I drove my car to this shop a week ago and now Im having to tow it back home. This is my everyday use car and it was not received in the condition that I dropped it off. They ran a $95 diagnostic test and it resulted in the replacement of the caliper and shock of the front tires. Then I get an additional call and suddenly I have to also replace the abs module. $2,000 to repair my car. The higher price I pay here for service has never bothered me as I thought I was dealing with an establishment that cares about their costumers.

Liars! My son wanted a car and I told him I wouldnt run my credit. He swore to me that it was a soft credit check, but the next day there was 7 hard credit check on my report. That is crooked all because I wanted to make sure my son was thinking about everything before we signed any papers. They said it wouldnt run a hard one untill we signed with permission. I did not give them permission to run the credit checks.

Was very pleased with the professionalism and quickly they were able to help us get our new van. Since the car hadnt been detailed yet it looked rough but the price was right. Since it needed detailing the brought it to us over an hour away the next day looking like it belonged in a TV commercial or at least the show room floor along with a full tank of gas. Cannot say enough good things about our experience at this dealership we will definitely be back for a truck.

I brought my van in to fix an electrical issue and my window. I have a warranty and have a $200 deductible. They called me and told me they double checked everything and it works perfectly and my window was fixed. I paid $200 and left. I didn’t even get across the street and realized my van still had an electrical issue. I immediately brought it back and was told to come in Saturday before noon. I called to let them know and they told me they can’t see me until Jan 6 and they think I should take my van somewhere else for repairs. My warranty will charge me another $200. I explained to them that I paid them to fix my van and that included the electrical issue. They claimed there was no electrical issue they could find. My trunk closes and opens when it chooses, my blinker works when it chooses and now my emergency brake light goes on and off. Don’t worry though, they said they can’t find an issue! What a joke. $200 for them to have my van for 2 weeks and not even fix anything except a window.

I’m not one to bash companies when I am unhappy but being REPEATEDLY unhappy is different. “Jessie” at FORD in fort Payne is in the wrong profession. From the first phone call, this lady has been insanely rude, lazy, and acts like you are beneath her. She recommended I take my business elsewhere, doesn’t seem like a true employee does it? This is my second time dealing with this dealership and let’s just say I will never be back. If you choose customer service as a profession you might want to PUT YOUR CUSTOMER FIRST.👋🏼They’ve had my vehicle from 8:45-5 today and didn’t even look into why my sunroof wasn’t closing which is the ENTIRE reason I brought it in to begin with. I am infuriated.

Short story (long version is worth the read)...I reached out to Jayde Boatfield on a Thursday night and I drove home in the exact car I wanted Friday night. Long story...I asked Jayde for 8 things that I wanted in my car. In the beginning, I began to think the car I wanted was not in my budget BUT Jayde and Timothy Barber made that happen. Jayde found the exact car I wanted after much searching and asked me to come on. He had the paperwork ready and kindly was going to get us in and out so we could make it to my son’s game (Jayde’s idea). On our one hour ride to Fort Payne, my car BROKE DOWN. Jayde worked with us SO MUCH. He sent a tow truck and he drove my new car to pick us up ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I thought we would be riding back home in an Uber. I am so impressed with the kindness Jayde showed us that night. I cannot imagine there being a better salesman or dealership anywhere. Everyone we encountered there was top notch. They even sent a driver to my house (one hour) to pick up my car title because I forgot it. This kind of customer service is almost non-existent but IT MATTERS! They earned my business for life. Went and tried to trade in my mercedes benz today and was made to feel like less of a person because I dont make enough money to them spent nearly 2-3 hours of my day just to hear how this salesman has money in his bank account and doesnt need to sell us a car to pay his bills. Very disappointing. I contacted this dealer thru CarGurus.com because I was interested in a certain vehicle. When the receptionist called to talk about the car she asked what I was looking to spend and what kind of car I was interested in. I made it very plain that the vehicle I was interested in was the one listed above and I believed the price was fair. I was then contacted by a salesman regarding the car and set up a time to look at it. I spent the next day sending emails back and forth about financing and such so that if I did like the car I could go ahead and purchase it without delay. When I arrived at the dealership later that day I was met by the salesman at the door who then led me into the office instead of the lot. Strange really. He then explained to me that the car I was interested in had sold the day before but that he had me approved on another vehicle. Seriously? You took it upon yourself to run my credit on a completely different vehicle without telling me?!?! A car I had absolutely zero interest in! A car that was $7000 dollars more than what I was looking for. I drove 50 miles one way to look at a car that was gone. A simple call, text or email would have been enough for me to tell them that I was not remotely interested in this car and definitely not interested in paying an additional 7 grand on one! He then states that he had been spinning his wheels working on this deal. That was not my fault they should have been honest from the start. I kept my temper in check and explained to this salesman that I had no interest in this car at all, refused to look at the car. Why would I? 15 minutes after leaving the dealership this salesman seemed to think that I was only joking about not wanting to even see the car so he sends me photos of the car. Will not be going back for any vehicle.

Very friendly and helpful. I bought a Lincoln MKS in the Atlanta area a few days prior to my visit and I did not realize that one of my remote starters had a low battery. Rocky replaced the battery quickly and had me on my way. Even though I was driving a different vehicle that day, the battery was covered under the warranty and Rocky trusted me to call him with the VIN and mileage. I am definitely trusting them to service my Lincoln.
I am absolutely disgusted with this place. I will never recommend them for someone to get a vehicle. My car has been in the shop 2 and a half months out of 3 and a half months.

Such a wonderful experience! I thought I would be forced into buying something that they picked or want to sell. I thought I would be hounded by an over bearing sells rep and his eagerness to please his boss. I got none of that. From the time I arrived everyone was super pleasant no one hovered over me. I recieved a flyer in the mail that I had won money. I called & confirmed it, also asking if this was truth or a scam (i actually called twice) Made an appointment after being assured it was all truth. Arrived to one of the biggest scams ever just luring people in! That is tacky business to say the least. Who wants to deal with these kind of people. Some of us are getting together just to see if anything can be done about this lure tactic ... after reading the reviews sounds like they dont mind at all HOW they lure customers!

I had a great experience buying a new car at this dealership. Phillip Lassiter is the best! I went there looking for information on the 3/4 ton pick-up, but Ford doesnt make what I want (yet). While I was there, I fell in love with an Explorer on the lot, but it wasnt a 4X4. Phillip found one for me in 2 days -- the color I wanted with exactly what I wanted on it and for a great price. I couldnt be happier. Easy to work with, he followed through on every detail and the entire experience was no hassle.

Great experience! My wife and I just bought a used 2014 Hyundai Tuscon a few days ago from Autonation Ford of Ft. Payne and it went very smooth. We drove 190 miles one-way to check out this SUV. Our salesman was Ozzy and he did such a great job answering all our questions. If he didnt know an answer to our question- he would get one. My 2 year old daughter was with us and he went out of his way to make her feel comfortable while we went through the process. We followed up with Brody who kept the buying experience going great. Started off nice and friendly then they were pushing me to by a car. I ask a simple question and they pushed me out the door like they just wanted to get red of me.
Brandon did a fine job accommodating me and getting right to the job of the recall on my truck. The only problem I had was the mechanic left a wire nut loose and my airbag light came on and I had to return another day to have it checked and repaired to get the light off. I know it was just an overlook and over all, my experience with Auto Nation was okay.

They sell very rusty used cars that are bought in auctions. I pointed out the huge rust issue in my truck only 30 minutes after I bought the car and nothing was done about it. All I had to hear from the sales person was I hope you dont have a problem with it.Do not suggest anyone from buying used cars from them.
I was drawn to the store due to a promotion ensuring a verified cash prize. After arrival I did not receive service or the cash prize when I indicated I was not in the market for a car. I respect others and expect the same from those with whom I would consider doing business.
I told my husband, my son and a friend...I was so impressed with the service I received when I took my car in to be looked at for a problem I was having. Rocky, the gentleman that helped me gave me a detailed explanation of the problem and on top of that, showed me a couple of things wrong that we had no idea of: like the back brake pads are badly worn and the car is out of alignment which caused the inside of my tire tread to be wearing out. To be honest, I expected to leave feeling confused and out a lot of money. That was not the case at all. I received courteous, professional help for$108.00.I am a very pleased customer.
Buyer Beware! This dealership preys on good people thru false advertising methods in hopes of taking advantage of them once they’re on premises. Their flyer stated clearly that if 3 numbers matched, then the recipient was a winner. They sent this to my 79 year old mother in-law who was so excited she asked me to accompany her to the dealership after making an appointment, as directed by the flyer.However, once we arrived, they swept in like vultures, trying to assess her trade before the handshakes were even complete. I quickly realized what was happening and asked to discuss the prize awarded in the advertisement. I mentioned that contracts and wording were important and that based on the information provided it was clear what was going on. Mr. Phil Armstrong immediately insulted our intelligence by quickly pointing out one single word in the advertisement that was meant to confuse and deceive. He was well aware of the intent and was contemptuous and belittling when questioned.Based on less than 60 seconds of interaction, it was clear that the culture within this place is based on taking advantage of people and the use of fast talking, high pressure sales tactics.Ford should re-examine their dealership contract and think long and hard if the lack of empathy and ethics at Landers McLarty is a relationship they want associated with the long-standing good name of the Ford brand.Just some advice to the good people of Fort Payne, Alabama, you’d do well to look elsewhere before spending a single dollar with these people.
I had some tires put on to my car and had a front end alignment but I had to wait close to 2 hours. The wait time was a little too much.
