Very unorganized. They have parts in piles outside with no markings or indicators of what the part is. We went looking for a starter and they directed us to a pile of them. No one there could speak English well enough to understand what we were looking for and pick it out for us and we didnt know what we were looking for outside of the make and model of the car we need it for. So, unless you can identify parts as well as a mechanic I dont recommend this particular place to find what you need.

I always find good older stuff here. Fair prices too.

I have gotten so many cool things from here never thought I would ever think that I would enjoy going to a junkyard but this one I do .

I called about a catalytic converter, not knowing they cannot sell them. In the middle of describing the year and make of the vehicle, I was interrupted (rudely) and told its illegal for us to sell those. Youll have to go somewhere else.

Well first off I called first and they said they had the part. I found out when I got there that they don’t know if they do because they don’t inventory anything so I had to go find what I needed then once I found the part I thought was right I asked them if I could bring it back and get my refund if it was wrong. Turned out it was brought it back and they told me I could only get store credit

I greatly thank God for Apache Iron Metal and Auto Salvage Yard.... I am greatful for the car motor purchased there by my brother. Now I am able to get to work on time! Thank you all and God bless you all.

They are very unprofessional. Paid for a motor, was told it would be pulled the next morning. It was not. No one answered the phone. No one was there at 3 pm on a Friday 2 days later. When they showed up at 10 am Saturday, they went inside came out handed me my money and said the motor was locked up! I waited basically 3 days. For a motor that they couldnt produce. Upon reflection they look and act like drug addicts. The place is falling apart trash everywhere. If you go there, do so at your own risk. I will never go again, and would not recommend them to anyone.

Decent prices. Everything is just scattered and stacked everywhere so it takes awhile to walk through everything and find stuff out there. 5 stars if stuff was halfway organized or in rows.

Apache works with the customer to make the experience positive. For instance, I bought a truck frame and Apache did the hard work of removing the body and axles. I carried it home and only then discovered cracks, invisible to all. Apache fully credited my return for future purchases.And recently I met the owner Jerry. He puts in time actually doing some of the hard work out in the yard. A really interesting person who also follows politics and the nations well-being.

Its great if you have just straight up metal. Dont come if you have any non ferrous metals like copper and aluminum. They will only give you metal prices.But other than that they seem friendly, courteous, and professional enough. We will go back again for sure

Junkyards are super friendly places where you can go for a great scavenger hunt through clones of your car. They were able to tell me when I called that they had my model and make there, and it was easy to get to but slow down when you approach it because youll want to take the first entrance. The other one is more of an exit although I proved otherwise ;]

Not the best prices, you cant really seperate your stuff so you get mixed metal prices

STAY AWAYNot sure what has happened to this business. I use to get good deals on classic car parts. Now they are more like Ebay prices. Seems they must of laid off the two guys the had. Sad because they ran the business . Now the short guy has a poor attitude. The owner is rude. I left without buying anything. Was looking at a set of wheels but I was ignored. They has a head bezel for a 67 Dodge and wanted $100 for it. I would not give a hundred for the whole rusted out car.

Less crowded than over off 121 or grand prairie and usually has what your looking for at a fair or bargain price

This used to be one of the best salvage yards in the area. But now it is such a mess, you can barely walk between the cars and NOTHING that even remotely resembles a vehicle is organized. I mean its like they through all of the cars in the air and wherever they landed thats where they are going to be - Imports and Domestic, and the same thing with the trucks/SUVs/vans!However, they do have great prices.... Thats why they get 3 stars.

I have been there so much it is like a second home. If you are looking for hard to find parts they will most likely have it. I have gotten to know quite a few of the guys who work there they are an awesome group. Me and my friend are always happy finding things we need and seeing some really cool and rare vehicles. They have good prices and if you have a foreign vehicle just up the road is Apache Foreign yard.

I took someone to get brake line for scooter and they didnt have enough money. But a gentleman at the counter behind her offer to pay the difference. And I pitched in fifty cents. They will work with you. I like this place they usually have what your looking for and more.

About the only place remaining with the older 1990s and earlier cars/trucks. Yes expect it to be dirty, semi hazardous to feet/ minor cuts. Cars are not stacked and you do have room to maneuver. You have to be willing to be patient to find the car/part you need and be tooled up/willing to take part off. Prices are more than fair. Very busy place. Office guys know their stuff. Great advice. Been a go to place for years with me.

I dont always find what I need here but when I do its at a fair price! You can pull the part yourself or for just a little more they will pull it for you. They also have a recycling area,just pull up to the scale to weigh in and weigh out.or just bring in your aluminum cans for cash.

The guy who answered was adamantly opposed to me or anyone else coming to his junkyard at anytime after noon because, and I quote AINT NO NOT EVEN ONE TIME I GONE BE STANDIN UP GONNA WAIT. DONT GOTTA SO...NO. No exaggeration at all.

I went to get a taillight, and an interior door handle. Got the both, for slightly over $20, and was lucky enough to find the taillight already removed from the vehicle. Someone had wanted the lamp sockets.

Good place to get domestic vehicle parts from earlier model vehicles. Would recommend to the general diy mechanic for use parts. Always gotten good prices from here.

First time I have ever been to a salvage yard. We were looking for a part for my husband, which he found, but the best part is that we found parts for my car. My husband said we got lucky, so it depends on what you need.

Had to wait forever n also had to find someone to talk the part off... It shouldve been someone waiting to do the job... Not send me out in the junkyard on an obstacle course to find someone to take it off... He was a good guy tho so thats why you get an extra star

I have been to this place before numerous times and never had a problem. looking for a part for a newish challenger, that a Chrysler 300 would fit on and he said he didnt have any. I could see a 300, right in front me. way to go man, way...to...go.

Ok for starters im not use to leaving bad remarks, you will ne able to tell that after reading this, but i am Very disappointed in the attitude of this man! First he Wanted to charged me $15 for 2 knobs no bigger than a drawer knob, and an F250 emblem. I mean really? But It was when I said I dont need them that bad, its not like Im fixing something, Im just using it for decorations, he told me I sell auto parts I dont sell decorations. I just walked out. For real? Maybe Im over-reacting, but I have been going to salvage yards all my life and really they shouldnt judge a book by its cover....but then again we did look like two Urbanites...lol.

Complete waste of time, called on phone they said they have the parts I was looking for then I drive all across town and they say go out there to the yard and look, so then you get to walk through a huge yard of cars and trucks and try to find something that looks like what you need only to find that they do not have it. Very dinosaur this is 2016 GET AN INVENTORY SYSTEM!!!!!

Do not scrap your metal here. These people do not know their metals. We took 3400 pounds of short iron and they gave us automotive scrap prices (125 a ton versus 200 a ton). I wont go back.
