Every since they got a new crew of employees I dislike going here. The customer service here is so unprofessional and unappreciated even the manager always have a mean look on his face. Best bet is to go somewhere else

First time at this store, very, very nice. The shelves were stocked, the clerk was very nice and helpful.

It seems like they may be going out of business soon. The shelves are bare, and they only had ice cream in the frozen food section. I dont know whats going on but this covid-19 is going to wipe out fort Myers.

I like this place in the beginning not so much because when I went in there they would ask me for my backpack when I refused they refuse to service me. I then called the corporate office and put a stop to it but this is something that is quite predominant in the area. I understand perfectly why they are doing this it is easier for them to alienate their customers rather than do their jobs. All so they can look good to their superiors meanwhile theyre costing them business because I refused to endorse this I am not a thief and I dont appreciate being treated like a thief when I walk into a store it is offensive. I believe in this country you are innocent until proven guilty not the other way around. Not to mention where does it end next they will be asking for our shirts or our pants for fear that were stuffing something into them please

Wasnt expecting to walk into one of the most organized, well stocked, friendliest, and probably most clean Dollar General in Fort Myers when I stopped to pick up a few items on my way home. Will definitely be visiting this location again!

Decent prices close to home

The front counter girl was extremely friendly, courteous, helpful overall just great. I had a reason to talk to the manager in the store oh, she was awesome she did everything she could to make sure that I was going to be a returning customer. I will absolutely be a returning customer. They definitely made sure I was a happy person when I walked out of that store.

I come here more often than I probably need to, but I really enjoy interacting with the staff. Theyre always awesome 👌

Employees great, management no respect to employees through their pay or performance incentives. Wonder why people call in sick and dont come to work? Would you work for $8 an hour? I guess theyll be replaced by robots and everybody will stay at home, sad way to employ people no respect no trust no integrity by the corporation!!

Today was stock day so they were out of a lot of items I but I love that store they have a lot of good things that is prices are good the people are friendly and I can usually find what I need except they were out of a lot of items because they didnt have some things because the truck hadnt come yet or they were waiting for the truck but thats okay I will always come to Dollar General!

Great place to run in and grab all those everyday things you need quickly. Some, SOME, employees seem clueless when looking for something thats on sale, so have a game plan before you go in.

Its best to shop on weekends there as there is almost always a sale going on. I recommend buying something low-priced to get a receipt with a $5 off coupon and then cash in the savings on Saturday and Sunday.. One downside is that the store is sometimes frequented by some offensive smelling guys. Worse even the fact that those stinky people are not homeless as I heard them talking about their wives waiting home. So, they got easy access to running water but smell worse than an old t-shirt soaked in sweat and old beer. Disgusting!

Very disorganized, isles were all blocked with stock but plenty of employees to put it on the shelves. Parking lot was littered with garbage. To top it off they apparently had a shortage of pooper scoopers which was what I went there for.
