Having just moved to Fort Worth I missed this gem of a building supply business initially. I was only directed this way when I was looking for cedar shingles that adorn the 1940s era home we just bought. Teague Lumber is the only place I have found to carries these in Fort Worth btw. Loews and Home Depot (blessed as they are) tried to sell me a prefab siding product. Teague Lumber is a great surprise and looks and acts like the small town lumber store I left prior to coming into Ft. Worth. You are greeted at the door (CoVid precautions in place!) - they will personally take you to the building and tool supplies you need, and answer all your questions honestly - from helpful advice to no clue. Either way their time and attention is appreciated. They had everything I needed to build a bike workshop in my back yard - except composite shingles for the roof. (The cedar shingles are for the side of the building.) They are my new lumber yard and highly deserving of your business. Regrettably they are nestled right up against the seemingly never ending two-bridge construction project that will connect White Settlement with N Henderson over the railroad tracks. That makes them a bit hard to find randomly, but very much worth the trip. Highly recommend.Oh yes - and they had EVERYTHING on my list, or were willing to get it. Not true for L or HD.

Great customer service, and great prices.. Not only did they have the stain color we needed but they had samples which we could take home to make sure we were happy with the stain color. Thats something the big box store doesnt have.. Glad I found this place.

I have been dealing with Teague Lumber for years, they are without a doubt, the best lumber yard any where. I remember the founder of Teague Lumber, hard working, honest and his integrity always stood out! The fruit does not fall far from the tree with this family owned business. It is nice to walk into a business and you can tell without any postings on the wall that this is a God fearing and a God serving company. While everyone is not family by blood, they have a family bond there. Not only do the employees act like family, they treat their customers like family. I have a tremendous respect for this business and their business practices. You will not go wrong by using Teague Lumber and you wont meet any finer folks that work there.

Steve who works in the lot is always kind and loads my lumber after he secures and bundles the trim. Always a warm welcome from Chris and counter staff. Prices are far better than Lowes and Home Depot and never out of stock. I truly appreciate this company, no matter where you turn your greeted with old fashioned service and quality...rest assured I will be a customer for life.

Great customer service (Ken was super helpful!) and great quality lumber. We shopped around town before coming back here to purchase some cedar for a small DIY project, and no one else’s lumber compared to the quality. That, plus great service, made it worth every penny! We were weary of coming here based on bad reviews..but they were the only place that had what we needed. We showed up and were greeted with smiling faces. The sales people were super friendly and helped us get exactly what we needed. Helped us with measurements and loading. Even the sales clerk was friendly. We will be coming here from now on !

Went to the lumber yard and found more than expected. I am pleased with how the man that runs the place treats his customers.

I wanted to order some specialty sized lumber from them, and it was significantly more expensive than Lowes had quoted me. I ended up not going with them for the lumber, but they saved my hide by having a lot of specialty brackets and hangers that nobody else in town had in stock. Big thumbs up for that.Also, the sales people were very helpful and friendly.

Perfect place to buy all kind of lumber

Bought some #1 2x6 for decking and the quality is terrible. I had to junk 10--15 boards due to large knots, dented boards, and poor quality. I figured paying the extra $2 a board for #1 grade lumber would be worth it, completely wrong, had to go to Home Depot to replace junk boards.
