Sean Taylor helped me find a Toyota Tacoma. He was super helpful, explaining all the different options and models without making me feel pressured to buy the most expensive version. I ended up going back the next day to buy and it was a super quick process, I was in and out in under two hours. Picking up my vehicle later that week was just as easy there was never any pressure to upgrade or spend more money that I was comfortable with. I was even asked what interest rate and payment I was looking for and they worked find a solution that worked.

The deal we got on our used car was fairly good. But their admin process wasnt the greatest. Their associates kept forgetting to have us sign things and we ended up going back 4 times to sign more paperwork. The people we interacted with (beyond the person who sold us the car) seemed confused and disorganized. I would recommend people to go here for a good deal, the car salesman we worked with was great. Personally, I wont be coming back or buying another car from this dealership due to the admin process.

Made an appointment to purchase a vehicle. The person with whom I scheduled the appointment did not show. I was left standing outside, knocking on doors. Sent an mail, waited for a while then left. EIGHT hours later, I get a response, You are here now, or you were here earlier? No apology, no acknowledgement of the hours of my time wasted driving back and forth. They may offer great service in person but their ability to fulfill the simple commitment of a scheduled appointment or own a mistake and recover makes me question their follow through all together.

Adam in sales was absolutely amazing to work with. We called about a 2021 Supra 3.0 premium and he had ready for us to look at by the time we arrived at the dealership. We test drove it and everything was great with the car but there was a maintenance concern I had about the car. Adam got the service manager to look at the car and fix any issues. The entire time he kept me updated on any issues they found and the status of the car. Overall Adam has been the best car salesman I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with.In terms of finances we did all of our paperwork with Ben. Ben was honestly amazing as well. Super nice guy and he helped us work out some finance issues we had. He made all the paperwork super simple and signing went by really quick. Overall he did a great job as well.We are from the Bay Area but we drove out here because they were the closest dealership with the Supra I wanted. The dealership is overall nicer and more friendly than any Toyota dealership in the Bay Area. It was a great experience and I would 100% make the drive out here again to buy a car

I took my old 1st gen 4Runner for an oil change. I normally do my own service but this time I could not for lack of space in my garage. The staff inside was very sweet, informative apologetic for wait times. Everything was good. My only complaint, there’s oil and oily hand prints everywhere. Both driver and passenger doors, both driver and passenger fenders, the hood and they spilled oil all over my bumper. I went to other stores after the change and leaned against my bumper and it saturated my shirt, which is when I did a complete walk around the truck to see all the oil over everything. They obviously didn’t use fender protectors, they didn’t attempt to clean any of the oil off any surfaces. I just pressure washed it and it came back to me more grimy then when I dropped it off. Granted it’s a 32 year old truck, maybe they didn’t follow protocol as if I rolled up in a brand new Tacoma/4Runner. I am disappointed. After that I got under my truck to check torque on the oil filter and drain plug. At least they got that right and not leaking in my driveway.

We love Folsom Lake Toyota services! They are very professional and work really hard to get you in and out as quickly as possible. If you have to wait for your vehicle there’s a nice, well kept lounge area. If not, they also provide a free shuttle service!

The technicians couldnt recreate the symptoms the vehicle was having and had it back to me within 24 hours with no charge for the inspection. What a pleasant surprise. Had to wait a bit longer than expected to take a shuttle back to my place to get back to work after my lunch break, but Matt helped to get my car prioritized for service so that I only needed to wait a bit longer and then be able to leave with my car already done being checked. The other free maintenance checks I had were also done here and they were all finished the same day. I would definitely recommend getting your vehicles free services up to 25k miles here!

I took my Toyota Venza in to have its 5,000 mile maintenance. After the service was performed I was handed the keys and a receipt. When I got home I read the receipt and it has somebody elses license plate number written on it and the wrong mileage. So now Im not sure that they even did the correct work on my car. I called the Service Manager, left a detailed message. He didnt call back. Terrible experience.

I recently took a job where I needed to commute about 50 miles total each day, and although I loved my car, I was only averaging about 14 mpg in it. After creating a budget and cutting back in all other areas, it was clear that it was time to consider looking for a more practical vehicle. Now although I loved the car I had, my experience buying it was not great. I wont name any names but I bought it at a less than reputable place down on Fulton Ave, with a less than patient car salesman assisting me. I 100% felt pressured and rushed into the deal and knew I did not want to make the same mistake again. I took my car to a few different dealerships, with one of them flat out telling me we cant help you, and I was starting to feel discouraged but I decided to give it one more shot and take it over to Folsom Lake Toyota. When I left the house that morning I told my fiance that I just wanted to go, hear their denial, and come home so I could formally give up and resign myself to driving a car I could no longer afford. I am so glad I took the chance and went in. I had made an appointment with Nate, the Kelly Blue Book specialist, and he was so great at helping me determine what my vehicle was worth and going over trade in vs cash offers with me. After determining that I wanted to trade in, he handed me over to one of the salesman to start looking at my options. Sean was hands-down the best salesman I have ever worked with, cars or any other kind of product. He was patient, informative, friendly, transparent about the pros and cons of each car and just all around a great guy. I never once felt pressured or uncomfortable about a decision, and he was more than happy to pull out any car I wanted to test drive. I was there for 8 hours total that day and he sat with me every step of the way. Thank you to everyone at Folsom Lake Toyota, but especially Sean & Nate.

The check in was quick, but thorough. I was originally quoted a 5 PM pick up time, but I requested something earlier because we came from a number of miles away. Rich said he would do what he could to speed that time up. He actually had the car ready at 1 PM. This included a warranty installation of a new fuel pump. Great service! Very professional!

Took my car in for white paint job honored by Toyota for having defective paint when painted on the metal parts of the car which caused early pealing.I was asked to give a 5 star review which, I did at the time.But, later noticed the headliner of the car was cut all the way across the area where it comes in close contact to the windshield.Richard in collision denied that they had anything to do with that damage when they removed the windshield as they have routinely removed so many in with all their repair jobs. He was very rude and said Id have to prove it happened there. He also accused me of having abused my car. Refered to spots on the windows and paint on the body of the car.I figured the spots he was referring to that were embedded on the car windows and body paint were due to minerals from my apartment complexes fairly recent maintenance work on their sprinkler system. Since that was done, the sprinkles have sprayed on my car and dried everyday in the summer heat here.Regardless, Richard was very rude to me.He said the department took pictures of the car after it was disassembled for the paint job after I asked him to prove, they didnt cause the damage.I later spoke to Carl in sales who I was told was the one to oversee my concerns with my car headliner damage and Richards very rude behavior towards me and the acqusations he made. Carl Said he would speak to Richard and get back to me. I asked him to forward me the pictures that Richard said he took when the car was disassembled for the paint job. ...I never head back from Carl!I than contacted Toyota Corporate sales and they gave me a case# they said they sent messages to Folsom lake Toyota customer relations to contact me. I had no contact, and no phone messages.After contacting Corporate sales 3 times they assured me that Folsom lake Toyota received the messages but I received no response received from them.Than the Toyota Corporate sales rep. said shed escalate the complaint to a senior rep.. I then questioned the senior rep. what would happen now?She said that they dont deal with complaint resolutions like my issue. Id have to take it up with the owner of that particular Folsom lake Toyota franchise! Or, could speak to the company that owns (?) & manages the Toyota dealerships in Texas and California!Why was I put through those weeks of waiting for responses when there was nothing Toyota Corporate sales or Folsom Lake Toyota was going to do about the headliner damage or the rude & demeaning customer relations from their staff? Everything felt like it was being swept under the carpet, as the saying goes.Everything was ignored. Maybe hoping that after so much time I would give up trying to resolve this?I hope no one else experiences this type of issue or behavior from this Company.I used to be a loyal Toyota customer owning 3 Toyota Corollas. This experience showed me how Toyota has changed. It makes me Leary of ever purchasing a Toyota in the future.Please be aware.

Toyota’s Service Department staff go above and beyond. Paul was extremely helpful after struggling with young lady who answered the phone. As soon as he took over the call, my options were explained to me with the upmost courtesy and kindness. My appointment was scheduled and he gave me his direct contact information. The day of my service appointment, he and the other gentleman that greeted me were happy and again courteous. I was in and out quicker than expected. I got a great service in here, this is my first time come here, and Assistant Laura was so nice. I sent my car to have a nomal oil change and tire roatation maintaince. Its just took within 2 hrs, not much time to wait. Normally I sent my car to Toyota dealer in Bay Area, it have to take at least 5 hrs to pick up. So I pretty satisfied with the service and more effectively maintaince they provide.

Going to the dealership is always going to cost more to have services performed on your vehicle but with that cost is assurance. My estimate went from just under $400 to over $800 and I have no proof but feel that in the long run having the extra things fixed reduced the labor cost as well as the assurance that what was done kept us from being stranded in the future. I was kept informed, still ready as promised and always a pleasant experience even during the strained times we are in.

Bought a brand new corolla se. beautiful car. When everything was sign and pay for. They took me to my corolla se and Im like wheres the floor mat. They said it didnt come with the car. Im like the freak is this. Im not asking for the expensive floor mat. Just a cheap carpet one is fine. Thats kinda mess up that the sale agent didnt said anything about it to. I should have went to my trade in car and taken took floor mat see how they like it. Like seriously you spend your hard earn money there and they dont even put floor mat in your new car. Make sure ya ask for it. Or you will be driving your new car without floor mats. Had to put my cheap ram floor mat for the driver side when I got home.

Do not purchase your vehicle here. The salesperson was pushy beyond belief, I didnt get a run down about the car. I had the car for a month and a half and had damage that they say was not prior, but there was no way for me to have done it. They would not help with the price until I pushed. It was $865, they brought it down to $750 which was okayish.I noticed more and more details cosmetic, and unfortunately internal. Theyre trash, very sleazy and dismissive. Mike I believe is the head salesman, and he just did not care. I admit I did not have the warranty, that is on me, but again I had the car for a month and a half. We took it to our mechanic afterward, and they agreed that the damage could not have been done with me. Theyre running low on cars right now so theyre being extra as hell. If you choose to go here please be weary because they were kind at times, but overall not a good vibe or experience. If I didnt have my partner there with me I would have been pushed I to agreements I did not want. Lastly, theyre extended warranty is ridiculously expensive. Im sorry but Im a 20 something during a pandemic, I cant afford everything, ya know? Anyway, theyre trash. Isnt it great to have a sleazier sale person than usual?

The staff at the dealership were friendly and accommodating. However, the recommendations to my car upon their inspection were questionable and overpriced. The total for their recommended changes/fixes was almost $1000. Upon getting a second opinion at another place, I was told the most expensive fixes weren’t even a problem. Further, upon declining to proceed with the suggested fixes, I was given the opportunity to pay at a 15% discount, leading me to believe the pricing was unreasonably high to begin with. Overall, the experience leads me to believe that the staff knows how to help your car, but doesn’t have your pocketbook in mind.

I love the service department! I get my vehicle back when promised. I don’t get the “you need to fix this, that, and four of those” run around. They give you a heads up when you can plan to have those things done. Love the heads up so I can plan. I recently moved 30 miles from this service dept. I went there anyway. I enjoyed lunch across the street and then walked on natural trail!

We have been to a few dealerships and Folsom Lake Toyota took care of us. We didnt feel pressured by any of the salesmen and they always took their time to explain everything. We went back 3 times trying to find the car we wanted because we were deciding between two cars and one was not available the first two times we went in. Vlad called me to let me know that they had the car we are looking for and we went down to look at it. Never felt pressured to buy it and gave us a fair trade in on our car. Matt was very informative and his level of customer service outstanding. I had my vehicle delivered there and he let me know that I did not need to show up and that they would assess the vehicle and get back to me. Within the hour they let me know the diagnosis and a quote for the work. I was unable to pick the car up during business hours so Matt allowed me to pay online and arrange to leave my keys locked under the mat so that I could pick it up at my convenience. Toyota of Folsom lost out on a sale this morning. My husband and I plan to buy a Toyota 4Runner. We have done a considerable amount of research and have narrowed down exactly what we want and are ready to buy. We drove to Folsom Toyota as their website indicated they had the exact vehicle we wanted. We were met by a sales person who showed us the vehicle and we were happy he was not high pressure, however in hindsight it is likely because he did not feel interested in putting in any effort as he apparently did not feel we would actually buy and therefore could not have cared less. When we indicated we were ready to test drive he said well yea i mean only if you are going to buy today. No joke he said that! When we indicated that we would need to test drive before buying a $40,000+ vehicle he made a comment that they just couldnt allow people to just go for a joy ride. Who is taking a joy ride in a 4Runner, its not a tesla or Ferrari? Then he let us know we could go around the block but would need a commitment to buy.Needless to say we left without test driving and without a vehicle that we were fully prepared to buy today. I dont know what happened to seeing all customers as valuable but we certainly felt as though we were not even valuable enough to offer a test drive...its too bad that sales guy lost out on commission and the dealership lost a customer and a sale.

My tire had a nail in it and I took it here as this is where I get all my 4 runner maintenance. They didn’t charge me for fixing the nail. Dropped it off and they shuttled me too and from home. Easy as can be!

Showed up for my scheduled 20k service, come to find out that I have that recall to handle on the fuel pump so I had to leave my car there. I had originally only planned on hanging out for the maintenance service but Paul was so sweet and gave me a rental for the morning while they took care of my 4Runner. Everything was handled super quick and as always everyone was SO NICE. Love Folsom Lake Toyota.

Couldn’t be happier with our buying experience!We knew what we wanted. Previsit email coordination with Mathew was key to a successful buy. He knew our trade and had a couple of trucks available for us to see. We got a very fair price for our trade in and also the new truck. The finance folks were great. Whole thing took a couple of hours. Couldn’t ask for more!

Chris was my service advisor and was extremely attentive, efficient, courteous and professional in every way. He even was my tour guide advising me where to walk during my repairs. Everything was so smooth. We were In and out. Tyler was fantastic and very playful and sweet with my toddler. The communication was excellent; a phone call came through very fast for me to come back for my car. I was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be back to get my car serviced here again!

Wish I could say I had a near great experience at Folsom Lake Toyota, but that would be false. It was A 3 week ordeal of purchasing a used vehicle that literally lost power 15 minutes after purchase on the freeway going 65 miles an hour ( a truck nearly hit my husband) and their auto shop continually returning it to us saying it was fixed, but clearly having the same or worse issues. We video taped our final drive in it. I had researched diligently for MONTHS for the best reliable vehicle in our price range and the 2017 Nissan Altima had excellent ratings across the board. So I was thrilled to see one available at Folsom Lake Toyota for a great price. My absolute concern is regarding their auto technicians and their abilities and possible lack of training, however, the manger in charge there, Rich, seems like a good, hard working guy, but overworked.The only reason I did not give Folsom Lake Toyota 1 star, is the employees we dealt with, overall, had good customer service and seemed determined to help the best way they knew how. In addition, they did provide a rental during this ordeal or we would have been with no vehicle. We have had positive experiences in the past with Folsom Lake Toyota, with several members of our family purchasing trustworthy vehicles from them. We ended up opting out of the vehicle... Toyota’s auto shop sent our vehicle to the Nissan Dealership, where we were told there were several issues with the car, and at least $1200 would be our responsibility to pay. Not what we were expecting from a newly purchased vehicle. We are a one car family at the moment, and with our down payment tied up in the Nissan, we did purchase a nice Rav 4 from them, but not close to the price range we wanted as they have a big vehicle shortage which they repeatedly informed us, and we desperately needed a vehicle to end the nightmare. For this awful ordeal, I truly believe they could have provided either a better purchase price as compensation or something to WOW us as we are deeply affected by this situation and feel others should be wary. They did put our family in harms way several times. Instead, we purchased it for average market value, nothing that would impress anyone and they insisted they were doing us a favor. If you decide to do business with Folsom Lake Toyota, I highly recommend you only buy new or nearly new vehicles, a Toyota model, as that is their wheelhouse, and avoid their auto shop.

Although the basic oil change was a decent price on sale, waiting for 25 minutes to finally get helped is simply unacceptable. I had an oil change appointment scheduled for 5pm and arrived 8 minutes early at 4:52pm only to end up waiting 25 minutes before a manager apologized and assigned someone to take care of me. Disappointed.
