I was racially profiled. I felt like i was being watched the whole time. I wear sweatpants and I had my phone, keys, and wallet in my pocket. So naturally my pockets looked big. I did not see anything I really wanted so I put the cart back and left. An older woman stopped me and asked to empty my pockets. So I showed her my keys wallet and phone. She was an older woman who works in morning with gray hair, Caucasian with glasses.She didn’t even apologize for falsely accusing me. I felt so embarrassed. I will not be coming back.

This trip was strange for sure but one of the managers helped us immensely. We were looking for pistachio cream (not easy to find and Whole Foods stopped carrying it). Over the phone the Manager went down a few aisles and found it...so we then drove to the store to get it. The manager was very helpful.

Clean store. Best fresh meat & fish counter. Bakery & produce are great. Prepared foods. $5 Thursday has great specials.

An edgier take on the old-style food market. A shopping experience with something for everyone. Healthier foods, hot foods, fresh fruits and veggies, bakery, wine, coffee and grocery section.

Great market! So many private label gourmet treats. Their fresh squeezed juices are superb! The bakery produces an amazing assortment of baked goodies, specialty breads, cakes, cookies, pies and pastries. Often they have buy one-get one deals and the seafood and butchers department are one of the best! Very good crab cakes, by the way. Only down side is it can be pricey, but worth it.

Wonderful! Variety of foods from all over the world. Nice selection of items to make a chacuterie board. Fresh and good quality. Sushi, meats, chicken, dips, veggies, etc. Nice pre ingredients meal for 2 easy to cook. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.

Browsing the store alone was great as there were many items that you would not find at other, similar stores. From nuts and chocolate to specialty pasta sauces and baked goods, this Fresh Market location made it difficult to pass up on some great finds. From the butcher to the cashier, service was kind and welcome. Would recommend keeping an eye out on discounted items as some of the inventory may be priced relatively high.

Im giving 2 stars instead of one because the place looks nice.Im writing this review because of the strawberry chantilly cake.If you like whole foods chantilly berry cake and they dont have it and think you can replace it with the one Fresh Market offers youre going to be very disappointed.I figured out because fresh Market looks expensive they will offer nice cakes but I ended up tossing a whole cake in the garbage after tasting it because it was so sweet that it was disgusting, my husband dislike it as well, also it didnt have chantilly cream but butter cream and the strawberries inside the cake were like a jam so there wasnt something on it to cut the sweetness bombarding you from everywhere.

10 stars if I could! I just moved to the neighborhood and stopped in to grab some groceries. Don, the cashier, was amazing. Super friendly, nice, and welcoming. I have always loved Fresh Market and now have an extra reason to go there because besides their amazing creme brulee, cheese selection and fresh baked goods, they have such awesome customer service! Keep up the great work!

My favorite grocery store wish they were more locations

The location isnt the greatest unless youre into traffic and the parking lot is hazardous. The prices are way higher than the Flamingo location. The meat counter is quick and efficient and the produce is absolutely gorgeous. Not sure I want to shop here over Publix though :/

The store is clean, well-stocked, and the workers are friendly. It’s my favorite grocery store.

This high-end grocery store is too expensive for most items, but the quality cant be beat. This is the best place to get fresh, high-quality meats. The cheap deals on Tuesdays for ground beef and boneless chicken breast make it a regular stop for me. Those deals are cheaper than Winn Dixie or Publix, though its difficult to walk out without also buying a pricey but delicious pastry from the bakery.

I love this place! The staff is always so helpful and friendly, the store is clean and always stocked. One of my favorite stores in this area

Great shopping and fresh. I just hate how the homeless run about in the parking lot. Dont get me wrong I do my part with the homeless but the tactics they use a a woman is putting her groceries in her vehicle ticks me off. You should feel secure

You definitely have to deal with the inconsiderate clientele who leaves shopping carts in the middle of a cramped parking lot. Its never a pleasant experience outside the market so Im always reluctant to choose coming here. But inside, its a nice market if youre okay with a smaller selection and arent looking for the name brand stuff. But You WILL get stressed out maneuvering the parking lot

The Fresh Market is located in a strip center located halfway between Sunrise Blvd. and Federal Highway on the right hand side heading North. It has great parking coming in from the highway. It isnt a large store in comparison to lets say Publix, but it is extremely well organized in its distribution of product. The selling point..its extremely.attractive display of high end products. Choice is limited in areas of produce, wines, etc. Most are highly overpriced!!! What I love about this place is their pastry section. The bakers are amazing and produce some of the most tantalising pastries I have seen most anywhere and more amazing is these.deliciously decorated goodies are reasonably priced! The premises is too dim, dark, for my taste. I understand its to create mood, but in this State it doesnt seem fitting. Exiting from this venue is a little tricky since you are exiting onto a major.highway so you need to find a point of exit that has a traffic light. This place is an only on occasion place for me.

I witnessed several workers and customers harrass two young women on Saturday.The women were physically escorted out of the store forcefully by rude employees with the help of a customer over their mask. The one lady I followed out got in to her handicapped car. She has severe asthma and needed to use her inhaler in front of me over this.Ive been shopping at this location since it opened. I will not be returning.Truly horrific. I hope they sue.

I really enjoy walking to get our groceries here. Fresh food. Very courteous and welcoming employees. However, despite having a dedicated wine employee, which on the one hand is great, on the other hand I find the selection pretty cheap and unappealing given the nature of this store. Always a frustration. We pick up food for a great meal. Then the wine is so lacking. For example, how about some Sanceres? Bourdeaux, good Italian....there too many pinot noir and well known but mundane cabs, and mass market rose, Pinot grigo. Just slightly better than win Dixie selection down the road.

Always has everything I need. But today went there they were out of my favorite treats 🍫 dark ginger chocolates 😢

They have real Hawaiian Kona coffee. They have whole being Jamaica blue mountain coffee. They have cheeses and meats and prepared foods and beautiful displays of vegetables. I wanted to stay in there all day.

Food is great but incredibly bad service. Bad service at the deli & bad service at the checkout. Expected better from a high end grocer. Disappointing. Poor attitudes & no customer service. Not even greeted. I’m use to a friendly courteous Fresh Market staff - clearly not at this location.

This supermarket is absolutely the standard in grocery shopping. You will not find a better place to shop for your family for fresh foods. The entire staff here is extremely professional. Thank You guys for everything.

The Fresh Market is a supremely nice market to shop from. I see celebrities at this place dining for lunch outside! All of the selections are nicely displayed. Ive ordered from their deli and the food was beyond flavorful...I had enough to eat for two times. If you ever see a fresh market go there for groceries, coffee, wine, lunch or dinner. Receipt keepers they will email you your receipt for better bookkeeping!!

While the items offered at Fresh Market tend to have a little bit of a higher price than at a Publix, for example, when I am on a budget, I can honestly attest that, regardless of prices, I always spend less at Fresh Market than when I go to Publix. Im a single person who lives alone in South Florida and spent $185 last night at this Fresh Market...I think it is the store at 424 Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida but I had I gone to Publix, with the reputation of being more affordable than Fresh Market, I couldnt have walked out of there for less than $250 yesterday and here is to what I attribute that phenomenon: the more costly, usually higher quality items paired with the calming classical music and lighter-trafficked environment allows me to make better and more thoughtful selections of what I want to put in my body which is critical for me right now with a recent osteosarcoma diagnosis. Ill leave it there but before I submit this, if you have read this far, if you enjoy sweets, the next time you see a Fresh Market, if youve never had cold pressed orange strawberry juice you must pick up a half gallon if you have $10 to spare. Juice is $9/half gallon which could last you about a week if you savor it like I do. Martin Estok, 10/17/2020.

Can I just talk about the baked goods ?! I am SO obsessed with the triple chocolate cupcakes (I love chocolate) that every month (around that time) my bf goes in and buys me one!!! It’s become a thing. Of course all the rest of the food is amazing too but I prob get more cupcakes than anything else 😂❤️

Great staff; everyone is super friendly and helpful. Definitely a great option if you don’t feel like braving the crowds at Whole Foods. Selection’s a little smaller but quality is up there. And they do have weekly specials which make the prices very reasonable!

Rotisserie chicken seems to be never be available

I’ve never been treated so rudely at a grocery store. Just because we work for Instacart and we’re not part of your loyal customers doesn’t mean you get to treat us disrespectfully. I was told by some lady employee named Mandy to “just keep searching” when she couldn’t find what I was looking for. When we ask for help is because we’ve already searched and need someone to help us. The only reason I’m giving a 2 star instead of 1 is because the cashier was very nice.

Super customer friendly. Freshest produce available. Incredible selection at the deli counter. Cheese section unbelievable. And don’t forget the wine or the beer to go with the cheese super wide selection.

Everything is way overpriced, most items prices aren’t listed (I assume on purpose so that people realize later how much something is) food is mediocre and when I returned food I wasn’t given back what I paid.

First thing that upset me before even entering the store was a derilic grubby, filthy panhandler right at the entrance. It was a scary site not expected. On my exit of the store I expressed my veiws of an upper class store .an employee stated that they run them off but they keep coming back. Sounds like a need for outside security to justified the high prices inside the store.

I love this food market! We have a Whole Foods clear on the other side of town, and Fresh Market is a lot closer to me. In many ways, I like it better than Whole Foods. Its not as enormous, and sometimes WF has *too* much to choose from; it can be exhausting! FM is like a classy, neighborhood store that caters to the neighborhood locals, with a most elevated quality of foods in every department, from produce to the bakery, the deli to the cheese counter, the wines to the baking isle. And they have specials on a regular basis. Its like walking back in time in both atmosphere and the quality of service and food. Did I mention I love this place?

I was pleasantly surprised upon my first visit. I heard so many people talking about this place so I had to try it out. They told me the same thing about Trader Joes but I didnt enjoy it at all. But this place is great. The way that the grocery store is laid out is an enjoyable shopping experience. I like how the deli case is in the middle of the store that you can walk around. Really enjoyed all the self-serve options. I will definitely be back!

Always a great place to shop! Fresh Market has had everything needed during this tough time. Beef, chicken, pork & turkey never experienced any shortage whether it was downtown Ft. Lauderdale, Boca Raton west Glades or Coral Springs. Great Ultimate Crabcakes by the way. Fantastic bakery as well.

Pretty store. Great deli meat, Fresh Market brand. Melt-in-your-mouth roast beef. Unbelievable bread selection. Maybe a few bucks more expensive then elsewhere but I think the quality is very good and a fair bargain.
