I visited 3 furniture stores and my experience was horrible. I walked into Flag City assuming the same treatment, I was so wrong! the whole staff was nice, welcoming, and very helpful. I doubt that I will ever go to another furniture store.

If I could give zero stars I would... Stay AWAY!.... 1. Their customer service is by far the worst Ive ever experienced. We originally ordered a couch and PAID IN FULL Aug 1, 2020 and were told 10-12 weeks. In December after multiple calls to the company (never a proactive call to us from Flag City) we determined the manufacturer went out of business. During this process we were told multiple times by the receptionist that she would follow-up and call us back, which didnt happen. We had to call in to the store multiple times just so they would do their due diligence and realize their supplier was out of business. 2. We were forced to take store credit when they couldnt deliver the original item. Okay understood they couldnt control a manufacturer and gave them the benefit of the doubt. Selected and ordered another couch on January 14, 2021 and were told 8-12 weeks. It is 13 weeks from the second order and we still do not have a couch. Called to check because never once got an update or heard from them on the timing of our order, and was told theyd get an update and call me back within 2 weeks. Never got a call (SHOCKER!). Finally got a response after multiple calls and they said part of the couch was made, but other materials were delayed at manufacturer and they still cannot give us a date. I requested they escalate it with the manufacturer (Why wouldnt they be doing that already on my behalf?). Supposedly, the manufacturer may finish by May 5th. Im not holding my breath and will be filing a Better Business Bureau complaint in the mean time.

So I very seldomly write reviews, but I must say this is well deserved!! My husband and I went into Flag City today on a whim looking for a new mattress. We had already been to several different stores and had no luck. We were both already so frustrated with shopping that we werent expecting much. When we walked in we were greeted by a kind gentleman who was very endearing. I explained to him what we were looking for and the budget we were trying to keep. And he was able to make something work for us. I would 100% recommend going there! I cant thank them enough! I will definitely be going there again!

We have been looking for a few months for a bed and other things. Probably the most knowledgeable we have spoke with and great selection. They went above and beyond to show us everything and explain it. Was able to purchase an IN STOCK mattress and delivered the NEXT day! Family owned and operated. And have made to order options. Great prices also.

If they had a zero star option, I would have chosen that. I do not recommend this store to anyone.

My husband and I went in looking for a sectional and recliner and walked out with just that! The items that have prices on them are high. Most have no price. I walked around in the store for 15 minutes and even stopped at their online search kiosk and noone approached me to say hi, welcome nothing. They were too busy in the back talking I guess. I wont be back.

Ordered two end tables on Sept 11,2020. They came in on October 14. No issues with timing considering current COVID issues.Brought tables home to put together. One went together with no issues. Other did not have proper holes in leg frame. Called and spoke with Cathy who said to bring everything back and they would order a new one. Took it back to store and Cathy tried to tell me I put it together wrong. Owner corrected this and told her to order another one. She said she would call me with an order eta.Less than an hour later, she called back and said they were able to put it together. I returned to the store and the table was together but the screws were still not installed as there were no holes put in by manufacturer. I pointed this out to Cathy and she told me it was “still sturdy” and tried to say adjacent screws (which did not secure the actual top to the frame) would hold it together. I told her that I still wanted a properly installed table. She got one of the people from the back who put it together. I pointed this out to him and he rudely said “Do you want me to drill holes in it?” and didn’t seem to care.I called him out on his rudeness and told them that is not want I wanted. All I wanted was a new table that I can assemble per manufacturer instructions. Andy ( original and professional saleswoman) stepped in and said she would reorder.Update:Got the table without any further issues. Some attitude adjustment and this place would be ok.

I would never recommend this place. I was told my furniture would be delivered Oct 1st 2 months after I ordered it. I called on Oct 12th still no furniture is not even made at the manufacturers yet so I all to cancel and get a refund. They say no refunds or exchanges. well I dont have any furniture is not even made yet so its really not a refund or exchange. Im not giving anything back I just want my money back for no product. They refuse! Their giving me store credit for something I dont even have they dont even have it. Any one wanna take my case I think I deserve my money back. Place is a joke

Great service great people! We were in the market for a new couch and a coffee table. They gave us one heck of a deal for both and sold us the floor model so we didnt have to wait and its well built and great quality . 10 out of 10 would highly reccomend!!

I have been taking my time and searching for some good quality flex steel leather furniture and yesterday 7/22/2020 I went into Flag City Furniture on St Rt 224 (Trenton Ave) in Findlay. My daughter has bought her last 2 living room groups there and wanted me to check them out. I had to unload my oxygen concentrator out of car and go in. There was 1 woman assisting a mother and her daughter looking at mattresses 2 men in the office section and another woman walking around talking on phone. Everyone seen me and had eye contact.... impossible for none to not know I was there because my O2 concentrator will beep really loudly at times.... I walked around for more than 20 mins to a half hour even passing the office and lady who finally was off phone as I was going into back room.... yet nobody acknowledged my presence at all.... I pulled my oxygen back out to car left.... today 7/23/2020.... next day went across the street to Art Van and spent 4700.00 and was acknowledged as I came in... Flag City I will not acknowledge your presence as a place to do business...

I truly appreciate the education I received while deciding on a queen mattress for my daughter and a king mattress for myself. (I asked a lot of questions as this was a MAJOR purchase for us. )They took time and explained the differences in quality and construction of the mattresses as well as suggested ones to try based on my and my husband’s sleeping styles. As of now the experience was great and put me at ease with such a large purchase. However, I hope how I feel now does not change upon receiving and using our mattresses. Here’s hoping supporting a small, local business was the right thing to do. We will see.

Our second time shopping here..we loved our couch and sofa so decided to go back and try to find a bed from their mattress section. They did not have the exact set we had found online and liked so he ordered and was able to to the set we wanted in under a week. Bought a matching couch love seat and bed rooms set got an amazing deal it was to good to be true it is all falling apart as in the couch has boards they hurt ur back and ribs when laying on it. Also the $500 dresser drawers are falling apart when I brought it to their attention he quickly got irritated but sent someone out and he tried fixed it with a piece of cardboard of my 24 pack of pop moral to the story its still broke and they arent doing anything about it Ive attempted numerous times and they are not willing to help with over $5000 purchase there. I would no at all recommend this place to anyone.

BEWARE of promises from Kevin Hall (owner). I was promised 3 batteries with furniture I purchased as part of the deal. When they didn’t work, he was unwilling to pay for ones that would work. He claimed he already gave me too great of a deal. He was very rude and then stopped responding. Will NOT be returning or ever spending $ here again.

I have yet to have an experience here that didn’t go wrong. First time the delivery was 10 days later than stated and they delivered the wrong color bed with the correct color dresser. They made apologies and gave me a free set of sheets so I just stocked it up to a rare mistake. Next time I went back they delivered the wrong size headboard, the woman who co-owns the place had the nerve to tell me it was my frame that was the wrong size and that I needed to buy the proper one from them, I did it to prove that she was full of it and showed them as much. As apology they gave me a free adapter kit so that I could fit the headboard to the frame. I would have been done with them for good but needed to shop there one more time for the night stands that are a part of the set that I previously ordered and couldn’t find at other locations. It has been almost a month and they still haven’t been delivered after numerous promises. Don’t shop there unless you want to pay high prices, deal with a difficult owner, wait weeks for your orders, and have the possibility of them being incorrect on top of that.

Purchased a Cat Napper power recliner, the frame on the chair is bent causing a bang sound when reclined. I have contacted Cat Napper (Jackson Furniture) who tells me all warranty work must be initiated through the dealer. I have e-mailed and spoke with Flag City Furniture, they refuse to request warranty work to Jackson Furniture. Do not shop at Flag City Furniture once they have your money there done. The most terrible customer service I have ever experienced.

Made my 4th large purchase there today (1st-King Bed and Mattress, 2nd-Reclining Sofa and Love Seat, 3rd-Pub Style Dining Room Tables and Chairs) that consisted of sectional, 2 accent chairs, and Catnapper power recliner. Kevin remembers me every time and does not push for the higher end stuff and is honest about lower priced furniture. I read a lot of these reviews and realized some people have champagne taste on beer money. If you fill your house w/ furniture for a couple thousand dollars, the longevity will not be there and that does not matter where you shop.
