Disrespectful. In the process of looking for a new car, I stopped in Gunther VW multiple times (thinking maybe I just spoke to the one bad apple so gave them another opportunity). Each time, multiple sales people and business managers were rude, and disrespectful – >telling< me what I want, rather than >listening< to what I want. I have the financial ability to bring my business anywhere, and I will never go to Gunther again; do not go to Gunther. We need to support businesses that truly care for our community, treat others with respect and listen.

I had a water leak in my Alltrack and a couple of other small things so I brought it in to be taken care of. Rob was my service advisor and he is the man! He made it easy to come in right away, gave me a great loaner car, and kept me up to speed through the process. Excellent experience and good quality work.

I went to Gunther Volkswagen for the first time ever to get my car serviced. The entire 1 year maintenance was pretty quick and easy! Jose kept me up-to-date with what was going on and how long it would take. I highly recommend going to Gunther Volkswagen for your service needs.

1. I cant remember the date, but I went to VW to have an oil change done on my car. The oil change was completed however, a day went by and my oil light came on. Apparently one of the techs forgot to properly seal the cap. The oil drained out and I was driving around without h oil. I paid out of my pockets for a tow truck to have the car towed to VW Gunther and have the problem fixed. I never received an apology. 2. The manager was talking down to his employees said he would smack him. (Jimmy vs. Jamaican dude), 3. Cashier overpriced me for a housing oil filter that was 1/2 the price found at AutoZone. 4. Received a coupon from Volkswagen for window shield wipers, and the (Hispanic, I think she was Cuban) cashier was upset that I had a coupon and was paying a discounted price for it – she actually grunted. 4. One of the reps tried to sell me a car radio for my car for $400. 1/2 for him and 1/2 for the mechanic I guess. 5. One of the techs warned me to go somewhere else, I didn’t understand until now, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. FYI – buyer beware.

I did not believe on reviews but I have to tell my experience with this specific store in Fort Lauderdale very bad, started with a receptionist, no customer service whatsoever, sales person with a attitude like he was going to give me a car for free. The finance person a liar I had a credit score of 824 he said VW finance was going to give me very high interest and he turned everything around.. Overall bad experience and I wanted to give a second chance because I got a brand new car twice in this place.Unfortunately some people are very unhappy and they bring their personal life to work. I know sales have a goal but You should not lie to people and the worse making feel that you are begging 😔During my lifetime I purchased other brands but extremely disappointed with Gunther VW.Janet Martelli

My first time to change the oil everything went well and everyone was professional. Now the second time back for my second oil change, the service person in charge of my car was very rude. After her offered a service that my car needed I declined because it wasnt in my budget at the time and told him. Well here is where he came up with an attitude and cut me off completely. I was very disappointed with the service and lack of professionalism just because I declined an offer. Sadly wish u can just go to another dealer as I dont want to deal with him ever again.

If you want to be taken advantage of, come to Gunther Volkswagen. My girlfriend came in for a new tire and lug nut and ended up getting charged $460. The team here along with the manager prey on young women who don’t know any better and upcharged for items she didn’t request. When I brought it to the manager’s attention, he refused to acknowledge how his team took advantage of her. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere when searching for a new car or service center.

This couldn’t be more of a smoother process. We were looking for months for a new vehicle and couldn’t get any dealership to be transparent or communicative with us. But at Gunther, it couldn’t have been any more of enjoyable. Kelly and the staff made it smooth from start to finish, they gave us options, they took care of everything and didn’t do it with any smoke or mirrors. They gave us up front pricing on the phone, worked with us on terms and delivered it - yes I said - delivered it to our house. To put it into context, all the other VW dealerships in South FL told us they wouldn’t do any of that. Just pure class, great experience, would recommend to anyone!

Completely dissatisfied!!! I had a 9am appointment and after being told my service advisor didn’t show up to work they said someone else would be right over to take care of my car. I actually purchased my VW Atlas at the Coconut Creek location. I have been terribly disappointed in their service department. I’m talking unbelievably poor customer service. On my first service there they had my car for 8 hrs and when I picked it up the check engine light was on. I kid you not. From the time that I actually called the Fort Lauderdale location until the end it was an exceptional experience. From the receptionist and to Cliff, the service manager, who I had the pleasure of working with. I will be driving the 30 mins vs 10 from Coral Springs to the Ft. Lauderdale location from now on. My car is currently with their service team.My advisor is Robert Milton. Since dropping off the car, I was told I would receive a call/ update if the car would be sleeping overnight in their possession. I have not received a call all day, I have text the number they provide plus called. I talked to a different service advisor that says he will tell Robert to call me, because I don’t know how far or what else is needed or if the car will sleep over, it is now 6:29pm 7/12/2021The service area closed at 6pmNo call no nothing. Very untrustworthy, basically lied about keeping me updated. And this advisor do not answer calls or text at all. Very disappointed, I hope to see my car in the morning when I arrive and in good condition as I left it. After calling again, same advisor that do not belong to my car, because rob do not answer. He says well jeez Robert still haven’t called you yet, he told me to speak to a manager, so I guess tomorrow when I go in, a manager will be there. calling a paying customer about their car should not be difficult, especially when it will not be done same day. its the principle.

There has been major improvements in customer service since my last visit. Last year I was a bit disappointed and almost didn’t return but this visit has changed things. I really enjoyed receiving a video of the inspection, brought a sense of ease and trust through the process.

I brought my car in for maintenance and to address a warning light problem. The car was diagnosed with a multitude of issues that were completed, but the original problem was not completed and now I am told that I have to bring it back and pay another diagnostic fee for something that should have been done initially. I feel the service here has deteriorated from when I first started going here.

Gunther does not deserve any stars. 2 months after leasing a brand new Volkswagen Tiguan I started having car trouble. Since I’ve had my car, it has spent almost 2 months in service. Gunther has not tried to make it right by me so I had to go the legal route - to label my car a “lemon.” My car was to go in for an inspection which was to take 2 hours. Clifton Clarke, the service manager who was to be in charge of my appointment recommended a loaner, since he said the inspection might take 3-4 days. We’ll, my car spent 2 weeks in service! I called Clifton, left him messages with other staff, left voicemails and did not receive a call back until 4 days later. When he finally reached out he said my car will be ready by the end of the day. Except, I did not receive a call back once again. My car wasn’t ready til the following week! When I finally came to pick up my car Clifton did not come meet me to hand me any paperwork or communicate what was done. When I went to ask for my keys I was told he left them in my car. Even the employee at the front desk said that’s weird, they don’t normally do that. Gunther has been a terrible experience overall and Clifton certainly did not help. Stay away from Gunter Volkswagen!

This has been one of the best experience i have had. Gianand the whole team were patient, knowledgeable, and genuine. I tried two cars before making the decision and Gian was the best at everything. I was hesitant at first stopping there,I felt that the cars were out of my price range. I had a great salesman and when I told him my price point, he stayed within range with no pressure. I walked out with a beautiful VW Jetta. They had all the paperwork I needed available, the car fax showed 1 owner no accidents. I have bumper to bumper coverage for 6 years. I know that I will be very happy for a long time with my purchase.I had to come back for a recall, there seemed to be some problem with the emission system. My service manager Jamie, kept me up to date with the progress. They finished up, washed my car and I was ready to go. All of my experiences have been very positive. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new or used Volkswagen.

Overall I’d say it was a good experience I had Juan Fernandez help me with all the paper work and getting up to date info on my car he definitely did a great job called me and kept me up to date gave me a date when it would be done definitely best collision center receptionist I’ve ever had forsure my car was ready in 2 weeks which to me wasn’t too bad I had my mustang gt in the shop for a hole month for ford the 2 big problem I had was there was a huge scratch on the back of my steering wheel thankfully it was on the back side I could still feel it clearly though not sure how that happens and also on my right fender not the one that was damaged bad a big scratch on the side not too noticeable but when cleaned it is was very upset about that but as for the repairs looks great and drives even better just wish they would have been more careful but if you do end up going take pictures of your car and definitely ask for Juan Fernandez really helps you get an idea of what’s going on with the car

These guys over at Gunther took over 2 hours to do an oil change for me, they have no sense of Urgency. I’m not a mechanic but I know it doesn’t take over two hours for an oil change, I had a 11:30am appointment and left at 1:50pm. Take your money somewhere else guys.

The worse customer service in world. i called 4 times and the four times they put me in hold for more than 10 minutes each time.never call them....Answer: first I call parts (2 times) with the same results...wait and waitThen I call sales or service and the girl do not let me finish when she transfer to parts and again...holdAfter all I did a final try on parts and nothing...Thats my experience

Service was great.. however Im given 3 starts because they always be over charging with the labor cost.. I recently went to goodyear to get a waterpump replace on my VW, but I was told that they couldnt do it, that I had to take to the dealer.. I ask the guy if he could give an estimate at least to have an idea what Im against.. estimate was almost $800... labor cost itself was a little over $400.. the dealer charged me almost $700 only in labor not including the car parts... I understand that going to a dealer is going to be expensive, but shoot.. twice the amount on labor... come on.. its funny how goodyear had the amount almost down to the T with the car parts cost.. the labor is what kills you..
