Hannah, the associate who helped me, was not friendly whatsoever. She barely acknowledged me when I asked for help and she made me feel like I was interrupting her while she was sitting at her table. There wasnt even another customer in the vision center! If you do go here to get glasses, definitely ask for another associate if you see the name Hannah on the name tag of the person helping you. Youll easily be able to pick her out because she wont have a smile on her face and shell be on the verge of being rude.Completely unprofessional.
The Optometrists are amazing and kind. The help, however, are the complete opposite--which is why I am taking away 3 stars from my review. I just called into the eye exam center to switch appointments with my sister due to an incident that required her to have her eyes checked before school started. My exam was set for this month while hers was originally at the very end of august, which is after school starts. As I was saying, I asked the employee, her name was Amanda, to assist me with the rescheduling process kindly and formally. Right of the bat she became irritated with me because I did not spell my last name clearly enough for her to hear. She did not ask me to repeat myself politely. I did not allow that to bother me. Going through the process, however, as I was giving her the information, apparently I spoke too much and she cut me off by saying This is a difficult process I have to go into the computer and cancel her appointment...etc! (Emphasize the exclamation point) In utter respect to anyone I meet, I replied with a composed Right, I understand. Then we had a few more problems but they were solved with the same attitude. I am not sure if you had a bad day, Amanda, or if you do not like speaking with minors thus you take advantage of the age gap to express your emotions, however, even students know that dealing with customers, no matter how outrageous they are, you give them your utmost patience and respect. If I was being a true hassle, there are alternative and kinder ways to indicate that I needed to slow down and give you time to process information.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff they have fixed my moms glasses on more than one occasion when shes broken them or even if they just need adjusted over time, also very helpful whenever weve called with any questions and concerns. They always try to work around my dads crazy schedule and have no problem when hes had to call and change the day or time. We have gone to Walmart vision for years and will continue going.
The first price you see in the photo is for my eye exam, I had insurance so I only paid 10. The next price is because I mentioned the word contacts. Im giving it a three stars instead of a full 5, because be forewarned. The staff was friendly and helpful in helping me get a new pair of glasses l, but I had mentioned maybe looking into some contact lenses for convenience of my job. My glasses came in, in two days, which I was pretty impressed. I cancelled the scheduled class to show me how to put contacts in because I had just changed my mind. So I called the office back and asked them for a refund of the CONTACT EYE EXAM WHICH TACKED ON AND EXTRA $50 FOR HIM TO GIVE ME A SAMPLE FOR EACH EYE WHICH I NEVER GOT. The so called contact exam is non existent. Mind you- Ive worn glasses for almost 10 years and Ive been to multiple eye doctors offices and have had countless exams done for prescriptions, and this was actually the first time I ever mentioned anything about contacts... ever. Nothing was out of place or any different than any of the countless other times Ive gotten my eyes checked. They totally ripped me off of $50 that I could kinda use right now, but since he took that extra time out of MY eye exam, which like i said nothing was different from any other time Ive gone, they wont refund me my money for the exam or the contacts samples I never recieved. My actual eye exam was only $10 yall. But my bill was 60 because I mentioned contacts, and from previous reviews, yeah i probably should have looked somewhere else. But i figured maybe they changed their ways... shame.
My family and I have been patients here for a few years now. We love the service we recieve. EVERYONE is very friendly. The Dr. Is great with our children. When 5 out of the 8 people in your family wears glasses, Wal-Mart vision center is the most affordable. Repairs are always taken care of right away. 5 stars for the staff!!
Very positive and kind workers especially the worker Abby she’s very helpful and there to help you find what you need.
