Right on the cities Main Street you’ll find many unique and awesome shops! Most have great Knick knacks and other items. Only savory spice shop has the most unique flavors to add to anything. As you can see with the pictures this cute store has everything separated from BBQ, to salts, to spice from around the world etc.The best part is you can sample EVERYTHING!! You just have to ask one of the numerous workers there, they’ll pull it down for you and you can try it! You can buy a small pouch of it up to a big jar, and practically every size in between!!No wonder they have 5 stars!

The Whisky Barrel Smoked sugar is divine. I cold smoked organic Florida Crystals sugar in attempt to capture some of that magic and mine is smoky, but no nuance. Everything is premium priced, but the experience is a lot of fun. You can sample most of the products!

I was just there for my second time, visiting from NY. The place is amazing. They let you taste the spices before you buy. There are so many to choose from but tonight I just tried their Franklin Five Points spice on chicken. I sprayed a bit of olive oil spray and put it in air fryer. Well now I am going to order some to be shipped, It is soooo good. Never tasted anything like it. Great store, amazing choices and terrific staff. I will be visiting there again in September and will be sure to get more spices.

To begin, I love to cook and if I’m not working or keeping up with other commitments in my life, you’ll find me in the kitchen, cooking a up a storm whether it’s my grandma’s signature recipes or something new I saw on a popular cooking outlet. I’ve heard all about your store from my sister and during my visit we popped in for a visit and couldn’t believe the exquisite selection of spices, sauces, seasoning blends, sugars and much more, as far as the eye could see!!! Not only was I in my element, it would take a lot to pull me away from this incredible little shop. The selections are not only original, but they cater to so many pallets and cover accents of the south to flavors on the other side of the world!! Your staff was so helpful, and even with the epidemic, took into mind their guests and took every measure of caution to safely sample the items, along with making sure the customers needs were met!! Mine certainly were and being my first time here, I spent more money than I should have, but don’t regret one cent of it!!! I was able to sample so many different things and it was so hard to make up my mind, but the staff here took such great care of me and had such patience with my indecisiveness. I am looking forward to all the new recipes to try out and can’t wait to take dinner to the next level!!! Ive always had a very good experience at this place until this past weekend. The manager on duty was not only rude and abrupt with me, but also to the staff. There is absolutely no reason to talk down to or humiliate your staff and definitely not in public. Be nice - it doesnt cost you anything. #uncomfortable #benice

I really love this shop and their goods. I have been shopping there regularly since they opened. Everyone is nice and the store is usually busy. My only issue is that it is very difficult to actually buy something these days. The last couple of times I have been in, I ended up leaving after waiting for a about 15 minutes to get help to make my purchase.

I love this store! They have a wide selection and I love that you can taste most before you buy. I also like that their bottles are refillable. I just stopped in to refill my dried shallots jar and pick up some taco seasoning. It all adds flavor to whatever you are cooking up. Do not forget the cocoa! They have a few varieties that make wonderful pudding or hot chocolate.

This place is great for serious foodies and cooks. The staff is very friendly and personable. They know everything about the slice selection and offer great suggestions. It is a wonderful place to visit and find gifts. Please keep in mind the have seasoning and spices from all over the world, so they can accomedate and and every palate. If you are smell sensitive (dont like strong scents) or not a cooking/ food person this may not be a fun place. However if you know or love a foodie this is a great place to find them a gift for any occasion.

My favorite spot to visit in Franklin! You can taste anything in the store. Lots of great rubs and international spices to change up any dish. Try the Memphis BBQ rub. The local rubs we cant keep in stock in our kitchen!

Wonderful shop with an extensive collection of sweet and savory spices. They have a sample container you can shake a little bit from to taste. What you dont want, you drop on the floor. Its a really neat way to try out new spices. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

They are so friendly here and they do a fantastic job at helping you pick out spices for the different meats you may be cooking!! Very knowledgeable and very patient! It is always so busy when I go here! I have learned the key is to go when they first open!

This place is SO COOL!! First of all, they stayed open after closing just so us tourists could browse, which is incredibly nice! Second, you can smell or taste anything there, and just discard the leftovers on the ground for them to sweep up, which is again, incredibly nice. Third, they have spices here for EVERYTHING. I hate salad, so I bought a spice to put on it to make it more enjoyable to eat. You REALLY NEED TO COME HERE.

Savory Spice Shop is one of the best places to shop in Downtown Franklin! The staff is very helpful and I always walk out happier than when I walked in! Not only is everything delicious but they make it such a fun shopping experience!

They have some of the best spices. I was able to find the most BEAUTIFUL Madagascar and Mexican Vanilla Bean. Some of the spices are a little up there but they have truffle mixed with salt which is amazing! They have all different time of meat rubs also different sauce mixes like mole.

This is a wonderful shop for anyone who enjoys cooking and entertaining. They stock great items for gifts and many local products. Everyone at the shop is friendly and helpful. And the products are excellent. I have replaced my entire spice drawer with Savory Spice herbs, spices and seasonings and you can really tell the difference.

This is one of my favorite shops in historic downtown Franklin. Love the smell inside the store and the spices are affordable. You can find anything youre looking for and the staff is very helpful and friendly. My faves are Catanzaro herbs, Peruvian Chile lime & parmesan pesto. I also love that you can get local honey, cinnamon sticks and cocoa powders. The shop has everything youd need & spices youve never hear of you should be brave enough to try.
