Ive had my Volkswagen for 5 years. I always take it to Volkswagen dealerships for service, and I recently moved from Washington State to Florida where this is the only Volkswagen even semi-close to me. I take a day off of work to be able to drive my car all the way to this dealership for an oil change and recall. This service center has been the least adequate of the several Ive been to.Heres a few things that I feel need to be acknowledged.1. The woman who answered the phone for scheduling was clearly bothered to be speaking with me. Then when I asked about having the recall of the fuel bolts done as well, she told me unless I had my vin number with me on the phone, she couldnt schedule a recall check because she didnt know what the recall was for....even though I had the year, make, and model of the vehicle as well as the recall description sent to me.---However, the gentleman who worked the check-in was accommodating and said they can do it as long as my vehicle wasnt one of the rare ones that the issue actually occurred to as theyd need to order the parts, and once they took the parts off to check, my car wouldnt be drivable. Thankfully it wasnt.2. I arrive and they were very adamant about me dropping my car off, both on the phone and in person. I understand if covid was a concern, but I made it clear every time I had no option of dropping it off because I was new to the area and was driving it 45 minutes away from my home just to have Volkswagen service it.3. While waiting, the gentleman who checked me in comes and tells me he recommends a brake fluid flush and tire rotation. He tells me the brake fluid flush should be done around my mileage, so of course I listened and said okay.---I ironically get a Carfax report two days after this service, and I had the brake fluid flush done 10,000 miles before this visit by Volkswagen. Im not sure if theyre unable to see what other Volkswagens have performed, but I find it unethical to recommend something needed when it clearly wasnt. Also, the only reason I didnt know a brake fluid flush was done on the last visit was because it was my 50,000 mile visit, and I told them to handle whatever was recommended as Ive had the car from the beginning.---Now.....the tire rotation. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I dont understand why people offer to rotate tires if they arent going to do it correctly and balance them. My car now shakes when hitting 60 miles an hour. It did this the day after leaving the dealership, and I didnt notice it the day of leaving because the long stretch to my house doesnt hit 60 mph. So Im now stuck with a shaking car on the highway because I havent been able to take another day off from work to bring it 45 minutes the opposite direction for them to fix.4. Lastly, Ive never had service by Volkswagen and not have my car cleaned complimentary. I found that odd and it may be just because Im no longer under the warranty of free service/oil changes. I have no idea, but overall I was disappointed with this visit and the money wasted.

This is by far one of the best dealerships I have been to. I was on vacation when my oil light decided to turn on and I had to get a change quickly. This dealership took great care of me and responded very proactively to the situation. The service team (+ management) was incredibly nice and showed great concern over the matter. They even offered to provided a shuttle to a local breakfast stop during my wait. I would make the drive to buy a car here, knowing how great this place treats customers. It was okay they get you into the dealership because you get in the mail you might have one money prize etc when you get there I have collected more earbuds that I care to think about and I usually give them to my great-granddaughter or donate them because thats the only thing you will ever win

I also had brandon the parts manager help me set up this appointment today for a particular issue I had with my car and he was very delightful to work with. I love my Subaru I wouldn’t drive a different car because it makes me feel so safe in every weather condition I’ve driven in!

Mark deLaVega did a great job helping us out from the first day we walked in a few months ago. He was friendly and straightforward which was a welcome experience. When the car that we were looking at ended up getting sold to someone else he was very helpful to help us get one ordered which worked out better for us so we got EXACTLY what we wanted. Once our new Ascent was finally delivered everyone at the dealership was very kind and understanding since we came on a Saturday morning with our 3 year old and 1 month old. As we were working on other paperwork, Mark was amazing and hung out with our toddler so we could finish up without distractions. Brent in finance also made things very easy and not stressful for us as well and that too was appreciated.The whole experience made trading in my dream Jeep a lot less painful and we are so excited to be a part of the Subaru family now and we LOVE our Ascent!

I desperately needed new wiper blades on my Legacy and was from out of town. I called and they were able to see me within 15 minutes and installed the blades quickly and efficiently. This was important because I had a 6 hour drive ahead of me. They provided excellent service!!!

I was in need of a car and was able to test drive and purchase a 2015 Nissan rogue and I am not disappointed with my experience or purchase at all. However, I was approached by someone while waiting inside the dealership to get a COVID shot. That was very upsetting to me. This is not a clinic, or a doctors office. I was there to get my oil changed and tires rotated. Not happy about that at all

My wife, two kids, and I drove over 12 hours from Ohio to have our first family vacation in Fort Walton Florida. As luck would have it, our 21 Atlas Cross Sport threw up a check engine light just after leaving Whataburger for the first time. We called Ray, after a few others didnt seem to care about our problem or that a family of four was stranded on the side of the road, and he SAVED our vacation! He helped us get a ride home when Lyft and Uber had no vehicles able to take 4 people. He helped set up the vehicle to be towed, He kept us updated via text while we hung out at the beach and he sent his shuttle driver, Jim (awesome guy!) to take us to the grocery store. After the repair was completed, we had a coolant light turn on, which had to do with the engine fluid levels settling after the repair. Regardless, Ray sent his best guy, Domonic (also super awesome guy!), out to us at the beach to check on the vehicle and verify everything was fine. This is a prime example of TOP KNOTCH/WORLD CLASS Customer Service. I cant thank Ray and his team enough for being there for us when we needed help and saved our family vacation! THANK YOU!

I had an issue that triggered almost every light on my dash Sunday evening. I called the dealership first thing on Monday, Tyler the service rep said to bring it over and they would diagnose it ASAP. I towed my Forester over to FWB and within an hour and a half Charlie the Master Tech had it diagnosed and explained to me what all needed to be replaced. I approved the repair and the car was ready for me to pick up on Tuesday afternoon. Communication was great and the repair was taken care of quickly so I could get back in the road.

I’ve had multiple services done here, most on a 2018 Jetta Wolfsburg and a couple on a 2013 JSW TDI. Overall I’m highly impressed with their work and professionalism. I’m doing four stars only because I had one mishap with service that was done to the 2013 TDI but luckily it was caught early enough that there were no bad outcomes. I want to thank Ray Warner for his excellent customer service and doing everything in his power to right any wrongs done by the service team.

Ive been coming here for 3 years to have work done on my WRX, and I have to say today was the best experience Ive had. The service advisor Michael Shoemaker was courteous and helpful throughout the entire process. The technician Charlie Morse also came out to the floor and talked to me about the work on my car, which was greatly appreciated. I havent had the best of times in the old location with customer service, but these two really showed me a great level of service that ensures Ill definitely come back again for my car needs!

I was unable to locate the Forester Sport model in the color that I wanted at the Subaru dealership in my hometown.The Toyota dealership in my hometown gave me the high pressure, hard sell treatment that completely turned me off.Several Subaru dealerships in surrounding cities contacted me, but were unwilling to negotiate price.The people at the Subaru dealership in Fort Walton Beach contacted me with the exact Forester Sport model that I wanted. After a couple of long distance conversations, they offered to hold the Forester for me with no down payment or holding fee. (One of the other dealerships offered to hold a Forester for a nonrefundable fee.)We negotiated and agreed on a price. Two days later I drove from Tallahassee to Fort Walton Beach and retrieved my beautiful new Forester Sport. It was well worth the time, the effort, and the drive.I highly recommend the Subaru dealership in Fort Worth Beach, Florida. Their sales staff treated me with kindness and respect.

Appointment was 10:45 but car was not ready till 2:40, was not informed of time frame to service car. Glad I hang out with friend & went shopping. Did not realize Subaru charges for tire rotation regardless if bought new car from them. That’s definitely uncommon to me.

Amazing service department they do a wonderful job taking care of me and my 2013 Volkswagen Golf TDI, since my purchase 2 .5 years ago when they were Volkswagen/Subaru. Jeff Westrich gave me a great deal and the service department has been just as good. During my most recent visit for battery and oil change my service representative was Mike Kirk. He really helped me out over and above the call of duty. Always great service I also want to put in a good word for Troy, you guys are the best. I will be a loyal customer for life. I would love to be able to contact the service manager as you are suggesting. I I have attempted to contact them multiple times. I have left multiple messages for I believe his name is Ronnie who is over all the dealerships. I spoke to him once and he got me a refund but has never returned my calls to further discuss if theres actually an issue with my car. also it is impossible to simply speak to anybody you want to at the dealership. The lady who answers the phone does not let you through.

Made an appointment & took my beetle in for repairs. I should have left as soon as they told me they couldn’t get to my car that day. What? I made an appointment! Oh so they will work me in. 2 hours later they come and tell me the problem. I already knew what the problem was, I told them. Then tried to give me the hard sell on a pollen filter & a $500 tuneup. I declined. 3 more hours and I’m fed up. This is at most 1 1/2 repair. I look out in the lot and my car is sitting there, has been over an hour. I went over to ask what was going on when Chad the service writer waltzes in from a lunch break. He says my car has been ready a while but he had to go to lunch. I haven’t eaten in 7 hours and he had no problem repeating several times it was his lunch. Customer service was not part of his training. However the mechanic did fix my car and it is running just fine. They did replace the pollen filter.... which I had replaced less than 6 months previously and charged me $40. I’m not a happy camper and I will NEVER go back!

Was having a problem with my Ascent not accelerating. I was having the problem as I drove onto the lot. They called the next day and said there’s no problem please come get your car. They said the technician drove the car and couldn’t reproduce the problem. As I was driving off the dealership lot, I was able to reproduce the problem and couldn’t get my car over 25 mph. I brought one of their employees in the car to show them. So overall bad experience. But once they identified the problem they fixed it well and quickly.

We had a flat tire on our way home from vacation. Because tires and service are part of my warranty we stopped by Volkswagen Fort Walton. They told us it would be hours before they could get to us, their tire guy was going to lunch then had two cars ahead of us. The service tech was almost pushing us out the door. There was no one waiting. This is the most disappointing experience I have ever had with Volkswagen.

I had a terrible experience and I will not be returning my vehicle for service. They screwed up and wanted to charge me a diagnosis fee to find out the problem. I declined and took it to a mechanic who diagnosed the problem quickly and free of charge. Pretty sad you have to take your car to mechanic to fix their screw up.

I had my 20 STI serviced here with the service department. The check engine light came on and scheduled an appointment with the service desk.Scheduling: Making an appointment was a very easy conversation and the representative was very professional. Appointment was scheduled two days after I called by my request.Drop Off: Checking in and dropping the car off was a very pleasant experience. I was allowed to drop the car off early. The service writer was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I was not upsold anything nor was I pressured to do a service I did not need which would have ruined the experience. I requested a tire rotation in addition to figuring out the check engine light.COVID-19: Dealership and service area was immaculate. All employees were wearing masks and socially distancing where appropriate.Service: I received a text ( I requested to be notified via text message) 4 hours later and told my car was finished. I asked to pick the vehicle up the next morning to which I was told it would not be a problem.Pick up: I picked the vehicle up and it was good to go. Vehicle did not have the check engine light on anymore. I was explained to by the service writer in depth what the problem was and had a full understanding of what happened and the steps they took to correct the issue.Bottom Line: Professional, prompt, clean and worth every penny. Highly recommend the service department.

Chris Woods is AWESOME, he saved me $1000s of dollars with discounts, found additional rebates and by beating my own banks interest rate by nearly 2.5%, he had mentioned this but I was hesitant to have him pull my credit because I had a bad experience with another dealer that sent my credit to 8 banks without letting me know, I shopped 3 other VW dealers and his price was the best, I got pre approved from my bank at less than 5% long term financing and he sent it to one bank and beat that by a lot, we didn’t have to do the whole back and forth, I told him what I thought was reasonable and he was very accommodating and with all the money I saved I was able to get a full extended bumper to bumper warranty and my maintenance covered FREE with their maintenance and warranty package which I worked out in the deal instead of having to do back and forth with the Finance Guy, the maintenance is for several years and years payments still were lower than what I had budgeted, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, this dealership actually cares, most dealers only care about profits/ making money and are disgustingly vile, glorified scam artists, during the entire process over two visits I never felt rushed, no one was pushy, they had the exact vehicle I wanted to buy and instead of taking advantage of me they did everything to save me money, I will refer everyone I know and the sales manager Chris actually cared and told me he had personal relationships with bankers which proved to be true although I honestly initiallythought he was blowing smoke. If you’re looking for a NEW VW this is the place to buy. Thanks again for all your help, I’ll definitely stop in on when I come to get my complimentary included services over the next several years! Nothing negative to say about this dealership. I went in for a service and was considering moving up to a SUV from my Jetta due to having a kiddo. I worked with Ian Fisher who I highly reccomend he gave me a more than fair trade in on my Jetta in my opinion, actually gave me the exact price I wanted for my trade without even mentioning it. The FT Walton Subaru dealership had us make an appointment to replace the faulty airbags. We arrived at 9:15am for a 9:30 appointment. We were told it would be 1-3 hours. At noon we phoned the dealership and they said there were complications with the car ahead of us and it may be ready by the end of the day or Monday. I reminded them we were from out of town and my 86 year old father was pushing it at this time frame. Let me interject my daughter and myself took the day off from work and Monday was out of the question. At 3 we phoned and we had to leave a message. No return call. We arrived at 4 and showed the factory paperwork that said we would be entitled to a car. Miraculously the car was ready at 5. Not a happy experience.

I had service done on my 2014 Touareg TDI Executive in October of 2020 and again recently in January 2021. Following the January service, I noticed my vehicle driving slightly differently in terms of transmission shifting times after high RPM revving. I have spent quite a bit of time at this dealership having service and work done, time away from work, and now I have to return yet again.My engine light was on this morning and I smelled oil while driving to work. After parking, I lifted the hood to find some wetness around various components, a sputtering sound, as well as discovered the service technician did not even reattach some of the rubber hoses surrounding components under the hood, nor was my ENGINE cover even secured underneath the oil cap.Supposedly, I had a serpentine belt replaced, following brake work, but it appears some very irresponsible workmanship was done on my vehicle and a pretty high expense paid by me. I need to have this issue rectified soonest, and/or know who I must contact to escalate this matter. The team was not even rushed, I left me vehicle and returned to work; I am very disappointed with the Service department and saddened I have to return after only roughly less than two weeks.

My month old (to me) 2019 Subaru Forester had an issue with the rear gate not opening and the alarm sounding every few seconds. Being in the area on vacation I Googled the nearest Subaru dealership and found Volkswagen Subaru Fort Walton. I was able to make an appointment, and though I was an hour late (due to a dead battery which had to be jump-started), they got straight to work! They diagnosed the problem, replaced the part, reset all my settings which went bonkers when the battery died and got me back underway in less than 2 hours. All the staff were pleasant and efficient. If I lived in this area I would not hesitate to return for service or to purchase a vehicle from them. Thank you!!

The service department was great they were so busy but still managed to give me updates every so often they hooked me up with a rental and fixed everything that was wrong with my car in a weekend. Great service from Tyler and his coworkers behind the scenes. Only small issue was my steering wheel is a little out of alignment when I got it back but it’s not a huge deal. Will be using them again if I need to

Everyone at the dealership was very nice and professional. Josh, my Salesperson was great and so was my Finance Manager Gary. They were honest and straight forward. They get 5 Stars!If Josh and Gary were not part of the transaction it would be a 1 Star. Review.The finance terms and price had been agreed to prior to my son and I arriving at the dealership.It still took 3 hours until I could leave with the car.I make about $80.00 per hour and my son $60.00 per hour.So it cost us $420 for the 3 hour wait.

I had to take my car in for a recall notice. There was a tremendous amount of miscommunication even with calling ahead and scheduling the appointment.When the replaced part was put in my car, it almost broke down on the way home. A tow truck was sent to my house to take my car back to the dealership to be fixed. Then their employees had to drive it back out to me.To say that I would never want to go there again is an understatement.
