Mechanic was skilled he found a 3 inch bolt and a nut inside oil pan 😵😵 during regular oil change!He even been so kind and offered to call a tow truck for me to tow my truck away.Be safe and make sure there is no nuts and bolts in your oil!

Truck stops are truck stops. But this one does distinguish itself by upgrading the store and food offerings. Even a real nice sitdown trucker restaurant that serves a few basics with a few specials that change daily - all at a good price.All staff are friendly and great to deal with. As a truck stop, prices on some items are of course going to be higher, but Ill pay for a great attitude compared to the close competition

Shop is short staffed and slow. Restaurant is decent but has the same issue but the waitress tries hard. West fuel pumps being replaced/upgraded. Inside of main building is also being partially renovated.

Good place to park. Clean restrooms and showers. Good washer and dryers, but there coin operated so you will have to get change from the front desk. Cant just use a credit card like modern laundry machines.

Love the dolly down cafe. People need to get over iron skillet. Id prefer the dolly down cafe. Times are changing and most sit down restaurants are gone, you need to support the few that are left or we will only have fast food

Ok, I guess I should own part of the blame on this one. I ordered a large Philly, gentleman asked how I wanted it. I replied the usual way and then left to use other facilities. Came back, grabbed my order and took off. 20 miles down the road I start eating my Philly to find raw onions, pickles, Mayo, lettuce. Fargo aint Philly, order exactly what you want.

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, great laundry. North Dakota people do it right!

The evening shift lady in Petro store at the front desk was kinda rude and disrespectful that I never had such experience with TA or Petro before, she needs to learn how to treat the customers. other than that everything is good.

Clean, friendly staff from the fuel desk, road squad, restaurants ( Laura makes the best O Charleys ) Barb has the cleanest showers and kind words . And if you have a problem the GM works to fix it.

Love stopping here for fuel. It’s big has variety and love how y’all are going to have pizza. I also love how y’all finally have a cafe shop for cooked food. That’s what Petro shops should be. Love this place!

Stopped in for a quick trie change and a bite to eat. Shop was fast and professional. Took care of me! The small restaurant inside was very nice. The server was polite and efficient. I ordered the poutine. It was incredibly tasty!

My complaint is basically for the restaurant (popeyes). I understand you under staff but since the place is located inside of a truck stop, if you don’t want truckers in there then put up a sign. How are you going to open only the drive thru with with no access for truckers to get some food. I think it’s B.S

No more Iron skillet!!! Did oil change there, night shift guy was very professional! He knows his stuff. Showers a bit small if you’re big guy.

The kiosk is still broken as of 02/22/21, so if you need to redeem points, check your account, or need a shower, good luck. I hope you have the app. Speaking of which, I tried using the app while inside the store, I got a msg that said, no ta available. So I go to the register to show the cashiers the msg, and they tell me that I have to go to the fuel desk. So I hope that youre in good enough shape to handle the run around from the idiots that work there

From the owner at the shop to the mechanics we were given all the assistance we needed when we had a problem with our rig and the weather was horrible. Friendly respectful and not overly priced or charged. Then the icing on the cake the restaurant didnt lock the door on me 5min till close but instead did their best to make me and my family a good hot meal. Thank you Petro staff for a great stay. The worst place I have ever been went in and asked the lady at the desk at the Fargo petro about fixing a tire it was about 845 pm and she said she was closed and I told her the door said she didn’t close until 10 she was very rude and said we close now I will never use a petro again I use to love the petro and now they are all going down hill they suck

Its a truck stop clean open 24 hrs its got a P Popye, Tim Horton a sandwich place and restaurant bar, convenience store, showers and lots of other business around in walking distance, wheel chair accessible

PETRO LUBE —— Guys are young but doing good job. Got oil change and tire balance. They are accurate. Manager(in front of the counter) is rude trowing paper to me just because I decided to rewise papers before to proceed to pay.

Would be better if there was a way to take our pocket change and get cash in exchange. Some people rely on their pocket change and there is no way to take it in here

This Petro has been a real disappointment after they took our the restaurant to put in fast food and an overpriced bar. The owners might as well have closed the doors.

Always a good stop. Parking is large and rarely fills up. They have a shop and blue beacon on site. The Dolly Down restaurant inside offers good food with wine and beer to wash it down with if you so inclined. This location also offers Popeye’s chicken, Charley’s phillycheeaesteak, and a doughnut-shop. If your here for a reset there is plenty within in walking distance

If allowed to get cleaned up in the washing machine, would for sure be 5 stars. But thats frowned upon.

The women in the service center really rude customer service non existent. Had slack adjusters fixed in the truck shop guys there did a great job but front desk guy was a little rude also being a professional I understand but I would love to go to a place where the professionalism runs both ways one star..😳

Tiny thing of wings that looked like they were in the warmer for hours and tiny thing of cheese sticks for $10... What a rip off! Got em because I was hungry and in a hurry (they were in warmer backwards so I didnt see the price until I paid after standing in line for 5 minutes because their credit card machines are touchy). 1st and last time there! You can get the quick essentials. Customer service is horrible with the exception of a few. I have had 4 times went to get gas and prepaid, and after prepaying they did not set the pump and ran over 10-50 dollars. Then you go inside and they make it out like it is your fault. Yeah, pretty safe to say that I wont be back.

This one has plenty of parking, the staff is pretty friendly. The showers are clean, towels are nice quality. They have a well stocked convenience store with a lot of cool trucker stuff and supplies and what-nots, as well as other supplies and junk foods that make traveling fun and fattening. Hahahahahahaha.! The truck repair shop is well stocked with all the stuff you might need on the road for your vehicle or trailer. The Service Writer was pretty funny and the mechanics are good

The Gear Down restuarant is an excellent first rate dining experience. A perfect meal to end the day!

Had to have trailer tire repaired... they got us right in and patched up and back on the road in no time. Nice folks...

Excellent stop. Large parking lot, a little slanting in some spots but fairly even over all. Safe and secure. We had no issues being bothered. Showers were a nice size and clean. Bathrooms were clean. Laundry was great, 2.00 wash (use the white ones to the left), .75 cent tide for one load, large capacity dryers 2.50 for 45 minutes. Hot water and high heat too not turned down like most places. Excellent restaurant, elk burger was awesome. 3 other food choices also. Convience store in building was great. The man at the counter was really helpful and filled up some water jugs for us. Cigs prices around 7.50 average. Truckers fuel isle store not as great food or otherwise as the other was. Repair shop was friendly and helpful.

I have a car wash subscription at Petro and probably wash my car 2-3 times a week because of the amount of driving I do for work. Every time the people that dry my car do it as quickly as possible, doing quite a poor job. That is until tonight... As I waited my turn I was shocked as I watched the kid dry the car in front of me taking pride it what he did and doing a fantastic job. He did an equally great job on my car so I tipped him $10 only because that was all the cash I had on me. Had I had more I would have given it to reward great service and to give him all the money that I didnt tip the people who gave poor service. I hope someone from Petro sees this and gives the kid who was drying cars tonight a raise!

The best Petro I have ever visited!!! Yes they do not have a iron skillet. But the restaurant they do have is 10 times better than a iron skillet!! The amount of food that I got for $12.50 was great!!!

Complete disappointment, especially in the Dolly Down restaurant...My husband went in this morning for breakfast about 10 minutes after they opened... There was one other customer in there...We ordered and I should have known it was going to go bad when the server greeted us and informed us she was tired...I ordered the hamburger steak medium, the eggs over EASY, and the hash browns well done... I even told the server they could almost burn them...After a LONG wait, we finally got our breakfast... I say right off that the hash browns were almost raw but since we had waited so long I let that go... The eggs were well (hard) and I was going to let that go as we had waited so long.... But when I cut into my hamburger steak that was RAW AND Cold, I was done... I asked the server to just take it off my bill as I didnt have time to wait on something else...You would think with only one man ahead of us cooking breakfast would be easy.... Guess not... Or else they just dont care...

I got banned from here about 2 or 3 years ago, just for being a customer that went there a lot and enjoyed the place. I had the police called on me without ever being asked to leave. It even bothered the police. They explained to me that they have the right to refuse survive to anyone they please for whatever reason they desire. As I explained to them the situation, about them not asking me to leave and calling the cops after I just got done ordering meal they told me that theyre all rude knuckleheads and that he himself wont go there for that reason and even called that fat white girl with the fake blue eyes and fake blonde hair a fat lady behind her back. It was cool I guess. They didnt bother asking for my ID. I think it must suck for a company to have even cops hate them. What a shame. I really and truly didnt do anything and if I did, to this very day I cant even figure it out. I kept bringing them money and Im one of the last guys that does wrong. Forget about me this place. Some people were born inbred and do demonic things to people.

Truck stops beat regular convenience stores hands down. With four restaurants and a convenience store to choose from youll be able to stock up on whatever you need before hitting the road again or going to work or home.

Its nice, its clean, the trucker laundry is nice, and the place is very spacious. BUT THERES NO DRIVERS LOUNGE!Thats all the truckers get? Laundry and showers? Thats IT???Drivers, dont waste your time here unless you have to. Might as well hit one of the other stops in town. These guys could care less about you.

1st time here in years. Stopped in for a 34. Fully expected to park and walk to other restaurants. Really enjoyed the licensed grill. Going to be pretty good place when construction done.

Variety of food options, clean, excellent showers (although a bit on the small side), superb laundry facilities (quarters required but worth it) and best of all it is quiet here. Not my first reset in Fargo, probably not my last, definitely my first choice as to where in Fargo.

Been coming here for 15 years and even abolished them for a few but with the new construction it seems like theyre changing for the better once more. I would highly suggest checking out the dolly downs grill in the old arcade. And of course theres Popeyes along with a Tim Hortons & some other chain that eludes me. Even their prices in the c store dropped. Id give them a second chance folks.

Put truck in shop for new starter took all day and when I got it out had no oil pressure so its back to shop for another day down. No tv room so its setting in your cold truck at minus 4 great place if you live here i guess

I have been using the petro shop for over 10 years.l have been very satisfied with the services they have done for me.

Well dont expect a shower because the night shift says they might or might not have hot water and theyre full of attitude. Was gonna eat at the restaurant but my question is how can the employees properly sanitize their hands and dishes if they dont have hot water. Ill inform the morning shift management of this health code violation and probably inform the local health department inspector

Purchased $400.00 in fuel and went thru the truck wash for another $100.00, after 600 miles of driving for the day not a single hot food item between the fuel island or the main building. After my purchases and parking, it was after midnight so out of luck for a hot meal. Wont stop again.

Theres a new mechanic, works thurs through sunday. talented and friendly. listened to my complaint and diagnosed issue promptly and in a timely manner. i recommend him..

This is the best place to eat and maybe have a hard drink.we ordered a 10oz steak and it was cooked right the first time and so delicious and juicy you could cut it with a fork with seasoned fries a choice of soup or salad so we had chicken noodle soup and it was so good if you ever want to try it come to Petro in Fargo North Dakota they are some nice people games laundry they have truck parts that have truck wash they have a fuel station they have a shopping store this is just amazing anything you need is right here.

Sunday 6/16/19 @ 11:30 pm . I had the great displeasure of having to deal with the 3 jerks, 2 guys and a female, who were able to show just how braindead, lazy,and rude people can be. Why do people like this work in jobs like this ? TA, surely this town must have better to offer for employment.

I just love the Petro in Fargo, nice people, clean facilities, and good food. Plus the truck center there does great work if you need your truck fixed.

Nice truck stop. Was unusually difficult to get quarters for laundry at noon on a weekday. No cashiers had any...

Quick stop to run an errand. They have a small trailer dolly down area. Check in with the shop before dropping though.

Very clean. Restaurant inside.....BEST steak (ribeye) that Ive had in a long time! Ordered before shower and it was ready when I got out. AWESOME. Nice showers, steak,potato and salad for 17 bucks... so tender I could cut with a plastic knife!! Guess Im just amazed......lol....try it out guys....better than the flying j and loves round here....better parking lot....peace!

I havent been in the petro in almost a year !!! I used to stay there all the time when I was in town then started to go else where because of the service n wasnt happy with the place . I gotta say it has really turned around an I love the atmosphere an service . And the food is amazing also !!! Love the remake !!! U guys did a great job ! Outstanding job !!! Just notice the popeyes when I was leaving another bonus since it happens to be one of my favorites out here on the road !!! Thanks an have a great day !

Disappointed. Very, very, very disappointed.Drove 548 miles on a ham sandwich because I KNEW the salad bar and soup would be worth the wait! Iron Skillet IS the restaurant to wait for.Except, no Iron Skillet here. No salad bar. Only a small overcrowded cafe, and 3 fast food options.If I’m going to eat nasty unhealthy food, I’ll go across the street to Love’s and save money on my fuel.

Parking is tight in certain areas. Restaurant is short handed on employees. Employees in store have attitudes. The Petro Truck Stops are usually nice but this one isnt.

Had to shut down for a blizzard ( and to think I was born in grand forks ND) thank goodness I was just passing through !
