Came in to shop and met an awesome worker Trent. He answered any questions I had told me all of the things about the area I wanted to know. Hopefully every business in the area has a Trent.

It was convenient bit who ever was working the register seemed bothered that I was taking her away from what she was doing so she could ring me up. Not impressed and Im a very easy going person. Just saying

This place is still flagged as my worst customer service experience ever. Do not shop here. Price inflation oj products and really poor management from the top down. I consider this an insult to surf culture.

The two guys that work there are kind, helpful, courteous and went out of there way to help me set up google pay because I forgot my wallet. The brunette manager is rude and will yell at you if youre accidentally not wearing ur mask correctly. And continue to not be helpful and give you nasty looks. She should look into another profession.

Most uncomfortable shopping experience I’ve had in my life. I was in need of some glasses when I walked in here today (June 30th) with the intent of buying a pair of Ray Bans. I walked in and immediately said “Hi” to the woman at the cash register (a blonde - who acted like she owned the place). She looked at me and didn’t say a single word back. Okay. Uncomfortable. I then asked to see some of the Ray Bans behind a locked cabinet. She barely acknowledged me and summoned someone else to help me. She was rude. Short and in the end I took my $200 elsewhere. I would never ever shop here again.

I arrived at this location 10 minutes before closing to grab some souvenir T-shirts before I left the next day. Needless to say, I was rushed and told the employees I would hurry. They all said no problem at all. I made my purchases, left and when I was 2 blocks down the street I noticed I didn’t have my phone. Panicked, my friends and I ran back and explained through a locked door (they were now closed) what happened. They let us in, I found my phone on the T-shirt table and was so relieved. Johnny was the gentleman that help me and went above and beyond. Exceptional customer service!! From beginning to end. Thank you!

Hung up on me when I called about the hours. What kind of service does that. Wont be going there at all.

Chris and his staff were able to answer all my questions when I went in to buy ray bans and O’Neil boardshorts. Overall the best customer service on the beach. Definitely will return! Thanks guys!

This store is absolutely amazing, they have a great selection of clothing and everything you could wish for. The employees are great, they helped me with everything i had questions with or needed help getting. However, corporate needs to get their store maintenance under control; the ac is broken (which is a safety violation for the employees), while i was in the store the manager at the time was extremely rude to his employees yelling at them for doing their job, the store has a horrible poop smell in the front, the music that is being played is not family appropriate with curse words such as, the f word or the n word, and there is black mold all around the store. If they were to fix those problems the store would be a solid 5 stars.

Rude!!! Google says store closes at 10p, got there at 940p all signs on doors said open, all doors locked with customers still inside. I brought 5 shoppers with me and there were 4 other shoppers outside with the same plan. ALL employees were rude, with the employees who were standing around turn your open signs to close if you close st 930p. Wouldn’t you think during low season you would do anything for a sale and do your best to keep your customers happy. By the looks of reviews you need to re-evaluate your management! Lost my business for life!

Went there today, had a great selection of amazing brands and great prices, in fact they were some of the best I’ve seen at a surf shop. One of my favorites I’ve ever been to, definitely coming back next time!🤙

Disappointed to say the least. Went in this weekend and had two pair of swim shorts, one was marked on sale (as were all of this style on the rack). The item rang up as full price and I noted the sale sticker. The clerk said she can not honor that price. I tried telling her that any good business would honor the price as marked, even if it was a mistake made in their part. She refused, saying corporate wouldn’t allow them to do so. How about corporate get competent ppl in their stores that don’t mistakenly mark groups of items improperly then!?

The store is super organized and I found a ton of awesome pieces. I’m so glad I found this shop.. when I visit Ft Lauderdale again, I’m definitely going to come back to Maui Nix.

Great service great prices, AINT no complaints

Chris the manager was a horrible person to work with. Very rude and no willing to work with customers to find any type of solutions for any problem. Its sad that he is supposed to be part of any management team. Shouldnt use the word team at this place. I have been in the military and worked on problem solving on a team basis and this is so far from it. Rude, unprofessional, just a lack of caring for the store overall. Of he reflects the leadership of this store then the ONLY reason this store is open because of the location and people on vacation. I just asked a sales person in the store when the head management will be in and he didnt even know who they are or when they will be in. Its sad a store that sells fun and cool stuff is so horribly of track from what retail is supposed to be about.

I went in this store with my 17-year-old son and spent 30 minutes the laboring whether to buy Oakleys or Ray bans for him. After choosing the Ray bands and paying for the glasses we walked out the front of the store and did not even get across the street when I can tell he was doubting his choice. Went back into the store less than five minutes after purchase to be told by the same young kid that knew absolutely zero about the sunglasses and helped me, that all sunglasses were final sale . He then pointed to a 3 x 5 card taped to the top of the counter near the registers that did state all sunglass sales were final. I said youre kidding me right, I bought these less than five minutes ago? he said no that is our store policy, and then another young gentleman claiming to be the manager reiterated the same policy. I couldve sworn they were actually joking with me at first, however, I quickly realized they were dead serious!!!! I will let you decide if you would ever do business with someone who has customer service like this and handles their business in such a manner. Horrible, I suggest visiting one of the many other shops in the area that carry all the same brands with even better pricing. Now my son owns two pairs of new sunglasses, isnt that just great 😜

If I could give this store 0 Stars I would, 1 star is way to many. I bought a pair of Under Armour sandals from them in the morning, by the afternoon they had ripped. I went back and showed them that it was a defective product. The rude girl at the counter told me it was their store policy and there was nothing they could do about it. Please dont ever buy anything from these people, unless you want to lose your money. I will never buy anything from one of their stores again. I will also make sure that all of my friends never buy anything from them either.

This place is trash, over crowded, not enough staff to assist customers, staff is completely unknowledgable of their products, or the staff lies to not have to assist customers, over priced like crazy, management doesnt know how to keep store stocked on items.Went to buy skateboard wheels (not longboard wheels to make the difference clear), manager tells me he ran out of them WEEKS ago, and hasnt ordered more. If you ran out of stock of something it must be a popular item, so i dont see why you wouldnt order more.Before talking to the manager i ask a staff member for assistance with whether they have skateboard wheels at all, to which she replied with i dont know and walked away, didnt even direct me to someone else who may have been able to help. I then had to wait almost a half an hour for the manager who was running the only available cash register in the store. Which tells me they were under-staffed.Overall terrible experience. Wish i could give zero stars. This place made me appreciate Island Water Sports so much more.

Never shopping at Maui again! Staff is rude and not helpful! at all! They stood around conversing with each other as I shopped. There was one young girl in particular that ignored me when I asked her a question. When I asked it again, she gave me an attitude! She also had big open sores on her face! Unreal that Maui Nix would hire staff like this.

I went to 4 dept stores over the weekend, but if you are looking for high quality swimwear this is the place. Even Nordstrom had a lousy selection compared to Maui Nix.....

They have cameras in the fitting room that can clearly see you changing in the private rooms through the reflection in the mirrors. Disgusting and illegal.
