Financed a used car, brakes are shot rotors werent turnt. Rims bent, and most of my plastic undercarriage wasnt clipped in. Really expected better for 4.5 stars worth of reviews. No point in bringing it up to management because theyre not gonna do anything about it and play it off like I ride my brakes too hard or I bent the rim myself. 10/10 will not recommend anyone to Florence Toyota.
Contacted this dealer last week about a used 2001 Ford F-150 . They kept me informed through out the week on the availability. When I arrived today I found a few issues not disclosed from contacts with Toyota’s sales dept . The sales manager in the field listened to my concerns and through a brief and healthy negotiation, we came to a number I was willing to pay and he was willing to accept . Absolutely fantastic service! I bought a 2020 Corolla Hatchback here about a year ago. Buying experience was very pleasant and they made everything as painless as possible. I have continued to come here for maintenance over the past year and the service department is a joy to work with. They even sent someone out to give me a jump start one morning after Toyota Roadside failed to show up. 11/10 would come here again.
My Sienna minivan was hit in the back end by a man going 45 miles per hour. The collision totaled my car as well as his. I had no injuries at all. He left the scene in an ambulance so I dont know the extent of his injuries. He was driving a Honda. I had a rental car for a week after the accident. When I went back to Florence Toyota to pick out another Toyota because I trust these cars so much, the guy in the accident with me was there buying a Toyota. He said he wanted a car as safe as the one I was in.
We purchased a 2021 Highlander and could not be happier. Our salesman, Eric, was extremely patient and helpful throughout the entire purchasing process. We wanted to test drive several makes and models before deciding and he kept us informed of new inventory regularly, without being pushy. The entire staff was helpful and friendly throughout the entire time when we were deciding and eventually had committed to purchase.

BEWARE! I went here for servicing on a Saturday for my 2016 RAV4. I was advised that my battery was corroded and needed cleaning and I proceeded to let them clean and service my battery. Not ONCE did anyone tell me that I needed a new battery but low and behold hours later while I am at a gas station my battery dies and my car wont start. So now I have to pay $200 for a new battery the same day after paying Florence Toyota hundreds of dollar to service my car.I call the service department today at Toyota and the manager tells me oh we tested your battery and it showed as fair so maybe the service advisor should have given you the option to replace your battery and maybe we didnt handle that situation the best. No one wanted to offer any type of resolve for my inconvenience and basically just told me thats how it goes with batteries. This is going further up the chain since no one in the service department wanted to take accountability.

I recently took my 2013 Rav4 to Florence Toyota for a warranty issue. I live an hour away but about a mile from Peterson toyota here in Lumberton NC but because of Florence toyotas reputation I decided to drive the hour. I am so glad I did. From the time I arrived the service was great. Patricia at the check in area was so nice and efficient and had my information in a matter of minutes. Jimmy the service manager was a God send. He went out of his way to take care of my issues. He went above and beyond by giving me a courtesy vehicle to use until my vehicle was ready. My vehicle was ready in no time. What a pleasure it was to find that my Rav4 was fixed and preforming like it did when it was new. I must say this visit to Florence Toyota was a drastic improvement to my previous experience. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Jordan did an excellent job of getting me checked in. She clearly explained everything and walked me through the maintenance for my truck.The service bay was quite busy today and the wait time was longer than normal, but the staff kept everyone well informed of where their vehicles were at in the process.Gary made the checkout process very easy and was so kind to pull my truck up to the door. The recall was scheduled to take 2-3 hours. Mom and I were able to have a driver take us to Cracker Barrel to eat. My appointment was at 9 a.m., so we were able to eat breakfast. When the car was ready, the shuttle driver was able to return us to the dealership. I was glad to have a driver available. I promised mom breakfast at Cracker Barrel.The staff is polite, attentive, and helpful.

I went to Florence Toyota on 6/14/2021 with my wife and son in hopes to get a better reliable preowned car with a trade in. I found one I really liked (2019 Hyundai Elantra $17,500). I was chosen by a sales man, and he was great! He did everything and then some to help me out. BUT! I allowed them to run my credit given the amount of money I make and what little bit of credit I had. After running me they found some options. I was given an estimate of $500 for my trade in towards the car and with the apr and fees, I was told that it would be around $411 which was doable. Although I wanted payments $400 or less. I was approached by a finance person and told to go else where because the numbers on the paper weren’t to my liking. I related a deal at another local dealership to him with around the same terms and apr and was told to “go there, maybe they can help you”. Very disrespectful attitude from the guy. I got up and walked out. The sales man even came back to me and apologized for his actions. They had a lady reach out to me the next day to discuss different terms with me about my trade in and $1000 down, that would place the payments at $419 (which was again more than where the sales guy was to begin with). That dealership used to be great, bought a 2015 Camry from them in 2015 new, sticker was $24,183. Dropped it to $19,700 before fees and my payments were $375 a month with $0 down and my credit was in worse condition then than now. The staff before now were about the customer before the sale and making it happen so that they’d make a dollar. Now that dealership just doesn’t seem to care for the help of the customer and making things happen over making a dollar. I was told they don’t do incentives anymore. I wanted badly to do business with them, they have amazing deals, and I am a firm veteran supporter as they’re vet owned and I am a member of a new coming NPO Raging Warriors and we support and help veterans and first responder groups. It kills me to write this but Florence Toyota has went to trash.
We live in Arizona due to Military and Forest Service. I have been searching for a jeep in my local area for a while. After not finding anything in my state that satisfied what I was looking for, I started venturing out of state. Came across this jeep in a search and immediately knew it was the one! The dealership sent pictures, answered my 500 million questions and all with a gracious attitude. The process to purchase, register and ship the jeep was seamless. I already had financing and did not feel any pressure to change to their finance companies, like I have experienced with other dealerships in the past. The office manager was very kind, personable and she knew exactly what was needed for the transaction. The shipping was simple, CHEAP and crazy quick!! I thought it would take weeks, was told by dealership 5 days, but it arrived after only 3 days!! I felt 100% confident in my sight unseen purchase and would do it again! Thank you for supporting your military and federal agencies!

Worked with Milo on buying my new to me Prius! He really had to make some magic happen and he did. I wasnt sure about a Prius at first but im really loving my new car. Only negative is that my plates from my old car were supposed to transferred and this dealership has failed to do so properly now twice. In fact I have a revoked plate now and still waiting on them to fix this issue with the NC DMV....... not to mention Ive had my car since mid feb now. But otherwise would recommend.Update: no one has contacted me even though they said they would. I actually got pulled over bc of it this morning so THANKS. Ridiculous that it still isn’t resolved at this point I bought back in feb 🤬

Those i have worked with from sales to service have been very good, knowledgeable, friendly and upfront with everything since my purchase in 2018. No complaints so far.
Patricia was a very poor service advisor, she tried telling me the repair that was being done on my truck that had 43k miles wasnt covered under factory warranty or my extended warranty until after the fact. She got me to approve a 100$ charge to get the tech to diagnose via signature and i had to wait all day at the dealership then she told me they would have to keep it all weekend long, causing me to have to take a rental and drive all the way back home in Atlanta. After i got home they told me the truck was ready and somehow i got coaxed into paying 578$ for labor and no parts. I feel like i was taken advantage of and she was very aware that i was traveling out of town when these issue occured. Not happy with toyota or their customer service. After a few weeks from the florence toyota repair my truck had the same exact problem but luckily my home dealership was able to warranty the problem, ($2k+ repair) and never charged me. Still fighting with toyota to get my money back 6 months after the fact. I figured a toyota tacoma with less than 50k miles would be this problematic. And the dishonesty i received from toyota corporate and florence toyota is ridiculous. Definitely lost faith in toyota after this whole experience. And still havent gotten my money back from a faulty repair done by the Aces and toyota florence.

I went in on Thursday to look for a Toyota Camry. Denzel Belin was the salesperson who greeted me. He asked if I had an appointment (I did not), and I was told not having an appointment was not a problem. I asked about the differences about the SE and the XSE. I was pleased that he didnt try to sell me up on vanity differences. It helps to research and know what you want and how much you are willing to pay. Denzel got me an extremely fair price with the manager. I am very pleased with that.

My 88 year old mother has been quarantined at home due to the Covid virus for months. She needed her car serviced and a new battery. I called Jimmy the Service Manager and he quickly got his team to contact my Mom and scheduled to pick her RAV4 from over 20 miles away. They picked up her vehicle and left a loaner and returned in the same day. They allowed a touch-less pick-up and delivery with an over the phone express checkout. Wow!!! My husband and I were interested in buying a 4Runner last August. I made it clear to our salesperson that we were generally cash buyers, but may be interested in trading in our RAV4, the numbers would decide for us. After a 45 minute wait, we tried to find our salesperson . When we could not locate him, we left. He called us 10 minutes later and asked where we went . I explained that we had tried to find him, so considering the time, we left. HE HUNG UP ON ME! We went to Charlotte Scott Clark Toyota that Saturday, and purchased our 2020 4RUNNER. There was a similar experience in January of 2019, when we tried to purchase our 2019 RAV4, and ended up at a different dealership. It seems cash buyers are treated the worst! In fairness I must say the SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS EXCELLENT. Just don’t buy here.
I am seeing a review from 2 years ago which is almost similar to my experience, which tells me, their apology to the pervious customer wasnt sincere. We visited Florence Toyota 3/20/2021 at 12:21pm. Our appointment was at 12:30pm. We live an hour from this dealership and drove with intentions on seeing and test driving a vehicle. My husband seen a vehicle from them online and asked if they still had it available. Someone got in touch with him and said it wasnt, but they did just get something else, which we were interested in. The vehicle was an older truck that someone just traded in. They told us they would make us an appointment and to come see it and test drive it. We went and arrived a few minutes early. We were greated and asked what we were looking for. We told the sales associate we spoke with someone and had an appointment at 12:30. She took us to the truck and said she would get the key. She came back without the key, and then said she was waiting for someone to get it for her, but she kept insuring him we werent going to drive it. Keep in mind, the whole reason we are there is to test drive the car, look at it, and possibly buy it. The guy brought the key and said it couldnt be driven because they havent serviced it yet. We drove up there for nothing so we were upset.Then the sales associate says she will speak with someone and see if they could get it serviced that day. She came back and told us to call back by four and asked if we could stay in Florence until then so we didnt have to come back out that way because they should have it done. My husband works weekdays and couldnt get out there monday because he works in Myrtle beach, which is further . We did just that. When we called, another person told us the service guy left at 3 and the vehicle wasnt serviced yet. She asked us to come Monday. We told her we couldnt. She said she was sorry but theres nothing she could do.On top of this, we got a phone call from them at 1pm asking if we were coming our appointment at 12:30. We told this person we were there already and she said okay she will put it in the system.This company is not organized, they do not communicate with one another. They will NOT put you first unless youre buying a newer car. We wasted our whole day for nothing and no one seemed to care. The experience was exhausting and unprofessional to say the least. We loved the way the truck looked and we were looking forward to buying it. We just needed to see how it drove.

I drove over 100 miles to get my car from here, that’s how great they are. I was at my wits-end having driven over 1500 miles in two weeks (yes, I kept track) already trying to find a car that wasn’t a scam. I found my car through USAA’s car buying app and Florence Toyota was the ONLY dealership that recognized my military status and treated me as such, respectfully. Eric Johnson was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, even though I bought a Honda Civic and not a Toyota; I was never pushed to finance through them or to get a Toyota instead. Eric even sent me a detailed video of my car so I could see every part of it before making the 2 hrs drive. I had absolutely no regrets or concerns buying my car from here, they treated me like family, and I will definitely look here first next time I go car shopping.

I visited the lot recently and Ron was very helpful! He definitely knows what he’s talking about when it comes to cars! I was able to figure out exactly what I liked and disliked in a car. I will definitely be back in the future.
Florence Toyota today was AWESOME! Especially, Christopher M. Lee! I am 65 years old with a lot of experience dealing with cars and diagnostic services. Today I had a severe leak under the floor carpet, passenger side on my 2007 Toyota. Tony discovered the problem which also effected under the carpet in the rear passenger side as well. Chris was extremely professional and courteous. I felt totally confident that he would stay on top of this and keep me well informed - and he sure did! Great guy - great experience - Jimmy, the Service Manager, is to be commended on such Super employees!

The service advisor Christopher M Lee is very knowledgeable about car repairs and he also stays in contact with you concerning you vehicle during the duration of your vehicle repairs.
