I’ve always been a fan of Ace Hardware, but this store goes way beyond my expectations with service. Ace’s prices are largely equal to or better than the big box stores, however this store adds all the advantages of buying from a local business owner who treats you like a neighbor. Staff are great (Troy, in particular, is always most helpful) and product selection is excellent.

I am very disappointed with the services! Only one employee was helpful. Young female! Sorry, I didn’t catch her name. The other men employees judgmental and unhelpful. Waited by the lock cabinet for 10 minutes after we asked for help. I don’t like to name drop, but I’m the great granddaughter of Arthur Losey. In the 80’s and 90’s he was well know by the owner! To top that off, the shameful treatment we received we chose ACE we only received because we didn’t want to give the big box stores our business.

Great little neighborhood hardware store thatll get you out of a pinch instead of going to one of the MEGA stores.....however, its in serious need of updating

I love supporting local businesses. Time is money, so I always come here first before driving 20 minutes each way to the big box stores. I like how they fill your propane tanks to the top. The big box stores with the exchange machines only give you 75% full. Wish the per gallon price was a little more competitive. But again, time is money.

So I go yesterday to get a sample of some paint. They were helpful for the most part, Troy specifically but then I go in today and they say the machine is broke and no way I got it mixed yesterday. Oh and the fact that they do follow you around like if I were some criminal. Common!!! I was gonna buy a Big Green Egg Grill for myself this fathers day but you can bet I’ll never go back. And to think I was gonna support a local business. I’ll stick with Lowe’s and HDX. You guys suck!!!

This is a great place to go to. They have very knowledgeable employees that know so much about their products. The employees are willing to set you up with everything you need for your projects. I like going to this hardware store.

If you think you are going too get ur military discount here, then you have come too the wrong store. Seems like everything is crammed in here like its way too small of building.

My new favorite place to go for one specific reason: birch beer. Im originally from PA, where birch beer was everywhere. Since moving here, here and Rural King are the only places Ive found it.

Recently moved to Ft. Myers Shores from South Dakota. Was happy to find this hardware store less than a mile from my house. A real old-time hardware store with knowledgeable people inside. Extremely customer-friendly. Had them cut me some plate glass. I had measured it wrong. They cut it again for no charge! Everything Ive needed has been here and every bit of advice I needed, they knew it. Oh, and BTW, the comment about the elderly cashier? She is very capable and kind. I had tried to change my Ace Rewards info online and the system wouldnt let me. She did it for me! Happy this place is here.

I would recommend never going to this place. I am an ace hardware person in and out . I totally believe in supporting local businesses. The staff at the store is the most disrespectful people I have ever met in my life they are all family so wants one of them starts they all decide they have to start I mean it was the worst experience of my life I actually called their corporate office on them . My horrible experience started with the cashier lady Kayla then just went horrible after that .

Its an older building that feels straight out of the past but they have almost everything you need and if they dont than they can usually get it in for you within a week. The staff is a mix between the older more experienced and the younger more energetic staff. Lol But it definitely has a hometown corner store vibe when you walk in and worth the experience.

My go-to place when I need something no matter what it is it seems like they always have it in stock.

Probably one of the most helpful Ace Hardwares that I have been in in The Years they know where all the product is they know what is the best product out there they were very hard to answer your questions the cashiers are courteous and very nice. They do a great training program on how to handle their customers I will be as loyal to them and they have been to me thank you Ace for a job well done.

The staff is always very helpful and professional. If they cant help you they direct you to someone that can. George was very helpful to a distraught customer. I left feeling good about my problem.

Called for a specific bolt and asked the employee multiple times if they had the exact one. He said they had it. When I drove all the way there, they didn’t have it... Waste of my time.

Easy place to get in and get out of quickly. I’ve always found what I needed, though the prices are always more expensive than Home Depot and Lowe’s. Otherwise, if you need a place that’s close and that has what you need and you’re willing to pay a little more for it, then look know further.

If you need assistance, much depends on who is working. Some are helpful and others act as if you are a nuisance. Good selection but 20-50% higher than a big box stores.

I have always been about trying to support local businesses to try and help keep them in business getting parts I need from Their store. DC Ace just totally blew getting anymore business from me. I bought a dishwasher supply line from another ace and come to find out they wouldnt accept it as a return with the receipt. That tells me they are a big enough business that they dont need local customers. I will drive past this store now just to drive to lowes. And I will sure pass this info onto everyone that I see.

Horrible experience. Heavy set woman cashier just toxic. I was on motorcycle so had a back pack. She gave me the stink eye right away and hawked me while i found a dust mask, she was sure i was going to steal something. Very unfriendly at check out. Didnt even ask for my ace rewards card. Next time Im going to tractor supply.
