STAY AWAY- my last two orders from this place has been extremely hectic. Tried to order some poles on my most recent order. Despite planning on picking up the order in-person, John still charged me $9 shipping. After he couldnt get the order done in time I asked him to cancel the order, which he refused and said he was going to send it out anyway...ok then.Fast forward two weeks and no poles. I emailed to check on the status and he apparently never shipped anything out and charged me a $15 restocking fee without communicating anything to me. His website only listed a restocking fee on Cuben Fiber. When I inquired on the charge he apparently just picked a number and went with it. Pretty sketchy to say the least. Maybe in the future new ownership will fix things, but for now go elsewhere.

John makes quality gear for an even better price. I’ve used the Luna 6 for several years and it’s my favorite shelter. He does excellent custom work.

Sent my discontinued MSR TwinBrothers to John to have a stove jack installed from Van, BC. Got it back in a week, just in time for the holidays!!!Quality product, great sewing job, and best of all awesome costumer service! Thx John :)
