job with alterations. Couldnt be happier!

I just want to thank you guys for everything throughout the past year and a half! Posh Bridal has been so excellent to my sister and me for both of our weddings this year. You were just so accommodating throughout everything (COVID!!). I just absolutely love my dress, is it is just so whimsical and beautiful! Even though it was a one hour drive for us to come out to Frederick, it was COMPLETELY worth it. You guys are just the best!

I could not recommend Posh Bridal more. The staff, dresses, and atmosphere make for an incredible experience. They made my guests and I feel comfortable and right at home. Not to mention all of their dresses are so unique, drop-dead gorgeous, and completely reasonable in price. My dress turned out absolutely perfect and I received endless compliments throughout the night and the days following. Posh Bridal was my first and only choice for finding the perfect dress for my wedding. Lindsey, Olyvia and the whole Posh Bridal team made my experience so special, even with the COVID restrictions that had to be in place at that time. After trying on multiple dresses and still not finding the perfect one, Olyvia had the brilliant idea to take two dresses and put them together to create my dress. Her creativity and dedication resulted in a one-of-a-kind dress, just for me!Once youve purchased your dress, you should definitely leave it in the expert hands of their staff seamstress, Audra! She makes you feel like a rockstar and helps you look like one too. Audra skillfully redesigned the bodice of my dress to turn it into the style that Olyvia and I came up with. She even reconstructed my moms veil for me so that I was able to wear it on my wedding day. Her work was incredible!And dont forget to look for your bridesmaids and mother of the bride or groom dresses too! My mom and I went back and picked out a stunning dress for her that fit perfectly with the style of my dress and the festivities of the day.Posh Bridal is a exceptional bridal boutique and one that I would recommend over and over again!

Posh is an amazing group of women but I especially want to shout out Kim, my consultant, and their seamstress, Audra. I really had no idea what I wanted to wear but I told Kim at my appointment something like, “I want it to have some sort of garden vintage vibe but it better not be Gatsby because that movie is just all wrong.” We found an amazing dress that had vine, geometric, and scalloping details in the lace but there was one problem-it was a halter top. Kim clipped and pinned, creating imaginary straps. It was perfect. Then when it was Audra’s turn, she knew how to handle and execute the vision Kim and I had. We bought extra fabric and with the semi-asymmetrical design Audra created beautiful straps and hemmed the dress perfectly. Like it had straps from the beginning. Audra ALSO did the fittings and alterations on all dresses for my 6 bridesmaids. What I loved about Kim and Audra too is that they planned ahead and anticipated how the dress would “feel” on the day of my wedding, helping me understand how to stand in it so the straps we made wouldn’t “buckle.” That’s a detail I wouldn’t have thought of. They also answered all of my silly questions and emails, dealt with my several shoes that I brought for fittings, and laughed with me and my family/friends each time we came in. Then Posh had a contact for preserving and cleaning my dress, so that was effortless as well. Thanks, ladies, for creating a one-of-a-kind for me!

I did not end up purchasing a dress at Posh as I found something I liked better at Davids Bridal - a comparison pros and cons of my experience are noted below and then also my experience at Davids.Pros: the woman on the phone to schedule the appointment was extremely patience and helpful. They appear to have high quality dresses here. The shop itself is conveniently located and very nice, spacious and seems higher end. They have the ability to really make this an unique and fun experience for a bride. No one else was in the shop during my visit which was nice, however there is a fee for each appointment, which I do understand.Cons: During our appointment I felt that the consultants were not terribly excited about their line of work or the process. They werent rude or anything, just very neutral and matter of fact, almost indifferent. I did end up liking a dress but they were unable to hold it even for 24 hours so I could attend my next appointment at another shop to finalize my decision. Posh also isnt willing to show you brands or model numbers for the dresses - I personally dont care about this, but I suspect this may be important to some brides especially if they are spending a large amount of money or are brand conscious.I ended up purchasing my dress at Davids bridal in Rockville. Honestly I was shocked to end up purchasing at a big box store, but they really personalized the experience and made me feel special. My bridal consultant at Davids basically read my mind, was super excited and clearly was in the right line of work. Also, the alterations were much cheaper at Davids than what Posh was quoting (granted they were able to order my dress within a few weeks and therefore could order my size and not massively tailor it down from the sample dress like Posh was going to have to). To that end, Davids was able to order my dress with plenty of time whereas Posh recommended not ordering as it could take 6 months. So depending upon your needs and interests, big box may be for you or Posh with the limitations as outlined above.

Friendly staff, clean, a big/open store, plenty of room to move around, accomadating staff. They did not rush me and I tried on many dresses. I finally found my dress at this shop and I know I made the right choice! I love my dress, even though it was a bit over my budget. Olivia was my attendant and she were clear about when my dress will arrive, cost, and alterations. I had a great experience.

I was extremely nervous as a plus size bride to go wedding dress shopping. I’ve always dreamed of finding the dress just like any other person, but after years of my body being told it was “wrong” and designers not making beautiful clothes for my body, I was nervous to say the least!I had a fantastic time. Every dress I tried on was in my size. The woman helping me was kind, positive and cheering me on! She really listened to what I wanted and pulled dresses that were in my price range and made me feel beautiful.I highly recommend this shop! Thank you for helping me find “the one” ❤️

I picked out my dress yesterday at Posh Bridal. Not only was my dress beautiful and exactly what I wanted the experience was more then what I could have imagined it to be. My consultant was Sara and she was AMAZING! She was patient, helpful and really got exactly what I wanted the dress I went with was actually the second one I tried on. She even let me try on dresses that weren’t exactly the style I thought I wanted but it helped me realize what I did want which really rounded out the experience for me even more. With this virus going on I was nervous about going and having to wear a mask but my experience at Posh was nothing short of amazing. Sara even waited patiently so that we could FaceTime my Mother in law and best friends so they could still be apart of the experience with the virus guidelines on their store. I could not recommend this store more to anyone searching for a dress especially throughout this uncertain time. And the store itself was gorgeous! So much space and a great set up. We had an awesome time. Thank you posh bridal and thank you Sara! I can’t wait to keep working with this store 🙂

My sister had an appointment to find her wedding dress and was told she could bring along 4 people. Luckily we decided to call ahead and confirm and they said they changed the policy to 2. Had we not called to confirm, we never would have know and the other 2 people would have been asked to wait outside. I think this is poor business communication. I wasn’t thrilled with the communication skills of this business.

I absolutely love this bridal boutique!! The dresses are STUNNING, the shop is beautifully decorated (I want to live there lol) and all the staff is amazing!!!! The seamstress Audra is FABULOUS! She is so sweet, helpful and positive! Wonderful to work with especially being a stressful bride during this pandemic. I will recommend this boutique to every future bride I know! 😀

I had the best experience with Posh! It was my very first bridal appointment and Lindsay killed it. I sent the team a couple of dresses that I really liked prior to my appointment so they could see my vision. Each dress that was pulled for me was unique, beautiful, and had qualities that I was looking for. After trying on a couple of dresses and getting to hear what I liked and didnt like, Lindsay went and pulled a dress to add to the first round. After trying that one on, I knew I had found my dress! I am SO exciting - the hardest part with this experience is now waiting for my wedding day to wear it again!

My friend went here with her bridal party and she said that the workers basically didnt even care for their presence. They were basically indifferent which is insanity because this is someones WEDDING. They treat people like theyre wasting time...I really HOPE its not because they were ethnic but at least the DRESS was gorgeous. So, if youd like consultant that make you feel welcomed, I dont think we can recommend this company.

My Posh Bridal experience was fantastic as I felt beautiful and valued throughout the entire process. I wanted to give special recognition to Bree as she was a huge influence on how great the appointment went for me. She greeted us with a bubbly hello at the door and continued to carry a positive and fun attitude throughout the appointment. Posh was the second and final bridal boutique I visited while searching for my wedding gown, and I would recommend them 100% for special occasion dresses. The women who helped at my initial appointment was friendly and helped alleviate some of my anxiety over dress shopping. We purchased my dress & the bridesmaids dresses here. The dress I chose was actually one that I had tried on earlier that day at a shop much closer to Baltimore - the woman at Posh brought it into the room and we all recognized it right away - it had been “the dress to beat” when we left the first shop. As a happy bonus, it was about 30% less expensive at Posh Bridal. The seamstress was also wonderful and helped me choose the right bustle style for the dress. Thank you to the staff of Posh Bridal!

Will not be purchasing a dress here. My sweet and lovely mom made a special trip on my behalf (because I live in another state and COVID) and the staff here was SO RUDE. She explained what we were looking for and our price point on the phone when we made an appointment, so it was extra jarring to show up to said appointment and be treated as an intrusion. Well be happy to spend our money elsewhere.

Never felt so unwelcoming.The sales person was nice but sometimes seemed a little inpatient when I asked her about the dresses that she had available. I paid $35 for the appointment and they still treated me as I was wasting their time. I really like a dress that I tried on and when I called back to ask the name of the design and style she said she couldn’t give that information. She wanted me to sign a contract and I thought it was very sketchy. So I will buy a $1500 dress that I can’t know the design name(?). Ridiculous. I’ve been in many bridal stores and this was my worst experience.

Had the absolute best bridal experience at Posh Bridal! This was my second stop of the day and I loved every single dress I tried on. When I was feeling overwhelmed because I was between two dresses at the end, Janell made me feel so comfortable and helped me choose the one I truly loved. She made me feel like the most special bride with all of the fun activities afterwards and my bridal crew had an absolute blast. I cannot wait for the upcoming trunk shows and exciting activities to come. So thankful to have found my dream dress and would not want to be sharing all of these milestones with anyone other than Posh Bridal!

This was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses. I had made it clear to the consultant that I wanted to try dresses on to find silhouette and styles as I have never done this before. I felt that I was being pushed to purchase and I was not ready. I was also judged for my budget which I thought was pretty high ( a couple of thousand ) but the consultant insisted that I needed to make my budget larger. This experience was unsettling and discouraging as I had known a lot of friends in the community recommend this place however, I would not. I would encourage some staff development training on sensitivity to financial insecurities as more brides may be faced with this during and as a result of the pandemic.

I highly recommend Posh Bridal to anyone who is serious about finding their dress. The store is beautiful and the dresses are phenomenal. I really felt like they were able to plug in to what I was looking for right away. I described the dress I thought I wanted in my head and my consultant put me in that exact one, where other places I had tried on dresses didnt. It was awesome to be able to actually see what I looked like in a dress that I thought Id love. Turns out I didnt, and she was able to clue in what I liked and didnt like from that base. We found my perfect dress after that! She was a great consultant, helped in the fitting room and helped to see my vision, but hung back enough that it never felt intrusive. She was also great about getting me into another dress if she could tell I wasnt feeling the one I was in, it made the appointment a breeze! I felt no pressure to pick a dress right then and there, but I found the one!! Overall, the experience I had was very pleasant. They are even able to add different elements to the dress that I bought to truly make it my own. I cannot recommend Posh enough, and if you are able, the VIP appointment makes everything all the more special. Thanks Posh team!

However, the girls at Posh were so incredibly helpful, listened to what I liked/disliked about dresses I tried on, and were so knowledgeable about each style! I ended up finding the PERFECT dress!!! I recently just purchased my wedding dress from Posh Bridal and the experience so far has been amazing! My consultant was very helpful and super sweet during my entire appointment. When I arrived they asked to see any photos of dresses I was interested in and I was able to try on several of the dresses I had picked out already! My consultant Lori was quickly able to narrow down the style and fit of dress that I was looking for. The dress I ended up choosing was nothing that I had ever thought I would wear, but I absolutely loved it! Lori was super helpful, honest, and so easy to work with. Kim was absolutely amazing she was the perfect guide in deciding what I wanted for my special day. Beautiful interior- spacious, lots of side areas for private dress appointments. It was my fourth bridal salon appointment and I was starting to feel discouraged. Right away the consultant clued into what I want and I absolutely fell in love with my dress. Not only that, but it was well under budget! Could not be happier.

I have visited this boutique four times now, and every time my experience has been nothing less than excellent. When I was shopping for my wedding gown, their consultants were accommodating to my budget, aesthetic, and my indecision. They were also just as pleasant when I was shopping for my bridesmaids, and found exactly what I was looking for.The most memorable service provided was from their seamstress. My dress required a fair amount of complex alterations, and I could not be more satisfied in how my dress fits. Not only is her work clean and impeccably done, but her customer service and demeanor set her far above my expectations. They were able to squeeze me in last minute as my mom was in from out out of town. Not only did they have beautiful selection of gowns, they were So Very Professional! Amanda was very helpful & totally understanding to my needs. Even with a crowd at the front desk when we first walked in, we were quickly moved back to a private room for my try ons and not disturbed. Definately recommended!

If youre looking for a wedding dress, we wedding dress, we definitely give this place a try before wasting your time to go anywhere else! They have a large variety of designers and their service is impeccable! Definitely an experience unlike any of the other boutiques that weve been to, the dressing room is embedded any private room where your guests will sit comfortably while waiting for you to try on your dresses and its all done in the comfort and privacy of a room the size of a large bedroom.

The entire experience with Posh was amazing! Our first day there, trying on dresses and saying yes to the dress was such a fun day. The consultants were attentive and so friendly, especially since I was an anxious wreck that day! The girl who does the alterations is an absolute dream! So very sweet and did incredible work! My experience at posh was excellent! They have a really great selection and the people there are wonderful and so helpful. I loved that they asked me to share my Pinterest board of dresses that I liked. It really came in handy since I came in with a pretty poor description of how I wanted my dress to look. Instead, they had already pulled some dresses that matched what I had pinned. They were also very accommodating when I decided to get a different dress at the last minute! The dress I ended up with was exactly what I wanted and made my wedding day perfect!

I went to Posh on a whim. I was looking for dresses in previous stores and just couldnt understand why I wasnt finding THE ONE. When I walked into Posh, my first impression was it was hands down beautiful. It smelled lovely as well. I then met the receptionist who was a doll! She was very nice, friendly, and pleasant to speak with. I then met my consultant Lori. She was extremely friendly, and personable. I ended up find the perfect dress and couldnt be more thrilled!

I had a great experience at Posh. I had a previous appointment elsewhere that had gone okay, but I didnt love anything. Got to Posh, and I think every dress I tried on was more beautiful than the last. The ladies there were so supportive of myself and also my family (they wanted to pick things out for me that they thought would look good, and the consultants were perfectly fine with this). I cannot emphasize enough how welcoming this boutique was. 5/5 stars, definitely!

I purchased my wedding dress from Posh and I could not have had a more positive experience. Kim was truly a delight to work with and she truly made me feel beautiful in every dress I tried on. I first tried on my dress in their original location and thought the store was adorable and nicely decorated, but it is nothing in comparison to their new location. It is GORGEOUS. I would recommend Posh to any bride looking for a wedding dress and a memorable experience looking for one.

I had four bridal appointments yesterday and this was the only one that made me feel uncomfortable. The consultant was nice, but she was VERY pushy to make a sale and it was extremely off-putting. I didnt really love any of the dresses she pulled for me except the one that we showed her a picture of when we got there and its sister dress. She saved those for last and then tried to push it on me by telling me that if I still love it after trying on all these dresses, that says something. I had just tried that dress on an hour earlier and this was only my second visit to a bridal shop. I felt very pressured to make a decision. She kept trying to make me decide which one I loved more even though I kept saying I wanted to look at pictures and think about it. She repeatedly said, Just let yourself have this moment. Everyone you love is here with you, just give yourself this moment. I felt very uncomfortable. I did end up saying yes to a dress later in the day, and it was nothing like the ones she was making me feel pressured to choose. I would not recommend Posh Bridal to anyone.

HIGHLY recommend checking out Posh Bridal in Urbana! Amazing selection of dresses and wonderful service! I showed my consultant Kim a picture of a dress I liked online and told her I was worried it wouldn’t come in my size but she quickly dispelled my fears and pulled a plus size sample of it and many others in a similar style. I found my dress quickly and LOVE it! The experience was night and day from David’s Bridal. If you have had a bad dress hunting experience go here and redeem it!! Prices are totally reasonable too!

If I could I would give Posh Bridal 10 stars! I worked with Kim and she was absolutely amazing! There was such an intimate feel to the store. Kim made me feel so special and gave me and my family her full attention. She used my Pinterest board and the details I told her and pulled out such beautiful dresses. There wasnt a single one that wasnt a gorgeous dress! It was like she knew exactly what I liked and could pull out just the right dress. I said I wanted to try a strapless just to see how I felt about it and she pulled me out the one! She even spent time with us looking at bridesmaids and mother-of-the bride dresses a few minutes after the store had closed. I cannot begin to express what a wonderful experience that was and I would highly recommend Posh Bridal to anyone.

If I could give a zero star I would. Did not even get to visit the store but the consultant who I spoke to on the phone was disrespectful and rude. I hope they do not treat others this way.

We just had the first fitting for my daughters gown. The seamstress (Audra) was wonderful to work with.She explained everything. The shop had given us a guesstimate on alterations when we purchased. The alterations were in the range quoted.We arrived early to look at Mother of the Bride dresses.They were very accommodating and gave us plenty of time.Lori was wonderful!We have had a great experience from day one!

I was recommended to go there cause they found there dress and had an amazing experience. When I went I found my dress and the sales consultant was amazing! Sadly she doesnt work there no more. When we went to get the bridesmaid dresses we felt as the new seller was not as attentive to us and we had to ask for clips multiple times. I had set up to get my dress altered there. I had asked how much it was going to cost to get the train done and the seamstress how much it would cost, she stated $200 so the total cane out to $600. I called later that day and changed my mind about the train. I called a few weeks later to finish paying and was told that the total was still $600. I had an appointment set to speak to the seamstress I arrived and she was waiting for me, she basically called me a liar and stated she never said $200 and only wanted to take off $75 instead of $100. I would not recommend alterations as it is overaly priced. And can find other locations that are amazing for half the cost. I took my money and dress elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience with my mom and sister in laws. My needs were addressed and I felt very comfortable. There were so many beautiful options!! I loved how private the area we were in was and I found my dream gown that my consultant picked out! So happy we went here to find my gown!

Both Brooke and Janelle made my entire experience more perfect than I imagined. I was so nervous going in thinking I wouldn’t find the right gown or it would be too busy. It was quiet and pertcect for an intimate and special moment. They celebrated with us and made me feel amazing. You have to go see them if you want a gorgeous well made gown with the experience to go with it!

I purchased a dress online from an etsy shop for my wedding in October, thinking Id save myself some time and money. When it showed up, it was nothing like I expected and truly disappointing. I emailed all the boutiques in Frederick in a panic. Posh got back to me within two hours! They brought me in the next day for a private appointment. I spent an hour with a consultant and two of my bridesmaids. They only pulled dresses in my (very small) budget, and they were all GORGEOUS! I never felt pressured to try on things I didnt like, my consultant was super friendly, and we had a great time. I found a dress I love on the first try and Im thrilled. I HIGHLY recommend this shop!

This facility is really dirty and the staff is not very nice. Every time I came to this store the staff was eating lunch and seemed bothered to be helping you during their business hours. I purchased my wedding gown from here because it was close to home and they had the dress I wanted. Most of the samples are not kept very nicely and are stained, ripped, or otherwise damaged. They only give 1 hour appts and are always running late so you get about 30 minutes worth of their time, so you are constantly being rushed out the door. I had my alterations done by Val, which were originally quoted to be around $200-$250 when the dress was purchased. No more than $300 at most is what the posh bridal employees insisted. When I had my dress altered it ended up being $450 to bring in the top portion, ever so slightly, and hem the dress. I picked up my dress 2 days before my wedding- not by choice but because Val is over booked and waited until the last minute to have the dress finished! I came to my last fitting only to find out that she never even hemmed the dress, so I was tripping all over it, and of course she had no time to fix her mistake of thinking she had hemmed the dress when she hadnt, she hand sewed the hem to fix the problem. The stitching came undone before my wedding even started and I spent my whole wedding night tripping over my dress and I could barely get down the isle because of it. I never complained while at the store because lets be real, who has the time to deal with this kind of issue and have to fight with your alterations woman 2 DAYS before your wedding. Pretty appalling service in my opinion.

Posh bridal was professional and answered my questions. My dress arrived on time and the correct size, and they promptly notified me when it was available to pick up. I wasnt particularly impressed with my experience as I never really felt welcome or comfortable. My experiences as J&B Bridals in Chambersburg were much better, but Posh was the only salon in the area that carried the dress I wanted. I would give 3.5 stars if I could because nothing went wrong but I wouldnt jump to recommend them to a good friend.

First the good, it was a beautiful shop and had all the right visual elements....beautiful....and the only reason why I upped this to 2 stars.Now for the reason that I would never recommend this shop. It...was....flat in customer service. All three ladies that we saw today gave nary a smile, and lacked any warmth and excitement for a bride to be. I, myself, greeted everyone warmly and was happy to spend some time helping my daughter be sure of what she wanted in a gown, but her consultant was not....her effort level was LOW. The feeling was that this was a waste of time for her....and not one person said goodbye as we left. I found this shop flat out rude and seriously lacking in customer service.I will just say that perhaps it was because my daughter didnt state a higher budget...which if wed had proper customer relations it would have come out that the budget was open to being raised significantly, or maybe it was because she already had her heart set on another dress and was just keeping her appointment here to sure up her decision. I can only assume the reasons for such poor relatabilty, I really dont know. But I hope that in the future you smile, you go out of your way, and you treat every bride who comes through that door with all the excitement they deserve.Oh, and one more thing, your consultant bashed another bridal shop to my daughter during her appointment with you...this is extremely immature, and unprofessional.I would not recommend your store.

Posh Bridal was my third and best dress shopping experience! Lisa took such good care of me and they had a large amount of beautiful, fairly priced dresses. They were kind, down to earth, and ever so patient! I would recommend this store with the highest recommendation!

WARNING WARNING WARNINGMy now wife visited this joke of a business three times for bridesmade fittings, as she was the maid of honor in a wedding. First, a consultant mis-measured my very fit wife and ordered a dress for her. Upon delivery, it was clear that her dress was three sizes too small. Instead of admitting there was a mistake, they took it upon themselves to tell her that it was more likely that she gained three dress sizes in weight in six weeks, and that was why it didnt fit. After many heated conversations with the incredibly rude sales staff, they offered to repair the dress, with her paying for the extra fabric it would require, and it wouldnt look the same as advertised because of the additional alterations that could have been avoided. In an email suggesting they take care of this problem, as they should, it was stated by her that it would be in their best interest to come a reasonable solution (order a new dress) as it would ultimately lead to a poor review online (what we are doing here now).They responded instead of doing the right thing, that is was illegal to threaten a small business with a bad review, and that if it continued, the authorities would be contacted. Obviously this was a ridiculous statement and I really wish they called the police, as they would have gotten laughed at to their faces.The bride of this wedding and my now wife visited this terrible place, and at least one of them left crying every time they left for being treated so poorly.I severely recommend avoiding this place, as their are dozens of other options within a few miles drive. To ownership, I strongly recommend taking a look at how consistent this kind of complaint is online, and try to suck a little less before you go out of business.

My experience with Posh started out good but has turned out to be a very frustrating experience. From the overpriced dresses and shady alterations practices, please save yourself some $$ and go elsewhere. The store does not operate during posted store hours and the owner and staff are rarely available to reach by phone especially since they have a call service system that announces the caller. Some shady business practices going on at this place. I’ve been trying to get my dress back for 5 months after dropping it off in July to replace 3 buttons! I still haven’t gotten my dress, it’s being held hostage or something happened to it. I’d hate to get judge Judy on the case but this has been my experience at this place, what a shame.

Love the dress I picked from Posh. I had tried four places before here and had just tried it as a shot in the dark. So glad that I took the chance! They have been great to work with through the bridesmaids dresses as well. Soon we will start working on the tuxes, but I have no doubt that will be a good experience.

This was the third bridal shop I visited in my quest for a wedding dress, and it by far was the best! The shop itself is beautiful and easily twice the size of the other places I visited - their selection is huge. I went in for my first appointment alone - I figured Id find a few dresses I liked, then make a second appointment to bring along my ladies for their help making a final choice. Kim worked with me, looked at the pics I had and listened as I described my style, and wound up nailing it - she found me THE dress, love at first sight, I ordered it on the spot with no hesitation. But Kim understood that I still wanted my ladies to be involved somehow, so she helped me set up a second appointment that my mom and bestie would be attending too - at that appointment, Kim helped me try on a couple fake dresses before I came out in the dress. When my bestie started crying, I fessed up to already ordering the dress and all was well! Kim then helped my mom find a gorgeous mother of the bride dress in an amazing color. Absolutely excellent service from Kim, this shop is fantastic!

Plus size brides beware!!! As another review said I definitely didn’t look the part that they wanted. I was told that there weren’t many dress options for me to even try because they wouldn’t fit me and some of the ones I wanted to try she wouldn’t even entertain putting on me (the were obviously too small but you want to get an idea).The girl at the front desk never even cracked a smile and was not a good welcome to the boutique. And we overheard how a bridesmaid dress fitting was going and it sounded like that plus size girl was getting treated the same way.For something that is already stressful for any girl that is self conscious about how they look they made me feel worse by not letting me even try dresses on and being told there was nothing in my size to really look at. She didn’t even help put the dresses on, she just handed them to me. I had more help from my family members. She also seemed offended that I didn’t like her dress choices but at the end of the day I’m the one who has to love it, so get over it.Awful experience, they definitely shouldn’t take plus size bride appointments at all if that is how they are going to be treated.

I cannot rave ENOUGH about this bridal boutique. First off, I drove in from Virginia and was running behind about 15 minutes for my 4pm appointment. They close at 5. We were there until about 6pm. They were so flexible and worked with me. The staff actually stayed an hour after closing to help me find my perfect dress.Secondly, the boutique itself is absolutely beautiful. They have an overstock of dresses - its amazing. They had more dresses than any other place Id been to so far. They have the entire place decorated so beautifully that it makes you feel like a celebrity. My sister and I told our family that this is the Kleinfelds of the DMV area! Say Yes to the Dress - Frederick :)Lastly, my bridal consultant, Kim. I. LOVED. HER. She took the style of dress I told her I was looking for and ran with it. We ended up pulling just four dresses and that was all I needed. She saved the best for last and once I put it on, how could I even think so say no? To top it off, she came up with the BEST idea to customize my dress to make it my own and add the extra flare that I needed. She literally created the dress of my dreams in her head, and then made it my reality. She was super friendly and attentive to not only myself, but my family. Oh, and when you buy your dress here, your wedding party gets discounts on bridesmaid dresses and tux rentals too!Like I said, this place is awesome. I dont ever plan on getting married again but if I did, Id be back here in an instant. And Im definitely recommending all my friends who are getting married to come check out Posh Bridal.

I have said yes to my dress recently, store has the style that I was looking for, the only thing bothered me was my whole appointment was so dry, I tried couple dresses and when I said yes to my dress it wasn’t anything exciting, just didn’t feel welcomed maybe bc the time I said yes the store got so busy but the lady who helped me was really nice, but they didn’t do anything special for me when I said yes to the dress, we took pictures ourself, no one said if we needed coffee or even water the whole entire time, but I got the dress that I wanted so I’m happy.

Posh Bridal has been the worst place to work with. They lost all of our bride and bridesmaids information days after we filled it out. They have incorrect information. Their communication skills are horrible. They never called or emailed any of us about our dresses arriving so we all sat around wondering where our dresses were. They make you come in numerous times for nothing and they over charge for alterations before you even get the dress back to try it on. I will never use this place again and I would not recommend them. I feel sorry for brides that have dealt with that stress.

I went in for a bridal appointment and was truly disappointed with this place. My consultant did not appear very professional, and called me hun on most occasions. I asked her for dresses from a designer they carried and she seemed disinterested in the styles I wanted to see. Then I did find a dress that was interesting to me but was not ready to make a purchase. She kept putting the hard press on telling me I need to stop looking and I was going to be running out of time (I am getting close to my date but not beyond it by any means). Then when I left, she insisted I make a follow up appointment to come back. I think this is a very used car approach to bridal dress shopping which is stressful enough. Definitely not an upscale place or experience with upscale people.

I visited there earlier this month with my cousin and mom who came there from out of town. Brandi and Akua were friendly and really tried to find out what I liked since I was open to a lot of different styles. Akua was honest with me when something didnt work and wasnt trying to sell me something which I greatly appreciated. I did love that we had the whole store to ourselves which I hadnt experienced at other boutiques. The first half hour was a bust but they tried really hard to find things that worked in the last half hour. Their efforts were amazing and I did end up finding things that could work with my venue. Unfortunately, I ended up picking another dress somewhere else but I wanted to write a review because they were extremely helpful and Id recommend them to other future brides.

I have not had the entire experience with Posh Bridals as its only been a week since I chose my dress; However, I still cant get over its beauty and the excellent service my family, friends, and I received from Akua. She was very attentive to exactly what I wanted and willing to bend over backwards to help me find the perfect dress, even staying almost an hour later than the closing time of the store and letting us all enjoy champagne (which I have not had that pleasure in the other stores). This was the 6th place I went to in my search for the perfect dress and not once did I feel as though she or the other consultant was trying to sell me like I was pressured to (this is a one time deal/you love this dress, lets go ahead and buy it/etc.) elsewhere. Akua let me try on two dresses that I was considering about 4 times each which really made me feel confident that the decision was all mine. I ended up picking the third dress I tried on and am obsessed with it. They have a ton of different styles and the prices were totally fair. I also really liked that the time allotted for me was reserved and we had the entire store to ourselves. My dress wont come in for a few more months so I dont know what to expect until then but for an amazing experience while looking for your dress, I absolutely recommend Posh Bridals. Ask for Akua!

The saleswoman who helped me seemed less than shrilled. She was condescending and annoyed the entire time. They are tiny and have very few options. The carpet is dirty and left shortly after arriving. I wouldnt recommend.

Absolute gorgeous gowns and attentive staff! I bought my wedding dress from Posh this past year. I was made a priority from the moment I arrived and Lindsay helped me find my dream dress! I felt beautiful and confident every time I came back for alterations with Audra! We also used Posh for my moms dress and the men’s suits! They all looked stunning!
