Staff is very courteous and helpful. Love the look. After Pearl closed many years ago its nice to find an art store in this area. Sadly my go to art store in Miami closed due to the pandemic. Prices are higher than Michaels and Walmart for same brand items all stores carry. Their Blick brand is also pricier than Michaels generic brand. Im not a member and dont have their reward program. Maybe Ill ask about student or teacher discounts.

Great store with lots of beautifully displayed items but lacking in the interpersonal skills. The associate did ask if we needed help but didnt offer any insight or knowledge but knew where the display was. Basically we had to guess what some things were used for rather than being told by a associate with at least basic knowledge what the usual purpose is. And the Ki Ki between them was not appropriate when you have 2 customers ready to buy said product not being shown said product.

There arent many specialized local art stores in the area but Blick has a good variety of art supplies. Most items I saw was from great brands. The store is nicely organized and there is really friendly staff. I went to get ceramics supplies and found some items that you cant find at other chain art stores.

I recently decided to return to my roots and create art again. After inventorying my art supplies, I made a shopping list of paper and media that I needed. That said, the last time I shopped was at Pearl Paints on Canal Street in the 1990s and I was sure that many things have changed. I needed to learn about a lot of new materials. The staff at Blick in Ft. Lauderdale was so kind, patient and helpful with me. I was in the store for more than an hour and, when I left I had everything I need, including confidence in the coming results.

They have the WIDEST most diverse art products crafting materials and other assorted colors of paints pencils pens. The customer service was. EXCELLENT. The cashier i forgot her name but she was extremely quick helpful and invested in her work successfully landing a life time customer. Its in the neighbourhood practical store. Amazing and quite rewarding loyalty program its better than Michaels in quality, price, experience, and overall my Favorite store ever ❤️ artists paradise

I love this place!My only challenge was feeling comfortable taking my time to really look. Although there was no obvious pressure from the sales associates, I did feel as though I was being watched as I shopped. Not being a thief, I didnt worry too much about it. I understand that their store contains a million little pieces small enough to fit into a million different pockets. Store shrinkage is an ongoing journey, the struggle is real, I get it. Next time, Ill flash the little key chain fob they gave me. As part of the club, maybe theyll stop worrying that Im stealing.

I wish Blick as a company (not necessarily this location) would catch up with the rest of the retailers as far as online purchasing /store returns go. Service here is always knowledgeable and helpful. Store is always tidy and well stocked. Its the only art store around for real artists.

One of my favorite online stores where Ive purchased art supplies for several years. My first time visiting to the actual store. It was wonderful. Janice was incredibly helpful!! They have the largest selection of Molotow Acrylic Paint Markers so I was pretty much like a kid in a candy store.

The staff are so helpful. If they dont know something they will take the time to find the answer. I used to go to somewhere else but this is my go to spot even if it is farther away. Thank you Blick staff!

This is a really nice art store for the true artists. They have everything you should need from canvases, either framed or unframed, in all sizes to miniatures for architectural displays.This is about the most paints that Ive ever seen, gathered in one place, oils, acrylics, sprays etc. There are also plenty of markers, pastels, pens and whatever.I would have liked to see more supplies for the budding artists that were lower cost. We just dont do things that require a $6+ marker or something like $1.15 for a single color pencil.But if you really know what youre doing, this is the place. The parking is good and the people are friendly.

Small place but they have all the art supplies you could need all at fair prices. They offer an array of discounts too. They also have an awesome, talented staff. If you have art questions, they have answers.

This store is pretty cool and they have a good selection of supplies. I came here the other night to grab a few things before they closed. I get there and it is 7:40 PM. I had read on their website they closed at 8 so I walked in quickly to grab a few things. The second I walked through the door, this woman gives me the nastiest look and screams, we are closing soon! What do you need! In the ugliest and rudest way I was in shock. I yelled back I was going to grab a few things before they closed. This woman then continued to say the rudest comments when I asked where something was. Like what the hell do you not want business? You guys close in 20 MINUTES. Check your schedule to see who was working 2/7/2017 at night ( short, stocky woman). Never coming here again. There was a younger black guy that was being super helpful and cool, while this lady was losing her mind that she would not be able to leave early. Ill spend my money at artrama instead :)

This is a great alternative to Michaels as it has a better selection of art materials for serious artists and less arts and crafts type stuff. Everything I couldnt find at Michaels, I found here even though this store is less than half the size.

Found some great and high quality art materials for my friends daughter who likes to paint and color in coloring books and canvases.

Just shockingly rude..! bought some items online and I called ahead of time to ask if I could return it to the store. I was told - I could, only if they have that item in stock (no problem there). I just received the items (sketch books to be exact) and I went to return one and exchange the other, because I wanted different size. The lady that helped seemed as she was offended that I wanted to do it. Not only in store the same items is twice as expense than online (and thats the reason why I bought it) but she gave me attitude too. And than she wanted to give the money back on the gift card (which Im not intending to going back) and I asked her why.? Without answering anything she asked if I have the same card I used to buy items with. Maybe their management gives them pressure, about accepting items bought online, but customer service was really unpleasant. I definitely felt like she was looking down on me.

The store is great; the employees need retraining. The store has a large variety of art supplies, but the 30x40 frame i saw online wasnt in the store and instead of just simply being told that its an online only and I could get a custom frame, an employee kept telling me that custom framing is expensive and kept enunciating like I dont know what it means. It was the most passive aggressive customer service Ive ever had on top of Easels Art Supply. In summary, if you know what youre getting, this store can provide for artists and craftsman, be very sure that your item is available in store, and dont expect friendly employees.

Good store. I would like them to place the prices to each product. They use index cards for each product section to show prices instead which make it impossible (or at least not easy at all) to track how much you will expend at the end. I was actually surprised (not a good surprise) of how much i ended up expending.I also went to that store because i saw an advertisement in instagram of a product for $ 20 and in actuallity the price was $ 64.Price transparency will make them a better competition to michaels
