Have always had good customer service here until the Canadian border opened and now they are backed up with COVID tests. I dont feel travelers wanting to go to Canada should be a priority over people getting their much needed prescriptions filled. After 5 days of waiting for my prescription I was told they couldnt fill it at the moment because its in a time sensitive safe so it would be at least another hour. I left and 10 minutes later I got a call saying it was ready. Apparently the time sensitive safe magically opened??

This Pharmacy wont answer the phone I have called numberous times and am always on hold for simple quick questions. It is faster to drive to the place in person and wait in line. I would give this place zero stars if I could.

I can no longer do business with their pharmacy. Last month it took them 3 days to fill a prescription should have been done automatic. Worse turned out was done a full day but never notified me as supposed to. Today I spent 2 hours on phone trying to check status and was disconnected 3 times. I gave up and went to the store in an attempt to find out the status, line would have been over a 90 minute wait for information minimum. I gave up and had my doctor move it. The new pharmacy then told me the insurance website shows it filled on the 5th? I was never notified and couldnt get help from them to know which is absolutely ridiculous!! Im done, theyve run me out of my prescriptions twice now! Im a long haul trucker and cant accept this happening because puts me out of work until get them. Good riddance!!!

I am embarrassed for this Walgreens and I am not going here anymore. My 21 year old deaf daughter came here yesterday 9/9/21 and she let the lady know she was deaf and asked for pen and paper. This lady was so rude to my daughter that other customers in line were also shaking their heads with discuss. I totally understand being understaffed and over worked but this is redicoulouse and on top of that they are constantly giving me wrong meds and I wait hours for them to fix

I had a covid test scheduled fie 12:15. I arrived at the Walgreens drive-thru at 12. After waiting in a line of cars for over an HOUR, I pulled up to the window at 1:20…At which point the clerk said she wouldn’t do my test because they were going on lunch in 10 minutes. I complained and she got the pharmacist who repeated the same and rudely told me he’d go ahead and do my test but there would be no one here to read it. I was flabbergasted. He told me I could come back sometime after 2 for my test. Again, I had an appointment and there was a line of cars behind me who had also been waiting for over an hour. I just moved from out of town and this service is atrocious. They are understaffed and very slow moving. The pharmacist also wore his mask below his nose. Super cool.

Im not sure if its lack of staffing, training, or what but the Pharmacy here is just terrible. Avoid at all costs unless they happen to be the only place in town that carries the drug you need. In that case may god have mercy on your soul. In most cases it would save time and sanity to just drive to Lynden or Bellingham instead.I sincerely hope whoever owns this place or is responsible for the quality of service comes down with ____ or ____ rot and this is the only pharmacy they can go to.

Husband has a kidney stone and they forgot to fill his pain meds and then said it would be another couple of days to fulfill. Also waited on hold for 30 minutes to be hung up on when it was finally my turn.

It is literally impossible to get ahold of the pharmacy. Called in multiple times to get put on hold only for the call to disconnect after 30 minutes. Did this 5 times before giving up. Will have to go in person with my 2 kids which is also a hassle since the wait times are insane in store as well.

Pharmacy needs to be properly staffed. Two techs in duty on a Saturday afternoon. I was told that it would take “a day” to fill my prescriptions. I was expecting to wait, but this is absurd.

Why is it not OK FOR A HUSBAND TO USE A REWARDS CARD- especially if it is ok that we share a bank account, why question this petty issue... How rude! He is able to use rewards at other Walgreens... The lady at Ferndale Walgreens wouldnt allow my husband to use my phone number

While shopping there in a mask as everyone who is in stores or public are supposed to do there was a lady not wearing one when I asked the clerk at check out if there was a mask requirement for the store he stated no while I know as I walked in theres a sigh stating mandatory masks to be worn needless to say I left did not buy my items he was rude about it and I was sick at the fact they allowed this in there store

Got passport photo taken here. The lady who took the photo was incredibly slow. When I got my photo I looked like a serial killer. Due to my time crunch I was forced to use my serial killer photo and I am now stuck with it for the next decade!

This pharmacy is one of the worst in Whatcom County. Every time I have to call or go through the drive through or stand in line at this pharmacy, its a minimum 30 minutes! For example, I am currently on hold with the pharmacy and have been for 20 minutes! No one has even picked up the line! Go elsewhere if you can! And they do not follow up in a timely fashion with prescriptions that are sent in from doctors offices. They have always been understaffed!

I live 5 minutes from a RiteAid in Blaine Wa but drive 20 Minutes to the next town to go to Walgreens. I have used Walgreens Pharmacy for over 20 years and when I moved to Washington I wanted to continue. The Ferndale Walgreens had in the past been a good fit for me but now I am treated poorly the staff is many times rude and not interested in helping.I had recently gone to fill a new scrip and found out that my insurance would not cover it and the cost was over $ 1200.00 for 1 month when I called they didnt act like they cared when I asked if there was any other options like AAA discount or such. So I went online and printed out a coupon for Fred Myers grocery store and went in thinking that the coupon was a joke and they said yes it was fine and my cost would be $55.00.I know that this is not Walgreens fault but after being treated rudely so many times lately I think I will move my business over to Fred Myers.

I was a certified tech for 17 years. It was unheard of to leave the customer hanging for minutes on end without acknowledging them, whether inside the store or in the drive thru. We always had someone working the counter or the drive thru, especially during the busy hours. It was unheard of for a customer to have to wait for 20 minutes. If a customer came through the drive thru we always acknowledged them right away, even if we couldnt get to them immediately. I know what it is like to work in a very busy pharmacy. Most customers do not understand what goes on in a pharmacy. But how a pharmacy is run all depends on the pharmacist on duty. With the Walgreens in Ferndale, a little more courtesy toward the customers would help. It is unreal how long the wait time is when I drive through the drive thru. (Not always, but most of the time) Ive been the only one in line and Ill sit there for 15-20 minutes without anyone acknowledging me. Working on a customers insurance problem, or trying to fill a prescription is unacceptable. The drive thru should be to pick up a prescription and then move on. I can see if the pharmacist is just finishing up on a prescription, but having other cars wait for a half an hour or more is absolutely unreal. Ive been 6 cars back and have waited close to 40 minutes. I do know the techs inside the pharmacy are doing their best, but personally, the customers need to come first. Acknowledging the customers should be a given. If there are 6 cars in the drive thru, a tech should be at that window and never leave until the customers have been helped. At least we would know a little more about why we have to wait so long. That being said, the techs seem to be doing their job.......its the pharmacist that needs to have more control or more part time help. The techs are only doing what they are allowed to do because of the pharmacist on duty.

Scripts are NEVER READY, Pharmacy Staff is indifferent and rude - miss the location in Bellingham we used to use...NEVER had so many issues like the Ferndale location, even their hours are screwy. For God Sake, hire some more staff so you can at least get scripts ready, then maybe find folks who care about their job AND the clients they serve!

Once again I wish I could give this operation a zero but I dont know how it is possible under Google reviewsPharmacy finally called me back this morning to say that they still havent been able to get ahold of my cardiologists office at PeaceHealth and I called him out on that because I knew it was a lie especially when he said theyve been trying to reach him by phone and fax for 6 weeksthe. How stupid would I have to be to believe that story.they still did not have approval to provide one of my heart medications which I am running out of today so after I hung up on him I phoned the doctors office got through immediately told him of my problems and they say they were stunned at the comments from this Walgreens Pharmacy. You think Walgreens would be a professional operation, not this one!The cardiologists office got a prescription called in to RiteAid and I will be able to pick up my necessary heart medication this afternoon as I am leaving on an extended trip tomorrow morning.Dont do business with this Walgreens location, absolutely useless!
