Just went for bunny food and bedding, but I love Rural King. They almost always have baby chicks and bunnies. Staff is super friendly and quick to answer any questions.

I always purchase my pet food at Rural King. They always have the cheapest food and the biggest bags. Cheaper than Walmart and the dollar stores.

Great place as always, but I think I did notice. If you need a battery they have a great selection & the prices are fantastic. I had checked on a battery for one of my cars and it was $ 35.00 /40.00 dollars higher at acouple of other places. With winter coming in afew months you should check this out. Also saw alot on other great deals you could check out.

Very clean store. Today I visited this rural king location for the very 1st time. I was shocked at how Nice this location is. For the most part everything seemed to be Instock, as far as variety and quantity of the products rural king carries. But I am sure I will pass through Frankfort again in the near future, and 100% I will always visit this rural King.

Normally quick service when I am finished shopping. It’s very good for outdoorsy type people. Nice staff and friends people. I love that they allow animals! Could be a little more organized, sometimes I have a hard time finding the items I need or they just don’t carry items. TL:DR nice staff need more merchandise options

Very disappointed in the lack of bird dog equipment. Seems odd a country hardware store, in the heart of bird country, would not carry any.

A good place for your agriculture and homesteading needs. Decent selection of hardware and home goods. Not exactly a one-stop-shop, but if you are interested in sustainability and self sufficiency, this might be your store.

I used to work at RK. And im giving it a 1 star mainly because the corporate owners are paying the second lowest wage in Frankfort and expecting sales and for the store to boom. In reality it causes stress in the work place.

Rural King is a great place to go to find several needs. They have always been the cheapest place to find a good car or lawn mower battery. If you dont know already, they sell huge bags of popcorn so you can make it the good old fashioned way and even have several choice oils and salts or cheeses to choose from to sprinkle on for the finishing touch. If you have a dog this is a great place to buy shots for you family canine that will save you a bundle yet keep your dog safe. There are far too many great things about Rural King to mention them all so best I can say is go check it out. You are sure to find something you like.

Is good place to shop but my only thing is it was buying a gun and was filling out from on there computer when they where having power issues and one of my answers got changed by computer glitch or when worker was doing some of it to see everything was working the question was Ian buying this gun for me or option Ian buying gun for someone Eleni have bought many guns and would never buy a gun for someone else but being that came up they would not talk to me about it and said I was banned for life from buying guns there and that is some unfair annoying scrap to pull on me.but guess they dont care!

I love Rural King. Our dog has a eye ulcer and Rural King had the antibiotic eye ointment we needed. Saved us over $40 getting the medication here instead of the veterinarian. Our goto place for shots for our dog too. Saves around $100 on shots if your not scared to give your pets shots yourself. Still no popcorn in the store :-( because of COVID.

Interesting merge of hardware, groceries, agriculture, firearms, toys and clothes. But best is the staff. Had something that fell off the shelf next to me and clattered on the floor. Immediately a staff person came over to see if something was wrong. My wife was at a big box store (starts with a w...) and a few big boxes fell on her and a nearby staff person took one look and ran away. No one ever checked to see what happened. I have also asked several questions in different areas and if the staff person did not have an answer they found one that did.Good firearms selection and the R&R Carpenter pants are good and cheap. Free popcorn. And its fun to watch the little kids over by the chicks. Yes the bitty chickens. Not the cute staff.......Like a small zoo to keeps little ones occupied. Only place I can find the big tub of honey pretzels.

Poor management. When we bought chickens here we lost five the first night. When we went there to get them replaced management tried to make us bring in the dead rotting corpses. After telling them that we will not bring them in and will not take a chance of catching something from the dead birds we decided to call corporate and corporate confirmed dead birds are not allowed back in the store. It was a long drawn out ordeal with the manager. Wont be going back.

A plain & simple farm store.

Bought a car battery a few months ago and it got to the point where it wouldnt hold a charge. Returned it to the store and they swapped it for a brand new battery cheerfully...!

Went to Rural King on Frankfort to see the gun selection. The people at the counter were a great help! Looked at different guns and pricing. Didnt buy one but will keep looking. Bought a great pair of sun glasses there for cheap. Looked around the store great deals. Better buy what you see that you want or it will be gone. Its worth the trip from Lebanon. Go during the week. For the most part the store is a very good store except for the hardware, plumbing and electrical and every bit of that back there is a complete mess, nothing can be found most of the bins are empty and especially all the bins with any commonly used parts and the workers that have been back there do not seem to have any clue about the materials they are attempting to restock or seem to know anything about their departments at all. Have seen the same empty bins of plumbing supplies in the electrical supplies for 6 months to a year at this point and nothing is being done about it and what parts are there are most likely in the completely wrong bins and spaces anyways so it is a complete joke to try and find anything back there. And dont waste your time trying to ask for help because they will flat tell you that they really dont know anything about it

I love shopping here for pool supplies. Reasonably priced. My son enjoys the free popcorn and I can usually get in and out fast.

Never have what I need, never can find help to at least point you in the right direction. Bad experience on three different occasions. I choose to pay more if It even cost more to go to muck creek! Outstanding service. And they will show you exactly where it is...

First the parking lot is atrocious it kind of sets the scene for Rural King.. it is very costly just to do little fixes on things Hardware is very expensive wished we still had Thrifty Supply there is nothing for small animals everything is for the large farm animals not domesticated animals it seems to me and could not get any help looking for help for parts needed for my fence..not sure if I even got the right stuff..30 dollars not well spent

Called ahead to insure the product i needed was in stock, was told that 103 were available so I drove over an hour to buy only to find that the store help could not find any of the item. To top the trip off the manager that I spoke with, a red headed woman, acted like she had some sort of burr under her saddle and couldnt care less if they had the item or not.
