I come into this Thorntons a few times a week in the evenings and everyone I have come across has been so nice! Both Daniel and Angel have made me feel extra welcome and always make it a point to see how their customers are doing and actually wait for a response. In my experience, in retail, that is very rare to come by. Dont ever let those two go!

Open 24 hours, nice store, until someone drove thru it. Still open during the remodel, gas and a limited supply of other stuff thru a kiosk on the side.

Good mix of hot foods. Friendly service.

They have a sign telling customers that a face covering is required to enter but I observed the old female clerk serve a young man who was not wearing a face mask. I also saw the clerks use binoculars to watch customers fuel their vehicles. Thats mind boggling! Why would they be doing this?

Clean place, good selections, but every time I get coffee here, its full of grounds.

Thortons is akways clean and has friendly staff, i love the little ice cream an snack station its one of the best little gas stations!

Very nice pit stop next to Fox Lake. Clean, well organized inside. The staff were friendly and abided to social distancing. Overall one of the better gas stations around the area.

This place is highly unorganized. Its a very busy location and they dont do a good job managing it. There IS ALWAYS 1 cashier with a line full of people, two other employees making sandwiches/hot deli and two people hanging out in the back room. Eventually they wait till the line is wrapped around the aisles to call for help. The new gas pumps they installed are horrible, it never works correctly! Besides that its a nice location. Staff is always pretty friendly but connie is an angry elf.

The only gas station/mini-mart that I know of that is open 24/7. The employees here are always very friendly and welcoming... In a very convenient location for residents of Fox Lake, Spring Grove, ect. The prices are also competitive and acceptable.

I always like going to Thorntons. They have decently cheap cigarettes, as well as my favorite flavor Monsters at 2 for $4 or 3 for $5. The gas is decently cheap as well as friendly and helpful staff.

Love their crunchy ice, fountain drink prices are amazing, as well as their food very tasty and reasonable prices. Love their 10th item free mix and match programs. Great all around. Love this location.

After taking the wrong train and ending up here. The current night shift, Matt, let us stay in the store for the hour untill a ride showed up. He was great company. It made the time there enjoyable.

Stopped in for a quick bite. 7 people in line, no additional help at counter. Everyone complaining. Two other employees by food area paying no attention to assist customers. Poorly run.

SO THE MANAGER COLLEEN, have a total attitude cause my friend had walked in and said pump 9 and the cashier put it on pump 8 and someone else used the gas she put in. And when we went back up to correct the issue, because she clearly misheard, she continued to whisper under her breathe you know i didnt have to fix that for you unbelievable.

I have complained several times to the management and all employees. They have a serious problem with fruit flies I tell them that the donut case is full of fruit flies their way of handling was to turn off the lights in the donut case. You prepare food at your store and its sad. For not only infested in that area there also infested around hot dogs and also all the garbage cans. The village of Fox Lake and also the Lake County health department should close the place down. It is a sad case of management And corporate Management is blind. The reason why turning off lights, so they can still put the donuts in the case and thinking you will not see the fruit flies .

2 hotdogs, $3, and soda $.89 made for a $4.15 lunch with sales tax. Ive had better, but not for that low a price. Gas is pricey, but welcome to Illinois.

Nice gas stations but if you dont like BIG spiders beware. Went there in the evening they were all over the pumps, the keypad, the pillars & the canopy was covered!!!😯 creepy

I had a mobile coupon that i wanted to use on a pack of marlboro. This lady called manager i believe her name is Colleen had this attitude..., i already told her i have a mobile coupon, she canned the pack and said its not working. Thats because she messed up the transaction and when i told her the coupon is gone stated it was expired! I kindly asked her to manually take a dollar off and she refused! Her management skills are non existent. Im not making a big deal over a dollar...she messed up and blamed it on an expired coupon! Fyi....she was training this boy who i, as a customer did not like to see how he was treated! I am a loyal customer to this location till today!

Nice gas station. Lots of fuel pumps so there is usually no wait for fuel. Good selection inside, but there is always a ridiculous wait inside for checking out.

The slushee machines and ice cream machine are ALWAYS out of order. The slushees are either watery or have a terrible taste when they do work. Other than that its clean and organized. The employees at this location never look happy. :-(

Was an everyday stop now i go to the one in volo because the fox lake store is always dirty and never stocked. They go through employees like toilet paper. Employees are always unhappy because they in my opinion arent treated right
