The process of how CubeSmart works is so easy and convenient. I never once had to go in and speak with any of the staff, everything was done online and over the phone. We moved our son down from College Station and while driving down I was able to open an account and gain all access to our unit. The CubeSmart staff had everything waiting for me as soon as I arrived and everything was done without any contact. All the staff that I interacted with on the phone and online were so friendly and helpful the entire time I used this storage unit.I would highly recommend using CubeSmart again and again!

Smaller location, although clean. Only down fall is you have to enter a code each time you enter the climate controlled building unless you turn off the door

We had a storage for around 2 year and never had a single problem. Me and my family travel a lot from state to state and I didn’t have any doubt our belongings were safe. Most secure storage Ive ever used, code required to enter and leave so they can always track who is in and out of the units. Limited time of 6am-10pm prevents overnight theft as well

I was looking for a place to store out of season clothing and misc... Things and found this place. At first very helpful and nice, but a couple a weeks later Im in my storage unit trying to organize and fold clothing (while on the phone with the bank) I was approached by same man who rented me the unit. He clearly said this is a place for storage not folding clothes or doing makeup LOL. He say my makeup bag I keep with me and I have 100s of pallets stored since I do professional makeup so there in my storage. He basically said I cant organize my things and accused me of basically living there Ive only been to the place 3 times in the month granted they were extended times but I dont Drive and was waiting on a ride. I felt soo insulted. He even said costumers were complaining that I was changing in there hahaha not one person was in that building while I was organizing first off second why would I change in a storage unit when I live right behind it I had taking off my jacket and thats what he had thought I was doing. How rude. I will be moving my storage else where.

Poor customer service. The manager was incredibly rude. I took my things to another facility just down the road for $15 less and a better experience.

I initially reserved storage believing it was indoor. Once my unit was ready I went to facility to find it outdoor. Given that situation occurring after hour, I found another company. I called asking politely for refund. Manager informed that he would have to speak with his district manager regarding processing. Hours later I received a move out email without a refund. Whenever I call back to facility Im informed that I will get a call back to resolve. Consumer BEWARE!!!Update: I recieved a partial refund(less than $20), though no service or product was rendered.

Quick, easy, all with no face to face contact. Polite, friendly staff. I moved from a larger unit to a smaller one. I emailed them at 6:30 at night they had me set up and ready to move by 6:00 am the next morning!!

Wonderful experience. Was helped out by Wes. He waited patiently for us to get our insurance forms together and for someone to bring us our lock. He was extremely thorough and very helpful through the whole process. There faculty is nice and very clean. The unit look great, nothing broken. They have a cart to help you move boxes and good lighting throughout. The pricing is good and fair for what you get.

I purchased a storage unit from each of the fort worth texas cubesmart location, thinking they were indoor. After finding out they were outdoor units I respectfully requested refunds. The basswood location provided refund but debited my account the very next day at 2am for the same amount. The north freeway account i believe only refunded me $19. I spent approximately $105-110, never opened unit, never placed anything inside the unit, and only visited one location. I have to receive the rest of my money back just an excuse that it can take some time or I can get an indoor unit at a greater price point.

Sunday 1/12/2020 I rented a unit at CubeSmart. I believed this company was honest. Wednesday 1/22/2020 I received an email stating that my unit had no lock. I rushed to CubeSmart when I arrived General Manager Wes appeared very nervous, he open my unit that now had a lock that belonged to them. He quickly open and went inside extremely odd. All my value belongings were stolen, my unit wasn’t trashed out in fact they kindly moved my stuff around. No other unit was broken into, only the unit that happened to be watch while unloading . When I moved my stuff, Wes was very curious about what I wanted to store . He contact a friend to watch me unload. The next morning i went back, because of how uncomfortable my experience was. I found the same vehicle parked in front of my storage. I asked who he was . And he replied he was GM Wes friend. An estimate of 5,000 was stolen. No other unit was broken into. Only the one that happened to be watch while unloading. I can’t believe companies leave dishonest employees to run a business. As of 1/23/2020 Wes has never asked what is missing or how can he help. In fact when I spoke to him after he was extremely nervous wouldn’t give me a straight face.I give it one star because I have to. BUT PLEASE don’t rent here! I’ve talked to previous customer and sketchy stuff like this has happened to more than one person. So PLEASE be careful of CubeSmart and their employees.

Good service, easy access.Forced Insurance ChargesCustomer service was good, my issue is with the companies forced insurance policy with no prior notification. I have homeowners insurance that covers everything in the storage unit but Im unable to rent a storage unit without purchasing their insurance because I can not produce my homeowners insurance policy due to no prior notice. He would not allow me to purchase the unit and go home to get my policy and return because he said once the $12 insurance fee is changed it can not be refunded.

While the company has a decent payment portal, it may because they want more and more money. I was with them for years. They raised the rent to an untenable level. There are too many options to be as greedy as they are.
