I love going here for high quality beef. This place has a true butcher and recommends the best beef for the food youre going to he cooking. The place is small but very clean and friendly employees. Very classic traditional latin America produce and go to house hold items. Definitely visit.

Small store, hard to see from Columbia Pike tucked behind a gas station, produce prices comparable to supermarkets and even better on certain items like limes, quality varies greatly and depends on item turnover. Much greater selection of Latino and Caribbean items than supermarkets. I believe different varieties of Latin American breads are delivered fresh daily. There is a pretty nice butcher section in the back that I havent had a chance to sample yet, with a large selection of cuts and a large chorizo section. There are also many typical household sundries.

Nice staff and clean store

This is a really good latin store, they have a lot of the things were used to and they usually have a pretty good selection of everything. The only problem is that theres so many things without a marked price and theres not that many people to ask so you either end up taking a bunch of things to the cashier to ask for the price or you just dont get somethings for not knowing the price :/

Best meat I had bought so far

I always find great cuts of meats, fresh breads, friendly staff, and quality products of all kinds and from almost all countries. I usually recommend this store to all the latin people I know. If you have a party coming up or family event, I asure you that 9 out of 10 times its more likely that you will find products you are looking for in this store instead of other latin stores.

Another international store with a lack of attention to customer service principals. 3 Stars from me due to poor service from front end. I know everyone is busy, but a simple Hello seriously makes a difference.

Some say it smells funny, I say it has a mas authentico atmosphere. This location is a little cramped, but they have the Chrorizo Cabal Perron, the secret ingredients to my wildly popular taco Tuesday. One of the great conveniences of living in this most Northern part of Virignia is the proximity of international markets catering to the local diaspora, in this case central american tastes. From a variesty of queso frescos, jarrito by the gallon and mexican coke by the litre, this places fills a lot of specialty needs at very competitive prices.

This is very good, it is a Latin convenience store. It has quite a few products. Reasonable prices. It was not tidy, a lot of product on the floor which does not give a good image. And the joy of those who work there is overwhelming (Im being sarcastic).

La Americana Grocerys is one of the oldest Latin stores in the metropolitan area, and I like it because it has good quality products.

On Sunday I bought strip to grill and when I got to my house we started preparing the meat and noticed a bad smell in the meat. I went to complain and the manager was upset arguing that the meat was ok but she started to smell the meat with her chinstrap on !! I told him to take off his chinstrap and smell the meat well that meat was bad. Today Wednesday I went back to the same place by strip and the same thing happened to me, the manager got upset and told me that it was better to pay me back because that meat was good. DO NOT BUY MEAT LIKE THIS! Do not be fooled, personally I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THAT PLACE
