This place is dangerous if you love all things french. Real treasures, not faux recreations. The owners know their stuff and can be trusted to only buy the best
A wonderful must go see in Fayetteville. Items small and large, beautiful furniture, historical items. Visitors will see firsthand the care in selection and passion for all things French. Que cest beau.
The most beautiful antiques! Exceptional knowledge and service!
Nice but to expensive for someone who works for a living. Very courteous
They have beautiful items from France. Family owned.
The customer service was horrible. I was looking around the place and taking pictures of the pieces that I thought were nice (Even though pretty much every item was overpriced). After about 30 minutes, an employee approached me and said that I looked really interested in some of the items. I told her that some of the items were pretty cool. I continued to look around, until she began to follow me around, approaching me again about 15 minutes after that. She told me that I cant take pictures of the items due to concerns of theft, implying that I was casing the place. I was understanding, explained that I was only sending the pictures to family, and promised to delete the pictures I took and that I wouldnt take any more. She continued to press the issue and repeated herself multiple times, going so far as to say, This is a fine antique store, not a flea market. You cant do that here. To summarize, the items arent worth the price and, if you want to look around, avoid looking too interested in items, because that apparently means you want to steal them.
Love this Shop and the owner Renee is so knowledgeableAfter traveling and shopping through France for so manyYears she has a trained and expert eye for quality. She has been a fabulous source for me and my clientsAnd she is of the highest integrity.
Quite rude. Guess they dont want to sell their overpriced antiques. I suggest people check eBay for better deals.
Many beautiful things
Take a step back in time in this amazing shop filled with high quality hand crafted antiques in the french fashion. Serving with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. A must when shopping Fayetteville, Enjoy!
Pretty cool place. Really friendly and helpful, especially if you like antiques. Beautiful pieces of furniture. Stop in, youll like it. You never expect to find quality antiques on a street full of bars in the Ozarks.
Some really great pieces of furniture. Nice little place.
Terrible customer service. I came here a couple weeks ago and was accused of “casing” the place within 20 minutes of being there. After she made her claim, she continued to repeat herself ensuring that I knew just how extravagant her store was, stating that it was “a fine antique store, not a flea market” when I did nothing in the first place to disrespect the environment. In conclusion, don’t spend your money on these ridiculously marked up items!
What a jewel of a store! I felt I stepped into a history lesson. The owner told me stories to certain pieces that I was interested in.
An absolute must visit for any Francophile, interior design lover, history enthusiast and anyone who simply enjoys looking at beautiful things. Whether you just want to browse for awhile and enjoy the beautiful shop, or chat with the knowledgeable staff about pieces you love, a visit to French Metro is sure to add a bit of beauty to your day.
Beautifully curated collection of French Antiques hand-selected by the owners of the store. I really loved the atmosphere and the personal attention the staff gave me when describing the products I was interested in!
This store has truly high quality pieces. I appreciated that everything in the store was antique.
Very rude! No customer satisfaction at all. Very interruptive during questions asked. Not satisfied at all.
