Very nice sales person, my experience him has always been good. I was in awheel chair he came over to where I was and pushed me to the isle I needed a item .He helped me the item I needed and suggested a shorter cord for what I came to the store and rang my item up.I told him I would bring it if it wasnt right. He told me to take a picture of my computer monitor, he pushed me out to my car. That was goodCustomer service.

Best Buy,I am super disappointed with the services I was offered. I purchased a home theater and scheduled for installations. The first tech comes out and tells me that he was just there to survey the basement and left. I had to call him and got no return calls for 3 days. I ended up calling his manager and then I got a call back. He asked me to go to Frederick location and asked to talk to a manager. We went there on Sunday this week and he set up 2 appointments for today and tomorrow to install the parts. My wife has been sitting home and they never called us. I had to call 3 times to finally get someone on the phone who told me the parts are not in and we have to reschedule. They kept me on hold to reschedule and line got sent back to the beginning asking me why I was calling…. I am absolutely frustrated with this! Please help!!!!

The worst Best Buy store, bar none. Every time I have purchased from this store, I have had to returned for refunds. Staff is either not available, not knowledgeable and dont listen. Management is worse. The last purchase I bought a simple charger, got home and found the sales guy gave me an empty box, this after I had just returned items for a refund. The best I can say is cashiers seem prompt. Shop elsewhere.

Pre ordered an item 3 weeks in advance. Went to pick it up and was told they didnt have it yet. Both customer service and manager stated that it wasnt their fault with a sorry bout your luck attitude. The young man who helped me was the only decent part.

Prepare to waste your entire day if you get a delivery from this company. Twice now I have ordered products to be delivered they do not show up on time.The staff inside the store is friendly and is the only reason I am giving them a 2 star their delivery service is horrible.

I purchased an open box computer but unfortunately it was in demo mode so I could not use it for 3 days. I was so irritated because I took it to a different best buy to remove the demo mode and it wasnt done correctly. Had to return the computer altogether. Not a good experience. The manager did make things right eventually.

I was looking for a ethernet-to-USB 2.0 cable. There was no one who helped me too look for it. Even when I asked someone, they just told me - yeah, it might be there, may be not, keep looking. When I found the aisle where such cables are located (i.e. ethernet, HDMI, USB etc.), there was none that I was looking for. Im not visiting this store in-person in the future. They couldve just told me to go online and tell me that these cables might not be in stock at the store. Too bad its not possible to give 0 star.

Today, my mom and I walked into Best Buy hoping to buy a new laptop and memory system. We walked out empty handed and reminded of the biases our country still holds on to. When with my dad, there are usually several sales people that ask if we need help. Today, that was not the case. My mom and I were intently looking at laptops for over 20 minutes without anyone approaching us. At face value, thats fine! It was fairly busy. Yet, when we looked around, we noticed 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙡𝙠𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙙 𝙖 𝙜𝙪𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥𝙚𝙙. For some reason, the sales people did not consider us serious buyers... I even made eye contact with two employees and was still not approached. After twenty minutes sifting through laptops, we decided to head home empty handed. Also, theres a huge price markup between Best Buy and individual retailers! At the end of the day, we got more help from an electronic chat box on Lenovas website than from anyone in Best Buy. All we got from Best Buy was a reminder of what it means to be a woman in America: youre not taken as seriously as our male counterparts.

BUYER BEWARE: Frederick store Employee misrepresented warranty of an item I purchased & managers refused to exchange it when item was defective LESS THAN 30 DAYS after purchase. I’ve never encountered misrepresentation and rigid return policies like this at Best Buy previously & it won’t happen again because I’ll never step foot inside this store in the future. Thankfully their products can be purchased cheaper elsewhere

They were busy in the electronics department with one person working. Shakeeb took his time with the customers and answered all their questions and worked as patiently and effectively as he possibly could. I was very impressed with his knowledge of all the televisions and he offered all possible discounts on the various tvs, etc. that Best Buy was offering. Even though I had to wait my turn awhile, Shakeeb was worth the patience. Ill be back. Thank you for a great experience. :)

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM MOBILE DEPARTMENT—first time I set up my mobile account was great, recently went for an Upgrade was greeted by a young guy Mr.Gerardo in the Mobile department. He kept looking at his watch the entire time. I felt rushed His undertone was very dismissive, yes I know it’s 30Min to closing but help me. He then made up a story of a fictitious restriction on my account I quickly found out was A Lie after getting off the phone with sprint. He followed up by saying I needed a deposit wouldn’t say the Amount then said the system was unable to process my upgrade. Which is shocking since I set up my account up at that specific location. Brandon Duck was absolutely unhelpful, stating “yea their expert’s it can’t be done sorry goodnight!..I went to another Best Buy next morning had a successful upgrade no best experience they apologized for the treatment at my home store. No one cared, that’s what left the worst impact. 30min to closing they wanted to go home. Definitely worth traveling to another Best Buy. AVOID THIS BEST BUY WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!….

Im not a big fan of best buy generally, but this is a great location. The geek squad there have gone above and beyond what they needed to do for me several times and given me great advice. And once, when I was checking out, the cashier pointed out to me that the product I was buying had a hole in its packaging and asked if Id like to exchange it.There was a long line behind me, too. It would have been much easier to just let me buy it.Anyway, a great location, I highly recommend it

I needed a simple power cable for a PC computer yet it took 3 different employees pointing me to different areas of the store to find it. I ended up finding it on my own in an area not a single person told me it would be in. I’m not trying to spend hours in a store during a pandemic I want to be in and out quick as I can and uninformed employees sending me on wild goose chases is pretty much unacceptable in these times. Do better.

Ive been in this store many times and they are usually helpful however I have tried to call the store numerous times and they do not answer the phone. I cannot drive to the store every time I need a quick answer about something they have there. This has been at all times of the day and agin MULTIPLE times. Just puts you into music for eternity.

Due to a major delay in sending the order to the service delivery carrier, the order was not received until the day after the promised date.Also, phone support gets a ZERO as the store was NOT accepting calls leaving the caller talking to a recording.

Terrible customer service. I sent back a few orders and still have not received my refund. I have everything documented and contacted their customer service and the issue has not been resolved and the refund has not been issued. After 4 hours on the phone and not getting anywhere with customer service I stopped by the Frederick location for assistance. I spoke to Matt (assistant manager) about a week ago who said he would look into the issue and get back to me. Its been a week and he still has not gotten back to me. If you tell a customer you are going to look into an issue you should follow through and take care of it. Just simply bad customer service.

I went to get help with my cellphone, which is about 26 months old. AT&T wont help except to try to sell me a new phone.A friend had given me a gift card, and I was going to go to the Best Buy Geek Squad to see if I could get some help. But, the security guard at the door would not even let me in the door! He took my phone, punched a bunch of keys and said it probably was just old. And basically said that I could do the repair myself. Duh! If I could fix it myself, I would not have driven 70 miles round trip to the nearest Best Buy! I am over 70, with a broken foot, and do not have access to either wifi or a computer since the libraries are still closed. I do not have an engineering degree, or access to a computer science engineer or someone in their 20s. AT&T, who sold me the phone, is only interested in charging me my monthly service fee and/or selling me a new phone. My younger friends keep telling me its so easy to do the fix myself that they just blather on into six other topics. I bought my last laptop from Best Buy ten years ago....and never got another one when it died after about 3 years. Now I recall why. I give Frederick Best Buy one star because I did get a good parking space. But, gee, I will never go to this store again. So, I was not dressed to the nines, I carried a purse with my asthma meds, which I would have willingly opened, if I had been asked, I was wearing a mask, and was old enough to be the guys grandmother. I really felt like going back and asking for a manager, but figured, Why bother? What a waste of time!

So disappointing. This location doesnt answer the phone at all. Not even once in a while. $1200 delivery to store very late, still no traction - had to call national customer service # and change delivery option. Still shocked that calling literally 20 times in 3 days at various times during the days, waiting on hold for up to 20 minutes multiple times through automated system hell - they never answered. Its not that theyre busy - their customer service ethic is rotten. Why cant a person leave a msg and have a call returned? Why cant the person who sits at the door all day answer the phone? Hire a person to answer the phone. Ive gone into this store and plenty of associates arent busy. Some are. Many are not. Use a different Best Buy or, better, a different store. My experience has been nothing but frustration and dealing with behavior close to fraud.

I bought a samsung active watch. I really like it so far. The band is really smooth against your skin. I like it because it has many options. You charge it by laying your watch on the charger. Not like the fit bit i had where the charger would wear out from me plugging it in. The yellow at the bottom on the one picture showed snoring because i was not moving. Love it so far. Still loving this compared to the fitbit. Which i owned many of. This watch has reminders to help you get up and move. If you want more info just ask.I still like this samsung active watch. 11272020. Sometimes it detects you walking or running and starts keeping track of your steps bpm the time the weather and battery lifeIt has alot of features on it. You can connect blue tooth you can answer phone on watch but not talk on it. You have to use your phone

Went in to buy a webcam. They had the one I wanted and I remember them price matching competitors. It was 11/25. They had a sign stating no price matches 11/27-30, understandable. Office Depot was selling the same model for $20 less. The associate pulled it up and was trying to process the order for the price match. A man in a yellow shirt who I assume is a supervisor, came over and proceeded to tell me no price matches from 11/22-30. Mind you he was saying this with the posted dates in sight, directly in front of him. When I pointed it out, he literally told me “that’s what Black Friday does to you.” I said I would go to Office Depot instead and expressed I was disappointed. The man in the yellow shirt shrugged and moved along. The associate looked surprised at this interaction. Another woman who I spoke to happen to see that interaction and ended up leaving as well. What a terrible customer experience over $20.

Although it was a little bit crowded, and there was only a little bit of a wait. Since I had chosen what I wanted online - once I got in there I was able to show it to the salesperson and he was able to get it very quickly. He made a couple good suggestions and before we knew it I was packed up and ready to go. This particular trip, it was a great stop. We got a refurbished Chromebook touch screen for under 300 bucks. And this was a nice model not your cheapy one. Definitely it was worth the trip, two thumbs up.

When she attempted to exchange the watch for an identical watch of a different color she was told it would be an additional $50 because the watch had been purchased on sale and it was no longer on sale. The people in the store have been great. However, I purchased what was meant to be a new computer. It already had a profile on it and I had to return it. I decided to upgrade for a variety of reasons. The new computer I purchased started having a vibration in the screen. I updated drivers and temporarily fixed it. It started again worse. Geek squad couldnt help the first time. Calling for support is a nightmare! There is almost no way to get a real human. And when you buy a NEW product, or TWO NEW products in this case, i believe they should work!

Went to visit Geek Squad. Tech advised me laptops purchased not at a Best Buy have to be shipped by the customer to the Geek Squad service center. No biggie since the tech provided all the shipping material I would need and the number to call to start the repair order. Very pain free, and UPS came by and picked up the box too

You are better off with other online retailers. The stores are not very packed, and the employees act as if they work for RadioShack. The products are not stocked; this is the case in Hagerstown, Frederick, Gaithersburg. I hear from associates just about every week that they get restocked, but certain products sell out fast. (if you are building a system under $2000, they will have only 2 selections, if in stock).So, how is it that on two pallets of merch, you guys have only 1 audio receiver in the whole store? Why do your associates avoid customers and have us listen to their personal life? How is it that the only subwoofer that is kept stock, is only available open box and wa1m@rt?If you really care about your hobby, avoid best buy. If you are looking to buy a movie, avoid best buy; they probably dont have it.But if you are looking for a TV that other multi-talented stores do have, this is the place. Because they lack the serious stuff and any helpful personel.
