I love going to the Coffee House in Franklin. I always feel happier when Im there. The staff are so friendly and the service is very good. The music is also uplifting and a joy to listen to. Each room has its own vibe with interesting things to look at on the walls. The house is very old and has tons of special character. I sometimes spend the morning working there remotely with my laptop and Ill get the Breakfast Burrito and a large Iced Coffee. I also love the Blueberry Iced Tea and all of the freshly made muffins. I have heard it through the grapevine that they may have Cold Brew again soon and so I am looking forward to that. Let the Coffee House soothe your soul...it definitely soothes mine.

Quaint, adorable, cozy little coffee house. Rooms that will transfer you back in time to a simpler place. The coffee is absolutely amazing and the staff makes you feel at home.

Don’t come hungry.While the setting is nice and there is plenty of seating and the coffee is tasty be careful what you order from the menu.I do not recommend the Breakfast Burrito in particular. It was lacking majorly in flavor. I am not even sure it was salted.I’ve had a few dishes from here and after visiting a couple times I think they need to simplify their menu and focus on quality. Especially when the establishment and service is so nice.

This is where we started a successful company. We met here every Sunday morning to strategize the business until covid. Great place and awesome service.

I used to love this place but not anymore.While the coffee is good the kitchen is a mess.I ordered food online for pickup. I ordered it at 11:20 am, pickup time was 11:45. I show up late at 11:55 to pick up my food and it still isn’t ready. 10 mins of standing there they bring it out. The staff did not include a fork, so I had to run back and ask for one. “$16 worth of food” and this is what I got. Scrambled eggs that looked like a crepe, and one piece of toast cut in half. I wish I had just gone to a truck stop for lunch. This is ridiculous.

Local roasted coffee with house-made baked goods goods and food. Enjoy the cute atmosphere inside, murals, plants, and decor, or enjoy swinging on the porch or sitting outside in the sun.

Love the Coffee House, but lately the air freshener is SO strong in the bathroom (which is bad enough and very toxic) that you can smell it near the register area. Can you please consider using 100% pure essential oils to scent the bathrooms? Those air fresheners you are currently using are extremely bad for health and also just dont smell good at all. In a time like this, its so important to promote health for all so I hope you will strongly consider using a truly non toxic air freshener in the bathroom ASAP!!! Thank you! Really cool little place! Drinks and variety is great. The little house is super cool, in that its unchanged in its structure, with multiple dining/sitting/chilling rooms throughout. Just a couple blocks away from the Main St crowd, so not tough to find, but not crowded with tourists. Staff is super friendly. Well be back!

One of my favorite coffee shops in Franklin! Every cup has been a quality cup plus their pastries hit the spot. What I love most about this shop is that it welcomes you to sit down for a while, talk with friends, finish some work, and contemplate your thoughts.

Small coffee house set in an older home in Franklin made for a very pleasant breakfast. Crepes are a good choice along with the American breakfast.

The food and drinks are delicious! The variety of rooms inside allows for a more intimate or group setting depending on where you sit. Id recommend this shop to any coffee drinkers in or visiting the area.

This was my first time here! What a cute place! Coffee was great! They use a local coffee roaster, Bongo Java. (Which is excellent!) I had a Cuban which was great! I also had their bacon and egg sandwich which had French toast and the bread portion of the sandwich. The sweetness of the French bread really enhanced the entire sandwich. The employees were very friendly and helpful and the ambiance was very warm and welcoming. Ill be back as soon as possible!

Enjoyed this place for breakfast. Love the tons of little rooms and sitting spaces.But the crowning achievement is the crepe. The crepe itself is the best I have had. I have been to Tandem in Greenville and all over Paris.But here in Franklin Tennessee is my current world champion (shown is the Quattro formaggio)

This place is awesome! I have driven their twice from 40 minutes away...and ZERO regrets! Best chicken salad of my life, and I would say I get it A LOT. My sons BLTA was superb. Great space to relax and connect with others, the iced coffee was REALLY good. (I have traveled extensively all over the country, and I am a 6-8 cups a day guy, so I value my take on their coffee. :) ) This just became, easily, my favorite coffee with some food spot in the the middle Tennessee area. Staff was crazy friendly too. Very impressively ran.

I’ve been to The Coffee House several times before and have always had a great experience. Today, however, I did not have the best experience. I decided to come here for breakfast to have a special meal for my birthday, which is today. I placed my order to-go and found a nice table outside where I sat down to wait. After waiting 30 minutes, I went to the counter to ask if they would be bringing the order outside to me or if I should wait inside for it (since I had ordered it to-go). She said they would bring it out to me, so I went back outside. After another 25 minutes, I went back to the counter and told them I had been waiting for almost an hour and was wondering if they could check on it to make sure the order hadn’t been lost. The barista, who was very kind and friendly, went to check back in the kitchen and came back to tell me that my order was there on a shelf at the counter and handed it to me. She apologized for the delay. I have no idea how long the order had been there on the counter before I asked about it, but I definitely wish they had come outside to let me know that it was ready especially since the other barista had told me that it would be brought out to me. Hopefully my crepe will still be fresh and yummy as it usually is!

Such a cute little place with a great variety of drinks and food!! We got strawberry and Nutella crepes, and a breakfast burrito. I also had a vanilla latte. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be back!

Great shop. Small, local, tasty, and the people are amazing!!! Parking isnt great, but that is symptomatic of everywhere downtown. Theyve made a great handicap spot that really helped my family during an event. Love it! And. . . Art was available for purchase, from small to big. Great atmosphere.

Last month we celebrated a birthday at the Coffee House and the staff really made it feel like a special occasion! One family member is immunocompromised and the Coffee House took extra precautions during the pandemic to ensure the library room was properly cleaned. We had a wonderful breakfast knowing the staff really cared about the safety of our family. I couldnt recommend this place enough - great food and coffee, and wonderfully attentive staff. Five stars!!

Great atmosphere, amazing coffee, newly painted, close to all the events happening in downtown Franklin, located just down the street from The Harpeth Hotel. New sidewalks!Really great menu and extremely accommodating for group events and catering. Fresh, homemade desserts and delicious food! I had the avocado toast with eggs. Totally delicious! They offer gluten-free breads too. Nice size portions and cozy tables to enjoy your meal. They have an amazing outdoor seating area. Perfect place to grab a coffee and then walk to Bicentennial Park or the shops along Main Street. The addition of The Harpeth Hotel has really increased the flow of customers into the coffeehouse. Kid friendly too! Be sure to catch either breakfast or lunch here the next time you are in town! Super friendly staff!

For my mother’s 60th birthday, we could not figure out what to do. With the pandemic deterring most ideas to actually coming to fruition, we knew we had to be smart about our plans - in comes the coffee house. We explained our very unique situation and finally, a celebration worth having came to light. The staff at the Coffee House set up a private room for all 5 of my family, and even accommodated a serious dietary restriction. With the ease and comfort of being away from any crowds, and having a DELICIOUS breakfast, my mother could not have asked for a more beautiful and tranquil birthday morning. Thank you so much to the staff here; always kind, and smiling. With the fantastic coffee, and truly delicious food, you will make this a staple in your weekly routine.

This little coffee shop is amazing! It has a wonderful small atmosphere with local art posted. I am not a huge coffee person, but I really enjoyed their ice coffee with almond milk. Also, you CANNOT go wrong with their lox and eggs! It was truly delicious and came out very fast. This is a perfect cozy little place to get just coffee or grab grab food. Indoor seating and a little bit of outdoor seating if the weather permits.

To the point you find yourself sitting on the patio with your amazing breakfast and coffee, looking up homes for sale nearby questioning if this really is just a visit on a trip or somewhere you should move too. Real breakfast food done fresh and to order. My GF had the American breakfast and they made me a vegan potatoe hash with onions, spinach and tomatoes. Great coffee and the muffins are made daily. Vegan spice muffin was amazing.

I have been coming here since high school and now I am out of college! Great place to study or meet up with friends. I live out of state now, but make sure to stop by whenever I am in town. The crepes are amazing!

This is a warm and inviting place for study, a conversation or business meeting. Free WiFi. They make great coffee with free refills if in a house mug. The gluten-free muffins are some of the best around. There are 2 rooms you can reserve for meetings [free the 1st hr; $50 per hr after the first.]Parking lot is tight, but usually available street parking.

Super cute ambiance, every room is nicely decorated and feels very cozy. Wait was rather long for a breakfast sandwich, which was okay, a bit dry and very salty. Default option is to get paper cups for coffee and plastic cups for water, but can give you a glass and a ceramic cup if asked. I know plastic is cheap, but would love to see an upscale coffee shop like this one starting to take a lead and educate consumers on reducing environmental footprint.

Favorite spot for after church coffee and food. 5 star experience all around. Turkey sandwich is the truth.

This place is awesome. It has a great, unique charm. The layout is a refreshing change from the typical coffee house. The Bongo coffee is organic and fair trade, plus they have an entire food menu. Given the food options, its almost a cafe that has exceptional coffee. Live music was starting just as I had to leave.Definitely stop by, The Coffee House has something for every time of day and taste. Plus Mike Lemon, the owner, is a super nice guy.

I grew up in this house. They have made it beautiful and it was owned by my great grandmother Mary Elizabeth Beard. One of the only original homes in that area. Precious Memories.

This is a large house turned into a coffee shop. There are lots of rooms to sit in and talk, study, or even have meetings. It has character without being overly dramatic. The coffee is good and service is typically just right. It is a mellow place overall.One bit of advice, if you are coming to study or read, some headphones are a good idea. This is an old house with wood floors to voices do carry a bit. That said, there is a particular room to look for where this isnt as much the case.My favorite room is right as you are walking in. There is a hearth and books everywhere. If that room is occupied for a meeting, look for the room with old records on the wall- there are couches in there making the perfect place to relax and chat.Enjoy!

Looks very nice, and very good service. My family and I had the owner come up to us and have a conversation and clean our plates, all the while we had Alyce Merin singing for us, and her voice is amazing! The food was great, and my coffee was awesome. The atmosphere was also amazing. They had a meeting room, a regular eating room where Alyce was singing, a couch room with some very comfortable chairs, and a kids room with a bunch of toys and a train table! The atmosphere was overall amazing. I highly recommend this place to eat, hang out, or just to stop and get a cup of coffee.

I used to love this place. I support local. But when I went in yesterday an employee came out of the kitchen with no PPE. Needless to say I got a refund for the food I ordered. I won’t be back anytime soon.

So, this place has a home feel. Not like an eating at the table with family type feel. More of a grab sandwiches and chips and a tea and crash in the living room with friends while eating in your favorite chair. The food is good. The coffee selection is pretty good too. Its in a very aesthetic part of downtown Franklin, the views are great and its easy to walk around before or after you eat.
