I called today to get an appointment to fix my headlight, and although there was not an availability they allowed me to come in for an estimate. Upon getting an estimate, they decided to go ahead and fix it right then! My headlight is like new! I am so impressed with the genuine care and compassion of the people that work here. Life happens in a lot of places and this happened to me in a parking lot at Publix. Not enough damage to warrant a call to my way-too-high Insurance company but more than enough damage to make me unhappy with the state of my new-to-me used car. Thank goodness I have a cousin who had a similar experience and found then recommended to me State Auto Body. They took some photos, sent me the estimate, which was fair, took my car in on Monday and had it back by Wednesday. I was worried that something wouldnt match, like the color or the way the parts fit together but they delivered my car like it never even happened. So I am going to forget that it did. I never want to go there again, for obvious reasons, but Im glad they are there. Fast, friendly and honest. You cant do better than that.

I was treated well in this family business and the work on my car was good. Any minor issues were fixed and even some work was done free. The manager/owner monitors all work to correct or ensure its done properly.

This place is fantastic. The owner is a very humble, very friendly guy who does excellent work. He even fixed an extra little “ding” for free near the area I paid him to fix. Will absolutely go back there in the future if anything else on my car’s body gets damaged.

This is the second time we’ve come to State Auto Body and received above and beyond service from Herman. We had minor damage to our front bumper which he repaired beautifully. I say it was above and beyond because he also touched up some nicks on our hood and faded paint on our driver’s side front door. And all well within the original estimate. I want to highly recommend State Auto Body. Someone sideswiped my 2017 Mazda CX5, and took off, so I had to self-pay to repair it. Naively, I first went to the dealer for an estimate, and they literally wanted 3 times what I paid at State Auto Body and they wanted to keep it 7-10 business days. I also got another quote from a name-brand repair shop, and they were also very high.Hamill Tire recommended me to State Auto Body, and Im so glad they did. Herman and Livia were so easy to work with, and kept me well informed about the work that had to be done. The body repair was excellent, and the paint job looks tremendous. And the final price was lower than their estimate! I am very pleased with their work, customer service and pricing.

SAB worked on my 06 MX-5. I had a couple small dents, and some corrosion issues on aluminum hood as well as other places Herman spotted. WONDERFUL job. I bought the car new, and it looks new again. Paint matches perfectly. He even went under the hood and got rid of rust on the tower braces and any other place he found (the car had been on Ormond Beach for a year). I would recommend him for any high-end vehicle as well. The work is flawless.

I couldnt recommend this place more - Howard is amazing.One of my brothers brought in another brothers low-riding BMW in to repair its bumper cover which was violated by one of Floridas aggressively high parking bumper stops. Dealing with auto body repairs is no easy task when you have an owner that takes meticulous care of his vehicles. The desire is to have the car look as good as it did before the collision; these guys make it look better... Initially recommended by a friend, I was delighted with the great reviews and chose to bring it here instead of the dealer for the minor bumper and headlight repair job, even-though they were 50 miles from my house. They initially indicated they could repair the bumper instead of replacing it to save some money but we realized that the repair made the bumper material thinner in that area and allowed it to feel less sturdy and flex more than it should when pressure was applied. Although you couldnt see this thinness as the bumper looked perfect, we realized that it may cause an issue later with a paint defect appearing due to flexing while washing or even regular use. State Auto Body quickly ordered a new bumper, painted it and had us bring the vehicle back and they swapped it out while we waited. They made it right and even polished the other light so they would both look brand new.All in all, great service and a quality job done correctly. They earned their 5 stars and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I wish there were more stars to give Herman! For the second time in the past few years I came in needing minor work done to a lease vehicle I was turning in. And, for the second time, Herman did the touchup needed and refused to charge me for it. On Fathers Day weekend I was reminded of my own dad who owned his own mechanics garage and also refused to charge people for minor things like that. It made my day. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else.

FINALLY a reliable and trustworthy auto body shop. It came as a referral so made me feel a bit more comfortable to even give them a chance. Outcome was just as stated on the first visit. Lets all admit the major factors when choosing a car repair shop really are Honesty, Value for work being done and getting your car back in a reasonable time. They get high marks on all 3 and to top it off, you get greeted by the owner of 18+ years who is significantly involved in every part of the experience. He met me as agreed to, estimated the costs, (which where very fair by the way) gave me a date to bring my car in and then a date of completion. Check, check, Check and Check. I even received a text messages during the experience giving me an update and then a final text letting me know the car was ready for pickup. When I arrived, again i Was greeted by the owner, we did a walk through of the work completed. Workmanship was excellent, just as agreed to. Oh and to top it off, they vacuumed and cleaned the outside of my car.....ok who does the little extra things anywhere anymore, let alone at an auto body shop. Every aspect of this experience was well thought out and yes I only paid the price that was agreed to...not one penny more was charged for any bogus add-ons. I really believe this experience is due to being involved and the fact that he has a strong work ethic, not to mention he is nice guy with exceptional customer service skills. A few months ago I was looking for a body shop to paint the hood & roof of my SUV.... The quotes I got for painting only the hood & roof ranged from $800 - $3,000!!! It became clear to me that a woman shopping for a good job at a good price in the auto world all by herself, was/is considered fair prey!! I felt so disheartened!!! Then my neighbor told me about Herman. She claimed that he was fair, honest & that his work was excellent... Although I was skeptical, I decided to go see him anyhow. And, Im so glad I did!!! The 1st thing I noticed was the large ASE Certified sign outside the shop. Then I noticed that the garage itself was clean. Herman immediately came out to greet me. I told him what I was looking for. Then he took a look at the roof & hood of my car & without hesitation, he quoted me a fair price (regardless of my gender)!!! Just like that!!! Quick & straight to the point!! He also told me exactly when to drop off my car in & he even told me what day & time it would be ready!!! Everything about Herman inspired confidence!! Needless to say, I accepted his quote on the spot. Herman was true to his word in every way!!! The paint job was amazing & my car was ready at the exact time hed promised!!! There is one other point I should mention. As it turns out, painting the roof of my SUV turned out to be more labor intensive than Herman had anticipated. A friend of mine recommended State Auto Body a few years ago when a careless gardener tipped over my Vespa scooter and scratched it up. Hermans folks did a fantastic job ... he was even able to pull out a slight dent caused by the tip. And the price was great. I was just back in to have a couple of scratches removed from my car, and once again what a pleasure and result. And I got a GREAT deal -- involved a swap for the old Vespa, which had died. I dropped off my car on 07AUG with a bad scratch while I departed for KW, FL until 10AUG. Upon my return it was ready for pick up and looked great. Herman was polite and the estimate was very fair. i live in 8 miles away with numerous places to take my car to for repair but I chose them based off their GOOGLE reputation.

I got a used fleet vehicle from the company I work for. Long story short, I back into a pole and did significant damage. Im not lying when I say that I got my car back from State Auto body in the best condition Ive ever seen it. It literally looks better than day i got it. Fit and finish are perfect. The panel gaps are even and the paint is perfect. Im thinking about crashing my personal vehicle, so Herman and his team can give it a make over! Haha

I came in for an estimate for my car and met the owner, who wrote down my information and asked me to send him photos of the car to start the process. He told me he would call by the end of the day. I didn’t hear back from him, so I called the next day, only to be told he needed more time for the estimate. When I asked if I should have the car towed to the shop to make things easier, he said it wouldn’t and to wait for his phone call. I still haven’t received that phone call several days after asking for something as simple as an estimate. If it’s not a project the shop can get done, simply say that so I can move on, instead of leaving me hanging. Horrible customer service and communication, if you’re looking for professional, go elsewhere.

A+++++++++++++. Not only do I know Hernani the owner of state Auto body personally, Beyond that there work is on point! I bought a Mini Van for my family and when I went to pick it up the owners wife backed into a stop sign a day before. He assumed responsibility and I took my Sienna over to State auto Body. They went above and beyond to make me happy. I cant even tell were the dent was when I went to pick her up, in addition he did touch ups for me and gave me a detail!! You dont get service like that anywhere else. Thank you State Auto Body I highly Recommend!!!

After damage to my Jaguar from the Hurricane I took my car to State Street Auto Body. The owner was wonderful to deal with and exhibited a passion for customer service. The repair and paint job exceeded my expectations. Would certainly recommend.

Herman of State Auto painted my 2005 G35 Infiniti last year and did such a great job that the car looks new. Looks like it was kept in a garage since it came out of the showroom. Had a problem with a mechanic where the corner of the hood was damaged. I was heartbroken. Decided to bring the car to Herman so that he could take a look to see what could be done. He refinished the area that was damaged and now you cant even tell that there was a problem. When I came to pick up the car, he said no charge. Insisted on doing it as a courtesy. Herman is the best.

Herman was very nice and fixed my company car for a very reasonable price. His work is fantastic and he got the car finished in the exact amount of time he quoted.
