These guys took my 2002 Avalanche and my Suburban, brakes, rotors replaced. Solved every check engine light issue I’ve ever had. Engine valve covers have been replaced, motor mounts replaced. I broke my door handle on my Suburban and they even replaced that. The prices and quality is definitely one of the best in Hope Mills/Fayetteville area. If not the best. I don’t even know their names but these guys work hard. I’m still surprised that a mechanic shop replaced my broken door handles. Thanks my Suburban and Avalanche is running like new. By far the best service I’ve had in NC. Friendly, fast and affordable. I got a few quotes for getting my breaks done and they were 2/3 of the price then the other three places I went to for quotes. Great place to get work done and knowledgeable as well. If I was still staying in NC I would definitely use them as my primary mechanic. Highly recommend you come here before you go anywhere else.

This is my go to mechanic for everything. Steve the owner is a good Christian man who treats everyone fairly. As a woman I have been taken advantage of at every sort of automotive business but not at Brakes-N-Axles. The prices are fair service is fast and friendly. If you are told your vehicle will be ready at a certain time it will be ready.

Call ahead to find out when the best time is to bring in your car. They are very busy and a small shop with a lot of customers. I brought my car in with break issues. In an hour and a half they had the issue fixed for a more than reasonable price. Also found another important issue that I had not noticed and took the time to show me with a quote. Very good and polite customer service. Not what I was expecting at all! 5 stars!

With no appointment, they were nice enough to work us into their schedule. We needed our truck repaired quickly and they were there to help. It was greatly appreciated. We will definitely use Brakes-N-Axles again.

What a wonderful experience considering the fact I was 7 hours from home! My sons neighbor suggested I bring my SUV to get the brakes and rotors worked on (I had new parts from auto store) as my son & his neighbor were not able to get the rotor off. Mr. Steve took me within 45 minutes (day after major holiday) and completed the job within 1.5 hours. My rotor was completely rusted into another part and I truly wasnt sure if the shop would be able to remove defective part. Thank goodness they were able to remove it and put on the new brakes & rotors. When I asked what the bill would be, I was told $85.00. I said, Mr. Steve, thats not enough--your team worked on the SUV 1.5 hrs. He replied, Miss, youre not in Pennsylvania, we treat our customers differently here in North Carolina. I just laughed and said, please take $100 for my bill. I really appreciate your kindness and taking care of me--its a blessing.I observed this gentleman to treat ALL of his customers and employees with respect. I highly recommend Brake and Axel in Hope Mills, NC. If I lived there, Mr. Steve would be my mechanic always. Glad to know I have a place to go if I visit NC. I was driving on I-95 from Orlando FL to Atlantic City NJ, when suddenly my brakes failed. Took the first exit and google this place out, drove 11 minutes from the exit using my e-brake to stop. Got to brakes and axles and Steve the shop owner or manager looked at my SUV and immediately got it up in the lift and determined that my rear passenger brake hose had failed, there was brake fluid everywhere. Steve contacted parts stores in the area but no one had the part in stock and at the last minute found this place that could make the part. Steve when out of his way by letting me used his personal vehicle to go to this place to have my part made. Steve in my book is an outstanding human being or angel that at the and of the day made my family get back on the road 2 hours later. Everyone on the shop was great and Steve in my book an Angel from God.

Great service. Great people. Took my sons car there because he thought he needed new brake pads. Guy drove it around the block, took all the tires off and checked it. Told me everything was fine. Had some brake work done here before... awesome people...good prices.

Well....I went here, so it seems everyone else did too so the work must be good! I like to listen and look and everyone that comes in asks for Steve so if you have a problem...ask for him. He does seem pretty nice though!!! His group of mechanics seem like good ole country people. My kinda folks!!! They fixed my master brake cylinder. I didnt feel ripped off and had priced the part before I went to the mechanic. Good honest working people here with a lot of knowledge!!!!

A good car repair shop is hard to find. I thought I might have a tire, axle, or alignment problem, and took my car in to see what theyd say. After a short drive, I was told (and shown) it was the left rear tire. I am particularly impressed receiving professional advice without cost, and should I have a brake or axle issue in the future, will certainly return to this shop.

Steve and his guys are the best. they can fix about any thing at a good price and time on your vechile to be done. And if they cant fix it they will tell the best play to go. If you have not found them I look for them cause you cant get good people like this anywhere

Was recommended to this shop by a friend after the dealership quoted my $500 to replace my oil pan. These guys stayed open late to look at my car for free and give me a second opinion. Then Steve quoted me $250 to replace the two parts where the oil was leaking from, and the oil change that would go along with it. THEN he squeezed me in to his busy schedule so that I could drive home on time for Christmas. If I werent moving out of town, I would be this shops loyal customer for life. As it is, I will recommend them to all my friends.
