I had been looking for a little Mom and Pop drug store as the giant chains have messed up my meds and as a chemo patient I cant afford a mix up as has happened prior. I found this sweet family run business and am so glad I did. They call me not loudly over a speaker, but the pharmacist comes to me from around the counter and quietly advises me. Its amazing that they always remember my family members names, even my service dog get the personal touch. I love to wander the aisle but it never takes long to fill my meds and have yet to explore all the nooks and crannies of a million little sweets and cakes from all over the globe. They take time to check my meds and never seemed stressed by the excitement of little grubby fingers or wrinkled ones like mine that grab for each tantalizing discovery. If you have never checked them out, your in for a million holiday ideas. Shop local lets support thelittle guys who heroically served us during the pandemic

I was looking for some hard to find German and Swedish holiday specialties to make this holiday a little bit of home for our children. I struck the mother load at this pharmacy. The prices where reasonable and it beat dragging thru customs as well as out of stock Amazon. The phar pharmacist Barbara stopped her work to help me find just the right band aids I needed to restock our car first aid kits. I filled all the refills on our meds and they even took our insurance . The cashier even had an Advent Calendar. It was so convenient to have everything in one stop.

I wen drop off my meds but came back with a lot of Christmas.they are having a sale and. all the pundits have dire predictions for Santa supply. .chain.Guess even the North Pole has issues. I found yellow duckies and Russian nesting dolls and all sorts of unusual cakes and candies. I hope the cakes and candies make it till December. Grandkids coming for Friendsgiving, duckies may fly the coop. This place is a refreshing change of pace from the sterile super stores. Bring the little ones its quite an adventure and. does not hurt that the staff are so friendly. Signing off with my two cents. Oh no i need to save that to pay tax.

If you have never been into Fort Collins City Drug store then you are in for a treat! If you have been in before, well then you are equally in for a great time. This conveniently located store is a pharmacy yes, but includes an abundance of seasonal and anytime European foods and drinks, with a focus on German delights. Advent and Christmas are especially well stocked times when items like authentic imported Stollen, Gingerbread and the like are available. Everything from German brandy filled chocolate cherries and German processed Dallmayr coffee to Icelandic chocolate bars and Swedish Lingonberry Jam are often available. Please stop in. I was impressed by the selection and attentive service I received and I hope you will be too.

Labor Day with the smoke in the air of course my daughter needs a nebumizer treatment for her breathing. I go to the closet where I keep all her stuff. Being OCD and super organized I knew it would be there. Come to find out it is gone and turn the house upside down. Nothing. Call AFM urgent care which is our doctor too and they are closed. Everywhere is closed.I start to panic and have major melt down all while trying to work myself from home. I call City Drug and the owner drives to the store to meet my husband so we can get nebulizer supplies for my daughter.

Not only did this family store have what no other store in town did when we had an emergency need(nebulizer replacement parts) but the fact that the owners would be willing to leave the comforts of whatever it is they could have been enjoying on a holiday to open up the store for a family in need.THANK YOU.

This is much more than your typical drug store; it has a great selection of European foods and snacks that you won’t find anywhere else in Fort Collins. The store has a charming, small-town vibe that’s becoming increasingly hard to find in Fort Collins. Check it out!

When I want a specialty German food, coffee, chocolate or liquor, I go here. I love the staff, they are like family to me. They smile, hug me and always ask how I am doing. I have no idea where the bad reviews come from, as Ive never met a nicer family in my life. Thank you City Drug for hanging in there all these years and offering the best selection of European foods and specialty items ANYWHERE in Colorado! As for myself and friends, we are grateful for YOU!

Fabulous! This is a real gem, especially if you like German food and chocolate. This is like an old-time drug store which carries items you would expect to find in specialty stores. German chocolates and Christmas candies. Their gift baskets have ridiculously low prices! Better get there before someone figures it out.Came for some German birthday cards and left with lots more. Will definitely be back when I am in Fort Collins again. The store reminded me a little bit of Lehrs Germany Specialties in San Francisco on Church Street. This one is larger with much more merchandise.

Forget Wall Drug. Fort Collins has a definition-expanding drug store where you can buy birthday cards in Norwegian, German sausage and mustard, plus a walker for grandma. And a lesson in the contribution a family of immigrants can make to a community. All that, without the roadside hype, and you can pick up your prescription or OTC med from somebody who actually cares about you. Youll never forget City Drug in Fort Collins.

The folks at City Drug are unfailingly helpful. Weve been going here for years. They know us by name. They have treats for our dog. They go out of their way to be certain that we have what we need. The pharmacists are extremely knowledgeable, very helpful. And the store is great; anything that a person could want. They dont have every brand, but theyve got a little bit of everything. Theyve got a great selection of European food too. Its an eclectic store, a bit funky, a bit unusual, but thats part of the charm. Love this place!

This is the best drug store in FoCo, as its location is great for access by bike or bus from campus, and it is family-owned and has a history here. The proprietors are warm and helpful and human. A plus here is the selection of German and other imported foods plus they have a small but distinguished wine & beer selection.

2 years ago my dad needed a walker temporarily after a big surgery. City drug staff helped me find a good one to rent, because he didnt need it for long. This fall dad was back in the hospital - we were able to get what we needed to take him home from City Drug on a Saturday. Family-owned local business if that is important to you, also.

You have got to be kidding me... This is the worst experience... I will never go back what a rip off waste of time... Completely taken advantage of and disrespected i will drive to Denver before i ever go back....

I went to City Drug with a couple of friends just to see what its all about. I ended up buying some chocolates and the lady that was checking me out kept looking at my friends who were browsing the candy isle. She kept saying what are they doing and peering over my shoulder to see if they were stealing anything. All the while knowing I had came into the store with them. I have never been to an establishment where the owner is so obvious and accusatory. Will not be going back.

I go there a few times a year to get German chocolates and treats, which they are well-stocked in. They also have other European items such as jams, baking goods, sauce mixes, etc. The reason for the 3 stars is that I have a couple of times bought items that turned out to be past their use-by date.

I would post 0 stars but it wont allow me. This is the WORST establishment I have ever went to in my life. Silvia-Marie Wilkins and her employees stole my credit card information. Then had a mix up with the product that was rented to me. And started threatening me, and calling me names. Then had the audacity to say they were going to recharge my card if I didnt bring back what I did NOT have. They should be ashamed in how they run their business. They are scam artists, and Im suprised they havent been busted for fraud before. I would never come back to this store in my life. They dont know how to be professional or how to treat customers the right way. Im suprised theyre still in business.

Sent by the hospital to get a specific breast pump. OWNER LIED to us and claimed they didnt have the high end modle the hospital sent us for, clerk was unaware of owners lie so gave us the right one. We were called back hours later and made to return that modle and given an inferior one and told The hospital wont cover the cost of one we got.... Except they SPECIFICALLY sent us there for that???After reporting this to the hospital, they contacted City Drug and it was explained off as a clerical error on City Drugs. It was obvious to us and the helpful staff at Pouder Valey Hospital that the only error was going to City Drug! This wasnt the first problem with them. The hospital apologized for using this vender and has sent us elsewhere. As well as informed us they will avoid this vender in the future! If they will pull a switcher ooo over a few bucks on a breast pump what kind of people are you trusting to handle your pharmaceutical needs?? TAKE YOUR BUISNESS ELSEWHERE!!! City Drug has no integrity!!

Absolutely terrible company with horrible customer service. They called my home phone number from their fax machine for over 20 minutes constantly. When I called to tell them that they had the incorrect number they acted like *I* was causing *them* a great inconvenience by calling and taking up their phone line. When I asked for the employees name she refused to give it to me. When I called back to speak with the manager I was stonewalled. I cannot imagine running a company that way.
