The signs say ask for assistance yet the worker acted like I inconvenienced her by asking for the specific single shot bottles. And when I went to check out she was very snide about needing a minimum $ amount for a card purchase. This store may be conveniently near my house but Id rather go to downtown Belmont!

Great staff with good service

The manager & her team are always friendly & keeps a good variety. When I request things, she does her best to get them in. Craft beer and wine selection has definitely improved in the last year.

If you need spirits they have what you need.

At first, I thought this location was a place where you could only roll in and get big beer, cheap wine, and liquor. It has definitely upped its beer game in the last year. Ive found CBS, KBS, BCBS, and many other great selections of sours, wild ales, barrel aged, etc. Definitely the first place I check when Im looking for that limited release.

Does anyone who visits or sits at the traffic light that sees the exterior, the face of their business-- ever wonder, At what point will the management of S&V finally one day see the obvious: Ya know, it may need some sprucing up..BAD. its disheartening to see year after year a storefront in a neighborhood that looks neglected. Weeds among a void desert of asphalt and absolutely no design-- a hole in the wall for a door with no covering and a sign placed asymmetrically in relation to it. - IS THIS A POSITIVE STATEMENT ON THEIR BUSINESS AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD? - Having done painting projects over the years, it never seems to fail: Peoples faces light up and take notice, wishing someone had done something earlier before. * You have high visual exposure. As a canvas, it has many attention-grabbing & creative possibilities : integrate 2 or 3 accented stone pillars against the building with old fashioned gooseneck light fixtures, planters below, accompanied by a canopy over the door and Landscaping on the edge by the street/sidewalk...just a suggestion to get ideas off the ground. (PS- more than once I have inadvertently visited your competitors simply because your stores lack of presence made me forget it was there-silly but true) Thank you for reading and hope something positive comes of this
