This has been the best customer service that I have received in a very long time. I was kept up to date on what repairs was needed and an accurate timeline for completion. When I picked up the car they made it easy with the speed and ease of doing so. I could not be more pleased with their service.

Excellent customer service! They won’t try to oversell. They’re straight forward and reasonable. Susan and John were polite and wonderful to deal with. Not only did they check the codes on why my check engine light came on but they also topped off my transmission fluid and made sure there were no cracks/leaks. Car is back on the road!

Several years ago I used this location to repair the transmission in our church bus. Yesterday I reached out for my personal vehicle. I was wanting to know my options as I am the unfortunate owner of a 2014 Ford Focus that has had its share of transmission trouble. I need the car to last a couple more years. John researched my issue and although it was bad news, he was honest and didnt try to sell me something that wasnt possible. I will now be able to make a better decision for my cars future because of his research and explanation. If you have transmission trouble, this should be your place to get the work done.

My Dads old 1994 Ford Ranger needed a transmission rebuild. I was reluctant about doing this but wanted to keep my Dads old truck running. Susan assured me they would do this at a reasonable price. It took less than a week and the price was very good. After a few days it needed a little tweaking and they took care of it right away. I couldn’t be more happy to be driving my Dads old truck again. When I picked up my car she printed out the service tech bulletin so I could take it to the dealership and get my car fixed under my warranty. Brian got my car in and finished quickly. He called with an estimate when he said he would. He explained what was wrong both on the phone and when I went to pick up the truck. He gave me a discount as repeat customer even though I had not used him for 5 years. Very fair price and great service!

We took our transmission here on a Thursday after it started slipping and they determined that it was bad. They gave a quote within a $500 range, and said that it should take around 3-4 days. We wanted to wait until Monday to bring it in to save money on a rental through the weekend so we scheduled to drop it off Monday. On Friday the transmission totally went out, it wouldnt shift out of 3rd gear. We called Bryan and he walked us through getting the computer to reset, so we brought it in on that Friday instead. They gave us a discount on a rental and said they could have it done by Wednesday. They called on Monday and was well within the quote window and said it should still be done by Wednesday. We got a call early Wednesday morning and said it was done. A few weeks later the transmission started having a vibration in it intermittently. We called again and talked to Susan, she said to bring it in and let them look at it. We brought it in the next day and they determined that the new torque converter was bad. They replaced it again with no cost to us. They stand behind their work!! They are great people, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend!!

Very professional great staff. It turned out I didn’t have an issue with my transmission at all it was a heat shield that was rattling quick easy fix and honest.

The staff is very friendly and, more importantly, knowledgeable. They worked with me to get the best repair for my vehicle - offering both new and recommended second-hand parts in alignment with my driving needs. This was for a back-end on an 06 4Runner and a brand new rear-end was agreed to be overkill.They also have a repeat customer discount; luckily for me it was not on the same vehicle.They also offered to re-check (for free) the repairs just prior to the 90-day warranty on the 2nd hand rear-end expired - to reduce the risk that I wouldnt have issues after the warranty expires.

I had a transmission problem with my 528i and needed some work done. I didnt know where to take it so i went with the repair place that was open, close and taking BMWs.After a months long repair (without a car) it was the transmission needed replaced. A year and 1 month later. I took it back to where it was fixed. They said it would be min. $800 just to tell me whats wrong. All in it was just over $1000. 1 month later it breaks down and I was told that it would be another $800 to be sure what was wrong. After that conversation by pro transmission I was livid!! Just because I am a woman with a BMW does not mean I will swallow any fishing story no matter how far fetched it is. I understand something about cars and was so thankful that the people at Mr. Transmission did not speak or act as though I only had money not common sense. They fixed my car and wish I would have had them fix it a year ago. It might not have been $8,000 in the end to fix. I will definitely keep taking my car back to them.

Had my clutch replaced on my 2003 Matrix. They performed the replacement under the minimum price google estimates the cost to be.Very professional and timely. Completed all repairs within 36 hours and had me on my way. Definitely recommend in the future.

Had my transmission rebuilt by another mechanic and it wasn’t done correctly. The mechanic refused to make things right so not wanting to part with my truck I brought it to Mr. Transmission and now my truck shifts flawlessly. The service was amazing and extremely quick, dropped it off Tuesday and it was finished by end of day Thursday. Don’t make the same mistake I did and not contact Mr. Transmission first! Make them the first and only choice for your transmission repairs.

Im a little late doing this review but I want to say how pleased I was with the service. I came in to have a fluid leak checked, a free diagnosis. Soon after I dropped my car off they called to tell me that my oil plug had just come loose so I was losing oil slowly. They couldve easily told me any number of things that werent true to get me to spend an outrageous amount on unnecessary repair. But he told me he tightened it up and refilled it and it was good to go. No charge for any of it. He did mention my front brakes needed done soon, which I already knew and had been pushing out because I rarely have time to just leave my car or to do it myself. He told me they could have it done in a couple hours and because of that and their honestly about the leak, I said lets do it. They were done super quick and I was back on the road with a perfectly running car, confidence in the work, and a new shop that I will take my car to from now on. Did it cost slightly more than if I had done it myself or paid a friend? Of course. But you cannot put a price on honesty, integrity, and quality workmanship. You also cant put a price on driving off confident and a guarantee. Im happy to pay ppl what they deserve and support a great business. And the ppl at Mr. Transmission Florence deserve all the praise theyve earned. So glad I chose them. Thank you! Hopefully I wont see you soon😉 But if the need does arise, youll be the first and only shop I call. Keep up the great work!

These people are amazing! I had my transmission rebuilt at a franchise shop localy less than 6,000 miles ago, the system developed a leak that I fixed on my own, according to the shop that rebuilt it the warranty was now void. Mr transmission found the issue in a matter of minutes, made the repairs quickly with an extremely professional and compassionate attitude. I will never use another automotive shop again.

Took van in thinking torque converter was bad. Mr Transmission did transmission fluid flush with Honda fluid and fixed the problem. Brian was very polite and I am very happy with their service.

Explanation and discussion of the problem gave me confidence in Mr. Transmission before they actually looked at, drove, and diagnosed it. Service was fairly quick, just a couple of days. I have only driven it 22 miles since the repair, so I cant say if it was good or bad. Ask me about it a year from now. They came highly recommended, so I would be led to believe they do good work.

Thought we had to replace the transmission in my wife’s Acura. After some tests and a test drive, it turned out to be a bad heat sensor. Couple hundred dollars later, good as new!! Avoided the new transmission. Thank you!!!Fast forward a month or so and another repair needed to be made...unfortunately this time we didnt get as lucky. We had to rebuild the transmission. Based on our first experience with Mr Transmission, we had complete trust in the new diagnosis.Picked up the vehicle from the repair yesterday. Everything seems great, but we heard a squeal in the front passenger wheel area. I know that was removed and replaced in the rebuild, so we called. As expected, the welcomed us to turn around, come back in, and make it right for us.Two thumbs up...again.

Awesome place! He towed my truck for me, diagnosed the problem quickly, and had it fixed within one business day for way less then any other repair shop. Quality work at low prices. Definitely will be using them from now on.Edit: took another vehicle of mine there. I thought I may have needed brakes. They checked them and told me I probably had a month or two of life left on them. Not many repair shops as honest as this one. I can’t suggest strongly enough that you take your vehicle here for any and all repairs. Didn’t charge me a dime for looking at it either. They have earned a lifetime customer.

I had received a recommendation and did my research. I highly recommend them. In fact, I had my vehicle towed at my expense, 21 miles just so they could do the work. They inspected and provided a range quote to complete the repairs. The vehicle was done on time and within the quoted cost. The vehicle runs great and I couldn’t be happier. Amazing there are still businesses that have people that actually care that the customer gets great service and quality work done.

I have been going to mr transmission for over 6 years and they have always been great to me. prices are acceptable and they were willing to work with me on a couple things even though I had stuff in my own life really holding me back. They accommodated me very well and will return again. I have seen other reviews that are negative and I have to say Ive not had any of the problems mentioned in other posts in my almost 7 years of going there with two vehicles...I would venture to say those reviews are by people who dont respect labor or are not too bright.

We shopped around to at least 10 other transmission companies. Mr. Transmission beat them all in pricing as well as warranty. As a matter of fact they were $700 cheaper than their closest competition.

Called on a Friday and they were able to get me in that following Tuesday. By 11 am Tuesday, they had already diagnosed my vehicle (for free). Although I wasnt able to get my vehicle fixed at that time, they gave me a best case worst case estimate (which was only a $500 difference). Brian was very informative on telling me what exactly was wrong with my vehicle and I appreciate him for that. Ill def be coming back for future problems and highly recommend Mr.Transmission!
