This place is amazing. There is not a comparable store in the area. The inventory is incredible. The gaming rooms are enormous. If you havent visited, do so tomorrow!

Great staff with lots of knowledge and experience. Dont let the industrial exterior fool you; inside is a gaming paradise for card and table top games of all types. Upon entering youre greeted with their collectors case of memorabilia and enough tables and chairs to keep even the largest Warhammer armies happy. Merch is typical, but card games are where they shine. And if you play one of the big three, ask to see their singles collection. A quick pick into the back room reveals shelves after shelves of cards. The best part is their entire singles inventory is online so you can search and pay through their site, then pick your purchase up in time for your next game. Ive found -my- gaming store.

Today I went in with my husband and one of the staff lied to us about the price of a card we were trading in for in-store credit. I understand profits need to be made but to lie to us that youre selling a $70 card for $35 and giving us $25 for it is deplorable. We even commented on this odd pricing as we had recently checked but didnt think to ask further, we never thought wed be lied to since were regulars.We have plenty of more complaints and out of all of the LGSs Ive been to since I started playing Magic this has been the worst.

Gave me 1/4th of the price of my 2 cards i sold. Do not sell cards to them. They will offer you extremely low price and sell them in stores for double or triple what they paid you. Borderline scammers.

I want to support my LGS! It’s too bad they’re charging scalper prices on Pokémon cards. I understand hard times but charging 60% premiums on sealed product is insane. Battle styles Booster boxes for $160 NOT COOL. Shining fates mini tins were $30! That’s more than triple the price. I bought some dice while there because they had a nice selection. I understand they’re charging more to “prevent” scalpers buying everything but that’s bogus. Surely you can come up with an item limit or something. When they told me they weren’t taking ANY preorders, that’s when I knew they were all aboard the scalper hype train. Preorders is how you guarantee the best pricing on product and that isn’t offered. I’ll try it again later and see if their philosophy changes, but I’m not counting on it. Disappointed.

The manager here is kind of a tool, bad first experience. Lots of warhammer figures though.

I’ve been trying to find a solid card shop for awhile and look no more. It was well worth my drive and the guys working were super helpful and laid back. I got some deals that honestly blew my mind. I literally spent 3 hours in there when I usually can’t stand shopping at one place more than 10 minutes. Takes a lot for me to leave a review, you guys earned it!

The employees made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. At one point someone came out from the back and I asked about a discount and they walked back to find out and didnt come back out even after 10 minutes. Their selection is quite small, especially with deck boxes, playmats, and sleeves. They also didnt inform me until after I completed the orchard that there was a fee for using a CC over a debit card. I will not be going back there.

Great little card shop hangout. Reasonable prices and knowledge. They offer snacks and drinks. The staff is pretty chill, and accommodating. They rearrange the store often enough to give it a fresh feel. They offer enough of a selection to let you branch out to other hobbies, and can usually help with orders for special requests. Worth the time to check them out.

What a great little hidden gem. If you like tabletop games or TCGs, youll really dig this place! Really a much bigger selection than most of their competitors. Will definitely be coming back!

Great store lots of viarity. Friendly and helpful staff. Several tables to play and even some side rooms for board games. My son went in here and they were the only place that had a large quantity of some more rare cards.

My trip here was very pleasant and very fruitful.The staff was very nice and informative, but with my trip comes an encounter with a ogre like creature that smelled of sweaty balls and Doritos mixed with unwashed hands it was very unpleasant. Other then that I had a great time

This game store has plenty of space for gaming, our d&d group meets up every couple of weeks or so. We love the people who work here too - very friendly and always helpful.

Absolutely wonderful store with very polite well behaved MTG players. I try to go every Wednesday I can and havent had a single bad experience. The owner and staff are very nice, knowledgeable people who know their stuff when it comes to the games/get togethers they have planned. Good prices, good games and a generally amazing selection of everything I need magic wise. Would recommend this store

This is the best nerd place to exist ever.

Horrible customer service. This is the third time I have come in the store to buy something and every time I am having to wait on the staff to stop having a casual conversation with the regulars, who were needing nothing at the counter. I stood maybe five minutes in front of the counter waiting to buy a bunch of paint and the rest of the binders. We did not get ringed up until the CUSTOMER noticed me telling my brother I was about to put everything up and walk out of the store. The customer moved to the side and then the staff noticed and ringed us up. I am horribly disappointed. When the store was still on McCart I was given immediate attention for every time I came in. Now that its in Forest Hill the staff apparently do not care to welcome or pay ANY attention to paying customers who are patiently waiting for them.

It is a fun place for hanging out with friends or making new friends, that have similar interests. The staff and regulars are kind and are willing to teach new players, new and exciting games

Been going to evo games for 4 years, they are always very welcoming to new players, not always the calmest people. They sell Magic, Yugioh, and pokemon cards here, But most magic.

Best Game Shop in town

I would recommend this store to everyone. People ste very nice and very knowledgeable.

Excellent cozy shop with great customer service, hands down affordable prices on individual TCG cards decks and accessories. I felt very much at home here, shop is not overly crowded nor loud. Drove from 2 hours away and will drive in again to be a repeat customer. Honest answers to help my deck build, without needing to blatantly upsell anything.

Ive been there in person twice now, friendly service. and a mostly friendly atmosphere.I edit this review after everyone visit. i have had a bad experiece over the phone (was on hold for 30 mins when asking a question about figure paints), but overall i think they are a good store to visit if you are in the area.

First I want to start off by saying I reviewed this shop about 3 years ago and stopped frequently going shortly after. A few months ago several of my friends were talking about playing here and asked if I wanted to go. I declined and explained why. They explained to me that the shop had been under new ownership for about two years and things had changed for the better. I figured I would give them a shot and I have to say I was very pleased and the new ownership and staff were a breath of fresh air on what was once a dark stale place I had no intentions on returning to ever again. I have now been a frequent patron of this shop for a few months now. I wanted to wait to do an updated review until I felt I had given enough time for them to show their goods and bads and Im happy to say its pretty much all goods. The one thing some may say is bad is that they discontinued carrying comic books. While some may think this is bad I actually think it was the correct move because it allows them to focus more on there core clients and dedicate a larger inventory to the core focus of the store. One HUGE improvement is that the new owner has abandoned the old pricing method for the much more fair and reasonable industry standard of pricing. They also have one of the largest inventories of single Magic the Gathering cards in the metroplex and for sure in the Fort Worth area. The player base of this shop is pretty competitive but much more welcoming then our past experiences. Instead of my son dreading going to this shop he now asks to spacificly go here on Wednesday nights. All and all I think change in ownership was fantastic and look forward to being a patron of this shop for many years to come.

Ive been to evolution games before it moved to this new location and its been a favorite place to go to regardless. Cool staff, tournaments weekly and product for sale.

This is the best place for Magic The Gathering in DFW, hands down.

Store hours are monday through Friday open 1500 close 2200. Here Monday at approximately 1510. No sign of any employees. For those of us with tight schedules expecting to have a time limit its inconceivable this business is not open. On time.

What didnt appeal to me most about this place was some of the Yugioh players that come to this shop that are just disrespectful to other players and has made our visits very very uncomfortable many times in the past and nothing has changed for the good since we started going there. If it were their aim to chase out newbs then so be it. Besides the Yugioh players the shop itself is good.

Worst customer service EVER! They also scammed me, I didnt realize it until I got home, and when I went back up there they refused to give me my money. Seriously dont go here, just go to Generation X Games&Comics in Bedford or Apex TCG in Irving.

Pods dont always fire, the staff is immature and generally unknowledgeable about Magic (really more of a Yu-gi-oh store...if that says anything), and the prize support isnt great. I didnt have many positive experiences at this shop. The Super FNM they did was cool, but a lot of stuff is backwards and generally unprofessional imo.

I just moved to the area and this is my closest shop. I have been here several times over the last year before I moved here and have visited several times since.First off I play magic the gathering as well as collect comics and some toys. As does my young son.The staff seems very nice and generally helpful although far less involved in the players area unlike most shops. They mostly man the register which is fine but I feel if they where more involved in the players area then it would prevent issues with people not wanting to come here due to other obnoxious players as stated in others reviews. I have not personally had any issues with this but my son has. No other players want to play with him and blow him off because he is young but when they do finally play him he does well and often wins. If the players where more inviting to new players and helped them instead of shun them then it would grow the game and the stores business as well as there turn out for events. My son askes if we can drive to the shop thats 30 min further due to this.The prices are ok but as a whole most the shops in this area seem very high. Most the shops get there price from star city games which is a site that is generally one of the highest priced stores online where as shops in other areas use tcgplayer which takes 100 (or more) shops and gives you an avg fair market value price which is way more legit. If they where to use a fair market price over the starcity gouged price then it would probably increase there sales and entice more people to buy local instead of online.The stores selection over all for new comics, cards, games, toys, and general merchandise is very nice and the store is always clean. They also seem to have a good selection of older video game consoles and games. I have seen the store with probably 5 different floor layouts since Ive been going there so it always has a fresh look and feel.Overall the store is nice and a good place to go I just wish they where more involved in the play area and promotion of helping new players.
