This an amazing store, with a wide selection of product. The staff is very interactive and knowledgeable. Ive interacted with Jake quite a bit, and hes usually interested in what youre buying, and can hold a good conversation about it. They offer good trade-in value (currently offer 70% of value if you trade in your MTG singles for their singles), and their prices are quite reasonable!

This location is a fantastic game and hobby store to shop and play at. The entire staff is very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The shop is very organized and clean. Theres a wide variety of games and player communities such as Warhammer Flames of War, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathereing and so many other games. Every player Ive dealt with has been super friendly, fun and welcoming. They have an amazing in-store selection when it comes to buying used cards, new cards, models, supplies for your models, board games, etc. This is the place to play and shop if youre interested in these sorts of things.

I thought that this was a well organized and well stocked store. Their offering of card sleeves was good. Play space appeared more than adequate.The service really stood out to me. I asked about a hard to find game that Ive been chasing around the midwest. The employee that approached me to help had never heard of it, but he searched their inventory, the distributor site, and called a nearby competitor to help me find a copy. I would call that above and beyond. Well deservi g of 5 stars in my book.

Ive been into this location a few times and loved it! The staff I talked with were really nice, the place was clean, and it had a good selection of games of a variety of types. There is a big area for gaming, and my husband I are going over there for International Tabletop Day on April 11th. There was an event happening the last time I was there, and there were many people participating as well as other customers coming into the store. This is a great place for your gaming needs!

A nice place to game. The employees wont breath down your neck just to make a sale, and they have a great selection. No doubt the best in the area.

Far too specialized. They dont even seem to have a chess board or traditional board games. We were not greeted by anyone during our 20 minute visit. I even stood by the counter waiting to ask if they carried what I was looking for. I ended up going to the board game barrister. They were very helpful and I had no issues finding what I was looking for.

Great local gaming store! The employees are both well informed and extremely helpful. The store has multiple events and gaming opportunities each week and they are willing to special order products they dont ha e in stock.

They carry lots of unique games, I think you can find just about everything here. Staff is nice and they have tables for gaming in the store.

The premiere place to go for tabletop gaming of all sorts.. Its reaching the point where youll probably have to place a reservation for a table, because its getting so full in there these days.

If youre a casual magic player stay away. Theres a group of regulars here who are hard core magic afficionados. Normally this wouldnt be a bad thing but they seem to enjoy preying on newcomers. I played here a handful of times and cant say I had fun once. On top of this one of these regulars outright knowingly ripped me off in a trade as his buddies watched. I understand its your responsibility to know what your cards are worth but on top of the cliches and uninviting atmosphere I wish I could give 0 stars. Definitely wont be returning to give them business. Check out board game barrister down the street. WAY MORE FRIENDLY.

Nice staff, different sort of selection than the Brookfield location. Staff really wanting to help find what I was looking for. Was able to browse freely without feeling rushed.

Third week attending Emilys Board Game Demonstration and had a blast as always. Quite a few different games available to try out for free on Monday nights as well. Only complaint is not quite as much of a selection as another local game store but other benefits make up for that. See you again soon!

It makes me sad to give this shop this rating. This used to be my favorite shop. Matt was such a friendly and helpful guy. However, since hes left, the atmosphere of the shop has become cold and uninviting. The guy who is usually in charge of the shop doesnt want to help and hes occasionally rude. I really miss Matt. Ive since found a new shop to play at.

Ive been to a lot of game stores in the area, this is my preferred one for miniatures and paintings. They have a great selection of board games but they excel at their table top RPG offerings. There is a plethora of dice and a wall of miniatures. They also carry MSP paints which have become my go to. I havent interacted much with staff as I usually know what Im wanting but they seem friendly and polite.

I was just in this store. I am trying to build a magic deck and when I walked in I told the man behind the counter and his response was theyre in the case, not really in any order After 15 min of walking around not finding what I was looking for the guy was more concerned about chatting on Facebook (I was the only one in the store and could hear the chat sound as he was typing) then helping me. NOT helpful at all!

I have made a lot of good friends here and this place has absolutely everything and theres always something new. Its an overall awesome place.

The staff is great. I enjoy coming for FNM and playing X-wing at the stores. I will be back for more of the magic events and when possible show up for a X-wing event

Games Universe (Franklin) is a hobby game shop. (Hobby games are not typically found in places like Target or Wal Mart.) They carry many board and card games as well as a plethora of CCG’s. (They sell CCG singles’ too.) There is a play area in the center of the store where tournaments are held. When not in use for a tournament the area can be used for players of any games. Finally, they carry a very wide variety of dice that can be purchased individually or in bulk. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Parking is easy and the store is handicap accessible.

I used to play AD&D 2nd edition and then got away from the game for a while. I went into the Franklin Game Universe with my daughter (it was her idea to stop in there) and noticed a group playing the D&D 5th Edition which sounded a lot like 2nd edition. I spoke with store employee Rob who was very helpful and got me, and my daughter, excited to play. We are now regular gamers on Tuesday and Wednesday nights!

Well that will be the last time we ever enter that store. They allow their Legacy players to run the store. I go to learn not to be told what to do and told with an attitude problem. First he sat by us second you have a problem with noise then DONT play in public.
