Did not enjoy being argued with by a cashier because they weren’t properly trained. quick bite meals come with an included sauce pack. Being repeatedly told sauce is given for over a pound or more of food, when it’s clearly advertised and labeled that a sauce cup comes included in the meal. Wasting more of my time after waiting at the hot case for 10 min when I’m the only one waiting to be served. Perhaps if the gossip and chatter wasn’t happening the service could have been quicker. Once again this location disappoints.

I love this store. The employees in every position are friendly and helpful in every way. The pharmacy is the best too.The store is always neat, clean and well stocked. They always have plenty of stock of their sale items. Any fresh food is just that, fresh! I buy their own brand of products whenever it’s offered, they’re good quality and a good value.

I have been shopping at this Publix for over ten years and akways receive really good service. One employee (Juan) in the Deli department warrants mentioning because of the outstanding services that he provides consistently to customers.He has a wealth of knowledge & is most helpful in making suggestions.Jusn adheres to excellent sanitary practices and is always neat in appearance.It is obvious from your initial observation that he exemplifies an infectious enthusiasm in performing his dutirs & responsibilities.A model employee in all respects.Steve Reaves9/22/21

Its Publix how can you go wrong Ive been at Publix since I was three or four years old with my mother still shop there three or four times a week they have the best store brands the best brown sugar the best sweet tea three or four other things that I could think of that Publix brand is better than the national brands if you like mayonnaise it is absolutely the worlds best for shopping for groceries in my opinion you cant beat Publix and they also have a lot of two for ones

When the store got everything I needed and its a good feeling when you can come in and get a fresh 8 piece chicken thats fresh and hot and the grease has been changed properly great job

This Publix doesn’t really stand out from the others but that can be a good thing. Convenient location on the West end of Alico road serving the multitude of businesses on Alico. The produce department in particular are very friendly and make great salads! Check out lines are usually nice and short during lunch time.

The pharmacy is not run professionally. I had good people at the Grand Bay plaza who always looked out for me with prescriptions and allergic alerts. This one here doesnt seem so helpful and there are always different people I do not know here. Not cool. Sometimes they give me the wrong medication. :(UPDATE:I got notified my prescription was ready today. I drive down there, wait in line 15 minutes at the drive thru, she says can I wait till she takes care of the people inside. I wait another 5 minutes. She comes back, gets my name, and says the order isnt filled and can I WAIT 15 MINUTES??! I said NO. I will HAVE TO COME BACK AGAIN TOMORROW. There needs to be professionalism in this pharmacy because this is horrible. And it isnt only this time either. You cannot get to know the pharmacists here ever. There is such a big turnover. They dont bother to look at your history or what you are allergic to. I might just go to the CVS pharmacy in the plaza instead. Because this is irresponsible. And I am not feeling safe relying on people who DO NOT CARE. Clean up the pharmacy here people. This sucks.

Unfortunately my trust is down. Produce dept. Has to deal with produce they get, but if some of the product is out of date mark down or move out I have noticed other items in the store also out of date. It is getting to be a challenge checking on product dates. Please give us animal lovers lower prices on cat & dog food.

A young lady went an extra effort to find a product ( cottage cheese with pinaple) that was not on the shelf, but in the back. Very quickly attended to a courteous. Nicely done. Give her a raise for being costomer orientated!

New to the area from Texas and needed a birthday cake for my wife. I ordered four days in advance and the lady in the bakery was very helpful, friendly, and professional. I picked up the cake and it was absolutely delicious. The hit of the party. Thanks for making it a great evening!

I love this store and the self check out but if you think Im a thief dont have self check out! Having your people hoover over me and looking over my shoulder at everything I do is not ok. You have like 17 camera already watching me!

The last several visits to the store I have felt like I was inconveniencing the cashiers. I prefer to not leave reviews at all unless they are positive however, It has progressively and notably gotten worse. So much so that I’ll drive the extra distance to not deal with this again.

I like this publix but cashier Sean has a poor attitude and bad customer service. Said absolutely nothing to me the entire time he was ringing my groceries. Handed me my receipt I said “thank you“ and he was silent. I am a healthcare worker and was in scrubs so don’t know if this was the reason for his attitude but it was very obvious he had an issue checking me out. The young lady that was before me he was overly friendly with. His attitude made me a bit comfortable.

Seems like they’re more interested in being accepted by one another than taking care of the customer. Cool dude back in the deli, thanks for the cheese recommendation. Not so cool rest of the staff. Thank you for unknowingly recommending I do my shopping a little further down the road

Absolute waste of time. Their selection is abysmal. Really hard for me to say that about a Publix, but hey, it is what it is. Absolutely no gluten-free anything here. Every other Publix have been to at least has gluten free pizza for dairy-free cheese. This one has nothing. Couldnt find any dairy-free cheese, nothing for people with allergies to gluten. Awful

So thankful for the staff that were able to get there after IrmaThey did not have full power still and were out of much stock but theyre open in order to help me and the surrounding area!! Bravo Alico Mission Publix staff. Even had the pharmacy open although the pharmacist was the only one there! Thank you Bill! You guys were always the best and now you are above and beyond my heroes!

This is my go to store as we live right around the corner. Everyone here is super friendly, so much so that I dont even like going to to other Publixs. They have just about everything most every other grocer has with the exception of limited amounts of Organic items and Grassfed/organic meats. Otherwise its pretty great

I was very disappointed when I was there last Monday to send money. The employee, a young lady, was very disrespectful telling me that she’s not stupid just because I asked if it was her first time doing that( she had an atitude since she did begin talking to me) I’m a 53 years old lady that never, never make any complaint about any service or employee. This is my first complaint because I felt very disrespected. I try to be polite and respect everybody. So, it was my last time there. I sent money every month to my family and will be in another place.

There are never enough cashiers working to accommodate the amount of people that come into the store. Today they had 3 registers open during the lunch rush & the lines were backed up. I was very unlucky getting stuck in Chris lane. Chris was sweet but way too chatty, she held up the line even more carrying on conversations with people even after they paid. By the time it was my turn I watched her talk to 3 people after their receipt was given. I find it completely unacceptable to hold up a line when people are on their lunch break. It was very rude of her to ignore the growing (impatient) line as she finished her questions she had for people about their pets & home life. Anyways, by the time it was my turn she was so flustered because the line was really backed about she just started throwing stuff in the bag. She was so rough with my purchases. I had to point out a price discrepancy & she lost her cool. She became so flustered she wouldnt listen to my explanation because her 1 track mind could only understand clearance has a clearance tag Finally after ignoring me the bagger went to check the price. I asked her to move on with the checkout process & just take the clearance item off....well that made her more flustered & she threatened if I made her cancel the item I would have to wait longer. I really didnt have time to wait but because she was trying to force me to buy the clearance item for regular price I decided to wat for the bagger to return. The item was indeed on clearance but they couldnt figure out the price. I ended up bagging most of my purchases because Chris was still mumbling about the price discrepancy. Every time I shop at this Publix there is a rude cashier, long wait, or price discrepancy. If youre in a hurry than I dont recommend you stop here.

Deli is always empty during lunch time. No tenders, no mac and cheese, no wedges....

We went in for a sandwich from a bakery and the service was slow. They didnt have turkey and had to go into the back to get ingredients. The sandwich was good but tbe cookie made me sick
