This is an older store in need of a remodel.

Dirty, lots of things out of stock, looks like a very old store and nowhere near as nice as any other King Soopers I’ve been in.

For a corporate grocery store — it could be a lot worse. They donate much of their excess waste to the local food banks. Great Customer Service and the prices arent bad either.

What happened to customer service? I tried to buy groceries today, on Saturday morning, with dozens of people in the store they decided to have ONE check out open. People were lined up almost to the back of the store waiting for the one checker!! Self check out had a line almost as long! I didn’t have a hour to wait to get checked out so I left my cart and walked out of the store! Never had I done this before! So dissatisfied. I hope people stop shopping at stores that don’t care about customer satisfaction! They will never change if we don’t force them to!

One of the few grocery stores left that actually lets you PICK YOUR OWN donuts or cookies out without them already being prepackaged. Try going to Safeway and you will see a super SKIMPY selection of donuts in boxes at $0.69 a piece and maybe two different kinds of donuts to choose from, whats next, will they start prepackaging all the fresh produce? Give me a break!

Cool place, but it really needs a better name.

I got a sandwich made by THEIR deli, and I had gotten about 2 bites into it and as i looked down to take another bite i noticed something brown in the lettuce. When I opened the sandwich and took out the lettuce to see it was mud! The lettuce had obviously not been cleaned properly because it was ALL over. I will not be visiting again and dont recommend buying anything from their deli because they do not take the proper cleaning step to insure a safe and clean meal.

This was the first king Soopers in town, I remember coming as a little girl. That is why I choose to continue shopping here. Has that home town vibe that I miss so much about Fort Collins.

Relaxed store to shop in! And they still have a few real check you out stands for us old people.

The service from the staff is always excellent. They are there to answer questions and help whenever needed. Their pharmacy staff is second to none. The store is clean and there are not areas that seem to be lacking in stock save for when there is an overall shortage in the system.The only reason this is a 4 instead of a 5 is the comparative lack of options available at this store when compared to the other stores nearby. There are King Soopers locations at JFK and Harmony and Drake and Timberline that are both significantly larger with a greater variety of goods to be had. That lends to me visiting those stores more often than I visit this store, despite the better service.

I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to write one here. Bread, milk & various vegetable products have been molding or expired long before the expiration date. Often times within 24 hours of purchase. This is a consistent pattern from shopping only here. I do not have this problem at any other local King Soopers, but often times I shop at this location because it is nearest by. I urge you to check your perishable products before purchase or immediately after.

Friendly cashiers. Clean store. It is well maintained and have the best quality and unique products. Cool atmosphere and a great organized environment.

Definitely felt very cramped upon visiting inside, but picking up a curbside delivery was great!

Compared to any of the other King Soopers stores in Fort Collins this store is not up to par for me selection wise. Its very small and often does not carry what I need. Besides that the staff is always super friendly and helpful! I just wish theyd move to a larger location.

Only having self checkout in the morning is a bad idea. Maybe be customer conscious for those of us who shop early for the week. And witnessed a few with no masks.

Websites still show they support money gram. When I arrived at the location they told me they no longer provide money grams. Please update your websites and the money gram website

Basically just a normal grocery store, but the self checkouts are very fast, which is what really earns it the 5 stars. The service is good, the only thing is that the self checkouts often have a line in more popular hours. The protein shakes are on the left-most aisle, if youre wondering.Please mark this review as helpful if you found it to be so.

This is my favorite King Soopers in town. Its small enough that its easy to navigate and I can find everything I need. The staff are super friendly, the produce is always good quality, and they have a nice meat selection as well. Oh and the bakery is great!

The parking lot is super small. It was a quick run for pain killers and a drink. The staff was quick, knowledgeable, and helpful. The biggest downer to me is how small the lot is. Hard to go around its super small. It needs a lot more space.

Always go here if possible. Its a smaller store due to its age, so it doesnt have everything, but the people here are great and try to help however they can. They do their jobs well, and are always fun to talk with. Definitely a great store despite the smaller size.

This a great place to shop for your family. The managers are great, they remember the regulars and treat you like family, Something that is hard to find now a days. All of the employees are very friendly and greet you with a smile. The store is always clean and organized and I can always count on their staff to help me if needed!!!

When I grew up in Ft Collins, this was the only grocery for miles and miles. I live in Montana now but still use it for flower delivery for friends and family. ALWAYS fresh and beautiful. The flower people are happy and helpful and efficient. Bev just helped me today!

Came in for a few cases of Gatorade. I handed the cashier a $20 bill. When she handed me my change and receipt, she then informed me that she could only give me bills back and that the coin change would be applied to my King Soopers card to be used at a later date. So basically, my 73 cents was taken from me, and I can only spend it in their store?!? What if that 73 cents was my last 73 cents? This is basically stealing. Should at least inform cash customers of this new policy before taking their money. I will no longer be shopping at any of your stores.

Happy Holidays to all the employees who helps save our vacation.We are on an extended Ft Collins, Mexico vacation and the check out register/belt/bagging area accidentally swallowed the only credit card we had. A good samaritan and most of the employees did a good job showing concern and compassion.Most people could understand our great frustration.Thanks to Sean, our cashier, The johnny on the spot employee who helped with the screwdriver and light,The young man father of four who took time out of his day to pay it forward in TRUE Christmas spirit, and to manager Dustin, who took control and worked to a happy conclusion, in a frustrating time. Mine was not the only card to fall out of the register, when retrieved and all employees involved spoke of this happening before.2. Cali (I assume the cashier supervisor) please take time to study customer relations. Negativity, eye rolling, and lack of caring are not great traits for a person engaged in service and customer contact. Great prices and selection, but the physical store is on its last leg. Cant wait for the new one to go in down the block to finally have room for shopping carts to comfortably pass each other on the aisles!Maybe Im the only one, but I really dislike the self-checkout things (not just at King Soopers, but everywhere). Ill usually only go to those if I only have 1 or 2 items, and sometimes not even then. It seems like King Soopers is trying to get rid of all cashiers. There has usually been at least one working, and Id rather wait in line for that person than go to the self-checkouts, and have to deal with not being able to fit all my bags on the scale, then having to pull one off to load the next bag, then the machine getting mad that the weight is all wrong.ANYWAY, it seems that now their advertised hours include a number of hours that they dont have a cashier. That (to me) is misleading. The store is not *fully* open.In short, if youre listening King Soopers, Ill pay the 10% more or whatever it is to have an actual person ring me up. Every time.

I dont suggest doing the delivery with this King Soopers. They dont do acceptable substitutes and your order always seems to need them. In comparison Wal Mart has been better at actually having the items they advertise and when they do need to substitute they do acceptable items and ONLY what you allow substituted. By accetable items, I mean you still get what youre ordering just a different brand and they price match. Also many of my items come damaged. Yogurt with holes in the packaging, cans with dents, toilet paper ripped open. Other than bad delivery this is my favorite King Soopers location. Clean and very friendly employees. I am writing to update my review. I was there yesterday afternoon out of necessity. I experienced the same poor service, was yet again followed and upon checkout I was treated as a criminal. I have never stolen a thing in my life and to say that I dont appreciate being treated as if I do is an understatement. I complained to the manager and he all but laughed in my face. I told him that I stopped shopping there because of this and he said ok. Thats it. just ok. I dont experience this at the other King Soopers in Ft. Collins or any other store I shop at to be honest. It is only this store.The other issue I have had with this store was elaborated by another user recently. I have witnessed produce for sale that is crushed, moldy and unsalable. Ive watched a produce team member pick out moldy strawberries and put the carton back on two separate occasions. I guess that is their training? I have also had tomatoes go moldy less than 48 hours after purchase. I returned a bottle of sauce that was expired by 5 months within hours of purchase only to be met with why didnt you check the date when you bought it? Because expired product should never be on the sales shelf??Safeway is slightly out of my way and a bit more expensive but a better option than this King Soopers.Original:I used to shop there exclusively when I was a college student. In the past 2 years its become a dump. The customer service took a huge dive. I used to know all the staff by name. One was even a student of mine. Everyone gave a great experience. About 2 years ago everything at that store changed. I wont elaborate but Ive never had the same demeaning problems at Safeway or Sprouts or Whole Foods or Trader Joes. I will not be going back, and I will make sure I tell everyone I can about the way I was treated by staff and the steep decline in the quality of the products.

This is our neighborhood King Soopers so were here all the time! I know where everything is so thats the main reason for liking it so much. Friendliness varies amongst the employees but in general I like most of them! The building is a little on the older side but the maintain it well!

Funky aisle layout, but employees are usually friendly at least in checkout. Much friendlier than the N College store. Dont stress too much about it being a small store, Kroger wouldnt renew Kmarts lease causing them to close so they can open one of their fancy humongous King Soopers there in the future.

This review is not about the workers who help customers daily, you guys are great. This for your purchasing manager. Your produce is not good. It looks like Kroger employed future hall of famer and former Patriots tight-end, Rob Gronkowski, to pick and package the fruit and vegetables. Everytime I shop at this location it looks like most of the produce has been Gronked or looks weeks old. Just today I bought what I thought was a onion that was fresh. Nope, after cutting it open 3 layers from the exterior was rotten. Im tired of getting nickel and dimed by this store week after week for produce that should be rejected upon delivery or at the very least donated to the food bank (at least value would match price). Just stop taking produce that looks like you bought them from some guy on the side of the road selling stuff that just fell off a truck.

Great prices, well organized, good selection of organic produce and incredibly helpful and friendly staff. What prompted me to write a review finally is that I recently made a purchase here for work, and then managed to loose the receipt. I called, and within 5 minutes not only had the transaction been found, but they are faxing it over to me, all done with good cheer.

I had to redo my review of this store. It went from a four star to a one star.The reason for this is I found certain people in the customer service area not really helping people. In fact, they spend more time talking about the customers, and making fun of them.

Poor produce and lots of unstocked shelves leaving a lot to be desired. Not sure if this store is about to close, but its been run down for years. Best going to any other store in town

Its a good king soopers. Its a little small compared to others but it has most everything you need. King soopers gluten-free selections are awesome.

This is the most ghetto of all King Soopers locations in Fort Collins. My wife and I actually call it The Ghetto King Soopers. I hear its getting an upgrade and its about time. But its still better than Safeway

This store is in a great location. It is close to a bus line too. It has everything you need, including a pharmacy. I would just like to see a bigger bulk section with bulk pricing, but I go to another store for that.

While I dont support monarchies I have to say King Scoopity Doopers is the better place to go for local groceries. Staff are always a little too bit helpful (probably due to democratic oppression from their local lords), and they do a good job of rotating new stuff to keep the peasants entertained [distracted].

This store is the only one I actually like to shop at, the size is great because its easy to know where everything is, I can literally start at one end and travel to the other getting everything I need without feeling like Im in a maze and searching for items. Plus the staff/employees are awsomeand always super helpful!! I see posts of people saying this one is old/dinghy or needs to be remodeled which means clearly they havent been to the Taft store. For those saying its too busy or the isles are too small. Well duh this town in general is busy and too small, get over it.

Ive enjoyed King Soopers long before they were a part of Kroger. They have great prices, nice people, and are very innovative.

I have not really shopped here for food, but I have recently tried to transfer my prescriptions to this pharmacy. Every pharmacy technician Ive come across has made me not want to come in here anymore. They are rude and uncaring, there is ZERO communication about my prescriptions, and customer service is seriously lacking. I am transfering my meds AGAIN so I dont have to deal with them anymore.

The staff were very professional, well instructed on proper processing, patient, went out of their way to insure accurate policy in place and customer satisfaction.

Easy to get around this store. Found everything i needed and was looking for.

Grocery selection is okay, but I got supposedly fresh sushi one night and I could barely make it through one piece before I had to spit it out. Tasted old, tasted like chemicals, and smelled bad. And like 3 rolls were missing ingredients. I got California rolls (which has crab meat, avocado, and cucumber) and 3 were just straight up missing one of the only three things in it.

The dark haired older woman in the blue shirt working the front was extremely rude. I came to get medicine since I am sick and got only a few items. I try and be polite and take my cart back since I only had one bag and could just carry it. The young lady told me I could just leave it, me just trying to be polite said I dont mind taking it back and continue walking with it. The dark haired lady in blue jumps in with an extremely rude and nasty tone and says No we need this!. Umm wow okay. Just was trying to help clear up space and not be rude by leaving my cart. Her coworkers then joked with her right in front of me for being sassy. I will be shopping at Walmart now since I cannot stand spending money and having people give me their nasty attitude..

This store never has what the other two King Soopers in town have. I reluctantly stopped in the other day for their store-brand texas toast, which is a nice square pullman loaf with thick slices and this store only had one loaf left on their shelf that wasnt fully risen so it was a sad 3/4 size of the loaves I usually get at the other two King Soopers. And no, I would not excuse it because it was the end of day: I went to the Timberline king soopers after being let down here and found 4 lovely fully-risen loaves on their shelf. This place needs a lot of help.

Its a good place to shop. It doesnt have everything the 24 hour ones do, like refrigerated egg rolls, but it has mostly all the other things.

The pharmacy here is a complete joke. For the second time in a row they told me my script would be ready in a half hour, I came back three hours later and it still wasnt ready. Now....I am dealing with even more bs and hassles because they are completely unorganized and seemingly incompetent. I wont begin to describe the biggest issue that is angering me right now but lets just say its a problem and the pharmacy screws up big time all the time. I will never, ever use this pharmacy again. If you sue it, prepare for the longest pharmacy lines youve ever seen in your life, ridiculously long prescription fill times and a general inability to perform tasks without major complication. Thank god theres a Safeway closer to me. The only reason I used this kings pharmacy was because thats what is used back home and everything is supposedly on one system for them...who know? Either way....you guys just lost business.

Meat selection was practically non-existent. They had to open a till for us as none were open at 7:30am. Poor food selection, wont be going back.

Old store they dont have as much as some of the other King Soopers around the parking is good cuz its not overcrowded

The staff is always helpful and I like the layout better than the giant stores that I get lost and cant find anything in.
