He helped us get our new pieces in under a week, when we had heard from friends about months-long waiting right now on new appliances. We didnt even know how to disconnect our old ones, and Darryl said not to worry, they would take care of EVERYTHING. So, amazingly, they provided the most service at the lowest rate we found! Luke was the technician who came to do the installation, and he did an incredible job of problem solving when we learned we had ordered the wrong style of range to fit in our cabinets. This store may be highly rated, but not from me..I’m wanting a Maytag Washer and Dryer, but unable to get anyone to answer the phone.. told to “text” salesman on recording..( I don’t know how), gave a cell phone number.. told me to call that same number..no way to leave message….both mailboxes “full”. wonder how anyone who has a problem could get help…how can someone “stand behind” a products is they can’t be contacted..I did not want to go to a big box store, but guess I will.

My refrigerator quit working and I was in panic mode! They got me on the schedule the same day I contacted them! Luke is a delightful technician. He quickly diagnosed it was the fan. He had the part in his van and in less than an hour he had fixed the problem and my refridgerator was working. Luke then was so concerned about the billing. The part he installed was of better quality but was a higher price than quoted before he started the job. You do not find such a compassionate young man in the work force. Im blessed to have found Dependable Maytag.

Dependable Maytag saves us again! The spin cycle in our washing machine stopped working on Memorial Day. I texted the owner late in the day, & heard back from him quickly, getting us on the schedule for the following day & giving us a time frame when the Technician would be here. Luke (Technician) texted me a few minutes early, came promptly, quickly discovered the problem (coupler, I think?) & put a new part in. He had to move our dryer out of a VERY tight space in order to do the job. He reset the dryer back in its spot extremely well (even better than the guys that delivered the dryer when we bought it). He checked out the washers operation before leaving, & it works perfectly. We have had other work done on the appliances in our house by Dependable Maytag. They are THE BEST!!!!

Excellent customer service- I needed a simple dryer part (the thermal fuse) that I was doing the replacement for myself, this part costs less than $10, but he searched his shop stock for it for me, determined that he exact one I needed was out on his other work truck and wouldn’t be available right away. He voluntarily looked up another local supplier who had one and gave me directions there. Even though he obviously was a busy man, he took the time to be sure that I was taken care of even once it must have been obvious to him that he wasn’t going to make any money out of the time spent. He definitely earned my repeat business though next time I have a repair job that is beyond my own abilities!

So our heating element on our dryer went out and with two kids, we were in desperate need of doing some laundry.......Luke was supposed to be here at 3:30, but he had a few stops before us that didn’t as smooth as they should have. We had a leak on the inside as well as under our refrigerator and we had to wait for our landlords to hire, then approve of any work done on it, so that took quite awhile. My landlords are known for dragging their feet when it comes to some repairs. Darryl was able to come and finish repairing our refrigerator and explained that he had to wait for word from our landlords before he could purchase the part. I am glad the job is done and our fridge is working properly with all the right parts. It can be complicated when you are a renter having to go through your landlord for repairs. Darryl said that if we ever need repairs done in the future to call his cell and, to make things easier for us, hell happily take care of any arrangements with our landlords. Very nice of him! I was recommended Dependable Maytag by a friend after another company told me my 3 yr old refrigerator could not be fixed. Dependable Maytag came out the next day. Luke, the technician, was very knowledgeable and found one of the fans to have a piece of debris stuck in a fan blade causing it to fail. He pulled out the debris and the fan worked and I didn;t a need a new refrigerator. Great work.

Dependable Maytag was excellent. They were polite, timely, efficient and effective. Luke was the man that came by our house. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Then when the machine broke again that same day (the fault turned out to be user error, not Lukes) he came and stayed late until he had it figured out and fixed for good at no extra cost. I went to Darryl looking for a new washer because ours had had issues for a while. He looked it up and it had a recall. After dealing with Samsung for a few weeks I decided not to have it fixed after all. I called Darryl and he promptly brought out and installed a new Maytag washer. I am completely happy with his service and the washer. I have had it about a month now. It is wonderful!

I went into the store assuming I needed to spend some money to deal with a leak from/near the water filter for my fridge. Instead of selling me something, Darryl spent about 10 minutes helping me figure out how to trouble shoot it. I did not buy anything that day, but will be back. An honest and knowledgeable person is fantastic.

I called about our washer making horrendous noises and Luke(?) made an appointment to come see and hear the washer.He diagnosed the washer pump as being defective and gave me the option to have him repair it or he could supply the part. I opted to do the work for myself. But, the story doesnt end there. Luke went to his shop and sourced the pump and then texted and offered to drop it back by my house which I gladly accepted.Customer service like this doesnt exist anymore.I highly recommend Dependable Maytag Home Appliance. Fixed my dryer. Kind of hard to get ahold of on the phone, but they called back after I left a message. Very knowledgeable. After discussion they suspected a bad control board; they went ahead and ordered it. Two days later they came out. Board was in fact bad (visibly burned relay). Very quick, competent (and busy) service man. Very pleased with service.

Mr. Gillespie always does a great job. They have reasonably priced appliances (even competes with the big places) and personal service. Give them a shot if you need a product or help.

Rebuilt and repaired, REBUILT AND REPAIRED! Instead of just replacing everything that was broken my washer was mended. This is rarely seen much anymore. This is the sign of a true professional when they can fix what is already there instead of just taking down all the parts numbers and replacing everything while running up the bill. My washer now is more solid than it was new!I highly recommend this place.

Problem resolved via phone. He suggested there was a lint issue since dryer is vented for lint to go up and out via the attic.At the attic vent was a ball of lint the size of a saucepan. Vent clogging was the problem.He saved dollars and parts.
